Implementation and Analysis of VoIP CPE Management System using TR-069

Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) management is underestimated by the CPE vendors and services providers while it is in fact one of the most important aspects to ensure the high quality of service. Many people still think CPE management is the same as network management. Thus, they use the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to manage their CPEs. However, SNMP alone was thought not to scale nor to support the provisioning of the types of services which internet services providers must support today. This thesis highlights the importance of CPE management, how it is implemented using the TR-069; a CPE management protocol defined by the DSL Forum, and how a management system can be used for VoIP service management, and whether a CPE should implement TR-069 or SNMP as the management system to support. In the addition, the TR-069 will be compared against the SNMP to determine which one is more suitable for CPE management. An interesting conclusion is that while TR-069 does have some advantages over SNMP for managing services rather than simply managing the device, these advantages are not a large as initially believed nor has TR-069 avoided the problem of proprietary management information which SNMP has demonstrated. / Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) skötseln är undervärderad av CPE försäljarna och tjänste leverantörerna meddans det faktiskt är en av de mest viktiga aspekterna för att tillförsäkra hög quality of service. Många personer tror fortfarande att CPE skötseln är det samma som att sköta ett nätverk. Så, de använder Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) för att sköta deras CPE:er. Emellertid, SNMP ensamt var inte tänkt att skala eller att ge stöd vid försörjning av typer av tjänster som internet tjänst leverantörer måste stödja idag. The diploma thesis deals with the development of the vacant lot in Prague - Libeň at the PCB level. A multifunctional house is designed, which includes three establishments and eleven housing units. The premises will be used as shops. The apartments are designed for 2 to 4-member families. Multifunctional house floor plan with a total area of 683.1 square meters. The building has a basement with five floors, the premises are located on the first floor. There is a pedestrian and driveway to the building. Behind the object away from the main road is an outdoor parking lot. The underground garage will be accessed by a car elevator. The whole building is covered with a sloping roof. The project is processed using the computer program AutoCAD.

THE AIM OF THIS DIPLOMA´S THESIS IS A NEW BUILDING OF A MULTIFUNCTIONAL HOUSE IN UHERSKÉ HRADIŠTĚ. THE BUILDING HAS THREE FLOORS AND ONE PARTLY UNDERGROUD FLOOR. THE UNDERGROUND FLOOR IS USED AS A STORAGE SPACE FOR THE BULDING‘S USERS AND AS A TECHNICAL SURROUNDINGS OF THE FACILITY. FIRST FLOOR IS USED AS A COMMERCIAL PREMISES, AS A BOULDER CENTRUM, COFFEE HOUSE AND SALES. THERE ARE SEVEN APARTMENT UNITS ON EACH FLOOR 1+KK, 2+KK, 3+KK AND 4+KK. OVERALL THERE ARE FOURTEEN APARTMENT UNITS, ALL FLATS ARE DESIGNED IN THE SAME WAY ON EACH FLOOR. E-handel kan anses utgöra det senaste tillskottet på detaljhandelsmarknaden, något som har möjliggjorts tack vare en ökad digitalisering i samhället. E-handelns marknadsandelar ökar stadigt varje år vilket är något som förutspås fortsätta i framtiden. Konsekvensen av det pågående skiftet inom detaljhandeln är förändrade konsumentbeteenden och vanor vilket inverkar på detaljhandeln och de affärsmodeller som är aktuella på marknaden. Fastighetsägare, likt handlare, måste anpassa sig efter trenderna på marknaden för att bibehålla attraktiviteten i deras butikslokaler. Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera en pågående förändring på detaljhandelsmarknaden samt hur den växande e-handeln påverkar fastighetsägares butikslokaler. Inom ramen för det studeras utvecklingen, hur fastighetsbranschen resonerar kring e-handelns intåg på marknaden samt vilka strategier fastighetsägare har för att bemöta en föränderlig marknad. Slutsatserna som kan konstateras är flera men svaret på den övergripande frågeställningen är att e-handeln ur ett långsiktigt perspektiv utgör en möjlighet för, snarare än ett hot mot, den fysiska handeln. Troligen kommer en del av butiksytorna utnyttjas i nya användningsområden eftersom den totala ytan som efterfrågas av handlare krymper. Sammanfattningsvis kommer butiker alltid att finnas men det är osäkert i vilken form och till vilken utsträckning. / E-commerce can be considered the latest addition to the retail market, which has been made possible by an increased digitalization in the society. The market share of e-commerce is steadily increasing every year, which is expected to continue in the future. The consequence of the ongoing shift in the retail market is changing consumer behavior and habits, which affects the retail market and business models that currently exist on the market. Property owners, as well as retailers, have to adapt to the trends on the market to maintain the attractiveness of their retail space. The purpose of the bachelor thesis is to study an ongoing change in the retail market as well as how the growing e-commerce affects the property owners' store premises. Within this framework, the development is studied, how the real estate industry reason about e-commerce's entry into the market, and what strategies property owners have to respond to a changing market. The conclusions that can be ascertained are several, but the answer to the overall question formulation is that e-commerce, from a long-term perspective, is an opportunity for, rather than a threat to, physical stores. Most of the retail space will probably be utilized in new areas of use as the total area demanded by retailers will shrink. In summary, stores will always exist, but it is uncertain in what form and to what extent.

