For many years sharing is being studied as a fundamental conduct in the consumption behavior. Nowadays society is experimenting changes provoked by the sharing economy and collaborative consumption. The social media that showed up in the later decade changed the routine of the society and new consuming ways using these virtual platforms invaded the market so that people can buy everything via Internet. Despite the shock caused by this new reality for the worldwide economies, the sharing economy and the collaborative consumption are just in its embryionic state. The studies related to these themes are still scarce not only in the market but in the academy too, exception for specific works through case studies or trying to better understand such a business platform born in this digital era. Thus for the experts perceptions searching about what can make easy or difficult this growing trend becomes relevant also in the Brazilian scenario. Given the above considerations this research has as its objective to analyze the experts perceptions about key drivers and inhibitors in the collaborative consumption in the Brazilian scenario. It was applied the Delphi method and its rankings approach to reach a common understanding among entrepreneurs of collaborative social projects, entrepreneurs of digital platforms and researchers/ academics. As a result of this study it was checked the main key drivers and inhibitors for the collaborative consumption in the Brazilian scenario, regarding sociocultural, technological, economic and political-legal perspectives. It was possible to relate perspectives of drives and inhibitors for the Brazilian collaborative consumption. Also, the research provided a consistent framework to support analyses and future studies about the construct, not well explored yet. Beyond the results, the study contributed for the academy giving a broad vision and knowledge about the literature, recent globally, specially in the Brazilian scenario; contributed with different sectors from the academy, beyond Business Administration; and expanded the knowledge about collaborative consumption from empiric evidences brought by specialists. As contribution for the business, the work increased the comprehension about the collaborative consumption phenomena, and the management vision about future perspectives.

Sustainable consumption has already been managing its way into debates and political documents for decades. Positive changes have been noticed in an international level, acknowledging the problem of excessive consumption and discussing ways to develop sustainable alternatives. In this scenario, we find the emergence of collaborative consumption as a new business paradigm and an alternative form of consumption. ICTs are an integral part of collaborative consumption that provide support so that this form of business can exist online. Such interface presents features still little explored; among them is online trust. Given this panorama, this study sought to verify the relation between the characteristics that influence online trust and the adoption of collaborative consumption. In order to do so, we applied a cross-sectional deductive method to the survey of a sample of 218 individuals who are users of collaborative consumption. The results of the analyzed data show that the characteristics that influence online trust on e-commerce platforms have no direct impact on the adoption of collaborative consumption. Based on these findings, we elaborated contributions to the academic and managerial knowledge, as well as limitations and suggestions for future research.

The research question considers how collaborative consumption can be expanded in order to establish a win - win system for businesses and consumers, as well as to understand if this practice is driven by social, economic or technological drivers (OWYANG, 2013c). It is presented as the collaborative consumption established in society, driven by the internet, creating a new culture, based on the consumption systems defined by Botsman and Rogers (2011) and in the twelve categories classified by Owyang et al. (2014). With the purpose of giving subsidies to the companies to develop more appropriate strategies next to this new profile of consumption, a qualitative, exploratory descriptive study was developed through a bibliographical review and semi-structured interviews in field research. The results indicate the real interests of respondents about the products or services made available on the collaborative consumption beyond the knowledge of which services are used, identifying the specifics of these social classes sharing phenomenon. It has also been possible to infer that the interest with respect to the practice of collaborative consumption is driven by several factors, one being the economic factor as the paramount among the respondents.

The numerous possibilities for extension and construction of the self derived from other forms of consumption that don’t involve ownership are a reality arising from the Digital and Access Ages. Therein, it highlights the Collaborative Consumption, described as a practice where clients access a good with the help of technology in exchange for a small amount. The emphasis of this thesis focuses on the understanding of this extension/construction of the self in the Collaborative Consumption, represented here by the Bike PE project, first intercity system of bike sharing in Brazil. The aspects that motivated the choice of this subject are directly related to the lack of studies regarding the extent of identity in new consumption configurations. Thus, the constructs taken as the theoretical basis of this thesis were the self, Access and Digital Ages and Collaborative Consumption. This is a basic qualitative research that used to collect data the natural, direct and structured observation and the non-structured individual interview. The observations were effected in nine stations where bicycles are and the interviews were conducted with 24 users of Bike PE. The collected data were analyzed according to Semantics and Pragmatics Analysis of Conversation. The results showed that the extension of the self in bike-sharing practice occurs through the meaning of the use of good accessed. This use by the experience of pedaling strengthens and brings up the idea of citizenship, as well as providing a sense of belonging and connectivity also helping to build the self by acting as an instrument of ideological, social, economic, cultural and sustainable change for people. The idea of ownership, however, is not ruled out. Users want or even have a bicycle, leading to understanding that access and ownership can be consumed concurrently.

Motivaciones del consumidor en relación a la intención de compra de adultos jóvenes que alquilan alojamientos peer to peer / Consumer motivations regarding the purchase intention of young people who rent peer to peer accommodation

Valdivia Guevara, Claudia Vanessa 10 July 2020 (has links)
Currently, the shared economy is gaining ground in the tourism sector, specifically in the hospitality industry, through tourist housing, also known as peer-to-peer (P2P) accommodation. [en] SHARING BRANDS: A SEMIOTIC PERSPECTIVE OF THE BRAND IN THE CONTEXT OF COLLABORATIVE CONSUMPTION / [pt] SHARING BRANDS: UMA PERSPECTIVA SEMIÓTICA DA MARCA NO CONTEXTO DE CONSUMO COLABORATIVO

LEILA TOLEDO MARTINHO 26 August 2019 (has links)
