Casal nacional: significa??es do corpo e do figurino no telejornalismo

Aquino, Agda Patr?cia Pontes de 31 March 2011 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2014-12-17T15:08:29Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 AgdaPPA_DISSERT.pdf: 1675967 bytes, checksum: 402cbb49fa5d25cd9c487e7e553f73bb (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-03-31 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / The main objective of this study is to investigate the meanings of body and costume as essential components of television journalists aesthetic discourse, as exemplified by the presenters of Jornal Nacional, from Rede Globo. The study is inspired on the paths proposed by semiotics, and combines this approach with other techniques of scientific investigation to identify the meanings of this non-verbal communication form. For that, this work uses the concept of communication proposed by the Palo Alto School s authors, more specifically the concept of Watzlawick et al. (2005), which understands communication like relation and inherent of human beings. The precepts of complex thought and the hologramatic principle of Morin (1990), which value the union and the need to connect the knowledge of elements or parts to that of the systems these parts constitute, is also present in the thinking that guides the work. Throughout the chapters, we elucidate our understanding of body and television as media, and fashion and television journalism as languages. This work approaches a televisual history of Jornal Nacional in order to better understand the aesthetic proposed by television news over time, its presenters and costumes. The elements that are part of the televisual language s expression and content are addressed so that we can better understand the importance of body and presenters costume in this context. Finally, we conduct an analysis of the meanings of television journalism presenters body and costume through their stereotypes, their integration into the fashion cycle and also into the televisual analysis of the most important costume elements of Jornal Nacional s presenter couple: colors, models and accessories. We thus seek to strengthen the understanding of the wardrobe inseparable from the body as communication and detail some of their production understanding processes. The women historical role in brazilian television journalism, as well as masculinization of TV journalism environment are important elements to contextualize televisual language thinking in contemporary society. The investigation covers the origins, concepts, proposals, stereotypes, prejudices, reproductions, naturalizations and reinterpretation of the body and the costume of the presenters through time and the relationship between body, fashion and communication / O objetivo principal deste trabalho ? investigar as significa??es do corpo e do figurino como componentes essenciais do discurso est?tico dos jornalistas de televis?o, exemplificados atrav?s dos apresentadores do Jornal Nacional, da Rede Globo.

Abreu, Priscyla Kelly Vieira 22 February 2017 (has links)
This research covers drawings by the Russian artist Alexandra Exter (1882-1949) for the theater costumes of Salome (1917), Romeo and Juliet (1920) and the science fiction movie Aelita, Queen of Mars (1924). We will make comparative analyzes between Exter's works and works with a thematic focus and visual analogues, mainly from the mid-nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century. The methodological approach is based on researchers such as Carlo Ginsburg and Jorge Coli, who celebrate the studies and practices of Aby Warburg. The purpose is to understand Exter's work both from the avant-garde aspects and from the maintenance of conventional features, whether of content or form. For that, the focus on the visual representation of the female figure became fundamental in this dissertation. We set up the hypothesis that the visual solutions elaborated by Exter for the protagonists of the three works distinguish them from the recurrent representations of these characters, especially through the clothes and gestures. / Dissertação (Mestrado)

Lugar (In) Comum: a parceria de Flávio Império e Fauzi Arap em Pano de Boca / -

Paula de Lima Baraldi 15 December 2015 (has links)
À luz de textos de Foucault, Nise da Silveira, Pirandello, Chevalier e de textos e obras de Fauzi e Flávio, a dissertação aborda sincronicidades e busca similitudes entre o plano ficcional de Pano de Boca e a realidade do teatro paulistano dos anos 1970, além de pôr em cena os lendários teatros Arena e Oficina, e o show Opinião / This dissertation discusses about the partnership between the set and costume designer and visual artist Flavio Império and the playwright-director Fauzi Arap in Pano de Boca, first play written by Arap with a focus on the 1976\'s production, held at the Teatro Treze de Maio, in São Paulo. The text, divided into three levels, presents on the first one two characterscharacters, created by an invisible author, that dialogues with the audience without the use of the \"fourth wall\"; on the second one, an actress blurs the limits between life and art; on the third, a theatrical group decides about the future of the troupe, locked in the fictional plan inside an abandoned Theatre. Pursuant to Foucault, Nise da Silveira, Pirandello, Chevalier, texts and artworks of Fauzi and Flávio, the dissertation deals with synchronicities and searches for similarities between the fictional plan of Pano de Boca and the reality of São Paulo\'s Theatre in 1970\'s and brings into the scene the legendary Theatres Arena and Oficina, and the show Opinião.

Studying the novel Lucíola, by José de Alencar, published in 1862, and the film Lucíola, o anjo pecador (The sinful angel), by Alfredo Sternheim, released in 1975, this dissertation proposes to research an approach to the characterization of the protagonist of the works through their clothing, in the novel, and through their costume, in the film. This is not a study about fashion in the nineteenth century through literature, but, on the contrary, it is a study about a desire to analyze the contributions of fashion to literature and how we situate this dialogue within the literary narrative. Anchored in the descriptions of clothing present in Alencar's novel, the focus of the research is directed to a survey of the garment as text (written and visual), and as such, to investigate the attention given by the author and the film director to this component of language . In developing a platform of study guided by the interface between literature and cinema, it is also intended to outline the development of costume in the process of adapting a literary work, examining the importance of the text as a source of research and its influence on the construction of the costumes used in the film.

