Previous issue date: 2007-02-22 / This study aims at searching for blogs, that could be used as Spanish language
learning material, in the Spanish blogosphere as well as developing and evaluating a teaching
material based on task learning concepts, for the pedagogical use of blogs. My intention, with
this study, was to fill the gap related to the use of blog sin language teaching, especially in the
Spanish language teaching.
This work is based on the functional view of language teaching which guides the
Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais de Ensino Médio
(Brasil, PCN-EM, 2000a) and the
Orientações Curriculares para o Ensino Médio: Linguagens, Códigos e Suas Tecnologias
(Brasil, Volume 1, 2006). The proposal for the pedagogical use of blogs is grounded on the
theoretical concepts of task based learning (Nunan 1991; Willis, 1996 and Ellis 2003),
material development and evaluation (Tomlinson, 1998; Graves, 2000; Leffa, 2003; Ramos
2003a e 2003b, among others) linked to the guidelines in PCN-Apresentação dos Temas
Transversais e Ética (Brasil 2000) . In relation to the use of blogs for educational purposes,
this study is based on the theoretical concepts by Oliveira 2006; Sáez Vacas 2005; Fumero,
2005; Orihuela, 2006 among others.
This research is a qualitative one (Denzin & Lincoln, 1998) which makes use of
documentary methodology (Gil, 1991; Pádua, 2004).
The findings of this study include the presentation of a bank of blogs which can be
used for the teaching and learning of Spanish as a foreign language; the presentation of a set
of criteria for selecting blogs for pedagogical use; the design and evaluation of a task which
makes use of blogs as teaching material allied to the theme Ethic proposed by the PCN
Introdução aos Temas Transversais e Ética (Brasil, 2000) / Os objetivos desta pesquisa foram: 1- buscar, na blogosfera hispânica, blogs que
pudessem ser utilizados no ensino-aprendizagem de espanhol; 2- propor um material didático
para uso pedagógico do blog com base em tarefa e 3- avaliar o material desenvolvido à luz de
critérios de avaliação de material didático e tarefa. Com esses objetivos, procurei cobrir uma
lacuna no que diz respeito ao uso do blog no ensino de línguas, especialmente no ensino de
língua espanhola.
Esta pesquisa se fundamenta na visão funcionalista de linguagem que norteia os
Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais de Ensino Médio (Brasil, PCN-EM, 2000a) e as
Orientações Curriculares para o Ensino Médio: Linguagens, Códigos e suas Tecnologias
(Brasil, Volume 1, 2006). A proposta para uso pedagógico do blog está calcada nos
fundamentos teóricos para produção e avaliação de material didático (Tomlinson, 1998;
Graves, 2000; Leffa, 2003; Ramos, 2003a, 2003b, entre outros) com base em tarefa (Nunan,
1991; Willis, 1996 e Ellis, 2003), articulados às orientações dos PCN-Apresentação dos
Temas Transversais e Ética (Brasil, 2000b). Finalmente, a fundamentação teórica para o uso
do blog com fins educacionais está calcada em Oliveira, 2006; Sáez Vacas, 2005; Fumero,
2005; Orihuela, 2006, entre outros.
O trabalho parte da pesquisa documental (Gil, 1991; Pádua, 2004) no que diz respeito
à seleção e classificação dos blogs, para a pesquisa de cunho qualitativo (Denzin & Lincoln,
1998) no que diz respeito à elaboração e avaliação de material didático para uso pedagógico
do blog, com base em tarefa.
