No. of bitstreams: 1 ManuelaViana.pdf: 2426723 bytes, checksum: 8d061fd93ee18a67fdaaf8669c1cdf9a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-04-24 / The paper shows the analysis writing result in Portuguese as Second Language, performed by the deaf in Brazilian sign language as First Language in networks. The aim was to analyse the verb usage in Portuguese phrasal writing structure as the deaf Second Language in networks. Take as a guideline: How do the Deaf who have Brazilian sign language as First Language employ the verb in Portuguese writing in networks? To answer this question, we go first to theorists whose work deal with Brazilian sign language, Portuguese, Portuguese writing, Portuguese as Second Language, verb, networks, writings and deafness, highlighting authors as Almeida (2007), Bagno (2011), Felipe (2013), Peixoto (2004), Quadros (2004, 2006), Recuero (2011), Zeni (2010), among others who discuss about the theme. In the second place, we gathered together a group in the net WhatsApp of about 20 deaf users of Brazilian sign language as First Language. That group took part in ―daily chats‖ about ordinary subjects in the network WhatsApp. Those ―chats‖ written in Portuguese were picked up from the above mentioned network and established the research corpus that was analysed under the Phenomenology standard experienced in two moments: graphic idea analysis and nomothetics analysis (abstract and unrelated ideas. From those processes arose five different rates of analysis: Verb in the Infinitive, Auxiliar Followed by main Verb, Verb with Oral sign, Unfit Verb and Unfit Usage and Inflection Verb. The analysed results showed: the network WhatsApp is considered a tool to help the acquisition of Portuguese as Second language, the deaf acquire Portuguese language as Second Language when they use the web, having in their writing a suitable verb inflection to understand the sentence and in their writings in spoken Portuguese as oral signifying. Starting from the understanding\interpretation that the inflection and finding attitude brought us, we suggest new studies in order to make closer the relation between. Brazilian sign language as First Language and Portuguese as Second Language so that the deaf can establish an interactive linking more proficient in the society that has Portuguese as First Language.

Sperb, Bruno Fagundes January 2014 (has links)
These study, placed in context of the digital age's transformations and possibilities, aims to contribute to the compreehsion of learning processes involved in programming games with Etoys (multimidia authoring software developed in object oriented language). Fourteen weekly workshops were given for a group of six students (which the class had one laptop per child) from a state public school in Porto Alegre. The interventions were carried out guided by Piaget Clinical Method. The processes of creating a game are grounded on the fields of Cognition, Game Studies and programming. The Etoys has proved to be an interesting tool for researching these processes. Through the analysis of the games produced, the dinamic of strategies, programming and game concepts could be observed.

Daviðsdóttir, Ása Rut, Lendahl, Fanny January 2022 (has links)

Competencies Required for Entrepreneurs to Manoeuvre Successfully Through Digital Transformation

Garcia, Maria Lucas, Murawski, Matthias, Bick, Markus 11 March 2022 (has links)
Digital transformation typically means both game-changing opportunities and risks (Nadkarni and Prügl 2021), forcing entrepreneurs to develop essential competencies to remain competitive in a changing environment (Murawski and Bick 2017). Very few existing academic studies have evaluated and developed competency-based frameworks designed for entrepreneurs (Hayton and Kelley 2006; Mitchelmore and Rowley 2010), or examined entrepreneurial opportunities and implications caused by digital transformation (Berman 2012; Sebastian et al. 2017). Aside from these examples, the domain of entrepreneurship is still relatively under-explored in this context, and so it can be concluded that the topics “competencies required for the digital age” and “entrepreneurs” are yet to be integrated to any great extent by the academic community, even though gaining an in-depth understanding would be benefcial for diferent stakeholders (e.g., entrepreneurs and business schools). To address this gap, we formulate the following research question (RQ): RQ: What are the required competencies an entrepreneur needs to master, in order to face the new challenges of digital transformation successfully? Based on insights taken from a literature review, which we used to prepare interview guidelines, semi-structured interviews were conducted in 2020 with six experts in the feld, who we selected through a convenience sampling approach. Our explorative study demonstrates that the development of basic technical skills and agility is an essential entrepreneurial requirement. Our results furthermore indicate that along with technological and soft competencies, social and emotional skills are crucial for entrepreneurs in the digital age. ...

If the daily press dissapeared he would get a psychosis”

Bakalarska, Anna, Schytt, Alexandra January 2014 (has links)
This report shows a qualitative study on how six young adults in the ages between 20-30 who are students at Linnaeus University in Kalmar percieve their news consumption habits and their use of news media on digital platforms. The aim of the study is to examine whether the six students feel the strogest connection with the press where they were raised or where they currently live, why they choose to use the media platforms they do and what meaning the use of the media bare to the students. We have seen a lack of information concerning why young people choose to consume news online instead of in printed media. The study is focused on theories concerning what affects people in their choice of media platforms and channels. This report shows that geographic nature, the quality of the content and which political ideology the daily press is founded on does not affect the respondents choice of media. Our study shows that the most important factor for the respondents is that the platform is easily accesssible and flexible. We can also see that the dissapering of the printed newspaper is connected to generations and techonology.

Cancino Quispe, Christopher Manuel, Carrasco Cubillas, Ruth Silvana 01 June 2021 (has links)
Most organizations make daily decisions intuitively, but only the use of data, visualization and data storytelling, ensures them a competitive advantage, since, by understanding the hidden message of the data, it generates added value to the organizations. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to contrast the various positions and assessment of the authors to answer the central question of this study: what are the main positions on the use of data visualization and data storytelling in decision making in organizations? The research method is of the qualitative type that identified the main approaches of different authors. The study shows that decision makers are facing a new industrial revolution: the digital one, and those who do not have the ability to decide in an agile and effective way will perish; that is, no matter how incredible their analysis is or how valuable their information is, it does not generate any change in the stakeholders if they do not manage to understand what they have done. Therefore, data visualization and data storytelling make a big difference in making decisions and action in a timely manner. / Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional
