Observou-se, no processo de pesquisa, que o desenvolvimento puramente tecnicista fora de uma perspectiva humanística vem determinando um quadro crescente de exploração predatória, poluição, aquecimento global, desigualdade social, enfim, de uma gama de processos destrutivos desencadeados por uma visão fragmentada da existência humana. Procuramos balizar a pesquisa inserindo as noções de sustentabilidade de Fritjof Capra e ecologias de Guattari, problematizadas dentro de uma perspectiva ecológica aplicada aos novos ambientes midiáticos . As principais especificidades dos meios digitais foram sistematizadas e, a partir das referências de mídia expandida , de Arlindo Machado, observa-se que as linguagens midiáticas se re-significam mediante o processo de convergência digital, constituindo uma nova matriz de formas e funcionalidades. 台灣有線電視推動數位化之關鍵成功因素研究 / Research for the key success factors of digitization of cable television in Taiwan

本研究旨在瞭解台灣有線電視推動數位化關鍵成功因素,首先提出有線電視數位化之困境與問題,建構有線電視數位化應有之關鍵成功因素之指標項目,並透過層級分析法(AHP)之權重分數配比提出良好之關鍵成功因素,以提供本研究結果與建議提供政府單位與相關業者應用與參考。研究方法以文獻分析法、深度訪談、修正式德菲法及層級分析法作為主要研究方式。 文獻分析法主要是蒐集有線電視產業相關中英文學術期刊、相關研究案、論文等資料加以分析;而深度訪談利用分層抽樣與立意抽樣挑選多系統經營者(MSO)、獨立系統經營者及政府單位三大類別共8位具代表性之經營管理者進行訪談;為求AHP更為嚴謹,特別採用修正式德菲法將問卷寄發給15位學者專家代表,針對各項意見進行分析統整並歸納而編製下次問卷,藉此取得共識;層級分析法主要是羅列出有線電視數位化需要決策之問題及相關因素,而後建立其具有相互關係之層級架構並進行信度與效度之檢定。 本研究經過上述研究法得到下列結論:各層面相對權重以技術創新面(43.9%)為首,其次為政策法規面(39.4%)而行銷策略面(16.7%)最低。針對技術創新面研究建議包括:1.公司領導者對有線電視數位化之決心;2.長期營運之資金需求之建議;3.開發高畫質電視(HD)服務之決心;4.數位節目版權費用支出應為列為重要投資項目。而行銷策略面研究建議包括:1.必頇提供更多優質數位頻道給消費者;2.提供民眾免費或低價之數位機上盒為考量方向;3.提供免付費的數位加值應用服務作為誘因。針對政策法規面研究建議:1.政府優先確立關閉類比頻道時程;2.建立有線電視數位化國家級政策;3.研擬收費標準與費率審議政策;4.經營區之調整或重新劃定。 / This study is to research the main success factors of digitization of cable television in Taiwan. At first, this study addresses the current dilemma of digtial cable TV. Also, the study constructs the key success indicators of digital cable TV. Moreover, the study adopts the Analytic Hierarchy Process ( AHP) in order to provide the key success factors to the government agencies and related industry for application and reference.This study introduces the document method, the in-depth interview, fixed Delphi method, and AHP for the main research methods. The docunment method is to collect cable television related academic journals, research projects and thesis. Depth interviews apply stratified and purposive sampling to choose multi-system operators (MSO), independent system operators and government agencies as the three main groups, totally eight representative managers for interview. For the AHP result more rigorous propose, the study adopts fixed Delphi method for sending questionnaire to fifteen scholars, and to analyze, integrate and conclude all the opinions in order to compose the second questionnaire for more consensus. The AHP lists the problems or related factors of digitizing cable TV, then built hierarchical structure with mutual relation and processes reliability and validity statistical analysis. This study can conclude to the following results by the above research methods: the most important factor is the technical innovation(43.9%), second is about the government policies (39.4%), and marketing strategy is the lowest(16.7%) priority. Furthermore, suggestions for the technical innovation include: 1. CEO's determination for cable television digitization; 2. Suggestions of Long term Financial plan. 3. Resolution of developing high-definition (HD) digital service; 4. Digital program copyright cost should be listed as important investment. Suggestions for the marketing strategy include: 1. Offer more high quality digital channels for consumers; 2. Offer audience more low price or free television box; 3. Offer free value-added service as incentives. For government policy suggestions: 1. Government should set a timetable about closing the analog channel; 2.Build national digital cable television regulations; 3. Construct fee standard and rate review regulation; 4.Rezone or revise the cable operators' service area.

