Through the analysis and translation of the play Lights Out (1984) by the Indian author Manjula Padmanabhan, we explore and develop the theories brought above as guidelines to help us think about how the translation of dramatic text works. Side by side to our thinking are the words of authors like Gayatri Spivak, Patrice Pavis, Jean-Pierre Sarrazac, Aijiz Ahmad, Edward Said and Beatriz Vi?gas-Faria, that help us face the complexities of translating a dramatic text written in English language by an Indian woman. In the meanwhile, we also build an historical landscape of Indian theater and argue about the spot of drama studies in our universities and editorial market. Seeking for an otherness in translating we found a great amount of silences and invisibilities and we tried, as far as we could, to bring those realities closer to ours. / Este trabalho de disserta??o est? imbricado em um cruzamento te?rico que envolve os estudos culturais e p?s-coloniais, os estudos de tradu??o e o estudo de dramaturgia. Atrav?s do estudo e da tradu??o da obra Lights Out (1984), da autora indiana Manjula Padmanabhan, exploramos aspectos destas teorias, especialmente pensando em como funciona a tradu??o de textos dram?ticos. Contamos com as palavras de pesquisadores como Gayatri Spivak, Patrice Pavis, Jean-Pierre Sarrazac, Aijiz Ahmad, Edward Said, Beatriz Vi?gas-Faria, que nos ajudam a enfrentar as complexidades de se fazer a tradu??o de uma dramaturgia escrita em L?ngua Inglesa por uma mulher indiana; e, com isso, tamb?m nos auxiliam a construir uma perspectiva hist?rica do teatro indiano e do lugar que os estudos de dramaturgia ocupam em nossas universidades e mercado editorial. This moment, commonly called post-modern, includes other disciplines, and also the argument that appeared from the initial comprehension of several researches about this period, sends the same debate to the field of Urbanism. The urban thought that follows the post-modernity, stands in a new historical portrait on which this essay researches the characteristics of the current changes and seeks their correspondent projecting forms in the urban interventions, particularly by undertanding the urban projects that happened in Barcelona in the three last decades. Proposing a broader understanding of the changes, through historical perspective, by presenting the paradigms of assessment and solution of the problem of the urban reality, since the nineteenth century, appears the proposital for introducing one more detailed discussion of the first theory of Urbanization, conferred to the Spanish engineer Ildefonso Cerd?, to context the concepts, which we will be working wich, allowing a more consistent, theoretical discussion about the issue of urban reforms in the nineteenth century and the Contemporany Urbanism. / O presente trabalho ao diagnosticar a fal?ncia da modernidade, e o surgimento de uma condi??o p?s-moderna traz para o debate a dispers?o de posicionamentos verificada no quadro do urbanismo ap?s as primeiras teorias cr?ticas formuladas pelo Movimento Moderno. Entendendo que esse momento, mais comumente chamado de p?s-moderno , abrange tamb?m outras disciplinas, procurou-se situar o debate surgido a partir da compreens?o inicial de v?rios estudos que tratam do per?odo em quest?o, para poder remet?-lo ao campo do urbanismo. In the decade of its emergence, 1980, Brazilian nationalism was deeply tied to aspirations for democracy and this consisted of a kind of political language of the period that included not only the MST, but also conservative sectors of Brazilian politics. The MST then develop a way to realize their different social function of the movements that preceded it as the Ligas Camponesas, incorporating the element of the nation as political capital to strengthen their practice. This relationship will be studied from a debate on contemporary Marxism and its key concepts.