Os resultados obtidos contam com um banco de blogs passíveis de serem utilizados no
ensino-aprendizagem de espanhol como língua estrangeira, a apresentação de critérios para
seleção e classificação de blogs para uso pedagógico no ensino de línguas e o desenho e
avaliação de uma tarefa, utilizando o blog como material didático (Ellis, 2003) e tendo como
pano de fundo o tema ética, proposto pelos PCN

Blog no ensino de ciências: uma ferramenta cultural influente na formação de identidades juvenis / Blog in science teaching: a influential cultural tool in the formation of youth identities.Fogaça, Mônica 01 July 2011 (has links)
Essa pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar os efeitos de uma prática pedagógica para o ensino de ciências, circunstanciada pelo uso de blogs, sobre as identidades dos jovens. O foco na interface entre ensino de ciências, formação das identidades juvenis e tecnocultura, particularmente no uso de blogs, tem por justificativa o fato de que grande parte dos jovens urbanos constrói suas identidades na interação com as tecnologias digitais. Nesse tipo de ambiente, eles sofrem os impactos da revolução cultural deflagrada pela globalização. São impactos produzidos por discursos que estimulam o consumismo de tecnologias e o incremento de impactos sociais e ambientais. Analisamos os efeitos da prática pedagógica, realizada com 192 estudantes de 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental, distribuídos em 66 grupos, que produziram blogs nas aulas de ciências ao longo de um ano letivo, estimulados pela condução de temas culturais (CORAZZA,1997). Os dados coletados foram submetidos a um processo de análise quantitativa preliminar. Este permitiu selecionar dois grupos para análise de discurso das postagens, fundamentada na concepção de linguagem de Bakhtin e que teve por ferramentas analíticas a teoria da ação mediada (WERTSCH,1999) e a proposta de produção de padrões temáticos (LEMKE, 1997). Os resultados da pesquisa indicam que a prática pedagógica com os blogs, empregada de modo dialógico, pode contribuir com o ensino de ciências em várias direções. Ela pode ser um espaço de aproximação entre as características das culturas juvenis (e várias outras presentes nas vozes dos estudantes, suas famílias, nas identidades dos professores e de outras que participam das discussões em torno das postagens) e as características da cultura escolar por meio da hibridização das linguagens. Além do mais, pode ser uma ferramenta influente para o domínio e apropriação de novos significados para o conceito de tecnologia, ampliando o seu perfil conceitual. Por fim, ela também pode proporcionar a desestabilização das relações de poder entre as várias identidades e diferenças presentes nos textos e demais relações existentes na sala de aula, contribuindo para a aprendizagem da convivência no mundo. / This research aims to investigate the effects of a pedagogical practice for teaching science, by the use of blogs, on the identities of young people. The focus on the interface between science education, youth identities and ciberculture, in particular with the use of blogs, is pointed on the fact that most urban young build their identities in the interaction with digital technologies. In this environment, they suffer the impacts of the cultural revolution unleashed by globalization. Impacts are produced by discourses that encourage the consume of technologies and enhancement of social and environmental impacts. We analyze the effects of teaching practice, conducted with 192 students in 9th grade of Elementary School, divided into 66 groups, which produced blogs in science classes for over a school year, stimulated by the conduction of cultural topics (CORAZZA, 1997). The data collected were subjected to a preliminary quantitative analysis process. This allowed us to select two groups to make the discourse analysis of posts, based on Bakhtin\'s conception of language. They were submitted to two analytical tools: the theory of mediated action (Wertsch, 1999) and the proposed production of thematic patterns (Lemke, 1997). The survey results indicate that the pedagogical practice with blogging, used in a dialogic mode, can contribute to the teaching of sciences in various directions. It can be an approximation space between the characteristics of youth culture (and several other voices of students, their families, the identities of teachers and others who participate in the discussions on the posts) and the characteristics of school culture through hybridization of languages. Moreover, it can be an influential tool for domination and appropriation of meanings for the concept of technology, expanding their conceptual profile. Finally, it can also provide the destabilization of power relations between different identities and \"differences\" found in texts and other relationships in the classroom, contributing to learning to live together in the world.

