As garotas (des)amélias : acolhimento institucional e sexualidade

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This research presents a study regarding the institucionalised practices that covers the topics of sexuality in a children and youth´s shelter located in Aracaju. In order to develop the research, are used reports of the experiences that took place on the mentioned institute. This reports give life to the (Des)Amélias girls. Listing this experiences as problematization possibilities of practices that envolved the researched shelter and beyond it, this research investigate the following aspects: the relation between youth sexuality and youth protection policies; the institutional shelter through sexual repression actualization; sexuality as a tool for the analysis of the institutional shelter; the existence of other relations, besides the ones mentioned, with sexuality and the practices experienced by the ones led into children and youth´s shelter. In pursuance of the mentioned research problems, it was necessay to take a look in readings regarding public policies based on children and teenagers, from authors that traces the social history of youth in Brazil. It was also taken into consideration the histoty of sexuality, the course of psychology, psychoanalysis, psychiatry and sexuality, as well as the concepts of gender, sexual repression, ethics, moral, judicialization and institutionalization of sexuality. / A presente pesquisa traz o estudo a respeito de práticas institucionalizadas que abrangem o tema da sexualidade em uma entidade de acolhimento para crianças e adolescentes, situada na cidade de Aracaju. Para elaboração da proposta, são utilizados relatos de experiência ocorridos no campo institucional mencionado. Estes dão vida às garotas (Des)Amélias. Ao elencá-las enquanto possibilidade de problematização de práticas que envolviam a entidade de acolhimento pesquisada e para além dela, o trabalho indaga-se sobre os seguintes aspectos. Sejam eles: a relação entre sexualidade infantil e políticas de proteção à infância; o acolhimento institucional a partir de atualizações da repressão sexual; a sexualidade enquanto ferramenta de análise do acolhimento institucional, bem como a existência de outros modos de relação para além dos estabelecidos com a sexualidade e as práticas que a percorrem por aqueles que são dirigidos às instituições de acolhimento para crianças e adolescentes. Para pensar os referidos problemas de pesquisa, lançam-se olhares sobre leituras a respeito de políticas públicas voltadas para crianças e adolescentes, a partir de autores que delineiam a história social da infância no Brasil. Também são lançados olhares sobre a história da sexualidade, percursos da psicologia, psicanálise, psiquiatria e sexualidade, bem como sobre os conceitos de gênero, repressão sexual, ética, moral, judicialização e institucionalização da sexualidade.

Analyzes in an open and exploratory as seniors who reside in long-stay institutions in the municipalities of Arapiraca-AL and Caruaru-PE represent old age and life institutionalized. Therefore, traces a characterization of the process of demographic transition and seeks to place the impact of this process on the expansion of demand for formal long-term care in Brazil and especially in cities where the institutions surveyed included. Observes how the process of demographic transition is accompanied by a decrease in the availability of family caregivers and how the expansion of demand for long-term care requires a redefinition of the distribution of roles among family, society and state in the provision of care. Discusses the approach of Norbert Elias about the process of concealment of death and dying that would have developed in northern European societies in the course of the civilizing process and seeks to show how dependent old age still produce feelings of shame and embarrassment that hinder identification with the old and the dying. Finally, assess how the subjects represent the old age and the life institutionalized and inquire about the possibility of reconciling the representations produced in the context of characterization of the dying of loneliness that is presented in the Elia’s work / FAPEAL - Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Alagoas / Esse estudo analisa de forma aberta e exploratória como idosos que residem em instituições de longa permanência nos municípios de Arapiraca-Al e Caruaru-PE representam a velhice e a vida institucionalizada. Para tanto, traça uma caracterização do processo de transição demográfica e procura situar os impactos desse processo na ampliação da demanda por cuidados formais de longa duração no Brasil e em especial nas cidades onde figuram as instituições pesquisadas. Observa como o processo de transição demográfica é acompanhado de uma diminuição da disponibilidade de cuidadores familiares e como a ampliação da demanda por cuidados de longa duração exige uma redefinição da distribuição de papéis entre família, sociedade, mercado e Estado na oferta desses cuidados. Discorre sobre a abordagem eliasiana acerca do processo de ocultação da morte e dos moribundos que teria se desenvolvido nas sociedades norte europeias no curso do processo civilizador e procura indicar como a velhice dependente ainda produziria sentimentos de vergonha e embaraço que dificultariam a identificação com os velhos e os moribundos. Por fim, avalia como os sujeitos da pesquisa representaram a velhice e a vida institucionalizada e inquire sobre a possibilidade de compatibilizar as representações produzidas no quadro de caracterização da solidão dos moribundos que é apresentado na obra eliasiana.

