Kundengemeinschaften im Web 2.0: Blogstrategien im Kundenmanagement

Göhring, Martina, Michaeli, Alexej 11 April 2014 (has links) (PDF)

The social lives of UK fashion blogs

Eldred, Susan A. January 2013 (has links)
This thesis is the result of twenty-five months of ethnographic fieldwork, both online and offline, in the United Kingdom working with London-based fashion bloggers. It aims to examine the ways that bloggers negotiate between style and identity through the presentation of self in online environments, more specifically fashion blogs and corresponding social media websites, as well as offline spaces, including London Fashion Week, industry events, and regular social interactions with other bloggers and blog readers. It also address the relationships between bloggers and members of the fashion industry, as the industry struggles to define a place for them. Furthermore, this thesis hopes to contribute to growing debates regarding the potentiality of media anthropology to influence the creation and production of ethnographic texts.

Feasibility Study of a Plug-in Based Architecture for Mobile Blogging / Förstudie av en Plug-in Baserad Arkitektur för Mobil Bloggning

Zapata, César, Jakobsen, Christoffer January 2007 (has links)
<p>There is no standard format for posting blog entries, which results in many different web feed formats and APIs being used. This thesis work addresses the problem by determining the feasibility of the development of a plug-in based architecture, used in a mobile blogging application compatible with multiple service providers.</p><p>During the study, a definition of what a feasible architecture would be was made based on requirements set by the stakeholders. Six models that complied with this definition were designed and compared. One of them was selected for prototyping. The prototyping phase was intended to test if the architecture could be implemented in a mobile environment. The study revealed that it is feasible to develop a plug-in based architecture to solve the problem, although with some limitations due to the dependency of libraries for streaming XML transformations not yet implemented in J2ME.</p> / <p>Det finns inget standardformat för att posta ett blogginlägg, vilket resulterar i att många olika web feed-format och APIer används.

Setting The Nutritional Agenda: An Analysis of Nutrition Blog Sourcing

Meganck, Shana 10 April 2013 (has links)
This research study analyzed the sources of nutrition blog information as measured by frequency and type of sources used by nutrition bloggers. Since the use of online resources for finding health information has become more prevalent, it is important to further research the topic for the purpose of better understanding how our nutrition agenda is set by nutrition bloggers. Focusing on 20 nutrition blogs, the study content analyzed 3,156 blog posts during a one-year period from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012, yielding 5,263 sources. Additionally, in-depth interviews were conducted with the writers of all 20 blogs in July 2012. The findings showed that (1) nutrition bloggers are sourcing half of the time, (2) nutrition bloggers are citing a variety of sources that include both credible and less credible sources, (3) nutrition bloggers are finding and choosing sources in various ways that include both credible and less credible methods, and (4) there is no difference in the sources selected by men and women bloggers. Overall, this study shows the need to create best practices for blog sourcing that serve as guidelines for both bloggers and readers, with emphasis on guidelines for source frequency and credibility of sources.

Blogging Eurovision: An Unconventional Online Space for Everyday Political Talk

Sanikidze, Kakhi January 2017 (has links)
The paper starts by providing the overview of the Eurovision Song Contest, its participant countries and the audience. The aim of the research is to find out how everyday political talk takes place on non-political platforms. For this study, a blog dedicated to the Eurovision Song Contest was chosen. The research is netnographic, and the conclusions are drawn based on content analysis (the comments left on the Eurovision news blog - Wiwibloggs.com) and interviews with the journalists of the blog. The paper approaches the blog as anon-institutionalized space, also known as “the third space.” It covers issues such as nation branding, communication in an anonymous setting and deliberative democracy. The paper further analyses different characteristics of the content shared on the blog and answers a question on whether such content is agonistic or antagonistic by nature.

Letramento digital de pessoas com deficiÃncia intelectual durante a aÃÃo de blogagem: uma anÃlise das aÃÃes e das emoÃÃes / Digital literacy of people with intellectual deficiency during the blog action:an analysis of actions and emotions

AvanÃzia Ferreira Matias 07 October 2016 (has links)
The main objective of this research aimed on the use of possibilities of digital information and communication technologies (TDIC) was to understand the main aspects that characterize the development of digital literacy practices for individuals with intellectual disabilities in the context of creating and managing a blog. From this purpose, we investigated the actions that characterized the digital literacy and digital inclusion mechanism of individuals with intellectual disabilities and their ability to use tools that encourage communication on virtual environment, peer interaction through digital communication and the online inclusion on social relations. As theoretical basis, our research had Vygotsky, also endorsing studies that address issues related to computer handling (KLEIMAN, 1995; Miller, 2012), the literacy practices for blogging action (Barton and Lee, 2015; Komesu 2005; Miller, 2012; STREET, 1995, 2003) and facial expressions (EKMAN, 1993; 1999; 2003 and EKMAN, and FRIESEN HAGER, 2002). The participants were five 17-37 year old subjects with intellectual disability. Four of them were attending ordinary classroom in a private school in Fortaleza. The other subject was not attending school anymore because he had already concluded high school. As a procedure, we asked each individual to build a blog and updated over six months. Thus, we highlighted practices that constitute the blogging action of participants in the digital environment, among which we highlighted the actions that precede the writing in the virtual space and records published in these blogs, as well as facial expressions captured in the act of reading the comments by these bloggers. For the analysis, we based on the published productions in blogs and in the maintenance shooting of the referred diary sessions in order to verify aspects of these young peopleÂs behavior. The blogging sessions were held with each subject once a week and always had the presence of a mediator. The results indicate that subjects got knowledge which guaranteed them the involvement and the rise in digital literacy process, such as the appropriation of resources from TDIC to type, copy, paste, post, personalize and interact with interlocutors within the virtual environment (reading and writing feedback via comments). In the conclusions it was found through this form of literacy, visible progress in the communicative and interactive performance of subjects, as well as increased autonomy for the use of TDIC and self-confidence for the production of texts in the digital environment. We conclude that the mediator support and interaction with the blog interlocutors motivated subjects and boosted their attention and interest, resulting in enthusiasm for communication in the virtual environment and, consequently, the digital literacy.