Rum och lokaler för undervisning i fritidshem / Rooms and facilities for teaching in after-school center

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur fritidshemslärare upplever inomhusmiljön och rummens lämplighet för undervisning i fritidshem. Utifrån detta syfte har formulerats två frågeställningar: Hur upplever fritidshemslärare användningen av rum och lokaler och deras lämplighet i relation till undervisning i fritidshem? Vad beskriver fritidshemslärare som ändamålsenliga lokaler och rum för undervisning i fritidshem? Semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes som metod för insamling av empiriskt material för studien vilken utgörs av intervjuer med nio fritidshemslärare från sex olika skolor. Studiens empiriska material har analyserats genom tematisk kvalitativ analys som verktyg och rumsligt perspektiv har använts som teoretisk ansats. Studiens resultat visade att fritidshemslärares upplevelse om inomhusmiljön och rummens lämplighet för undervisning i fritidshem var varierande. De fritidshemslärare som upplevde att lokaler och rum är lämpliga för undervisning i fritidshem menade att det berodde på fungerande arbetslag, samverkan och inflytande över planeringen av lokalerna. Fritidshemslärare som upplevde att lokaler och rum inte lämpar sig för undervisning i fritidshem grundar den uppfattningen på brist på utrymme och rum, bristen på personal, åtstramad budget, avsaknaden av variation av rum, tema-rum, lugna rum, IKT-rum, och rum för värdegrundsarbete. Variation och fler antal rum samt en egen lokal var något som var eftersträvansvärt enligt fritidshemlärare. Sammanfattningsvis visar denna studie att den fysiska inomhusmiljön, materiella och fysiska förutsättningar och främst organisatoriska faktorer i form av samverkan kring samma lokaler med andra verksamheter, som ryms i samma lokaler, upplevs påverka rum och lokalernas lämplighet för fritidshemmets didaktiska praktiker enligt.

A Framework for Dynamic Selection of Backoff Stages during Initial Ranging Process in Wireless Networks

Yes / The only available solution in the IEEE 802.22 standard for avoiding collision amongst various contending customer premises equipment (CPEs) attempting to associate with a base station (BS) is binary exponential random backoff process in which the contending CPEs retransmit their association requests. The number of attempts the CPEs send their requests to the BS are fixed in an IEEE 802.22 network. This paper presents a mathematical framework that helps the BS in determining at which attempt the majority of the CPEs become part of the wireless regional area network from a particular number of contending CPEs. Based on a particular attempt, the ranging request collision probability for any number of contending CPEs with respect to contention window size is approximated. The numerical results validate the effectiveness of the approximation. Moreover, the average ranging success delay experienced by the majority of the CPEs is also determined.

