En la presente tesis se investigó sobre si las mejoras en la gestión de abastecimiento de filtros y alistamientos, optimizaría el tiempo de entrega al área de servicio técnico de la empresa CGM RENTAL S.A.C., ya que estas demoras han suscitado que el área de servicio técnico no pueda realizar los mantenimientos oportunos de los equipos ocasionando que los equipos presenten problemas por mal funcionamiento, desmovilización de equipos en obra , retrasos en los despachos de los equipos, entre otras lo que representa una pérdida considerable de ingresos para la empresa. Se expone como objetivo mejorar la gestión de abastecimiento; para lo cual se plantea identificar el nivel de rotación de los filtros y alistamientos; calcular sus stocks de seguridad e implementar una correcta planificación de compras.
Se utilizó la información obtenida del sistema SAP (Sistemas, Aplicaciones y Producto) para poder comparar el estado de las atenciones al inicio de la tesis con el estado de las atenciones una vez aplicadas las mejoras; para ello se tomó una muestra de 341 OTS (ordenes de trabajo del área de servicio técnico) se utilizaron tablas dinámicas, diagrama de Pareto entre otros conocimientos propios de la ingeniería así como un análisis detallado de la información
Se logró confirmar nuestra hipótesis ya que identificando los repuestos de alta rotación, calculando sus stocks de seguridad y mejorando la gestión de compras, se llegó a reducir el tiempo de entrega a servicio técnico.
In this thesis we investigated whether improvements in the management of supply of filters and setups, optimize the time of delivery to the area of technical service of the company CGM RENTAL SAC, as these delays have raised the area of service no can make timely maintenance of equipment causing equipment malfunction problems arise, demobilization of equipment on site, delays in deliveries of equipment, including representing a considerable loss of revenue for the company. Contents of this diploma thesis is creating of the simulation model of the logistic chain of the internal transport to evaluation of the impacts of the projected changes of the parameters of the logistic chain. The simulation model is created in Plant Simulation software by association Siemens PLM Software. An analysis of the discussed area is also included in the thesis. With the help of the simulation model it is tested if the modification of the logistic chain elements has positive impact on important characteristics of production of the given area. Conclusion are made from the results of the experiments and a modification of the logistic chain is suggested.

Hoy en día, las empresas de manufactura lidian con un entorno de producción dinámico, en los cuales el tiempo de entrega es el criterio fundamental para captar pedidos. Los sistemas de planificación y control de la producción (PPC) han venido jugado un papel crucial, sin embargo, en este nuevo contexto, los modelos más conocidos de PPC ya no satisfacen las necesidades de las organizaciones. Es así como este artículo propone un modelo de PPC basado en el sistema Demand-Driven MRP apoyado por las etapas del ciclo PDCA a fin de que se pueda desempeñar de manera óptima en entornos dinámicos como los modelos de fabricación make-to-order. Como resultado de la simulación en el caso de estudio se obtuvo el 100% de cumplimiento de entregas a tiempo y una reducción del lead time en 50.33%. Por tanto, se concluye que el modelo propuesto es aplicable y beneficioso en dicho contexto. / Nowadays, manufacturing companies deal with a dynamic production environment, in which delivery time is the fundamental criterion to get orders. Production planning and control (PPC) systems have played a crucial role, however, in this new context, the most popular PPC models no longer meet the needs of organizations. This is how this article proposes a PPC model based on the Demand-Driven MRP system supported by the stages of the PDCA cycle so that it can perform optimally in dynamic environments such as make-to-order manufacturing models. As a result of the simulation in the case study, 100% compliance with deliveries on time was obtained and a reduction in lead time by 50.33%. Therefore, it is concluded that the proposed model is applicable and beneficial in this context. / Trabajo de investigación

