Elektroninio verslo centro tinklo paslaugų sistema / Web Services in E-Commerce Hub

There are more and more incompatible systems with the growing number of services provided by computers. The user has to chose between expensive huge systems, offered by large companies like Microsoft or Oracle and losing competition. While these huge systems have a lot of possibilities, small and middle sized companies can only use a small portion of options offered there. With the increasing pressure from competitors, this forces users to choose other technologies like Web Services, in order to survive rivalry. WSDL (Web Services Description Language) was invented to describe Web Services in the most simple way there is. Web Service is a collection of protocols and standards used for exchanging data between applications or systems. Software applications written in various programming languages and running on various platforms can use web services to exchange data over computer networks like the Internet in a manner similar to inter-process communication on a single computer. In this work the methods are suggested for creation of stand-alone E-Commerce Hub and combining other systems into it. By the help of Web Services, users of Internet Stores, and other systems based on product and service data, are able to share their information with others through the E-Commerce Hub. It is easily automated and requires no maintenance.

Pacientų nuomonė apie vaikų reabilitacijos centro tiekiamas paslaugas / Patients opinion about services providet at the children rehabilitation centre

Aim of the study. To estimate patients’ opinion about the services provided at the children rehabilitation centre. Methods. An anonymous questionnaire survey was carried out at Kačerginė children rehabilitation centre from June until December of 2005. 197 patients (10-17 years old) participated in the survey. Statistical analysis was performed using the statistical package SPSS 9.0 for Windows. The associations between the variables were tested by Chi squared test and z criterion. Differences between means of two independent samples were evaluated using a criterion of Mann-Whitney. The strength of the association between rank variables was assessed by the application of the Spearman correlation coefficient. Results. The majority of patients (77%) at the children rehabilitation centre were satisfied with the provided services and with the variety and number of provided medical services (82%). The staff (especially physicians) was evaluated better than physical, emotional environment, and regimen. Girls evaluated emotional and physical environment, and especially learning, more critically than boys. Younger patients in comparison to older ones better evaluated the staff and physical environment. The major part (75%) of the patients indicated that during the course of treatment their health improved, more than a half of them (60%) would like to come back to the rehabilitation centre, and 63.3% of them would recommend it to their friends. Visuomenės sveikatos centro darbuotojų pasitenkinimas darbu / Satisfaction with work of the public health centre employees

Aim of the study: – investigate and compare the satisfaction of work of the personnel working in the Kaunas Centre of Public Health (KCPH) and its subsidiaries. Methods: - The personnel of KCPH and its subsidiaries took part in the inquiry. There were 193 questionnaires distributed, 150 of them were completed and returned. The response rate was 77.7%. The 7 – point Likert scale was used in the survey where 1 point stood for “totally disagree”, and 7 points for “totally agree”. The acquired inquiry results data were then processed and analyzed using SPSS version 9.0 Statistical software package. Hypothesis about the absence of interdependence between the two indicators were verified using the chi-square (χ2) criterion. Results differences at p < 0.05 level were considered as statistically significant. Means, standard deviations (SD) and confidence intervals (CI) were also calculated. The strength of relation among the rating variables was verified using Spirmen coefficient of correlation. Results: - In the KCPH subsidiaries 50% of the personnel are elder than 50 years of age. 49.1% of the KCPH subsidiaries employees have secondary education. General satisfaction with the work, independently of working place, is higher than average (4.98). The most satisfied with the work are the ones who have secondary education (5.33), elder than 50 years of age (5.31) and the ones who have 26 or more years of previous experience in the field (5.52). In the final masters paper “The organization and management of the children’s busyness in the day centers”. Edita Šlapelienė, the student of master’s degree program at Vilnius pedagogical university, department of Social pedagogic discusses the organization and management of the children’s busyness in the day centers. The paper confirms hypothesis that the effective organization of the day centers, secures busyness for the children from the socially risky families. During the recent years, the number of juvenile crimes, varied, however it is still quite high. More than a half of the juvenile crimes are done by the unbusy children. The authors state that the main reasons of the juvenile crimes are children unbusyness and the family social status. Some children attend extra curricular classes at their schools or at the institutions of informal education. The children from socially risky families can attend day centers. The main reasons of the day centers establishment are the increasing number of socially risky families and the increase of the juvenile crimes. The children are educated through the exercise of the prevention programs; their extra curricular busyness is secured. Parents are being socially educated as well. The merit of the day centers is the decrease of the socially risky families and better relationship between parents and children. Rizikos grupės vaikų, lankančių dienos centrus, požiūris į nusikalstamumą / Attitude of children at risk to the criminality