Swedish Blogs and English Borrowings : An Investigation / Swedish Blogs and English Borrowings : An Investigation into the Role of Swedish Blogs for Introducing and Establishing English Loans in Swedish

Westergren, My January 2009 (has links)
<p>This paper investigates the role of Swedish blogs as a channel for introduction and establishment of English loans. The direct loans, covering both single-word loans and phrasal loans, were collected from nine blogs at three points in time: 2000, 2004 and 2008. The dimensions of frequency, distribution, formal integration and establishment in Swedish normative dictionaries were used to analyze the samples as unintegrated, interim or established loans in accordance with Chrystal (1988). A newspaper corpus was used to compare the borrowings’ time of appearance to see whether the blogs have a more active role in introducing borrowings than newspapers have.      Of the single-word loans accounted for, 24 were unintegrated, 19 interim and 5 established. The phrasal loans showed 27 unintegrated, 30 interim and 1 established borrowing. When compared to the newspaper corpus, 10 single-word loans and 32 phrasal loans occurred only in blogs or in blogs before they occurred in the corpus, while 38 single-word loans and 26 phrases occurred in the corpus before or at the same time as in the blogs. Nine of the unintegrated or interim loans in the blogs were subsequently established in a Swedish dictionary. The results indicate that blogs do have a role in introducing and establishing borrowings in Swedish, but from this qualitative investigation it is not possible to determine the magnitude of their influence.</p>

På riktigt : Fyra lärares erfarenheter av blogg i undervisningen / It gets real : Four teachers' experiences from using blog in teaching

Thegel, Nathalie January 2012 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis was to find out what experiences teachers have from using a class blog in teaching. What are the advantages and disadvantages by the use of blogs in education? I have used qualitative interviews with four teachers in grades 1 to 6 who have worked with a class blog in teaching between one and three years. The study has shown that teachers' experience is that the blog serves as motivation and promotes learning for many different pupils and that, together with other digital tools is more equal. The main benefits that teacher mention is the expanded concept of text that offers multiple forms of expression and the authentic reader, which makes it more real, important and meaningful. Other benefits that come up are that it helps students to see their learning and learn from and with each other. The teachers think that the blog makes the students work, learning and differences visible in a positive way while difficulties become less visible. According to the teachers it creates a sense of belonging. They also feel that it increases the digital literacy, the computer becomes a tool and the blog has together with other ICT-tools for some of the teachers contributed to a different teacher role. One of them says that one advantage is that everything is archived, you can see what you have done earlier and it keeps things in order. The study indicates that the blog promotes pupils with both strong and weak writing skills, as the writing is not dependent on fine motor skills, digital tools make the text easier to write and the ability to adapt to the pupils’ abilities and interests. That’s a big advantage, according to the teachers in the study. Some of the teachers experiences that girls have a strong interest and confidence in the blog, especially when it comes to writing. The teachers find it hard to see disadvantages, but mention the dependence of effective IT support as technology causes trouble and the need for routines in the beginning as it may take some time to learn the tools, yet a teacher says that the blog saves time after a while. They also believe that you need to think in advance about what you publish. The teachers emphasize that the blog is only a tool in the teacher’s hands, which has to be based on a pedagogical idea.

The social blog : an ethnological study of everyday blogs' enticements and conventions

Malén, Alexandra January 2012 (has links)
To many of us blogging is a natural part of our everyday life. Bloggers dedicate hours to writing in blogs, reading blogs, commenting on posts or answering comments on published posts. But what we choose to blog about can differ; this is an important note due to my discovery that what we choose to write about determines what benefits blogging holds to the blogger. This paper discusses the conventions of blogging as well as tries to answer the question of why blogging is so popular: why do we start blogging and why do so many choose to continue? These questions get answered by me analyzing the phenomenon that is blogging. I have studied both blogging as genre and as a kind of performance, as well as I have tried to hold an open dialogue with my informants. Thus I have concluded that blogging is to be considered a tool with many uses. Some are strictly practical and others have a more social value to them. I have also noted that the blogosphere is something constantly evolving. The blogosphere is far from a homogeneous field. I have found out that it can be difficult to examine the subject due to the need to make generalizations and assumptions. My furthermost important find is the conclusion that blogging (in this research) is not to be seen as merely texts, but as social actions. This realization also leads me to observations concerning the boundary between private and public, the media and the people and even a question of democratic values. By doing a limited investigation of a limited phenomenon, I have been able to point out key tendencies in our time.