Primeiramente, a constru??o da paisagem nordestina foi examinada em sua correla??o com outros filmes do cinema contempor?neo e de per?odos anteriores do cinema nacional. Em seguida foram investigados diferentes aspectos da paisagem no filme escolhido para ser objeto emp?rico desta pesquisa, como sua produ??o, roteiro, equipe t?cnica, or?amento e loca??es, bem como averiguamos como se formou o olhar do diretor em rela??o a essas espacialidades, por meio do levantamento de dados profissionais e biogr?ficos, que ajudaram a entender suas refer?ncias pr?vias subjetivas. Com esse aporte te?rico, a an?lise em espec?fico do filme foi direcionada por tr?s chaves de leitura selecionadas, sendo elas o c?u, o sert?o e a mulher. Tais chaves potencializaram as reflex?es sobre a paisagem referenciadas por pontos de adensamento simb?lico e marcadores espaciais, sendo examinadas as fun??es e peculiaridades que a paisagem assume nessa narrativa, tendo funcionalidades al?m da mera descri??o espacial, apontando fortes evid?ncias de que ela pode impulsionar a narrativa, refletir estados subjetivos dos personagens, ou at? funcionar como antagonista em certos momentos. Em ?O C?u de Suely? a paisagem constitui exemplo das novas tend?ncias no cinema nordestino, as quais trazem para o foco as transforma??es, a diversidade e atualiza??es que ocorrem nessas espacialidades, e permitem assim, a incorpora??o de elementos urbanos, globalizados, transculturais a essas constru??es espaciais. / The following research intends to propose an analysis of Northeastern landscape built in the movie ?Suely in the Sky?, directed by Karin Ainouz in 2006. Considering that a landscape is built by the human eye directing of a certain spatial region and that that look organizes and selects subjective previews and the imaginary of each viewer, it was explored a landscape representation in the movie via a film analysis penned by Jacques Aumont (in 2004), expanded by a plethora of methodological lines which adds landscapes concepts linked to several fields of humanities such as Arts, Geography, History and Literature. Firstly, the construction of the northeastern landscape was examed in its correlation to other movies from Contemporary Cinema and previous periods of National Cinema. Secondly, different aspects of the referred movie were investigated, since it was chose as the research empirical object, such as its production, screenplay, crew, budget and locations; it was also examined how the director?s style originated from those spatialities, elaborating a research through his career and biography ? that enabled a full understanding of his preliminary references. With this theoretical input, the movie?s specific analysis was driven by three selected themes: the sky, the sert?o and the woman. These themes boosted the discussions about landscape, deepened by its symbolism and spatial markers, thus, examined its functions and peculiarities which are elaborated towards landscape in this piece of work. An analysis supported beyond mere spatial description, leading to strong evidence for the narrative?s appeal, communicating the character?s personal states or even functioning as an antagonist in certain moments. In ?Suely in the Sky?, the landscape itself constitutes an example for the new tendencies of Northeastern Cinema, linked to its transformation, diversity e actualization characteristics that occurs in such spacialities, also enabling the embodiment of urban, global and transculturals elements to those spatial constructs.

