Mapeamento de competências docentes: estudo entre acadêmicos de administração / Mapping teaching competences: a study among students of business administration

Ramos, Márcio Sampedro 19 October 2011 (has links)
The changes coming out from the latest years have repercussion on all instances of living in society, generating new social, political and educational demands. Within this new context, it is extremely relevant to rethink the role of the educator, the academic and administrative procedures, as well as the importance of education for the job market (NASSIF; HANASHIRO, 2001). The present study had as general objective to map the teaching competences of the Business Administration course of UFSM in the perception of students and teachers. The research arose from a theoretical model by Alvarez and Diaz (2004) which mapped the following competences: content masterfulness, logical reasoning in the explanation, relationship, organization, evaluation methods, support to students, use of resources, motivation, professional duties, encouragement to classroom participation and theory-practice interaction. The methodology used was a quantitative research of descriptive characteristic. As to the technical procedures, a case study in the Business Administration course of a public higher education institution (IES) was carried out. By analyzing more than 1130 questionnaires, having a sample of the students (226 respondents) and another of the teachers (27 respondents), it was noticed that the teachers were well evaluated, getting means quite above the intermediary value in the scale (2.50). The results still showed that, within these competences, the most important and influential ones in the teaching performance according to the students perception were, in this order: content masterfulness, logical reasoning in the explanation and support to students. Concerning the teachers sample, the results also pointed out the content masterfulness as the most valued competence, followed by logical reasoning in the explanation and encouragement to classroom participation. Thus, it was demonstrated that there is a sort of alignment in the valuation of competences between teachers and students. Among the areas of knowledge in the course, the area of Human Sciences has stood out by presenting the higher means of the competences, within the 29 variables of the construct. The lower means registered were those of the Marketing area.

Matematiska kompetenser i läroböckernasuppgifter : En granskning av två Matematik A läroböcker

Bouyer, Melinda, Mitre Johansson, Irma January 2010 (has links)
The purpose of this essay is to study how mathematical competences appear in text books for Mathematics A. The main objective is the six mathematical competences, which Palm et al. (2004) analysed from the national curriculum. These competences are: communication competence, modelling competence, reasoning competence, concept competence, problem solving competence and algorithm competence. To reach the purpose, an analysis of tasks in two Mathematics A text books was conducted. The result of the analysis shows that all six mathematical competences are represented in the textbooks, but the concept and algorithm competences appear extensively more in both textbooks (85-95 %) while the other competences appear briefly. The result which also is connected to the curriculum, may result in difficulties not only in developing the competences but also in reaching all curriculum goals by working solely with the textbooks.

Voitkevič, Regina 13 July 2010 (has links)
Šiandienos gyvenimas reikalauja veržlių, drąsių, pasitikinčių savimi, žmonių, kurie nevaržomai siektų savo tikslų, bendrautų ir bendradarbiautų su kitais. Kad žmogus suaugęs taptų pilnaverte asmenybe, žinančia savo kompetencijas, gebėjimus bei įgūdžius, reikia jį ugdyti nuo mažens. Paauglystė – tai sunkiausias raidos tarpsnis, kuris gali iškreipti žmogaus vertybes, pažiūras, savęs vertinimo normas. Šiuo darbu norėta atskleisti, kokios yra teatro užsiėmimų galimybės ugdant paauglių pasitikėjimą savimi, streso valdymą, bendravimą ir bendradarbiavimą. Tyrimo tikslas — teorinėje ir praktinėje plotmėje atskleisti teatro užsiėmimų galimybes ugdant paauglių asmenines kompetencijas. Tyrimo uždaviniai: aptarti paauglių asmeninių kompetencijų ugdymo reikšmės teorines prielaidas, ištirti paauglių požiūrį į savo asmenines kompetencijas, išsiaiškinti, kaip per ugdymą teatru paaugliai pasitiki savimi, nustatyti paauglių streso valdymo galimybes teatro užsiėmimuose, išsiaiškinti paauglių bendravimo ir bendradarbiavimo galimybes teatro užsiėmimuose. Siekiant išanalizuoti rezultatus buvo pasitelkti šie metodai: psichologinės, pedagoginės literatūros apžvalga, anketinė – interviu apklausa, statistinė tyrimo duomenų analizė, fokus grupės metodas, struktūruotas interviu, mokinių atvejų analizė. Paauglystės amžius nuo 12 iki 15 metų yra itin trapus ir svarbus žmogaus gyvenime, kurio metu atrandamas tapatumas, vyksta spartus fiziologinis vystymasis, paauglius kamuoja sunkūs išgyvenimai... Kompetenzaustausch als Basis einer inklusiven Beziehungskultur / Exchange of competences as a basis for an inclusive culture of relationship / Wymiana zdolności jako podstawa inkluzyjnej kultury wzajemnych stosunków

