Esta análise terá como referência os fundamentos das seguintes abordagens teóricas: Planejamento Estratégico em universidades, Avaliação Institucional de universidades, Critérios de Excelência como preconizados pelo Prêmio da Qualidade no Serviço Público (PQSP), e, Medição do Desempenho Global como estudada pela Fundação Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade (FPNQ). Em função dessas abordagens serão apresentados os aspectos positivos e as oportunidades de melhoria do processo em análise, seguidas de uma proposta de estruturação desse processo em ciclos de melhoria contínua a fim de torná-lo uma prática permanente de gestão na administração central da Unicam / Abstract: This study analyzes the strategic planning process being implemented in the University central administration, examining the author's experience as part of its managerial staff. This analysis adopted as reference the fundaments of the following theoretical approaches: Strategic Planning in the Universities, Institutional Evaluation in the Universities, Criteria of the Excellence as preconized by the Quality Award in the Public Service (Prêmio da Qualidade no Serviço Público-PQSP) and Measurement of the Global Performance, according to the National Quality Award Foundation (Fundação Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade - FPNQ). The results of the analysis show the positive points and the improvement opportunities of the process being analyzed, subsidizing the proposition of a process model of strategic planning structured on continuous improvement cycles, targeting the establishment of a permanent managing practice for the central administration of Unicam / Mestrado / Gestão da Qualidade Total / Mestre Profissional em Engenharia Mecanica

A dissertação tem por objetivo identificar os critérios de excelência e Boas Práticas comuns entre as diversas premiações, além de identificar e comparar a percepção de alunos e docentes, em relação às boas práticas de qualidade na gestão de uma escola pública do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Como proposta metodológica, será utilizada pesquisa bibliográfica, exploratória e documental, através de artigos do portal CAPES, anais de congressos, dissertações e teses, bem como a análise de um estudo de caso. Como resultado preliminar, espera-se extrair um parâmetro de Boas Práticas que contribua para Instituições de Ensino construírem seus próprios diagnósticos para melhor atender os envolvidos / Education is the basis for the society, so it is mandatory that educational institutions present quality. This paper intends to present how Excellence Criteria can contribute in order to improve the process in Educational Institutions. For methodological proposal, it will be used literature, exploratory, and documentary research, based on CAPES website articles, annals of congresses, dissertations and theses, as well as a case study analysis. As a preliminary result, it is expected to elaborate a pattern of Good Practices in order to contribute with Educational Institutions so they can build their own models and better serving the people involved

This thesis deals with the company's performance, its measurement and increase. The theoretical section provides insights from literature and further on this base an analytic and proposal part follows. The analytical part contains particularly introduction of the company, its activities and strategic and financial analysis of the company. The proposal part deals with the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard in the analysed company.