Color and costumes are elements of visual language that play an important role in building the narrative of films. In addition to communicating, the costume is essential for the recognition of the characters, since it is able to delimit time, social class, occupation, age, personality and allied colors, help achieve the intended dramatic impact. In O Auto da Compadecida (2000) the chromatic compositions of clothing influence and contribute to the construction of the narrative, transmitting messages and characterizing the characters. A cor e o figurino na construção de personagens na narrativa televisual: um estudo de caso da minissérie Capitu / The color and the costumes in building characters in televisual narrative: a case study of the miniseries Capitu

Leite, Rafaela Bernardazzi Torrens 22 September 2015 (has links)
The present study intends the analysis of the production of meaning in miniseries Capitu (Globo, 2008) based on the use of color and costume in the characterization of the main characters Bento, Capitu and Escobar. Guides this work, the idea that both the use of color and the costume are shown key for structuring the narrative, as to build the visual discourse. By studying these elements sought to explore the construction of televisual narrative considering the inseparable relationship between form and content (BAKHTIN, 2010) in order to understand the visual construction of the three characters mentioned above. It has also been analyzed in the possible correlations between the costumes of the miniseries and the fashion of the period in which settles the romance of Machado de Assis, namely in mid-nineteenth century. The work of theoretical and methodological foundation underwrote us to study language by Bakhtin (2002, 2008, 2010) and Bakhtin / Volochinov (2009), audiovisual language Aumont (1993), Aumont and Marie (2003) and Brown (2012). Pallottini (2012), Mungioli (2013) provide input for context and discussion of brazilian miniseries. In addition, we approach the study of color theory with Guimarães (2000), Pedrosa (2010), Bastos, Farina and Perez (2011) and the foundation of clothing and costumes with Kohler (2009), Chataignier (2010), Lipovetsky (2009) and Leite and Guerra (2002). Because of the essential correlation between form and content that guided the research and analysis, the methodology applied was designed by studying the verb-visual language, highlighting in its composition the visuality of clothes and colors to build senses. The characteristics of the images involved in this research can not be addressed thinking on the edge of it, for his experimentation both in audiovisual language and the narrative construction of the work, it would not fit in closed standards of observation and analysis. Thus, the study sought to explore the miniseries without restricting it to a purely technical analysis, conducting a constant dialogue with the meaning produced by the audiovisual production work. The analysis allowed us to consider color as diegetic constituent element of a televisual poetic and compositional fabric of the analyzed characters. Throughout the miniseries, there are important changes in visual composition, the nuances of characterization of the protagonists emerge not only with a plastic visual function but also with a narrative function.

Um panorama do traje teatral brasileiro na quadrienal de Praga (1967-2015) / A panorama of Brazilian theatrical costume design at the Prague Quadrennial (1967-2015).

Rocha, Rosane Muniz 14 March 2016 (has links)
There are few opportunities to expose a costume design out of the scene in an exhibition in which to reflect on the work created, their process and scenic proposals, both at home and abroad. The largest international exhibition of performance design happens, during the last 58 years, at the Czech Republic and brought together artists, researchers and students from ninety countries in the last edition in 2015. During the Prague Quadrennial (1967-2015), Brazil has been awarded several times, including with the top prize of the PQ: the Golden Triga, in 1995 and 2011. However, the lack of an institution responsible for organizing the country\'s participation causes instability in curatorial forms, as well as lack of funds. This study investigates how the Brazilian theatrical costume design is represented at the international exhibition. A route that is needed to start with the International Biennial of Visual Arts of Theater (1957-1973), an event created as a frame belonging to the Bienal de São Paulo and, after its fifth edition, would raise the Czech exhibition. An unpublished documentation with extensive documentary and iconographic rescue, makes up this thesis and serves as a fundamental object of study to recognize what position the scenic costume has in this twenty editions\' trajectory, built over 58 years, to enable the research hypothesis of this thesis: confirm that, in the history of Brazilian participation at PQ, between 1987 and 2003 - when the representation of the country was in the care of set designer J. C. Serroni - there was some sort of curatorial preference by artists and / or works that led to the reinforcement of stereotypes of the Brazilian culture, highlighted the aesthetic features of the Carnival.

As specific objectives, we demonstrate the relationship between clothing and the characters, explain the symbolism of each piece of clothing, and elucidate the Vincentian context, through the clothing, the conflict between the sacred and the profane, the ideological concepts of the sixteenth century Christians In two acts of religious playwright Portuguese. We point out relevant data from the clothing of the sixteenth century, as well as the theoretical background on allegory. We apply the concept, through clothing, to elucidate the conflict between salvation and damnation of the characters in the context of the pieces. We explain the issue from two allegorical modes stylistic or rhetorical allegory constructive (so to speak) and allegory interpretive or hermeneutic (way of understanding). Object of study by numerous researchers, the machine takes a critical look that demands a closer look. Establishes a visual language as relevant as verbal discourse. Reveals information. Expresses ideas. Represents the social and cultural changes. Allows interactions between society. It expresses identity and behavior. However, we observed that the clothing is not synonymous with acquittal or conviction, but joins the allegorical character of the works of playwright Portuguese, who always point to two conflicting realities: human and divine, the immanent and transcendent, individual ethics and social ethics / Esta dissertação de Mestrado analisa a função alegórica do traje medieval português, no Auto da Barca do Inferno (1517) e no Auto da Alma (1518) de Gil Vicente. Exprime ideias. Representa as mudanças sociais e culturais. Permite interações entre a sociedade. Expressa identidade e comportamento.