Bakgrund: Det miljömässiga hållbarhetstänket är en drivande faktor inom logistikutvecklingen i samband med de påtryckningarna från både samhället och dess konsumenter. Den kraftiga tillväxten inom e-handeln har satt e-handlare i en svår situation då kraven på korta leveranstider påverkar deras arbete med att även arbeta mer miljömässigt hållbart. Här sätts företagens logistikhantering på prov, då dilemmat mellan leveranstider och miljömässigt hållbara leveranser tvingar företagen att hitta en balans mellan de två. Därmed påvisas det att e-handelsföretagens arbete med sin logistikhantering blir deras sätt att överkomma denna problematik. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att bidra till en ökad förståelse kring hur ehandelsföretag arbetar med sin logistikhantering för att hålla sig konkurrenskraftiga. Frågeställning: 1) Hur påverkar efterfrågan av miljömässigt hållbara transportlösningar e-handelsföretags logistikhantering? 2) Hur arbetar e-handelsföretag med sin logistikhantering för att möta efterfrågan på korta leveranstider? Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi och genom en flerfallsstudie har fyra fallföretag valts att studeras. Det perspektiv som valdes inom studien är det hermeneutistiska perspektivet med en abduktiv ansats. Insamlingen av empirin har skett med hjälp av fyra semistrukturerade intervjuer med en respondent från respektive fallföretag. Den empiriska data har även kompletterats med dokumentstudier Slutsats: Från studien kunde vi komma till slutsatsen att e-handelsföretags arbete med att erbjuda miljömässigt hållbara leveranser härstammade från flera faktorer. Där valet att outsourca sina godstransporter och ett ökat användande av hemleveranser i kombination med allt mer automatiserade och information-drivna lagerverksamheter var deras sätt att möta denna efterfrågan. Då dilemmat med att arbeta miljömässigt hållbart inte alltid korrelerar med e-handelsföretagens ambitioner att erbjuda korta leveranstider visade det sig att områden som fyllnadsgrad var en aspekt där leveranstid visade sig vara viktigare och därav fortsätter e-handlare att behålla sina låga fyllnadsgrader. Bortsett från fyllnadsgrader är automatisering och användandet av informationssystem områden där miljömässigt hållbara leveranser och korta leveranstider korrelerade. / Background: The environmental sustainability concept is a driving factor in the development of logistics in connection with the pressures from both society and its consumers. The strong growth in e-commerce has put e-retailers in a difficult situation as the requirements for short delivery times affect their work to work even more environmentally sustainable. Here, companies logistics management is put to the test, as the dilemma between delivery times and environmentally sustainable deliveries forces the companies to strike a balance between the two. Thus, it is demonstrated that the e-commerce companies work with their logistics management becomes their way of overcoming this problem. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to contribute to a better understanding of how e-commerce companies work with their logistics management to stay competitive. Research question: 1) How does the demand for environmentally sustainable transport solutions affect e-commerce companies' logistics management? 2) How does e-commerce companies work with their logistics management to meet the demand for short delivery times? Methodology: The study has a qualitative research strategy and through a case study, four case companies have been selected to study. The perspective chosen within the study is the hermeneutic perspective with an abductive approach. The collection of the empirical data was conducted using four semi-structured interviews with one respondent from each case company. The empirical data has also been supplemented with document studies Conclusion: From the study, we were able to conclude that the e-commerce companies efforts to offer environmentally sustainable deliveries can be derived from several factors. Where the choice to outsource their freight transport and increased use of home deliveries in combination with increasingly automated and information-driven warehousing operations was their way of meeting this demand. As the dilemma of working in an environmentally sustainable manner does not always correlate with the ambition of e-commerce companies to offer short delivery times, it was found that areas such as fill rates were an aspect where delivery time proved to be more important and hence e-retailers continue to maintain their low fill rates. Apart from filling levels, automation and the use of information systems are areas where environmentally sustainable deliveries and short delivery times are correlated.