According to the literature, institutionalized individuals suffering from mental disorders represent a group at risk for acquisition of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. In this sense, the present study aimed to investigate the molecular and seroepidemiological profile of HBV infection in a population of institutionalized mentally disturbed in state of Goiás. Blood samples from 333 patients were collected in period of July/2011 to January/2012, and the samples were subjected to enzyme immunoassay for detection of HBV markers infection (HBsAg, anti-HBs, anti-HBc) using commercial kits. The overall prevalence of HBV infection was 12.9%, with an index of isolated positivity for anti-HBc marker of 4.2%. Only three individuals were positive for the marker of active HBV infection (HBsAg) resulting in a 0.9% positivity. Only 4.2% (14/333) of the study population had serologic evidence of previous vaccination against HBV and the susceptibility to HBV, characterized by the absence of any marker, was observed in 82.9% of the population. Multivariate analysis identified sex (male) and the inpatient unit - F (male patients, young adults, wheelchair users) and G (males patients, adults, psychiatric) - as a factor associated with HBV infection. In addition, we proceeded the HBV-DNA detection in the samples with profile anti-HBc alone (N = 14), HBsAg positive (N = 3), anti-HBc/anti-HBs (N = 26) and those anti-HBs alone (N = 14). Thus, 57 samples were subjected to PCR. Three samples with profile anti-HBc alone, one anti-HBc/anti-HBs and one anti-HBs alone were positive for HBV-DNA, resulting in an index of occult HBV infection of 9.2% (5/54). Phylogenetic analysis of HBV-DNA positive samples identified all as genotype A. The results show a significant prevalence of HBV infection in this population, highlighting the need for improvement in strategies for HBV infection prevention and control, as well as a continuous monitoring of HBV positive patients. / A hepatite B representa um grande problema de saúde pública no Brasil e no mundo, devido ao número de indivíduos acometidos e às complicações resultantes das formas aguda e crônica da infecção. Indivíduos institucionalizados portadores de doença mental representam um grupo em risco para aquisição da infecção pelo vírus da hepatite B (VHB). Neste sentido, o presente estudo objetivou investigar o perfil soroepidemiológico e molecular da infecção pelo VHB em uma população institucionalizada portadora de doença mental do Estado de Goiás. Foi realizada a coleta sanguínea de 333 pacientes, no perídodo de Julho/2011 a Janeiro/2012, sendo as amostras submetidas ao ensaio imunoenzimático para deteção dos marcadores de infecção pelo VHB (HBsAg, anti-HBs, anti-HBc) utilizando kits comerciais. A prevalência global da infecção pelo VHB foi de 12,9%, com um índice de positividade isolada para o marcador anti-HBc de 4,2%. Apenas três indivíduos foram reagentes para o marcador de infecção ativa pelo VHB (HBsAg), resultando em uma positividade de 0,9%. Somente 4,2% (14/333) da população estudada apresentaram evidência sorológica de vacinação prévia contra o vírus da hepatite B e, a suscetibilidade ao VHB, caracterizada pela ausência de qualquer marcador, foi observada em 82,9% da população. A análise multivariada mostrou o sexo (masculino) e as unidades de internações – F (pacientes do sexo masculino, adultos jovens, cadeirantes) e G (pacientes do sexo masculino, adultos, psiquiátricos) – como fatores associados à infecção pelo VHB. Em adição, procedeu-se a pesquisa do VHB-DNA nas amostras com perfil anti-HBc isolado (N=14), HBsAg positivas (N=3), anti-HBc/anti-HBs (N=26) bem como naquelas anti-HBs isoladas (N=14). Assim, 57 amostras foram submetidas à técnica de PCR. Três amostras com perfil anti-HBc isolado, uma anti-HBc/anti-HBs e uma anti-HBs isolado foram positivas para VHB-DNA, resultando em um índice de infecção oculta pelo VHB de 9,2% (5/54). A análise filogenética das amostras VHB-DNA positivas identificou todas como genótipo A. Os resultados encontrados demonstram uma importante prevalência da infecção pelo VHB na população estudada, destacando-se a necessidade de elaboração e adoção de estratégias de prevenção e controle da infecção pelo VHB, bem como de um contínuo monitoramento dos pacientes VHB-DNA positivos para acompanhamento e elucidação do estado da infecção.