科技影響電視新聞產製流程,種種新科技的發明給電視新聞製作人員帶來了觀念、知識及技術上的衝擊不斷。台灣新聞台競爭激烈,為因應類比技術淘汰後數位技術的發展,民視、東森、大愛、年代、三立及TVBS都朝非線剪輯及無帶化發展,能將一支新聞完成帶同時提供二個以上的頻道使用,減少帶子播出的錯誤率。研究者曾為TVBS資深導播,長期親身參與新聞台數位化過程,記錄了導播知能與觀念的改變與因應方法,本文也期盼透過深度訪談各台新聞導播,探討新聞導播角色的三個面向: 1、 新聞產製流程最後一道關卡的導播,數位衝擊前後的角色與知能。 2、 數位衝擊的過程中在技術及觀念上如何回應。 3、 未來導播們該如何在心理和角色認知上做調整?並提出導播未來養成訓練的建議。 / Technology has impacted the procedure of news production. Various new innovations have also contributed to concepts, knowledge and continuous influence of TV news producing workers. As a result, it has been competitive in Taiwan news field. According to the development of the digital technology after eliminating analogy techniques, non-linear editing and tapeless production are the goals to be achieved for many companies, such as Formosa TV, ETTV, DaAi TV, Era TV, SetNews and TVBS. Offering one piece of edited news to two or more channels to broadcast reduces the mistakes. As a researcher, I had been a senior director in TVBS. Moreover, not only had I participated the digital procedure but also recorded the awareness of a director, the change of any concept and the methods of adjusting and solving the problems, Through the profound interviews with many directors of different TV companies, It is expected that I would like to discuss three aspects of a news director: 1. Being the last inspector of the news producing. the director’s characters and awareness shift after digital impact, 2. How does a director response to the techniques and the concept during the process of digital impact? 3. How do the directors adjust their roles in mind? There are some suggested solutions in the future program for directors-to-be.

It analyzes the business model before, analog TV, based on the thirty-second commercial and points to difficulties that the old model is adopted in contexts of political, social and economic affairs that takes place in the new Brazilian society. Still, it seeks to demonstrate that other factors contribute to the migration of audience to other platforms for content distribution, refuting the common view that access to broadband internet is the main cause of falling ratings. This study uses an extensive bibliography that goes beyond the specific field of communication and expands the vision of the television industry in Brazil opened by listing weaknesses of the sector and point to possible strategies for the Brazilian television that can adapt to the new structure of communication which is forming in our country. / O presente trabalho analisa os importantes desafios que as novas tecnologias e as transformações na sociedade pós-industrial estão impondo à TV digital brasileira e ao seu modelo de negócios. Tem como principal objetivo realizar uma reflexão sobre a viabilidade financeira das emissoras abertas com a chegada da TV digital. Para tanto, analisa o modelo de negócios anterior, da TV analógica, baseado nos comerciais de trinta segundos e como esta forma poderá ser afetada inviabilizando a estrutura de produção e distribuição de conteúdo pelas emissoras abertas digitais. Ainda, busca evidenciar demais fatores que contribuem para a migração da audiência para outras plataformas de distribuição de conteúdo, refutando o senso comum de que o acesso à internet banda larga é a principal causa da queda dos índices de audiência. Este estudo se utiliza de uma ampla bibliografia que extrapola o campo específico da Comunicação e amplia o olhar sobre a indústria televisiva aberta no Brasil, enumerando fragilidades do setor e apontando possíveis estratégias para que a televisão brasileira possa se adaptar à nova estrutura da comunicação que está se formando em nosso país.