Previous issue date: 2017-10-16 / The delivery time is the time unit that determines the time needed to complete the project, which in external or internal conditions in organizations can cause deviations to the project deliveries. As a consequence, they can cause financial loss, excessive expenses, increased risks, communication failures, loss of quality among other problems. In some studies, alternatives are used to avoid or solve these problems in carrying out project management. As an alternative, this study uses about 100 million patents registrations deposited in the European Patent Office (EPO) Espacenet for potential solutions to deadline issues. The objective of this research is to identify the solutions for the delivery time of project management in the EPO base using the extraction of patents with the tool Patent2NET. With open source tooling, it allows for content analysis and bibliographic organization with mind maps. This research uses the qualitative method, with exploratory-descriptive character, with the analysis of secondary data. The correlation, similarity and frequencies of the words will be analyzed. Thus, contributions are offered to improve the understanding of these solutions found in four semantic classes, as well as the presentation of the techniques for constructing search expressions and the patents that can help in the solution of problems of the deadline and, therefore, to promote improvements in project management practices. / O prazo de entrega é a unidade temporal que determina o tempo necessário para concluir o projeto, que em condições externas ou internas em organizações podem causar desvios às entregas do projeto. Como consequência, podem trazer prejuízo financeiro, gastos excessivos, aumento de riscos, falhas de comunicação, perda de qualidade dentre outros problemas. Em alguns estudos, utilizam-se alternativas para evitar ou resolver esses problemas na realização do gerenciamento dos projetos. Como alternativa, este estudo utiliza cerca de 100 milhões de registros de patentes depositados no Espacenet da European Patent Office (EPO) para obter as potenciais soluções para problemas de prazo de entrega. O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar as soluções de prazo de entrega em gerenciamento de projetos na base EPO utilizando a extração das patentes com a ferramenta Patent2NET. Com o manuseio de ferramentas open source são realizadas análises de conteúdo e a organização bibliográfica com mapas metais. Esta pesquisa utiliza o método qualitativo, com caráter exploratório-descritivo, com a análise de dados secundários. Serão analisados o correlacionamento, a similitude e as frequências das palavras. Dessa forma, são oferecidas contribuições para melhorar o entendimento dessas soluções encontradas em quatro classes semânticas, bem como a apresentação das técnicas para construção de expressões de busca e as patentes que podem ajudar na solução de problemas de prazo de entrega e, assim, promover melhorias nas práticas de gerenciamento de projetos.

El presente trabajo manifiesta la situación del sector transporte donde se reconoce que las empresas de este sector contribuyen a una participación importante del PBI. Sin embargo, gran parte de estas empresas no cumplen al 100% las expectativas que tienen los clientes sobre el nivel de servicio esperado, afectando la competitividad de estas. El presente proyecto pretende abordar la problemática, la cual se centra en las entregas fuera de tiempo de la mercadería de los clientes, la cual origina que el servicio no sea aceptable. Dicha problemática engloba principalmente los siguientes procesos: recepción y almacenamiento, programación y despacho y seguimiento y entrega.
Como solución, se propone una planificación de rutas de los puntos de entrega, y mejorar los procesos en el área operativa de la empresa, basándose en la metodología BPM. Para validar el proyecto, se realizará una simulación, la cual imitará el funcionamiento del sistema del área de operaciones de la empresa enfocada en los tres procesos ya mencionados. / This project shows the situation of the transport sector where is acknowledged that the companies in this specific sector have an important contribution of the GDP. However, a large part of these companies does not accomplish the 100% of the customer’s expectations according to the level of service estimated, affecting their competitiveness. This project aims to address the problem, which it is focused on the deliveries out of time of the customer’s merchandise, that causes the service to be unacceptable. This problem involves the processes of reception & storage, scheduling & dispatch, and monitoring & delivery.
As a solution, the project proposes a route planning of the company's delivery points, and an improvement of the process in the operational area of the company, based on the BPM methodology.