Previous issue date: 2011-10-10 / The study describes and analyzes the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper coverage in the 2010 presidential elections and their counterparts in blogosphere sectors. Although it declares itself as neutral, impartial and pluralist, the newspaper made a clear, even if not taken, option party in the elections against Dilma Rousseff candidate and in favor of José Serra. Through field study conducted during the pre-campaign and the election campaign, the research shows this option, often performing without taking into account the actual newspaper Redaction Manual. At the same time, the negative issues for José Serra candidacy were silenced. Sporadically, candidate minor flaws were showed to maintain the newspaper impartially appearance, while more serious problems were hidden which could become news agenda. The starting point, described in the first chapter, it´s the newspaper episode publication of a statement attributed to the dictatorship military archives, which later it was descovered to be false, with crimes associated to Dilma Rousseff Minister correlated matters, which considered the counter-violence against the dictatorial regime as ―terrorism‖ and common crime. The newspaper positions, in this case, left no doubts as to its choice in partisan elections. It unfolds in a serious of other evidences occurred in the pre-campaign and the campaign, especially the huge amount of scandals and factoids associated with Rousseff application.
The information provided by the newspaper are confronted with denials, analysis and counter-information carried under the so-called blogosphere out. The research contextualizes the 2010 year newspaper political option in its history and in the press history in the country and it concludes with an analysis of the role, the low quality journalistic and the Folha de S Paulo credibility loss in the studied period. The methodology combines a literature review and a field research, basing on the theory about Muniz Sodré facts narration and on theories about the scheduling and silencing themes by communication media (Gatekeeper, Agenda setting, Silence Spiral and Reality Social Construction) and on the information propagation strength (memes theory spreaded information minimum units, by Richard Dawkins), relying also on Vladimir Safatle reflection on cynical reason, this mask insincerity, hypocrisy and bad faith, leading the subjects to see as rational these social bonds subjectivity / A pesquisa descreve e analisa a cobertura do jornal Folha de S. Paulo nas eleições presidenciais de 2010 e seus contrapontos em setores da blogosfera. Embora se declare como neutro, imparcial e pluralista, o jornal fez uma evidente, mesmo que não assumida, opção partidária nas eleições, contra a candidata Dilma Rousseff e a favor de José Serra. Por meio de estudo de campo realizado no período da pré-campanha e da campanha eleitoral, a pesquisa demonstra essa opção, realizada muitas vezes sem levar em consideração o próprio Manual de Redação do jornal. Ao mesmo tempo, os temas negativos para a candidatura de José Serra eram silenciados. Esporadicamente, se mostravam pequenas falhas do candidato de modo a manter a aparência de imparcialidade do jornal, enquanto se ocultavam os problemas mais graves, que poderiam virar pauta jornalística. O ponto de partida, descrito no primeiro capítulo, é o episódio da publicação, no jornal, de uma ficha atribuída aos arquivos da ditadura militar, que depois foi descoberta como falsa, com crimes associados à então ministra Dilma Rousseff e matérias correlatas, que consideravam a contra-violência em relação ao regime ditatorial como ―terrorismo‖ e criminalidade comum. Os posicionamentos do jornal, nesse caso, não deixaram dúvidas quanto a sua opção partidária nas eleições. Isso se desdobra em uma série de outras evidências ocorridas na pré-campanha e na campanha, sobretudo a enorme quantidade de escândalos e factoides associados à candidatura de Dilma Rousseff. As informações fornecidas pelo jornal são confrontadas com desmentidos, análises e contra-informações realizadas no âmbito da chamada blogosfera. A pesquisa contextualiza a opção política do jornal em 2010 em sua história e na história da imprensa no país, e conclui-se com uma análise sobre o papel, a baixa qualidade jornalística e a perda de credibilidade da Folha de S. Paulo no período estudado. A metodologia combina revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa de campo, embasando-se na teoria sobre a narração dos fatos de Muniz Sodré e em teorias sobre o agendamento e silenciamento de temas pelos meios de comunicação (Gatekeeper, Agenda setting, Espiral do silêncio e Construção social da realidade) e sobre a força de propagação da informação (teoria dos memes ― unidades mínimas de informação propagáveis, de Richard Dawkins), apoiando-se também na reflexão de Vladimir Safatle sobre razão cínica, que mascara a insinceridade, a hipocrisia, a má-fé, levando os sujeitos a ver como racionais esses modos de subjetivação de vínculos sociais

Anschlusskommunikation in der Blogosphäre / Connecting Communication in the BlogosphereZuber, Martin 30 August 2012 (has links) (PDF)
Die Forschungsfrage der vorliegenden Arbeit lautet: Welche Beiträge (Posts) der A-List-Blogs werden von den Bloglesern vermehrt zum Kommentieren und zum Verlinken ausgesucht? Zur Klärung dieser Frage bedarf es theoretischer Konzepte, die Aussagen bezüglich der Funktionen von Kommentaren und Links zulassen, um dann in einem nächsten Schritt entscheiden zu können, welche Medieninhalte jene Funktionen am besten erfüllen können.
