The diploma thesis is focused on the design of planar filters combining fractal layouts and defected ground substrates. The diploma thesis can be divided into three main parts. First, basic knowledge about fractals is presented (creation of Minkowski Island and Koch loop, e.g.). Then, the principle of defected ground structure is described, and a combination of fractal motives with a defected ground structure is briefly introduced. Properties of investigated structures are verified by CST Microwave Studio and Ansoft HFSS. Second, different defected ground structures under the 50 transmission line are designed, and conventional equivalent filters are created. Filters are simulated and compared. In final, the investigated filters are recalculated for the substrate Arlon 25N, simulated, manufactured, measured and confronted with a conventional filter on the defected ground substrate.

Das Thema dieses langsamen Satzes ist asymmetrisch: Sein Nachsatz ist doppelt so lang wie sein Vordersatz. Eine genetisch-rekonstruktive Analyse zeigt den Nachsatz als Auskomponierung einer Mittelgrundstruktur, die auch in auskomponiertem Zustand nicht mehr als vier Takte zu messen bräuchte. Diese Deutung allerdings besagt nichts über die innerkompositorischen Gründe der besagten Asymmetrie – eine explanatorische Lücke, die der vorliegende Beitrag durch eine quasi Schönberg’sche Deutung des strukturanalytischen Befundes zu füllen sucht: Der Vordersatz des Mozart’schen Themas enthält einen verborgenen dreistimmigen Kanon. Eine Stimme dieses Kanons bricht vorzeitig ab. Der erste Melodieton des Nachsatzes reagiert auf diese Störung, indem er die letzte stehengelassene Tonhöhe dieser Stimme aufgreift. Dies aber erzeugt eine neuerliche Störung, die hinreichend auszubalancieren voller acht Takte bedarf. / The theme of this slow movement is asymmetrical: its consequent is twice as long as its antecedent. A genetic-reconstructive analysis reveals the consequent to be a composing-out of a middle-ground structure that would need not measure more than four bars when fully composed. This interpretation, however, says nothing about the true compositional reasons for the asymmetry in question. The present contribution attempts to fill this explanatory gap using a quasi-Schoenbergian interpretation of the analyzed structure: the opening movement of Mozart's theme contains a hidden three-part canon, except that one voice of this canon breaks off prematurely. The first melody tone of the consequent reacts to this disturbance by picking up where the other voice left off. This, however, creates a new disturbance that requires eight bars to be sufficiently balanced.

Para tanto, foi feita a produção heteróloga da enzima Rv0800 em E. coli e sua expressão pelo Mtb foi confirmada. A proteína recombinante obtida (rDAP) foi avaliada como vacina primeiramente associada ao Cn-AMP1, um peptídeo antimicrobiano proveniente da água de coco, e em outro experimento, associada ao ADVAXTM, um adjuvante polissacarídico derivado da delta inulina e foram usadas para vacinar camundongos BALB/c. As vacinas DAPC e DAPVAX induziram anticorpos IgG1 e IgG2a específicos. A vacina DAPC gerou resposta imune celular de linfócitos TCD4+ e TCD8+ produtores de IFN-γ+ antes e depois do desafio com Mtb, e quando combinada com a vacina BCG melhorou a resposta induzida por esta. Contudo, apesar de as vacinas terem induzido resposta imune específica no modelo estudado, após a infecção foram geradas extensas lesões pulmonares e não houve diminuição da carga bacilar nos pulmões. Neste projeto foram desenvolvidas novas vacinas de subunidade proteica compostas por uma enzima do Mycobacterium tuberculosis associada a adjuvantes derivados de plantas, nunca testados no modelo murino de infecção e que se mostraram imunogênicas, mas não conferiram proteção.

I uppsatsen undersöks fem "allmänna svenska" folkbildningsmöten hållna, huvudsakligen i Folkbildningsförbundets regi, mellan 1904 och 1920. Trots att de är väldokumenterade och gavs betydelse för folkbildningens utveckling av sin samtid, har de inte tidigare varit föremål för en egen studie. På grund av forskningsläget strävar undersökningen efter att tematisera mötena som en helhet, den iscensatta aktören Folkbildningsmötet. Undersökningens huvudsakliga källmaterial har varit de mötesberättelser som gavs ut i anslutning till mötena. Undersökningen visar att Folkbildningsmötet huvudsakligen ägnade sig åt administrativa frågor och agerade för en allsidig, "liberal" antiklassbildning.

Frequency selective surfaces (FSS) includes a large area of Telecommunications and have been widely used due to its low cost, low weight and ability to integrate with others microwaves circuits. They re especially important in several applications, such as airplane, antennas systems, radomes, rockets, missiles, etc. FSS applications in high frequency ranges have been investigated, as well as applications of cascading structures or multi-layer, and active FSS. In this work, we present results for simulated and measured transmission characteristics of cascaded structures (multilayer), aiming to investigate the behavior of the operation in terms of bandwidth, one of the major problems presented by frequency selective surfaces. Comparisons are made with simulated results, obtained using commercial software such as Ansoft DesignerTM v3 and measured results in the laboratory. Finally, some suggestions are presented for future works on this subject / Este trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento de novas estruturas de micro-ondas, filtros multi-banda ou banda larga, atrav?s do cascateamento de superf?cies seletivas em frequ?ncia, que usa patches fractais de D?rer pentagonal e Minkowski como elementos, al?m de um elemento obtido a partir da combina??o de outros dois mais simples que s?o o dipolo em cruz e a espira quadrada. Superf?cies seletivas em frequ?ncia (FSS) abrangem uma grande ?rea das Telecomunica??es e t?m sido largamente utilizadas devido a seu baixo custo, peso reduzido e possibilidade de se integrar com outros circuitos de micro-ondas. Elas s?o especialmente importantes em diversas aplica??es, como avi?es, sistemas de antenas, radomes, foguetes, m?sseis, etc. Aplica??es de FSS em faixas de frequ?ncia elevadas t?m sido investigadas, assim como aplica??es destas estruturas em cascata ou multicamadas, FSS ativas.