Television, in the way we know it, is also evolving in order to add new services and formats, specially with the advent of Digital TV. In this scenary of digital convergence, collaboration and customization facilities are becoming possible and accessible through Internet and television. The approaching of Web 2.0 enlarges the vision of internet as merely a computer network to a further social vision, made by individuals that are members of communities communicating to each other in a collaborative process. In this work we study the evolution of television after the appearing of technologies emerged from Internet, as well as the convergence among these systems. As a result it was proposed a model which conceives the characteristics that come from this convergence, which was called TV 2.0, and was developed a technological solution to validate it. This solution is called A3TV (from English Anytime, Anywhere and by Anyone TV), which aims to reinforce the experience of TV inside accessed through Internet, making available tools for creation, collaboration and distribution of TV programs. In this tool it is possible to acquire and to manage contents and to create television channels accessible through the Internet. / Nos últimos anos a Internet tem aprimorado a comunicação e os serviços de difusão. A televisão, na forma a qual conhecemos, também tem evoluído no sentido de agregar novos formatos e serviços, especialmente com a chegada da TV Digital. Neste cenário de convergência digital, facilidades de colaboração e personalização se tornam realmente viáveis e acessíveis através da Internet e da televisão. A abordagem da Web 2.0 expande a visão da Internet como mera rede de computadores e serviços, para uma visão social, formada por indivíduos que compõe comunidades que se comunicam e colaboram. No contexto deste trabalho, foi realizado um estudo buscando compreender a evolução da televisão após o aparecimento de tecnologias derivadas da Internet, bem como a necessidade de convergência entre estes meios. Como resultado, foi proposto um modelo que concebe as características provindas desta convergência, chamado de TV 2.0, e foi desenvolvida uma solução tecnológica incorporando as necessidades deste modelo. A solução é chamada de A3TV (do inglês Anytime, Anywhere and by Anyone TV), e visa potencializar a experiência de TV na Internet, ao disponibilizar ferramentas de criação, colaboração e distribuição. Na ferramenta desenvolvida, é possível obter e gerir conteúdos produzidos pelos usuários, e a partir destes constituir a programação de canais de televisão acessíveis através da Internet.

A criação de conteúdos tem recebido especial atenção, associada a padrões com metadados, que enfatizam a reutilização de objetos de aprendizagem (OAs) e a interoperabilidade entre os sistemas de e-Learning. A realidade da TV Digital Interativa no Brasil pode ser considerada como um meio alternativo eficaz e de baixo custo para levar informações às comunidades mais remotas, favorecendo a inclusão digital. A TV Digital oferece novos paradigmas de usabilidade. Nesta direção, este trabalho teve como principal objetivo investigar a viabilidade de implementação, no ambiente da TVDI, das funcionalidades dos ambientes virtuais colaborativos de aprendizagem já implementados para a Web. O sistema Moodle foi selecionado, por ser mundialmente utilizado, com arquitetura em conformidade com o modelo IEEE LTSA (Learning Technology System Architecture) e mecanismos de suporte ao padrão de OAs SCORM. Foram realizadas análises sobre os módulos do Moodle, convergindo o módulo de QUIZ para o ambiente da TVD aberta brasileira. Foram utilizados o emulador XletView e a API Java TV. / The growing adoption of e-Learning systems, both in academia and in corporative areas, is generating many lines of research and works in education. The creation of Learning contents with metadata standards has received special attention. They enhance the reutilizability of Learning Objects (LOs) and the interoperabilility between e-Learning systems. The reality of the Interactive Digital TV (IDTV) in Brazil can be considered as an effective alternative way and of low cost to take information to many remote communities, fostering digital inclusion. The Digital TV offers new paradigms of usability. In this direction, the main goal of this work was investigate the viability of converge the functionalities of Web collaborative virtual environments of learning for the environment of the IDTV. The Moodle system was selected, because it comes world-wide being used, with architecture in according to the model IEEE LTSA (Learning Technology System Architecture) and has mechanisms of support to the standard of LOs SCORM. Analyses on the modules of the Moodle were done. The QUIZ module was converged to the environment of the Brazilian open digital TV. The XletView emulator and the Java TV API were used.