Das Setzen von Links und das Abgeben von Kommentaren sind kommunikative Handlungen, die an die getätigte Botschaft des Blogbeitrags anschließen. Deshalb sollen beide Handlungen mit dem Konzept der Anschlusskommunikation erfasst werden. Nach einer Anpassung von Sommers (2010) Definition der Anschlusskommunikation an die neuen Kommunikationsformen des Social Webs, konnte in der vorliegenden Untersuchung gezeigt werden, dass das Kommentieren und Verlinken von A-List-Blogs als konsistent mit dem Konzept der Anschlusskommunikation verstanden werden kann.
Die bestehende Literatur zur Anschlusskommunikation offenbart die Existenz verschiedener Formen und Muster von Anschlusskommunikation, die durch unterschiedliche Kommunikationssituationen und durch differierende Funktionen gekennzeichnet sind. Es konnte festgestellt werden, dass aufgrund verschiedener Situationen bzw. Voraussetzungen der Kommunikation die verschiedenen Arten der Anschlusskommunikation auch unterschiedliche Funktionen für die kommunizierenden Personen übernehmen. Es wurden zwei Grundarten der Anschlusskommunikation identifiziert: Die individuelle Anschlusskommunikation und die kommunikative Anschlusskommunikation. Bei der individuellen Anschlusskommunikation geht es hauptsächlich um die Vermittlung eines Medienereignisses. Dementsprechend weiß bei der individuellen Anschlusskommunikation nur ein Sprecher von dem Medienereignis und informiert seine Zuhörer. Die Kommunikationssituation bei der kommunikativen Anschlusskommunikation ist eine Andere: Hier wissen alle Beteiligten von dem Medienereignis und thematisieren es gemeinsam. Die kommunikative Anschlusskommunikation bewirkt den Abgleich und die Vergewisserung von Einstellungen, Werten und Wissen der Gesprächspartner.
Ferner wurden die kommunikativen Handlungen Kommentieren und Verlinken von A-List-Blogposts in das bestehende Theoriegebäude eingeordnet und an konkreten empirischen Beispielen untersucht. Es wurde somit der Frage nachgegangen, ob das Linksetzen und das Kommentare abgeben den verschiedenen Formen von Anschlusskommunikation zuzuordnen sind. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass das Kommentare abgeben in A-List-Blogs der kommunikativen Anschlusskommunikation ähnlich ist und das Linksetzen der individuellen Anschlusskommunikation.
Wie oben schon angedeutet wurde, ist der nächste Schritt zu einer tragfähigen Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage das Erörtern von Theorien, die Aussagen über Merkmale von Medieninhalten treffen, welche in der Anschlusskommunikation bevorzugt thematisiert werden. Es stellt sich also generell die Frage: Welche Merkmale müssen Medieninhalte mitbringen, damit sie zur Anschlusskommunikation ausgesucht zu werden?