Abstract The role of higher education as an essential component of the productive economy has been emphasized in the 21stcentury, resulting in a constant need to demonstrate compliance and excellence to various stakeholders. To achieve this, a large variety of internal and external evaluation processes have been developed. However, to connect these evaluations with continuous improvement has often proved challenging due to factors arising from organizational complexity. This compilation dissertation examines how various quality evaluations in higher education could be integrated in a meaningful and synergistic manner. Integration is analyzed both horizontally across the three missions of the university, as well as vertically ranging from external evaluations to self-assessment. The four research articles each support this whole from a different viewpoint. The results of the articles are complemented by a literature review of chosen relevant topics on quality management and evaluation in higher education. The results of this work suggest that a planned process of evaluations starting from the institution level could help evaluations build upon each other and to drive continuous improvement. A holistic view on evaluation and evaluation criteria could be of use in avoiding sub-optimization and ensuring that issues such as stakeholder engagement and societal impact are included in evaluations. The integration of evaluations would constitute a part of integrating an institution’s management system and advance unity of effort. The ubiquitous concept of excellence can be seen as linking factor in integration, and an excellence award model was used as an example of a holistic evaluation framework. The theoretical contribution of this study contributes in the discussion regarding quality evaluation, excellence and the integration of management activities in higher education. For practitioners this dissertation work provides both practical tools arising from the results of the research articles, as well as a synthesis of theoretical and practical issues that should be accounted for when developing quality evaluation approaches in institutions of higher education. / Tiivistelmä Korkeakoulujen rooli tuottavan talouden olennaisena osana on korostunut uudella vuosituhannella. Tästä on seurannut jatkuva tarve osoittaa vaatimustenmukaisuutta ja erinomaisuutta eri sidosryhmille. Tämän seurauksena on kehitetty suuri määrä erilaisia sisäisiä ja ulkoisia arviointiprosesseja. Kuitenkin näiden prosessien yhdistäminen toiminnan jatkuvan kehittämiseen on usein osoittautunut haastavaksi johtuen organisatorisesta monimutkaisuudesta. Tässä kokoomaväitöskirjassa tarkastellaan, kuinka erityyppisiä laadunarviointeja korkeakoulutuksessa voitaisiin integroida mielekkäällä ja synergistisellä tavalla. Integraatiota tarkastellaan niin horisontaalisesti yliopiston kolmen tehtävän läpi, kuin myös vertikaalisesti ulkoisista arvioinneista itsearviointiin. Väitöskirjaan liittyvät tutkimusartikkelit tukevat tätä tutkimusongelmaa eri näkökulmista. Kirjallisuuskatsaus tukee artikkelien tuloksia valittujen laatujohtamisen ja arvioinnin aiheiden tarkastelun kautta. Tämän työn tuloksien mukaan suunnitelmallinen arviointikokonaisuus lähtien korkeakoulutasolta voisi tukea arviointien tulosten kumuloitumista ja edistää jatkuvaa kehittämistä. Holistinen näkökulma arviointiin ja arviointikriteereihin voisi ehkäistä osaoptimointia ja varmistaa, että seikkoihin kuten sidosryhmien osallistuminen ja yhteiskunnallinen vaikuttavuus huomioidaan arvioinneissa. Arviointien integrointi tukisi osaltaan korkeakoulun johtamisjärjestelmän integrointia ja edistäisi yhteisiin tavoitteisiin pyrkimistä. Erinomaisuuden yleistynyttä käsitettä voidaan pitää yhdistävänä tekijänä integraation toteutumisessa, ja siihen perustuvaa laatupalkintomallia käytettiin työssä esimerkkinä holistisesta arviointimallista. Väitöskirjatyön teoreettinen kontribuutio liittyy korkeakoulujen laadunarvioinnin, erinomaisuuden ja johtamistoimien integroinnin tieteelliseen keskusteluun. Käytännön työn kannalta tutkimustulokset tarjoavat käytännön työkaluja artikkelien tulosten kautta, sekä yhdistelmän teoreettisista ja käytännön seikoista jotka tulisi huomioida korkeakoulun laadunarviointia kehitettäessä.