Delineamento adaptativo/psicológico de mães de crianças abrigadas / Delimitation adaptative/psychological of mothers with children in shelters

O abrigo é uma medida provisória de proteção a crianças e adolescentes em situação de risco em suas famílias. Além da função de proteção, outra função das instituições de abrigo é zelar pela preservação dos vínculos familiares e reinserção da criança ao convívio familiar. No entanto, os motivos que levam as crianças à institucionalização, dentre os quais a violência intrafamiliar, a negligência, o abandono parental e condições socioeconômicas desfavoráveis, dificultam o retorno das crianças para suas famílias tornando-se um desafio para o trabalho preventivo. Com interesse na compreensão desse tema, a presente pesquisa teve por objetivo geral: delinear aspectos adaptativos e psicológicos de mães de crianças abrigadas, e por objetivos específicos: 1) investigar o funcionamento adaptativo das mães de crianças abrigadas; 2) averiguar a autoimagem e autoconceito dessas mães e 3) identificar fatores adaptativos e psicológicos das mães, que estariam associados ao abrigamento dos filhos. Participaram deste estudo sete mães, cujos filhos com idade entre de 0 a 10 anos e 11 meses estavam abrigados e recebiam visitas regulares das mesmas. Os instrumentos utilizados foram: a) entrevista preventiva; b) Escala Diagnóstica Adaptativa Operacionalizada (EDAO); c) Teste do Desenho da Figura Humana. Os resultados mostraram adaptação ineficaz grave em três mães, adaptação ineficaz severa em três mães e adaptação ineficaz moderada em uma mãe. Na avaliação da adequação setorial, os setores afetivo-relacional, produtividade e sócio-cultural mostraram-se os mais comprometidos. Os dados coletados nas entrevistas revelaram excessiva idealização na busca principalmente por parceiros, repetição e transmissão transgeracional da violência e do abandono vivenciados na própria infância e o empobrecimento do papel materno com falha na função de proteção e cuidados aos filhos. No Desenho da Figura Humana predominaram autoconceito e autoimagem preponderantemente negativos com sentimentos de insegurança, inadequação e inferioridade. Constatou-se que os fatores psicológicos e adaptativos, assim evidenciados, apresentaram-se fortemente associados ao abrigamento dos filhos. / The shelter is interim measure of protection for children and adolescents that lives with a risk situation in your families. Beyond the protection function, another function from the shelters institutions is ensure for preservation of the family bonds and reintegration of the child to the family. However, the reasons leading the children to the institutionalization, among which the family violence, negligence, abandonment by parents and poverty economic and social, difficults the return of the children to their families becoming a challenge for the preventive work. Interested in understanding of this subject, this research had general objectives: delineate psychological and adaptive aspects of mothers with children living in shelters, and specifics objectives: 1) investigate the adaptive functioning of mothers from children sheltered; 2) investigate the self-image and self-concept of these mothers and e 3) identify factors psychological and adaptative of mothers who were associated with institutionalization of the children. Seven mothers participated from this study, whose children are aged between 0 to 10 years and 11 months and were in shelter and received regular visits from them. The instruments used were: a) preventive interview; b) Operational Adaptive Diagnostic Scale (EDAO); c) Human Figure Drawing Test. The results showed ineffective adaptation serious in three mothers, ineffective adaptation severe in three mothers and ineffective adaptation moderate in a mother. On the evaluating of adequacy from the sectors, affective-relational sectors, productivity and socio-cultural proved to be the most committed. The data collected on the interviews has revealed an excessive idealization mainly in search of partners, repetition and transgenerational transmission of violence and abandonment experienced on their own childhood and the depletion of the maternal role with failure protection function and care for children. In the human figure drawing has predominant self-concept and self-image overwhelmingly negative with feelings of insecurity, inadequacy and inferiority. It was found that psychological factors and adaptive, as evidenced, were strongly associated with institutionalization of children.

This thesis is an attempt to contribute a fresh perspective on marriage and related subjects, making use of public theology in dialogue with the Christ narrative. The phenomena of post secularism, postmodernism and film hermeneutics are explored. Critical hermeneutics are used as a point of departure. This study aims to bridge the gap between the Christ narrative and public theology as it surfaces in the cinema. In Chapter 2 the terms of the concepts public theology and posttheism are investigated. Public theology is understood as the contribution of people in the public sphere participating in “God-talk”, as an exponent of post theism. Chapter 3 investigates the historical development of marriage. This investigation shows that social-political and philosophical influences caused different forms and models of marriage to evolve. It becomes clear that it is practically impossible to define one specific form of marriage that dominated history. Chapter 4 is divided into two parts. The first part explores New Testament texts related to the themes of marriage and relationships. It is shown that these New Testament texts are part of a broader context and therefore cannot be applied directly to marriage in modern times. On the other hand the Christ narrative, seen as an ancient biography, does outline important values applicable to marriage, intimacy and sexuality. These values were identified and are used in following chapters to define intimate relationships. The investigation of biblical models in the second part of this chapter shows that biblical models of marriage were also rooted within a historical situation. Certain values that are found within these models can still serve as guidelines for relationships, while others are influenced by an androcentric background. Chapter 5 is a theoretical investigation using Gerhard Ebelings’ “new hermeneutics” as model, applied to the field of the public theology of film. From a hermeneutical perspective recent films with biblical themes are important to communicate the gospel and morals in our times as the postmodern generation is primarily influenced by visual media. In Chapter 6 three films are discussed as examples of film hermeneutics and public theology: Roepman, As it is in heaven and Les misérables. Similarities with the Christ narrative surfaced, for instance: critique is expressed against destructive ideologies; selfless acts are commendable and unconditional love and acceptance, forgiveness, faith and hope are essential for an authentic existence. These films do not focus on ethical dogmas about marriage, intimacy and sexuality, although some ethical values can be derived. In the concluding chapter a bifocal melting of horizons, based on the findings of the research, are described. Both the public theology of film hermeneutics and the Sache Jesu highlight the importance of the inner values that constitute a meaningful relationship. The study argues that the church should reconsider their traditional view on marriage and sexual relationships by emphasizing the values found in the Sache Jesu instead of concentrating on enforcing the outward form of wedlock. Examining International Responses to Institutionalized Sexual Violence in Conflict : A Comparative Analysis of Comfort Women, Bosnian War Rape Camps and Sexual Slavery in ISIS