Bei der individuellen Anschlusskommunikation konnte auf die Nachrichtenwerttheorie zurückgegriffen werden. Da Nachrichtenfaktoren Indikatoren für die kollektive Relevanz einer Botschaft sind und bei der individuellen Anschlusskommunikation relevante Fakten weitergegeben werden, werden Medieninhalte mit hohem Nachrichtenwert vermehrt in der individuellen Anschlusskommunikation thematisiert. Da in der Nachrichtenwertforschung festgestellt wurde, dass der Beachtungsgrad einer Nachricht eine deutliche Wirkung auf die Rezeption und Verarbeitung eines Medieninhalts hat, wird auch von einer Wirkung des journalistischen Beachtungsgrads auf die Selektion der Medieninhalte zur Anschlusskommunikation ausgegangen. Ferner wurde gezeigt, dass generell Informationen mit lebhafter Darstellung, also mit Bildern, Videos usw. eine größere Aufmerksamkeit erzielen und somit intensiver rezipiert und verarbeitet werden.
Ferner wurde bezüglich der kommunikativen Anschlusskommunikation auf Merkmale von Medieninhalten geschlossen, die die Selektion der Medieninhalte zur Anschlusskommunikation bestimmen. Es zeigte sich, dass Bewertungen in Medieninhalten die Rezipienten dazu veranlassen, eigene Bewertungen abzugeben und ihre Bewertungen untereinander abzugleichen. Ebenso bewirken Medieninhalte, in denen humoristische Äußerungen enthalten sind bei den Rezipienten, dass sie den Humor weiterspinnen und sich gegenseitig dabei unterstützen. Ein weiteres Merkmal eines Medieninhalts, der zur Thematisierung in der kommunikativen Anschlusskommunikation ausgesucht wird, ist die Nähe zur Lebenswelt der Rezipienten bzw. deren Involviertheit in die entsprechenden Themen.
Folgend wurden sieben Hyphothesen formuliert, die die vermutete Wirkung der inhaltlichen Merkmale einer empirischen Überprüfung zugänglich machen soll:
Sind in Posts der A-List-Blogs Bewertungen zu Sachverhalten (HY1), humoristische Bemerkungen (HY2), partizipative Elemente (HY3a) oder Handlungen, Erfahrungen, Geschmäcker und Vorlieben des A-List-Bloggers (HY3b) enthalten, dann werden zu diesen Posts vermehrt Kommentare abgegeben.
Jene Posts der A-List-Blogs, die einen hohen Nachrichtenwert (HY4), einen großen Beachtungsgrad (HY5) und lebhafte Informationen (HY6) mit sich bringen, werden vermehrt von den Bloggern verlinkt.
Zur Überprüfung der formulierten Hypothesen, mussten jene Merkmale, von denen ein positiver Einfluss auf die Selektion der Medieninhalte beim Kommentieren und Verlinken erwartet wird, bei den A-List-Blogposts festgestellt werden. Dies wurde durch die Durchführung einer Inhaltsanalyse bei den A-List-Blogposts bewerkstelligt. Es handelt sich somit größtenteils um die Erhebung der erklärenden Variablen. Jedoch wurde auch eine zu erklärende Variable dabei erhoben – nämlich die Anzahl der zu den Posts abgegebenen Kommentare.
Die Beiträge der A-List-Blogs wurden für den Zeitraum 1.-14. August und 11.-24. September 2008 aus einem mittels eines Blogcrawlers hergestellten Datensatz extrahiert. Bei dem Datensatz handelt sich um ca. 60 Millionen Blogposts (vgl. Ha-Thuc, Mejova, Harris, & Srinivasan, 2009). Es handelt sich um 850 gefundene Posts der untersuchten A-List-Blogs. Aus forschungsökonomischen Gründen wurden aber nur 410 Posts inhaltsanalytisch untersucht.
Ebenso wurde anhand des Datensatzes eine Hyperlinkanalyse durchgeführt. Sie dient der Ermittlung der auf die A-List-Blogs eingehenden Inlinks . Die Anzahl der Inlinks jedes A-List-Blogposts stellt die Zweite zu erklärende Variable dieser Untersuchung dar.
Zur Überprüfung der aufgestellten Hypothesen wurden zwei Strukturgleichungsmodelle – das Kommentar-Modell und das Link-Modell – analysiert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass beim Kommentar-Modell nur HY 1 eindeutig bestätigt werden kann. Die anderen Hypothesen können nicht eindeutig bestätigt werden, sollten aber deswegen auch nicht vollkommen abgelehnt werden, da sie auch signifikante aber nicht besonders bedeutsame Zusammenhänge mit der zu erklärenden Variablen aufweisen.