The pedagogical, psychological scientific literature about the problems of children at risk are analyzed, the results of children’s at risk attitude to the criminality and recommendations for the crime prevention programs are presented in this study. The study aimed to investigate the attitude of children at risk to the criminality. There were 98 subjects - children’s at risk (60 perc. – Female; 40 perc. – Male). The method of investigation is questionnaire. The results of study: children at risk understand the concept of crime as single crimes (theft, snatch, murder and etc.) or evaluate the concept as „bad“ or „very bad“. The children at risk have an opinion that the numbers of crimes are higher in the society neither among their peers. 30 perc. of children at risk have made a crime, 51 perc. of children have friends who have made crimes. 62 perc. of children at risk who have made crimes have never been punished for it. The opinion of children at risk to the criminality depends on the category of crime. The children at risk have more positive opinion to the theft, snatch, larceny, having illegal guns, fraud, hooliganism, breaking of traffic rules, neither to the crimes like mayhem, sexual violence, murder, crimes connected to the drugs or racket. The differences are statistically significant. The children at risk make proposals for the youth crime prevention. The work aims at exposing the importance of constant learning of teachers under conditions of changing education, teachers' needs and how the informal lifelong in-service educational institution, called Educational Centre, meets them. The characteristics of Educational Centre and its readiness to fulfil teachers' lifelong teaching are analyzed. The conceptualism of constant learning is analyzed in this work: the concept of qualification and competence, the importance of general skills, possibility to improve them and to get them while learning constantly. Pedagogical, psychological and social presumptions of lifelong learning are discussed. In the unit on methodology of lifelong learning it is said that constant learning of the teachers is an important condition of changing education, it is cleared up what the aims of adult teaching and psychological parameters of adult education are. The teachers' constant (lifelong) learning is investigated in details. The qualitative analysis of activity of Molėtai Educational Centre and its readiness to meet the needs of teachers' constant learning are presented. At the end of the work the conclusions about teachers' lifelong learning and readiness of the Educational Centre to do it are presented. Demencija sergančių ligonių priežiūra yra labai sudėtinga. Dienos centrai gerina ligonių, jų šeimos narių gyvenimo kokybę, padeda ligoniams ilgiau išlikti bendruomenėje. Kaune tokio centro nėra, tad buvo įvertintas dienos centro kūrimo poreikis ir paruoštas galimas dienos centro veiklos modelis/ organizacinė struktūra. Darbo tikslas. Įvertinti dienos centro, demencija sergantiems ligoniams, kūrimo poreikį Kauno mieste. Uždaviniai. 1. Įvertinti dienos centro kūrimo poreikį apklausiant demencija sergančių ligonių globėjus bei sveikatos priežiūros specialistus. 2. Įvertinti dienos centro, demencija sergantiems ligoniams, kūrimo galimybes peržvelgiant teisinę bazę. 3. Paruošti galimą dienos centro veiklos modelį/ organizacinę struktūrą, ligoniams sergantiems demencija, remiantis literatūra ir apklausos rezultatais. Tyrimo metodika. Tyrimas buvo atliekamas anoniminės anketinės apklausos būdu penkiose Kauno Psichikos sveikatos centruose ir Alzheimerio klube 2006 m. rugsėjo – 2007 m. sausio mėnesiais. Anketas užpildė 25 ligonių globėjai (G) ir 41 sveikatos priežiūros specialistas (SPS). Tiriamąją grupę sudarė 66 asmenys, iš jų – 60 moterų ir 6 vyrai. Globėjų grupėje amžiaus vidurkis buvo 58 metai (amžiaus ribos 29 – 78 metai), o SPS grupėje - 42 metai (amžiaus ribos 25 – 74 metai). Uždaviniai: 1. Ištirti KVSC organizacijos elgseną. 2. Atskleisti KVSC darbuotojų motyvavimo sąsajas su kitais organizacijos elgsenos komponentais. 3. Įvertinti ir palyginti patenkintų ir nepatenkintų darbu darbuotojų požiūrį į organizaciją. Tyrimo metodika. Tyrimo objektas – KVSC organizacijos elgsena. Naudojant anoniminę anketą apklausti 133 KVSC darbuotojai (atsako dažnis 73,9 proc.). Statistinė duomenų analizė atlikta naudojant programų paketo SPSS 13.0 versiją bei Statistica 6.0. Rezultatai. KVSC būdinga aktyvi naujų galimybių paieška, sugebėjimas spręsti problemines situacijas, dominuojanti hierarchinė valdymo struktūra, veiksminga formali kontrolė, orientacija į veiklos kryptis, dėmesys klientui, jautrumas aplinkos pokyčiams ir greitas prie jų prisitaikymas, rizikos tolerancija, organizacijos tikslų akcentavimas ir įgyvendinimas.
