Internet in recent years has changed quite a lot, usual static user interfaces poorly satisfy user's requirements or do not at all. That is why there is a need to analyze a new breed of internet presentation-level technique – rich internet applications (RIA). Main RIA technologies and several internet projects were analyzed in this thesis. Macromedia Flash technology was chosen because of its flexibility, multiplatform implementation, rich user experience, good integration among various server technologies. An experimental system named Ferry transport booking system was built using Macromedia Flash technology and implemented with Microsoft server technologies. Experimental research of this project is described; a comparative analysis of rich internet application and simple static interface advantages is provided.

The aim of this study is to answer the questions: Are abilities to use modern information technologies gives new possibilities for children who have visual disability? Can use of this technologies help to impel integration and inclusion process and decrease social isolation? 82 pupils were involved to the research and all they are visually impacted. After that research we can do such main conclusions: 1. Modern information technologies help to communicate with friends and family, who are far away from them and get more information. In this way technologies decrease social isolation. 2. Learning in special school separates children from their family and community. About half of children wish to learn in general school and live at home. 3. Modern information technologies help to find new friends and choose new and more various professions.

Paskutinis dešimtmetis pasižymi dinamiškais pokyčiais. Kinta žmonių gyvenimo stilius. Pasaulis įžengė į informacijos amžių, kuriame pagrindinį vaidmenį vaidina žinios. Sparčiai formuojasi informacinė visuomenė. Vis daugiau žmonių, dirbdami savo kasdienį darbą, naudojasi informacinėmis technologijomis. Nuolatos tobulėjančios technologijos siūlo naujus problemų sprendimo būdus, virtualios mokymosi aplinkos siūlo naujas mokymosi galimybes, internetas tampa vis aktualesniu kasdieninio gyvenimo elementu tiek darbo, tiek informacijos paieškos terpe. Šiame kontekste informacinės technologijos vis labiau veikia mokymo ir mokymosi metodus, daro poveikį ne tik mokymo turiniui, bet ir visam ugdymo procesui. Nagrinėjant ugdymo įstaigų vadovų ir pedagogų informacinių technologijų naudojimo kompetencijas buvo atliktas tyrimas, kurio metu stengiamasi atskleisti esamą pedagogų ir mokyklos vadovų padėtį žinių amžiuje, ištyrinėti jų informacinių technologijų naudojimo kompetenciją, išsiaiškinti, su kokiomis pagrindinėmis problemomis susiduria šiandieniniai pedagogai ir mokyklų vadovai, numatyti kompetencijų tobulinimo galimybės. Tyrimo išvadose konstatuota, kad informacinių technologijų naudojimo kompetencija, būdama bendrosios kompetencijos dalimi yra žinių, gebėjimų, požiūrių, vertybių, asmenybės komplekso išraiška, atsiskleidžianti asmens veikloje ir turinti įtakos sėkmingiems veiklos rezultatams. Not an industrial but information and command in adequate benefiting from it becomes a new currency in our time. The latter situation has become an urgent one due to constantly improving information technologies that offer new ways of problem solution, determine new contents of education, open new training and learning methods. Perceiving that one of the most important characteristics of a modern manager and teacher becomes the ability to efficiently adapt information technologies in practice, the research problem has been formulated: what are the information communication competencies of managers and teachers of training institutions. In order to examine this problem, a research on competencies of the managers and teachers of training institutions has been conducted, the purpose of which is to examine competencies of managers and teachers of training institutions and to envisage the possibilities for their improvement. Magistro darbo objektas – elektroninių informacinių technologijų (toliau – informacinių technologijų) integracija. Darbo tikslas – informacinių technologijų integracijos proceso analizė bei tendencijų išskyrimas. Pagrindiniai darbo uždaviniai: aptarti požiūri į informacinių technologijų integraciją, kuriuo vadovaujamasi darbe; nustatyti informacinių technologijų integracijos barjerus; išskirti informacinių technologijų integracijos lygius; atlikti informacinių technologijų integracijos analizę pagal išskirtus informacinių technologijų integracijos lygius. Informacinių technologijų integracija yra ypatingai dinamiška ir sudėtinga sritis, todėl būtina ją nuolat nagrinėti. Būtent dėl šios priežasties tiek mokslinėje, tiek populiariojoje literatūroje vyrauja skirtingi šio proceso nagrinėjimo būdai bei požiūriai į jį. Dažnu atveju apsiribojama vienu ar keliais proceso aspektais arba kalbama ypatingai abstrakčiai, naudojamos skirtingos proceso sampratos ir apibrėžimai, trūksta standartizacijos, vyrauja populiarusis požiūris į integracijos procesą, kuris nėra išsamus ir negali atsakyti į visus iškylančius teorinius klausimus. Purpose – information technology process analysis and exclusion of trends. Main tasks: discussion of views towards information technology process and the exclusion of the view used in the work; find and examine information technology integration barriers; separate information technology integration levels; examine information technology integration according to the separated integration levels. Information technology integration is extremely dynamic and complex area, there fore it needs to be examined all the time. Due to that existing different views and analysis of the process among different specialists - most of the time process’s analysis is limited to one or few aspects or it is analyzed abstractly. Most of the time in different analysis types different views and terms occur, lack of standardization is obvious, popular view, which can’t answer all theoretical questions that come out to surface, is dominant in the area. Work‘s main propositions, which are proven in the work: two partially separated integration levels exist; different trends can be applied to them; process of substitution is the way of interaction between these two levels. Due to the high amounts of information technology, only electronic ones are analyzed in the work. Krašto apsaugos sistemos personalo duomenų analizės ir kontrolės posistemė / Personnel Data Analysis and Control Subsystem of National Defence System