Die Analyse des Link-Modells hat offenbart, dass alle drei endogenen Konstrukte des Modells einen signifikanten Einfluss auf die Anzahl der Links haben. Wie beim Kommentar-Modell findet sich aber nur ein Konstrukt, dass einen bedeutsamen Einfluss auf das endogene Konstrukt hat - das Konstrukt ‚Nachrichtenwert’. Somit kann bei diesem Modell Hypothese 4 eindeutig bestätigt werden. Die beiden anderen Hypothesen des Link-Modells können nicht eindeuig bestätigt werden, da der Einfluss nur schwach und somit die Bedeutsamkeit der Konstrukte zur Erklärung der Linkhäufigkeit marginal ist.
Resümierend kann festgehalten werden, dass die vorliegende Forschungsarbeit zu einem beträchtlichen Erkenntniszuwachs in den betreffenden Forschungsfeldern führte: Aufgrund des innovativen Untersuchungsdesigns – der Kopplung von Inhaltsanalyse und Hyperlinkanalyse – wurden wichtige Ergebnisse gesammelt, mit denen die Aussagen über die Wirkung bestimmter Merkmale von Inhalten bei den Rezipienten treffen lassen. Die Forschungsfrage nach den Merkmalen der A-List-Blogposts, die das Kommentieren und das Verlinken begünstigen, kann wie folgt beantwortet werden: Sind in Posts der A-List-Blogs Bewertungen zu Sachverhalten enthalten, dann werden zu diesen Posts vermehrt Kommentare abgegeben. Bezüglich der Links lässt sich folgende Aussage treffen: Jene Posts der A-List-Blogs, die einen hohen Nachrichtenwert mitbringen, werden vermehrt von den Bloggern verlinkt.

To give a viable answer to the research question following tasks must be solved:
Thirst, the communicative actions “commenting” and “linking” must be determined. Both actions connect to a made massage. Because of that the concept of Connecting Communication (Anschlusskommunikation) is suitable for analyzing them. Findings in the literature suggest that different forms of Connecting Communications exists which address different aspect of a media event.
The next step is to discuss theories, which explain the selection of media content in the reception process and combine these findings with the knowledge on Connecting Communication.
After the theoretical combination of media selection theories and the concept of Connecting Communication seven hypotheses are formulated, which operationalize the theoretical assumptions.
For the explanatory variables a content analysis of eleven German speaking A-List-Blogs was carried out during a period of four weeks, in August and September 2008. One of the response variables - the number of comments for each Post - results from the content analysis, too. To investigate the other response variable - the number of Inlinks for each A-List-Blogpost - a hyperlink analysis was used. The empirical investigations were based on data of blog posts, which were made available for the ICWSM09 in California. For testing the hypotheses two PLS-Models have been applied.
The investigations show that just two out of seven hypotheses can be accepted. The accepted hypothesis generate empirical evidence for the following findings: A-List-Blogposts containing news factors are increasingly linked by the blog readers. The number of comments is heightening, if the A-List-Blogsposts include evaluative statements.

The investigations of this thesis create new insights concerning the concept of Connecting Communications as well. Because of the innovative study design the work gives useful insights for reception and impact research. The empirical findings are unique and provide suggestions for the current social media research.