Inovação tecnológica e vantagens competitivas sustentáveis no Setor de Telefonia celular do Brasil: um estudo sobre a interveniência da convergência digital

However there has been no concern on how organizations can establish such relationship and which other variables may exert influence on it. Therefore, the aim of this study is based on such concern and on the Brazilian Cellular Telephone Sector, which is undergoing fast structural changes and experiencing great technological improvement. These changes have triggered the digital convergence, which allows sound, image and data to be transmitted through the same medium. Initially, an analysis of the recent evolution of the Telecommunication Industry, where the studied Sector is located, was conducted to attain better comprehension of the role of the Sector s organizations, operators and cellular manufacturers. Following, a broad conceptual revision on technological innovation, sustainable competitive advantages and consumers value was made to give a solid theoretical support to the study. This study involved a double-folded descriptive field research. In the first part, a qualitative research, 13 specialists from the main organizations of the Sector were interviewed. Content Analysis made it evident that intervenient variables, digital convergence and consumer s value perception, are responsible for the link between technological innovation and the gain of sustainable competitive advantages. Other variables that influence this relationship were also identified: Government regulation, economic conditions and strategic positioning of companies. A descriptive Model was used to represent these relationships. In the second part, a quantitative research was based on a employed sample of 350 respondents for statistical validation of the Model. As part of this research, two pre-tests involving 220 respondents were made. Data were analyzed through univariate and multivariate statistical procedures: Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The study concluded that cellular operators and equipment manufacturers in the Brazilian Cellular Telephone Sector are searching for digital convergence based on technological innovation to obtain innovative products and services to be offered to consumers. Nevertheless, it also became evident that these companies can only achieve sustainable competitive advantages if consumers are able to perceive significant added values. / A relação de causalidade entre o emprego de inovações tecnológicas e a obtenção de vantagens competitivas sustentáveis tem sido observada e estudada em diversas organizações e em diferentes ambientes, sem, no entanto, procurar entender de que modo as organizações estabelecem essa relação e que outras variáveis podem exercer influência, que é o objetivo deste estudo. Ele está focado no Setor de Telefonia Celular brasileiro, no qual a evolução tecnológica é a mola propulsora da contínua transformação, cuja evidência está na convergência digital, que possibilita que som, imagem e dados sejam transmitidos através do mesmo aparelho. Inicialmente, procurou-se analisar a evolução recente da Indústria de Telecomunicações, em que se situa o Setor estudado, para poder compreender o papel das organizações que o compõem, as operadoras e os fabricantes de aparelhos celulares. A seguir, foi feita uma revisão ampla dos conceitos sobre inovação, sobre vantagens competitivas e sobre valor do consumidor, que pudessem dar sustentação teórica aos estudos. O trabalho compreendeu uma pesquisa descritiva, desenvolvida em duas fases. Na primeira fase, qualitativa, foram realizadas entrevistas com 13 especialistas das principais organizações do Setor. Aos dados colhidos foi aplicada a Análise de Conteúdo, que levou à identificação de duas varáveis moderadoras, a convergência digital e a percepção de valor pelos consumidores que representam o vínculo entre a inovação tecnológica e a obtenção de vantagens competitivas sustentáveis. Outras variáveis também foram identificadas e que exercem influência sobre esse vínculo, a regulação Governamental, as Condições Econômicas e a Atitude estratégica das Empresas. Um Modelo esquemático foi usado para registrar e facilitar a visualização dessas relações. Na segunda fase, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa quantitativa junto a uma amostra de 350 consumidores de celulares com o objetivo de validar o Modelo. Na fase preparatória, foram realizados dois pré-testes, envolvendo 220 consumidores. Para a análise dos dados colhidos, foram aplicados procedimentos estatísticos univariados e multivariados; a Análise Fatorial e a Modelagem de Equações Estruturais foram as duas técnicas aplicadas. O estudo concluiu que as operadoras e os fabricantes de aparelhos celulares buscam a convergência digital a partir do emprego de inovações tecnológicas, obtendo serviços e produtos inovadores que são oferecidos aos consumidores. Entretanto, para que essas organizações consigam gerar vantagens competitivas e sustentá-las, é necessário que os consumidores sejam capazes de perceber que os produtos e serviços inovadores apresentem valor agregado significativo.