Accordingly, we find relationship with the theater composed of fragments, where different styles are appropriate theatrical and representational styles are merged with each other. Discusses in the first chapter on the theater composed of fragments, and stroll through lanes of the strategies of some directors in the ways of the contemporary scene. In the second chapter we seek procedures and concepts of atmosphere Mikhail Tchekhov (TCHEKHOV, 1996), and the transition from point-to-point by Scott McCloud (2005). In the third part we describe the observation of the experiment conducted by the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Regional Theatre at the University of Cariri in Juazeiro, Cear?, in 2010. Using the methodology of "pesquisa-a??o", observing that the scenic writing end of the experiment, called "Toque Me", and the presentation in the cities of Crato and Barbalha, in August 2010, contained elements of the strategies from theater fragmentary scenes and conceptual contents of contemporary theater / Tentamos nos relacionar nessa pesquisa com outra l?gica, descobrir um caminho de abordagem pr?tica para nos aproximarmos de uma cria??o composta de fragmentos e uma busca de par?metros para a est?tica da apropria??o. Considerase que as primeiras iniciativas com vistas ao incremento do turismo em Natal ocorreram ainda nos anos 1960; entretanto, percebe-se que, apenas a partir da d?cada de 1980, houve um expressivo aumento das atividades tur?sticas em Natal e Regi?o Metropolitana, notadamente no litoral oriental do estado do Rio Grande do Norte, levando a uma expans?o do mercado de trabalho, ao aumento significativo dos investimentos estrangeiros, a mudan?as territoriais de grande impacto e ? produ??o de edifica??es voltadas principalmente para o ramo hoteleiro e de segunda resid?ncia para os turistas europeus. Entende-se que essas diversas novas edifica??es, monumentos e tamb?m as renova??es e restaura??es, implantados na cidade de Natal, buscaram a constru??o de uma nova identidade para a cidade, dentro do processo de desenvolvimento capitalista e de espetaculariza??o urbana. Considera-se que os monumentos e as edifica??es ic?nicos s?o atributos apresentados pelas cidades com vistas ? venda das localidades como mercadorias, estabelecendo uma nova quest?o urbana, um novo protagonismo das cidades, que buscam maior autonomia em rela??o ao Estadona??o. Nesta pesquisa, analisa-se o objeto arquitet?nico, ou seja, as edifica??es e os monumentos constru?dos ou restaurados em Natal e sua relev?ncia para o city marketing promovido pela cidade. Verificou-se que, de fato, essas edifica??es e monumentos est?o inseridos na produ??o arquitet?nica contempor?nea como base para o incremento da competitividade de Natal, e revelam um modo de produ??o capitalista, amparado nos recursos p?blicos, que opera na produ??o do espa?o urbano com vistas a repeti??o do modelo hegem?nico da cidade competitiva / Natal has come through major changes in the last 150 years, since the actions of city beautification, in the 19th century, until the present day, when such transformations start to have the objective of including the city in the competition for the attraction of the capital flows and consumption, domestically and in a foreign sense. It is thought that the first initiatives aimed at increasing tourism in Natal occurred in the 1960s, however, it became apparent that only from the 1980s was there a significant increase in tourist activities in Natal and the Metropolitan Region, especially on the east coast of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, leading to an expansion of the labour market, the significant increase of foreign investment, territorial changes of great impact and the production of buildings primarily intended for the hotel industry and second residence for European tourists. Since then, the incentives for tourist activity in the state have been maintained and even increased, based on tourism aimed at natural beauties, local cuisine and events, which transformed the tourist activity in one of the main sources of foreign exchange for the city of Natal. In the early 21st century, the construction of high-rise condominiums, monuments (including the designer ones), such as the Parque da Cidade, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, were already established. Also, shopping centers and, in order to host the World Cup, the new football stadium, the Arena das Dunas, among others, which were aimed at local and foreign consumers, especially European, stood out in the city. It is understood that these new buildings, monuments and also renovations and restorations that were deployed in the city of Natal aimed at constructing a new identity for the city, within the process of capitalist development and urban spectacle. It is considered that the monuments and the iconic buildings are attributes of the cities aimed at selling locations as goods, establishing a new urban environment, a new role as cities, which aimed at seeking greater autonomy from the nation-state. In this research, it was sought to analyze the architectural object, that is, buildings and monuments built or restored in Natal and its relevance to the city marketing promoted by the city itself. It was found that, indeed, such buildings and monuments are inserted in contemporary architectural production as a basis for increasing the competitive nature of Natal. In addition, they reveal a capitalist mode of production, supported by public resources, operating in the production of urban space with a view to repeating the hegemonic model of a competitive city