This thesis seeks to investigate the role that blogs play in contemporary South African journalism through examining six blogs in the South African blogosphere and their content choices. This thesis draws on four key theoretical frameworks around which the research questions have been formulated: New Media and Journalism, Journalistic Blogging, Audiences and the Public Sphere. There are three key research questions: 1. What is the role played by blogging in contemporary South African journalism? 2. To what extent has the blogosphere become a Public Sphere? 3. How have blogs influenced/changed/impacted on the style and content of South African journalism? The qualitative data collected through blog observation, interviews with blog owner/ editors and concluded focus group discussions with blog readers, is designed to help reveal the role blogs and bloggers play in contemporary South African journalism, and through discussions with the audience and monitoring conversations online, help explore the possibilities of a public sphere. The conclusion of this thesis is that blogs do play a role in contemporary South African journalism and can serve as an effective public sphere. Defining what it means to be a journalist and recognising the differences between blogger and journalist is an issue that needs to be effectively understood before a conclusive agreement is to be reached in the blogger/journalist debate. Auf der Makroebene der Blogosphäre gibt es die sogenannten „A-Blogger“. Diese zeichnen sich dadurch aus, dass ihr Weblog (Blog) im Gegensatz zur großen Mehrheit der Blogs über sehr viele Inlinks-verfügt. In der Literatur sind verschiedene theoretische Ansätze zu finden, die sich mit der Frage beschäftigen, welche Funktion den A-Bloggern in der Blogosphäre zukommt. So wird beispielsweise davon gesprochen, dass sie eine Agenda-Setting-Funktion für die Blogosphäre einnehmen. Das bedeutet, dass sie die in der Blogosphäre diskutierten Themen vorgeben und somit die anderen Blogs, die über deutlich weniger Links verfügen, in deren Themenwahl beeinflussen. Anhand eines Datensatzes (Burton, Java et al. 2009) soll überprüft werden, ob eine Agenda-Setting-Funktion der deutschen A-Blogger für die deutschsprachige Blogosphäre bestätigt werden kann. Als Methode wird die Hyperlinkanalyse eingesetzt.

Applying social capital to electronic networks of practice : blog communitiesBuranaburivast, Vorapoj January 2009 (has links)
Blogging is a recent phenomenon with research currently focusing on how it facilitates both personal and organisational knowledge exchange (Aimeur, Brassard & Paquet 2005; Hsu & Lin 2008). Social capital is shown to be a crucial factor facilitating knowledge transfer (Nahapiet and Ghoshal 1998). Blogging is a new social communication technology enabling individuals to collaborate and share knowledge. This research investigates how three dimensions of social capital affect individual knowledge sharing in weblog communities. In particular, it explores how individuals exploit weblogs as a tool for conversational knowledge management in educational institutions. Following Wasko & Faraj's (2005) study, the conceptual model is developed by setting eight independent variables from social capital dimensions and a dependent variable is set from individual behaviour in online knowledge sharing. Eight hypotheses are developed to test the relationship between these variables. A quantitative approach was applied for data collection and analysis. For data collection, an online survey was published in several Australian university weblog communities. An additional paper-based survey was distributed to the respondents in order to gain adequate sample size. For data analysis, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was applied to eliminate measurement items that shared a significant residual value with other measurement items. Further, the models obtained from confirmatory factor analysis were used to test the hypotheses by multiple regression analysis. Results from multiple regression analysis on online knowledge sharing suggest that trust, personal reputation and enjoy helping are positively associated with individual online knowledge sharing. The stepwise estimation procedure was further adapted in the regression model. The results show that four independent variables became significant to the study. These four significant variables were individual expertise, trust, personal reputation and enjoy helping. Lastly, several limitations in this study such as the sample of university online setting and respondents' activities on weblogs are discussed. These limitations lead to the direction of future research provided in conclusion of this study.

Previous issue date: 2016-07-26 / The field of advertising has undergone speech changes since the first records to the arrival of the Internet. In cyberculture, the advertising experienced changes in the issuer pole and ceased to be the only one to produce content and communication have new voices. The Segmentation and public saturation stimulated by the appearance of different communication devices led advertising to meet the needs of individual consumers, informed by communications technol-ogy, and went on to determine the strategies of advertisers in digital environments frequented by him. With increasing audience of fashion blogging, the collaboration, the sharing and the recommendation were redirected and blogs began to incorporate the interests of the market and consumer publications sponsored by advertising. In this sense, the discourse of fashion bloggers, not translated anymore personal experiences and integrated the goals of advertisers. This study aimed to identify how advertising appropriates the genres of fashion blogs, as bloggers have adopted the language of advertising in their publications and how this dual ownership has changed the relationship between bloggers and readers. With the support of discourse analysis method, we identified how advertising is inserted in the genres of fashion blogs, allowing bloggers adopt the language of advertising and use routinely in publications. We also analyze how this dual process interfered with social relations between bloggers and readers and how these relationships are established in the comments of the publications.