Apresenta-se um panorama mais amplo das transformações sobre o jornalismo e a indústria de notícias, como as mudanças no mundo do trabalho e no mercado de jornais impressos, e as novas habilidades exigidas dos jornalistas nesse contexto. Traçado um quadro geral, busca-se analisar o cenário brasileiro e o jornal carioca em particular, com o foco específico na Editoria Rio. Foram analisadas as principais estratégias adotadas por O Globo desde a década de 1980 até os dias atuais e o reflexo dessa transição sobre a rotina da redação. Para isso, foram utilizadas informações disponibilizadas pelo próprio jornal e entrevistas feitas com jornalistas que vivenciaram essas transformações. Chegou-se à conclusão que as novas condições de produção oferecem mais limitações do que potencialidades para o trabalho jornalístico por estarem fortemente fundamentadas em uma cobrança por mais produtividade. As hipóteses que indicavam um afastamento dos profissionais das ruas e o enfraquecimento do gênero reportagem também se confirmaram. / This study investigates the consequences of digital convergence and the development of new technologies in the news production process in the newspaper O Globo. It presents a broad overview of the changes in journalism and the news industry, in general, such as the restructuring of the job market, changes in the newspaper business and the new skills required of journalists in this context. Drawing a big picture, we seek to analyze the Brazilian scenario, with a specific focus on the O Globo and its local news coverage. The main strategies adopted by O Globo from the 1980s to the present day and the reflection of this transition were analyzed on the routine of the newsroom. For this, were used information provided by the newspaper itself and interviews with journalists who experienced these changes. We conclude that the new production conditions offer more limitations than potential for journalism because they are strongly based on a demand for more productivity. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This thesis, carried out at the Graduate Program in Education in the research line Formation, Knowledge and Professional Development, addresses educators' self (trans)formation in the culture of digital convergence from the perspective of a dialogical-affective epistemology. The overall objective is to investigate experiences of integration with digital technologies and the WEB in the Education major courses at the Federal University of Santa Maria. The specific objectives are to: a) characterize the new generation of pre-service teachers in the culture of convergence; b) examine official documents that support the Education major course in terms of its approximation to the concept of a culture of digital and technological convergence; c) map experiences of integration with digital technologies in Education majors; d) identify facilitating elements for integrating the culture of convergence and the dialogical-affective epistemology in Education majors. The methodological process involved the triangulation of information from the literature review, document analysis, an exploratory study using a Google Drive form and narrative reconstruction designed from the educational spiral approach. The theoretical conceptual definition was based on the concepts of teacher education, culture of digital convergence and the Education major program. The political-pedagogical project (PPP) of the undergraduate Education programs are aligned with official documents. However, the PPP offers few considerations regarding the digital culture as a curricular reference for the education of pre-service teachers. We infer that this shows a detachment from the culture of the new generation, which is an important aspect that is also highlighted in the Education major national curricular guidelines. In the Education major at UFSM, few teachers integrate technology into their teaching practices. Therefore, we believe that teachers need to overcome the fear of integrating digital technologies and the WEB to protagonize this paradigmatic rupture through their own conduct. Pedagogy in the digital culture / Esta dissertação, desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação (PPGE), Linha de pesquisa 1 - Formação, Saberes e Desenvolvimento Profissional, tem como temática central a auto(trans)formação do pedagogo na cultura da convergência digital, sob a perspectiva da epistemologia dialógico-afetiva. O objetivo geral é investigar experiências de integração das tecnologias digitais e da WEB desenvolvidas nos cursos presenciais de licenciatura em Pedagogia da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Decorrente, os objetivos específicos são: a) Caracterizar as novas gerações de ensinantes-aprendentes na cultura de convergência; b) Analisar os documentos legais que subsidiam os cursos presenciais de licenciatura em pedagogia quanto à aproximação do conceito de cultura de convergência digital e tecnológica; c) Mapear experiências de integração das tecnologias digitais nos cursos de pedagogia; d) Identificar elementos facilitadores para a integração da cultura de convergência e da epistemologia dialógico-afetiva nos cursos de pedagogia. O processo metodológico envolveu a triangulação das informações, a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica, da análise documental, do estudo exploratório com formulário Google Drive e das reconstruções narrativas docentes, concebidas a partir da espiral investigativo-formativa. A definição teórico-conceitual foi construída a partir dos conceitos: formação de professores, cultura de convergência digital e Curso de Pedagogia. Os Projetos Político-Pedagógicos dos cursos encontram-se em consonância com os documentos legais analisados, contudo, inferimos que pelo fato dos referidos PPP considerarem minimamente a cultura da convergência digital como referência curricular na formação do futuro pedagogo, demonstra distanciamento da referência cultural das novas gerações, sendo este um aspecto importante destacado nas DCN para os Cursos de Pedagogia. No âmbito das Pedagogias/UFSM, poucos docentes integram as tecnologias em suas práticas pedagógicas. Portanto, consideramos que os professores necessitam superar o receio em integrar as tecnologias digitais e a WEB para protagonizarem essa ruptura paradigmática a partir do próprio comportamento.