Kleinschmidt, Heike 01 July 2014 (has links) (PDF)
Abstract in English Inclusion is a state where the opportunity to understand everything is given naturally. In order to support this idea as well as simply be authentic in this academic work in Inclusion Studies, the following part is an English summary of my Bachelor thesis. Using the English language – understood and spoken by a huge number of today's world population – I would like interested people who do not know German to find an access to the subject of my work. Exchange of competences and culture of relationship – abstract “Exchange of competences as a basis for an inclusive culture of relationship” is the title of my Bachelor Thesis. It means, that interpersonal exchange of abilities and understandings can be a starting point for relationships that are realised and experienced in a way that can be called inclusive (referring to “inclusion”). This work focusses especially on relationships between so-called clients and pedagogues. The thesis consists of four textual chapters from A to D. Part A describes my motivation for this work which is personal experience and presents the leading question – Does a mutual exchange of competences effect an inclusive relationship culture? – and the hypothesis: If competences are exchanged, the relationship 'clientel ⇆ pedagogue' is (on both sides) positively perceived – this feeling and in consequence the relationship itself are giving inclusivity and sustainable effectiveness to the growing process taking place on both sides. Furthermore, the methodology is described in the first chapter. The next chapter is about introducing definitions in order to ensure that the readers will fully understand the key terms and topics which are: relationships; culture and cultures; exchange and balance; competences, resources, potentials; communication; inclusion; science. Chapter C refers to two different kinds of sources in order to support and prove the hypothesis as well as to illustrate the concept. The first part of this third chapter is dealing with models from social sciences like “inclusive learning culture” (A. Zimpel 2012), “cybernEthics” (H. von Foerster 1993), hermeneutics (Joedecke 2013), Empowerment (W. Stark), Children's and Human Rights (J. Korczak; United Nations) and the Cultural-historical psychology (L. S. Vygotsky, A. N. Leontev, A. R. Luria). These concepts are compared and woven together – to be illustrated by authentic examples in the chapter's second part. I have prepared ten written surveys in a narrative style. These interviews’ subjects have been asked to talk about living in a different cultural surrounding that was at first “different” and “new” for them: they were to tell which perceptions and emotions they had? (What helped them to establish relationships to people there? How was it to perform pedagogical tasks as a “not-yet-speaking” person?) In chapter D the connections between all sources mentioned above in form are summed up. In addition, a metaphor is also created, which is called the “cultural bag”: representing the mutual growing process surrounded by the inclusive relationship culture through which the individuals’ competences could expand, the “bag of culture” is a form of container and at the same time transportable – so each part of the relationship can now individually take and use respectively apply in any new situation.

L’actualité des attributions du comité d’entreprise en matière économique / The current role of the works council in economic matters

Franconi, Vanina 15 November 2010 (has links)
A Works Council is a company institution designed to express the workers ’collective wishes. Its mission is social and cultural as well as professional and economic. Its economic roles have been marked by some major changes since its introduction in 1945.Originally the Council was entrusted with a mission of cooperation with the management which gave way to monitoring the management’s decisions in 1982. Though new laws and court decisions have contributed to giving the Council an increasing importance in that respect, it has no sway over final decisions. The first objective of this research is to determine the exact nature of this atypical function in relation with another form of workers ’participation: the Workers ’Union. Another more subtle evolution can be perceived in the Council’s economic roles since the beginning of the 21st century: by referring to the notion of cooperation the European Union law has made it possible to restore the Council’s mission to define the relations between the workers’ representatives and the management. The second objective of this work is to identify the elements in our present French Labour Regulations characterizing this evolution, which appears to be twofold. On the one hand the dialogue between the management and the Council is enhanced when the latter takes an active part in joint negotiations. On the other hand negotiating on the Council’s economic roles has led to its involvement in the global process of consultations with the possibility of being associated earlier with the management’s final decisions.

Les coopérations inter-sectorielles comme réponse aux enjeux managériaux du développement durable : le cas des associations thématiques d’entreprises / Intersector cooperation as an answer to sustainable development managerial issues : the case of theme-based corporate associations in France

Da Fonseca, Marie-Clémence 10 December 2013 (has links)
There is a relative paucity of studies on the managerial challenges encountered by firms when achieving corporate social responsibility. The present work seeks to fill this void by mobilizing literature on Corporate Social Responsiveness (CSR) and exploring propositions that help explain the organizational changes brought about by the application of CSR. Cooperation strategy seems to be a solution for firms to overcome their managerial challenges. According to the literature, cooperation strategies constitute a “mean” to obtain resources, skills and to develop dynamic capabilities. Hence, the aim of this research is to study strategies of cooperation as a response to the managerial challenges given by the stakes of sustainable development. This is done by analyzing theme-based corporate associations, using a resource-based view. The exploratory nature of the study entails a qualitative methodology which prioritizes the description of an ongoing phenomena and processes. The present work develops in two research stages : First an exploratory phase and subsequently an in-depth case study. The exploratory phase was based on the analysis of seventeen theme-based associations identified throughout France. This initial work allowed identifying a variety of cooperation strategies, which was used to define a typology of theme-based associations. Hereafter distinctive profiles within this typology were drawn and based on : The particular representations of “sustainable development” hold by the members of these associations and on the role assumed by each firm within it. In addition, the in-depth case study allowed us to explore the mechanisms of coordination within these associations, the different motivations for firms to take part in these particular forms and the nature of the collective response. The findings show a wide range of views on “sustainable development” which will determine the needs of any given firm in terms of resources and skills. In addition, the results show that in this particular context, the management of cooperative corporate strategies proves to be a complex and challenging process. As the sustainable development principle, around which these corporative associations are formed, may reveal conflictive values and personal beliefs. The present work contributes with a detailed analysis on the resources and skills required for firms when operationalizing their social responsibility. The results are subsequently discussed in light of existing literature.