Successful factor of the performance of each company or organisation is a well and adequately organised management and record keeping of personnel. At present, the staff administrating the personnel records of the National defence system of Lithuania (hereinafter - NDS) for recording and analysis of personnel data users Baltpers information system for personnel account for NDS. The analysis carried out in the Master‘s paper proved that the data controls and functions implemented in Baltpers system do not correspond with certain needs of the NDS personnel specialists. The Master‘s paper suggests practical implementation of the specific needs of the users. It suggests applying Visual Basic for Application programming language with the help of which is easily assimilated and inexpensive composition of software of personnel data analysis and controlling subsystem. Such system might be used by personnel specialists of NDS, as well as military finance and logistics specialists, who use personnel data for carrying out their tasks. This subsystem will provide an opportunity for users to verify the personnel ID, form top-down organisational title of the NDS, calculate personnel work standing, analyse and check staff occupation on the basis of selected survey parameters.

Realized in database system and enforced testing process in this database of integrity constraits. Introduces users helpfull methodology about peration issues, possibilities and methods. Managed system of integrity constains creating templates. In some ways program generates PL/SQL code by users defined variables.

Informacinė sistema "Lietuvos Respublikos jūrų laivų registras" / Information system "The sea ship register of the Republic of Lithuania"

This document contains the full specification of the sea ship register. The objective is to create computerized information system of the existing sea ship register. This register is of primary type among the other registers of the Republic of Lithuania and it is for gathering and storing the ship data, the data connected to the ship and generating the unique identification code, which will be used in other state registers and information system to uniquely identify the ship. During the creation process of this register, the project drivers, activity diagrams, user requirements, functional and non-functional system requirement specifications, project constraints and other specifications and diagrams were analyzed, produced and documented in this documentation. The detailed specifications of database objects (datafiles, tables, functions, procedures, packages, triggers and etc.), forms, reports and libraries were generated and attached here. The information system of the sea ship register helps personel to easily enter and store the required data into the database, to quickly find the needed ship by various search criterias. The register provides all the required certificates and other reports in printable version. The register is fully functional and officially put in use since 2006-01-01.

Šiame darbe yra nagrinėjamas informacinių technologijų taikymas teisinėje praktikoje trimis kryptimis: 1) informacinės technologijos, kurios gali būti naudojamos kasdieniame teisiniame darbe, pradedant informacijos paieška, elektroninių notaro paslaugų diegimo galimybėmis bei baigiant komandiniu teisiniu darbu, kurį skatina šiuolaikinės informacinės technologijos; 2) informacinės technologijos, kurios yra naudojamos teisinių institucijų veikloje, konkrečiai aptariamos tos technologijos, kurias naudoja teismai ir valstybės registrai. Teismuose naudojamos informacinės technologijos analizuojamos tiek per Europos Sąjungos elektroninio teisingumo erdvės kūrimo iniciatyvą, tiek per Lietuvoje vykdomą teismų kompiuterizavimo projektą (LITEKO). Lietuvos registrų sistema taip pat aktyviai kuria savo informacines sistemas, kurių kokybė jau yra įvertinta ir tarptautiniu mastu. 3) informacinės technologijos, kurios įgalina teikti elektronines teisines paslaugas privatiems asmenims, aptariant tiek Lietuvos iniciatyvas šioje srityje (Teisingumo ministerija ir tinklas “Skynet”), tiek užsienio valstybių (Australijos “LawMail”). / The author analyses the application of information technology in legal practice through three dimensions: 1. information technologies applied by the lawyer in his everyday work: starting with the search of the legal information, the possibilities of installation of the electronic notary services and finishing with legal group work, supported by information technologies; 2. information technologies applied in the activities of the legal institutions, concretely discussing these technologies, which are being used by the court system and the state register system. The technologies used in the court system is being discussed through the initiative of the establishment of the electronic justice space in the European Union, and also through Lithuanian court computerization project (LITEKO). Lithuanian state registers system as well is actively establishing it own information systems, the quality of which was evaluated in the international level; 3. information technologies applied in order to supply electronic legal services to the private persons, discussing Lithuanian initiatives in this field (the ministry of Justice and the net “Skynet”) and the practice of foreign countries (Australian “LawMail” project).