網路、智慧型手機普及後,國內媒體環境近年驟變,過去稱霸社會主要輿論導向的老字號報紙力求轉型,全力在網路上發展即時新聞,企圖迎合網路時代越來越多變的閱聽人樣貌。傳統媒體彷彿罹患即時新聞焦慮症,將即時新聞作為轉型的第一步。   這是一個傳統媒體轉型的戰國時代,報紙、電視無不改變經營策略,新媒體的出現,看似帶來更多自由、多元、開放的選擇,打破過去由傳統媒體壟斷的資訊,卻因資訊爆炸,同時產生了更多資訊焦慮。焦慮對新聞界而言,不僅是有史以來最大的一場洪水,更像這個時代特有的流行病,面對不確定的未來,感到焦慮的不只是媒體本身,還包括閱聽人。   本文聚焦於報紙記者在面臨轉型的過程中所產生的即時新聞焦慮,並呼應現代人在資訊爆炸時代中所面臨的資訊焦慮,進一步探討未來可能的解決之道,並預想未來透過海量資料分析及群眾力量所發展出來的智慧,有機會運用在新聞上,將過量的重複資訊透過篩選加以刪除,找到新的新聞表現形態,讓新聞能更加貼近事件真實,讓資訊的出現不再只是加法,而是增加減法機制,朝更正確的方向邁進。   劇本背景設定在2016年,傳統媒體面對新媒體的到來仍在找尋轉型方式,故事主角由傳統報紙記者試圖揭發一起台鐵連續弊案,探討傳統新聞定義、資訊蒐集方式,與過去大不相同的可能性,記者在數位匯流時代的工作方式轉變以及即時新聞焦慮症,進一步呼應整個社會對於資訊不確定性的焦慮,並預言新聞未來的可能發展類型。以劇本為表現方式,意在期盼對於新媒體的未來發展,在媒體型態不斷革命的今天,能有更多的想像及展現空間,找到更多的可能。 / As the network, smart phones and other mobile devices are booming in recent year, there are dramatic changes in domestic mass media. In attempt to cater to increasingly diverse audiences in the Internet era, old-branded newspapers, dominating the main public opinion in the past, is developing real-time news on the Internet thoroughly. Those traditional mass media corporations seem to suffer from anxiety disorders of real-time news competition, and consequently conclude that real-time news should be the first step for them to transform. In this war of transforming traditional media, newspaper companies and broadcasting television all have to change their strategies. It has seemed to bring more free, pluralistic, and open-minded choices since brand new media emerging. In spite of breaking through the way of getting information, information explosion has turned people into deep anxiety for getting it. Anxiety is regarded as an epidemic, partucularly in this era. Facing uncertain future, it does not only make media anxious, but also the audience. This article emphasizes on journalists who felt anxious about real-time news while they encountered the transformation of media. Meanwhile, it describes information anxiety among modern people. This article further figures out possible solutions, and assumes the mechanism of news in the future. It includes two traits, the big data analysis and crowdsourcing intelligence, as for the mechanism of news. The more appropriate form of news can be developed not only on the way of accumulating information, but also the screening of removing repeated information. Thus, we could be much closer to reality. Presented via the form of a script writing and based on a story in the year of 2016, the script describes that traditional media is struggling to figure out a way toward successful transformation, while facing the confrontation of the new media. The main character of the story, a newspaper journalist, tried to uncover a scandal of Taiwan Railway Administration. By following the journalist's work, this article discusses about definition of traditional news, the way of collecting information, and the differences how journallists are working in the digital convergence era, reflecting the entire society's anxiety toward uncertainties of information. This article also tries to predict possible development of news in the future by storytelling. In this continuing evolution of media nowadays, we hope that society can embrace more imagination and possibilities.