Cette thèse concerne l'investigation détaillée du problème du temps de zapping dans les réseaux d'opérateurs offrant un service IPTY basé sur la technologie multicast. Cette investigation a conduit à plusieurs contributions qui permettent de substantiellement améliorer le temps de zapping dans ce type de réseau. Notre première contribution concerne la partie purement réseau. Nous avons proposé d'optimiser le processus de changement de chaîne et ceci pour chaque version du protocole IGMP. Cette optimisation réduit la latence due au réseau sans pour autant augmenter la consommation de bande passante d'une manière significative. Nous avons modélisé le service IPTV Multicast pour estimer les pics de consommation de la bande passante pour permettre à l'opérateur de dimensionner son réseau. La deuxième contribution concerne la partie traitement du flux IPTV par le récepteur. Dans cette partie, nous avons proposé d'associer au flux principal un flux secondaire, version retardée du principal. La construction du flux secondaire se fait en donnant une priorité élevée aux paquets transportant des éléments d'une I-Frame par rapport à d'autres types d'éléments (P­ Frame, B-Frame, Voix et Data). Cette nouvelle règle de construction permet de réduire le délai d'attente de la première I­Frame nécessaire pour commencer la phase de décodage tout en réduisant le temps de remplissage du buffer. Dans un environnement réel, nous avons évalué cette contribution et constaté une réduction remarquable du temps de zapping. / This thesis involves a detailed investigation of the problem of IPTV zapping time in networks of operators providing IPTV service based on multicast technology. This investigation led to some contributions that can substantially improve the channel change time in this type of network.Our first contribution concerns the pure network. We proposed an optimization of the channels changing process for each version of the IGMP protocol. This optimization reduces network latency without significantly increasing the bandwidth consumption. We proposed also a model of multicast IPTV service that we used to estimate the maximum bandwidth demand. This model enables the operator to size the bandwidth availability in its network.The second contribution relates to the processing part of stream IPTV on the receiver. In this section, we proposed to combine the main flow to a secondary flow, delayed version of the main stream. The construction of the secondary stream is clone by giving high priority to packets carrying elements of an I-frame compared to other types of elements (P-Frame, B­-Frame, Voice and Data). This rule of construction can reduce the First I-Frame Delay required to start the decoding phase and at the same time reduce the Buffering Delay. In a real environment, we evaluated this contribution and measured a remarkable decline of the zapping time with our proposal.

Thesis title: Urgent and unrepeatable acts Abstract Urgent and unrepeatable acts are procedural acts of criminal proceedings that have two opposite aspects. On the one hand, there is an interest in combating crime, and an urgent or unrepeatable act can help law enforcement authorities to obtain evidence that might not be possible to prove at later stages of the criminal proceedings (whether after the prosecution or the proceedings before court), if the law enforcement authorities did not intervene without undue delay. On the other hand, the urgent and unrepeatable acts could be a significant interference with the rights of the defense, especially in cases where they are carried out before the prosecution begins. This is why there are special provision on the requirements for urgent or unrepeatable acts in the Criminal Procedure Code. The aim of the thesis was to analyze selected questions within the topic of urgent and unrepeatable acts, which are currently discussed mainly due to their insufficient legal regulation, and to propose de lege ferenda solution, if possible. A amostra foi composta por pais e seus filhos matriculados em escolas particulares de Ensino Fundamental, da 1ª. à 4ª. série, cuja participação foi voluntária. Foram escolhidas dez crianças de ambos os sexos, que se encontram na faixa etária de 06 (seis) a 10 (dez anos). Os pais-homens encontram-se na faixa etária de 37-48 anos. A faixa etária das mães compreende 32-53 anos. A maioria dos pais possui grau de instrução superior. Os pais foram submetidos a uma entrevista composta por 24 (vinte e quatro) itens, sendo 08 (oito) deles subitens, somando, no total, 32 (trinta e duas) questões. Após a entrevista, foi solicitada a cada um dos pais a elaboração de desenhos sobre o futuro de seus filhos. A entrevista realizada com as crianças ficou composta por 08 (oito) questões. No final, também a elas foram pedidos desenhos sobre sua brincadeira favorita e seu futuro. A partir da categorização das respostas foram estabelecidos 03 (três) temas e 11 (onze) subtemas, como se seguem: Passado: ingresso na escola, adaptação e alfabetização; Presente: rendimento escolar, disciplinas (mais gosta e menos gosta), atividades extra-escolares e iniciativa das escolhas, aspectos valorizados, aspectos não valorizados, momentos livres: brincar e saúde do filho; Futuro: possível realização futura. A análise das respostas foi realizada por temas, sendo que o referencial teórico teve como linha mestra os pressupostos reichianos e neo-reichianos.