De senaste åren har kantats av en ökad e-handel samt allt högre krav från kunder på leveransalternativ. Paketbox är ett leveransalternativ som ökar alltmer i popularitet men är i Sverige fortfarande under utveckling. Två branscher där de flesta kunder har e-handlat från är apoteksbranschen och modebranschen. Dessutom har dessa branscher haft en tydlig tillväxt de senaste åren. Tidigare forskning om paketbox dock begränsad, framför allt i Sverige. Således är syftet med studien att kartlägga vilka faktorer som är viktiga för kunder vid användning av paketbox som leveransalternativ i Sverige vid e-handel från apoteks- respektive modebranschen. Utifrån detta syfte konstruerades följande två forskningsfrågor: ”Vilka faktorer är viktiga för kunder vid användning av paketbox som leveransalternativ vid e-handel från apoteks- respektive modebranschen?” samt ”Vilka faktorskillnader och -likheter finns det för kunder vid användning av paketbox som leveransalternativ vid e-handel från apoteks- respektive modebranschen?”. I linje med syftet och för att skapa en generaliserbarhet valdes en kvantitativ metod i form av en enkätundersökning. Faktorerna som undersöktes var leveranstid, geografisk bekvämlighet, öppettider, miljömässig hållbarhet, användarvänlighet och undvikande av mänsklig interaktion. Resultaten visar att samtliga faktorer var viktiga för paketboxanvändare men i olika grad. Däremot fanns det faktorskillnader vid paketbox som leveransalternativ vid e-handel från apoteks- respektive modebranschen för två av de sex undersökta faktorerna. Leveranstid visade sig vara viktigare för kunder vid paketbox som leveransalternativ vid e-handel från apoteksbranschen. Miljömässig hållbarhet var däremot viktigare för kunder vid paketbox som leveransalternativ vid e-handel från modebranschen. Således bidrar denna studie med kunskap om vad kunder upplever som viktigt vid paketboxanvändning. Vidare belyser studien att det finns faktorskillnader vid e-handel via paketbox från apoteks- respektive modebranschen. Studiens bidrag öppnar upp för vidare forskning inom ämnet för branschskillnader vid paketboxanvändning och vad det kan bero på. / In recent years, e-commerce as well as customer demands regarding delivery options have increased. The parcel locker is a delivery option that is increasing in popularity, but it is still under development in Sweden. Two industries where most customers have e-shopped from are the pharmacy- and the fashion industries. In addition, these industries have had a distinct growth in recent years. Previous research on parcel lockers is limited, especially in Sweden. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to map which factors are important when using parcel locker as a delivery option in Sweden when e-shopping from the pharmacy and fashion industries. Based on this purpose, the following two research questions were constructed: "What factors are important for customers' use of parcel locker as a delivery option when e-shopping from pharmacy and fashion industries?" and "What factor differences and similarities for customers can be found when using parcel locker as a delivery option when e-shopping from pharmacy and fashion industries?". In line with this purpose and to create a generalizability, a quantitative method was chosen in the form of a survey. Factors examined were delivery time, geographical convenience, opening hours, environmental sustainability, ease of use and avoidance of human interaction. The results show that all factors were important for parcel locker users but to varying degrees. On the other hand, there were factor differences for two of the six factors when customers use parcel locker as a delivery option when e-shopping from the pharmacy and fashion industries. Delivery time proved to be more important for parcel locker users when e-shopping from the pharmacy industry. Environmental sustainability, on the other hand, proved to be more important for parcel locker users when e-shopping from the fashion industry. This study contributes with knowledge of what could be perceived as important when using parcel lockers. Furthermore, this study highlights that there are factor differences when e-shopping via parcel lockers from pharmacy and fashion industries. The study's contribution opens for further research regarding how customer preferences about parcel lockers differ when e-shopping from different industries.

LKAB Mekaniska i Kiruna, Sverige är en ståltillverkare som bland annat producerar avropsartikeln lingenomföring till moderbolaget LKAB. Målet med detta examensarbete är att minska på leveranstiden för sistnämnda artikel. För att åstadkomma detta undersöktes produktionsflödet i affärssystemet Monitor. Därtill genomfördes en litteraturstudie och intervjuer hölls med avdelningschefer och operatörer från LKAB Mekaniska. Utifrån detta identifierades tre faktorer som påverkar leveranstiden negativt. Dessa är kötiderna mellan operationerna, den bristfälliga planeringen som skedde vid skär- och maskinavdelningen, samt begränsningarna som höll upp produktionen i maskinavdelningen Vi hävdar att leveranstiden minskar om följande åtgärder genomförs: eliminera kötiderna mellan tillverkningsprocesserna, öka beläggningen och kapaciteten på tillverkningsmaskinen, implementera ett kanbansystem, ändra ordningsföljden i tillverkningsprocessen och slutligen införa ett säkerhetslager med färdigsvarvade stänger. / LKAB Mekaniska in Kiruna, Sweden is a steel-manufacturer that, among other things, produces lingenomföring for its parent company LKAB. The aim of this thesis is to decrease the delivery time of the aforementioned product. In order to achieve this, production flow in the business system Monitor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) was examined. In addition to this a literature study was conducted and interviews were held with department heads and machine operators from LKAB Mekaniska. Based on data collected, three factors were identified as negatively affecting the delivery time. These are queue times between operations, inadequate planning for the cutting and machinery department, as well as the limitations that kept the production back in the machinery department. We claim that the delivery time decreases if the following measures are realized: eliminate queue times between stages in the manufacturing process, increase personnel capacity related to the manufacturing machine, implement a kanban system, change the order of the manufacturing process and lastly to introduce a storage of ready-turned bars.