Interactions. / O campo da publicidade sofreu transformações de discurso desde seus primeiros registros até a chegada da Internet. No âmbito da cibercultura, a publicidade experimentou mudanças no polo de emissão em que já não era a única a produzir conteúdo e a comunicação contava com novas vozes. A segmentação e a saturação das audiências estimuladas pelo aparecimento de diferentes dispositivos de comunicação levaram a publicidade a adaptar-se às necessidades do indivíduo e passaram a determinar estratégias que posicionassem os anunciantes nos ambien-tes digitais frequentados por ele. Com o aumento da audiência dos blogs de moda, as premis-sas de colaboração, compartilhamento e recomendação foram redirecionadas e esses blogs passaram a incorporar interesses de mercado e consumo a partir das publicações patrocinadas pela publicidade. Neste sentido, os discursos das blogueiras de moda, que antes traduziam experiências pessoais, passaram a integrar objetivos de divulgação dos anunciantes. O presen-te trabalho tem como objetivo identificar de que maneira a publicidade se apropria dos gêne-ros discursivos presentes nos blogs de moda, como as blogueiras adotaram a linguagem publi-citária em suas publicações e como esta dupla apropriação modificou as relações entre blo-gueiras e leitoras. Com o suporte do método de Análise do Discurso, identificamos como a publicidade se inseriu nos gêneros discursivos dos blogs de moda, permitindo que as bloguei-ras adotassem a linguagem publicitária e passassem a utilizá-la de forma rotineira nas publi-cações. Analisamos ainda como esse duplo processo interferiu nas relações sociais entre blo-gueiras e leitoras e como essas relações são estabelecidas nas conversações nos espaços para comentários.

Previous issue date: 2006 / Esta dissertação investiga a reflexão partilhada sobre a prática docente nos diários, em alguns ambientes web, com ênfase nos blogs, buscando identificar suas formas de ocorrência, implicações com a rede web e repercussões nas práticas. Para tanto, optou-se por uma investigação qualitativa, usando como instrumentos de coleta de dados: observação participante nos blogs, onde a autora deste trabalho torna-se também autora de blog e insere-se ativamente nas comunidades de professores-blogueiros; entrevistas por meio eletrônico; e análise documental, visando capturar as singularidades do objeto focado. Este percurso foi traçado com a participação de professores que mantêm blogs sobre sua prática docente, encontrando-se em diversas regiões do Brasil e fora dele. Abordou-se os diários como instrumento que, no exercício da escrita e do registro, subsidia a reflexão docente, atuando como guia para investigação dos problemas e concepções dos docentes comprometidos e dispostos a transformar a prática, onde destaca-se o acesso ao mundo pessoal do professor e as possibilidades de um desenvolvimento profissional constante. Os blogs não se constituem apenas como um simples aparato técnico, mas sim como um fenômeno social, o que demandou uma análise mais aprofundada sobre suas características e potencialidades, sempre sob a ótica do contexto educativo. A inserção dos professores no ciberespaço direcionou o olhar para as singularidades das construções identitárias neste contexto, confrontando com este processo, social e historicamente constituído na escola, no currículo e na sociedade. Notou-se que estes sujeitos articulam-se em grupos que procuram colaborar para buscar soluções conjuntas para problemas comuns, formando redes rumo a aprendizagem cooperativa e a inteligência coletiva. Todos os elementos indicados apontam que existe um movimento de inquietação entre alguns professores, o que os leva a procurar no ciberespaço um ambiente fecundo para refletir com seus pares e buscar outras alternativas para construir novas educações. / Salvador