Based on feminist international relations and strategic rape theory, this research aims to examine the response based on legal frameworks to cases of sexual violence and to assess their effectiveness in addressing institutionalized sexual violence in conflict. The cases that have been analysed are the comfort women in Japan, the Bosnian war rape camps and sexual slavery in ISIS. A comparative historical analysis reveals that legal frameworks are often not effectively used to protect victims during conflicts and when used are only used for prosecution post-conflict. The findings suggest that international frameworks need to be looked at again, to better protect victims and to stop institutionalized violence before it happens.

社區意識與管理制度是促成公寓大廈管理維護集體行動的兩種途徑,前者可提升鄰里情誼與環境認同,後者可促使居住品質維持一定水準,兩者對於管理維護表現也都有所影響。透過管理維護主、客觀表現之衡量,社區意識與管理制度對於住宅管理維護有何影響?結合主、客觀二者來看,真正好的管理維護其意涵為何?較佳的管理維護表現組合(主觀滿意度高、客觀績效表現亦好)會受到哪些因素影響?乃本文所關注之焦點。 實證結果發現,社區意識與委外管理程度對於管理維護的主、客觀表現皆有正面的影響,而委外程度的重要性又稍大於社區意識,顯示在促成公寓大廈管理維護的集體行動時,制度途徑(管理制度)的效果比社會途徑(社區意識)來得好一些。此隱含著公寓大廈管理維護不但需要社區內部凝聚共識,也需要建立適宜的管理制度,此可透過專業管理公司或廠商人員給予協助,促使公寓大廈管理維護能確保一定品質。 此外,真正好的管理維護應該是「住家環境非常安全、舒適,住戶也感到很滿意」,透過實證分析可知,社區戶數愈多、屋齡愈新、決議事項執行效率愈好、社區意識凝聚情形愈佳、委外程度愈高,管理維護表現出現「較佳組合」的機率會比「較差組合」來得大。

A partir d’un dispositif eTandem chinois-français initié et développé par l’Université de Genève (Suisse) et l’Université du Hubei (Chine) sur cinq années, cette thèse aborde deux problématiques : l’ingénierie pédagogique du dispositif et la co-construction des compétences via la réalisation des rôles d’expert et d’apprenant entre les locuteurs natifs et non natifs. D’une part, nous montrons que la conception du dispositif doit prendre en compte l’influence des exigences institutionnelles, des pédagogies et des cultures éducatives sur la motivation, les stratégies et les performances des apprenants. D’autre part, nous analysons de manière fine des interactions au sein de binômes dont les styles d’organisation peuvent varier. Le « projet didactique » sous-jacent à leurs échanges, grâce notamment à son caractère institutionnalisé, mobilise des ressources technologiques et interculturelles en lien avec le processus d’apprentissage. Nous montrons en particulier comment les stratégies de résolution de problèmes (négociation du sens et de la forme) sont prolongées et enrichies par les outils informatiques. / Based on a Chinese-French eTandem course initiated and developed by the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and the University of Hubei (China) over five years, this thesis tackles two issues: instructional design of the course and co-construction of competences through the realization of the roles of expert (native speaker) and learner (non-native speaker). On the one hand, our research shows that the course design should take into account the influence of the institutional requirements, teaching methods and the educational cultures on students’ motivation, strategies, and performance. On the other hand, we analyse interactions between learners, which present varying organisational styles. Thanks to the institutionalisation of the eTandem course, the « didactical characteristics » identified in their interaction mobilizes technological and intercultural resources related to the learning process. We show particularly how problem-solving strategies (negotiation of meaning and form) are extended and enriched by new technologies.