Intends to establish, in this regard, a scenario that allows to trace, in the light of the principle of legality, its fundamentals and bordering lines to allow the construction of criteria to its recurrence. To realize this objective, the research divides in three distinct and complementary moments. Pretende-se estabelecer, a esse respeito, um cen?rio que permita tra?ar, ? luz do conte?do do princ?pio da legalidade, as suas linhas fundamentais e lim?trofes a permitir a constru??o de crit?rios para a sua recorr?ncia. Para a realiza??o desse objetivo, a pesquisa se divide em tr?s distintos e complementares momentos. Em uma primeira an?lise, se procede ? delimita??o da ideia de legalidade, desde seus paradigmas, de base iluminista, at? a sua proje??o principiol?gica em direito penal. Esoterismo, modernidade e seculariza??o: a Gnose de Samael Aun Weor

Contributing to the interdisciplinary debate that articulates the field of Cultural History, History of Religions and the recent History of Western Esotericism, it is intended to analyze the reversing relations and mutual influences that guide the construction of the modern Western culture, its rationality paradigms and empirical science; and on the other hand, the establishment of an esoteric tradition that seeks to harmonize these paradigms with a design strongly "enchanted" of the universe, and the mutual process of appropriation/ reinterpretation involved.This debate also dialogues to a more specific discussion in the field of Science of Religions, which seeks to understand the changes occurring in Western religious field opposite the new secularized society. Specifically, this paper seeks to contribute to the debate by offering a perspective of these processes from its Latin American component in order to identify how these dynamics are reproduced on the continent and its specificities. With this purpose, taking the work of Samael Aun Weor as a case study, it was conducted a long-term historical context by inserting the author in a more general constitution process of modern Western esotericism, and specifically, in the constitution process of an esoteric spiritualities field in Colombia, birth cradle of the Gnostic Movement. From a historical-comparative analysis of his work evolution, its institutionalization and practices - which takes into account conceptual and methodological contributions of Italian History of Religions School, historiography on Western esotericism and theoretical proposition Bourdieu from the concept of "field" - the work highlights the doctrinal transition that the Colombian esoteric Aun Weor operates in his work, moving from Rosicrucianism towards the conceptions of a psychological esotericism, proposed by the Russian esoteric Gurdjieff. Such a transition is analyzed by the dominant imagery in the esoteric milieu of his time, a perspective that offers an important analytical material for understanding the structural dynamics that guide the institutionalization of Gnosticism in Latin America and the specifics that guide their reversing relations with the social universe in which they are inserted. / O presente trabalho tem o prop?sito de analisar a obra do esoterista colombiano Samael Aun Weor ? luz do conceito de seculariza??o do esoterismo do historiador Wouter Hanegraaff, que integra um importante debate, no campo da Hist?ria Cultural, que analisa as rela??es reversivas e as influ?ncias m?tuas que pautam, de um lado, a constru??o da moderna cultura ocidental e seus paradigmas de racionalidade e ci?ncia emp?rica, e do outro a constitui??o de uma tradi??o esot?rica que busca harmonizar estes paradigmas com uma concep??o fortemente encantada do universo, e dos m?tuos processos de apropria??o/reinterpreta??o envolvidos. Esse debate tamb?m dialoga com uma discuss?o mais espec?fica ao campo da Ci?ncia das Religi?es, que busca compreender as transforma??es que ocorrem no campo religioso ocidental frente ? nova sociedade secularizada. This is done considering how the functioning of the National Executive, the Brazilian Social Work Student union has operated. The research analyzed their political position regarding the university as well as professional education in the period of 2003 to 2008. The study s theoretical and methodological object was obtained according to its structural, juncture, and time determinants. All of the mentioned elements considered the contemporary capital crisis and its implications towards the State and Society emphasizing specifically the changes that occurred in the University regarding professional