La présente thèse est consacrée, sur la base d'une approche historique, aux Sports dans le Maroc contemporain. Elle traite plus particulièrement de l'évolution de l'athlétisme féminin. Son cadre chronologique se situe entre 1956, date d'accession du pays à l'indépendance et 2016 (Jeux Olympiques de Rio). Au nombre des problématiques autour desquelles elle s'article figurent en particulier les conditions générales prévalant dans le pays, notamment celles des femmes, de leur présence dans la sphère publique (dans l'accession que lui donne Habermas), et les difficultés auxquelles elles sont confrontées du fait, entre autres, de préjugés et de stéréotypes culturels et sociaux. De manière plus spécifique, sont également examinées les principales phases de l'évolution de cet athlétisme, les modalités de sa pratique effective (tels les entraînements et les compétitions), les encouragements prodigués notamment par l'Etat en la matière et ayant facilité l'émergence d'athlètes féminines, le palmarès obtenu par une élite à divers niveaux, et comment certaines d'entre elles perçoivent rétrospectivement leurs parcours sportifs. Les récits et les témoignages oraux de 21 athlètes représentent précisément une part substantielle du matériau sur lequel se fonde cette thèse. Ils ont permis de compenser quelque peu la quasi-absence de documents d'archives officielles et celle d'études académiques traitant de l'histoire du sport au Maroc. En raison de leur dimension personnelle et subjective, ces témoignages et la mémoire qui les véhicule demeurent problématiques à maints égards. D'autant que l'auteure de cette étude, en sus de sa condition de femme, est elle-même une ancienne athlète et a fait partie du staff de l'Institut National d'Athlétisme. L'étude, qui se veut une contribution à l'histoire du Temps Présent, s'est cependant efforcée, en dépit de tous ces obstacles, d'analyser et d'évaluer l'évolution de l'athlétisme féminin au Maroc, avec ses performances et ses phases de régression ou d'effacement, depuis ses débuts jusqu'à aujourd'hui / This study deals with Sports in contemporary Morocco on the grounds of a historical standpoint. It focalises more particularly upon the gender dimension of Athletics during the period starting in 1956 (independence of Morocco) and ending in 2016 (Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games). Some major issues are addressed in this respect. This is the case of the general conditions prevailing in the country as regards women’s rights, their presence in the public sphere (as defined by Habermas) and the difficulties they have to face because of cultural and social prejudice and stereotypes. Along with these conditions, the study analyses the main stages, modalities (trainings) and “incentives” that have paved the way for the emergence of female athletes, the achievements of an elite at various levels, and how some them retrospectively perceive their sporting trajectories.Narratives and oral testimonies of twenty-one selected athletes have in fact provided a large part of the row materiel relied upon in this thesis. The use of this sort of data helps compensating, up to a certain extent, the lack of substantial official archives and specific academic studies dealing with sport’s history in Morocco. However, because of their personal and subjective dimension, testimonies and memory remain problematic in many respects Additional complications are due to the particular “statute” of the author of this thesis - having been herself an athlete and member of the National Athletic Training Institute.Despite these obstacles, the study, which the author would like to consider as a contribution to the historiography dealing with Morocco’s recent past and “immediate history”, tried nevertheless to analyse and assess the various stages that Athletics, performed by girls and women in this country, went through, with its ups and downs, from its early beginning to nowadays

The master thesis is focused on efficiency evaluation of company IN-EKO TEAM, s. r. o. The theoretical part contains the relevant information from professional publications, basic concepts are explained here and models supporting business management, business process modeling models, and models emphasizing self-evaluation are presented. The second part is an efficiency evaluation by using the selected START Plus model. The key part is the suggestion part in which measures will be proposed to improve the efficiency of examined subject.

The master´s thesis is focused on the performance evaluation for the MIKROP ČEBÍN a.s. company using the EFQM Excellence Model. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the definition of performance and the ways in which it can be measured and evaluated. The current situation of the company is characterized in the analytical part. The evaluation is performed according to the START Model questionnaire, which is derived from the EFQM Model of Excellence. The final part contains measures leading to increase the company's performance.

The master’s thesis evaluates the performance of SUEZ CZ a.s. company applying the EFQM Excellence Model and subsequently discusses proposals to improve company’s performance. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part outlines the necessary theoretical bases, that are further used and applied to the chosen company SUEZ CZ a.s. in the second part. Lastly, in the third part, the conducted questionnaire survey is evaluated and measures for improvement in problematic areas are proposed.

This master’s thesis is focused on valuation of effeciency of a particular company. This valuation of effeciency is performed on EFQM Model Excellence. Theoretical part of thesis is focused on description of selected models of valuation of effeciancy. In practical part is selected comapany introduced and included it’s field of business. And on the base of EFQM Excellence Model is valuation of efficiency made. The final part of the thesis is given suggestions for improvement.

The master´s thesis is focused on the performance evaluation of the company S&K PUBLIC, Ltd. The theoretical part explains the term performance and describes the most used approaches of company performance measurement. The analytical part deals with the characteristic of the company and analysis of its current situation. The last part contains the performance evaluation of the company using the START Model, which is based on the principles of The EFQM Excellence Model. In conclusion, there are suggested measures to improve the company performance based on the results of the evaluation.