education. For the purpose of data collection and production, a documental and field research was realized. Thus, interviews were done considering one manager of each management period of the ENESSO group in the time span of 2003 to 2008. Some subjects that represented the Brazilian Social Work Teaching and Research Association (ABEPSS) as well as were also interviewed. These subjects have had a relevant role in partnership with these entities and represented students in the contemporary scene. Results suggest that ENESSO has developed work that defends a project of a public, free and laic quality university. This entity also defends a project that considers the 1996 Curricular Guidelines. Currently, there is internal dispute in the social direction of the MESS, this is seen amongst political groups that diverge in opinions related to the analysis done by the Lula government regarding the political role that the National Student Union-UNE has taken in the counter-reform of higher education. This current juncture is seen as extremely individualist and it results as in unfavorable for the collective organization of the working class, especially regarding student movement. MESS has been going through a moment of profound instability and this dimension is being expressed by the absence of national coordinator for the 2008/2009 management period at ENESSO. Even though there are difficulties, it is possible to point out partnership of the entities that represent the national Social Work in Brazil. These partnerships are all related to a struggle and search for the development of a professional project that leads towards the sociability awareness that goes beyond capital. / A disserta??o analisa a dire??o social do Movimento Estudantil de Servi?o Social(MESS)por meio da atua??o da Executiva Nacional dos(as) estudantes de Servi?o Social(ENESSO), no que se refere a sua posi??o pol?tica sobre Universidade e Forma??o profissional no per?odo de 2003-2008. Do ponto de vista te?ricometodol?gico, o objeto de estudo foi apreendido em suas determina??es estruturais, conjunturais e geracionais, considerando a crise contempor?nea do capital e suas implica??es na rela??o Estado e Sociedade, com ?nfase nas particularidades e mudan?as na Universidade e nas exig?ncias postas no ?mbito da Forma??o profissional. Para a coleta e produ??o dos dados foi realizada pesquisa documental e de campo. Foram entrevistados(as) dirigentes da ENESSO, um(a) de cada gest?o entre os anos de 2003-2008, al?m de representantes da Associa??o Brasileira de Ensino e Pesquisa em Servi?o Social(ABEPSS) que destaca a relev?ncia da parceria constru?da com a entidade de representa??o dos(as) estudantes, na cena contempor?nea. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que a ENESSO desenvolve uma atua??o em defesa do projeto de universidade p?blica, gratuita, laica e de qualidade e do projeto de forma??o fundado nas Diretrizes Curriculares de 1996; o tempo presente ? marcado no MESS pelo acirramento de disputas pela dire??o social do movimento entre os grupos pol?ticos, os quais divergem, sobretudo, da an?lise realizada sobre o governo Lula e do papel pol?tico assumido pela UNE, nesse contexto de contrareforma do ensino superior. A conjuntura atual de exalta??o extrema do individualismo tem se revelado desfavor?vel ? organiza??o coletiva da classe trabalhadora e em particular dos movimentos estudantil. O MESS atravessa um momento de profunda instabilidade, dimens?o que se expressa na aus?ncia de coordenadores nacionais para gest?o 2008/2009 da ENESSO. The historical fact of his death, in 1355, became a landmark in the history of Portugal and, since then, several literary texts from various genres, have dealt with this theme, this made the couple Pedro and Ines a myth of love passion, of love beyond the barriers of death, like Tristan and Isolde, Romeo and Juliet, Abelard and Heloise. The literary myth - or any picture that mythologize literature - is always prepared before culturally and works in the same way that so many others, this is, as an element of cultural identity, either collectively or individually, making it also a feature poetic. Thereby, is an archetype confirmed through time and eventually reveals a series of webs of the human psyche. Ines de Castro became the Portuguese myth of eternal love: she became queen after your dead. The persistence of the myth makes the love story of Pedro and Ines continue to produce texts of various literary genres. This study examines six contemporary historical novels, to show that the way actually this kind o novel does a new formulacion of Pedro e Ines mythical, because now it s different view likes the victim in Os lusiadas and other texts from the past. Collaborate to this news relacions between history and literature and a novelist's new stance in relation to historical facts that relate like reffering to novel. The intention is to show, through the novels chosen now Ines de Castro have different profiles than it had before in tradicional historic novels from the period of Romanticism and New Romanticism.
