"Se eu tirar o trabalho, sobra um cantinho que a gente foi deixando ali" : clínica de psicodinâmica do trabalho na atividade de docentes no ensino superior privado

Cette recherche vise à étudier les questions relatives à la santé mentale et le travail des professeurs, plus spécifiquement liés à l'expérience du plaisir et la souffrance au travail des professeurs dans les établissements d'enseignement supérieur (EES) privés. Dans le contexte actuel, on peut voir une expansion considérable des établissements d'enseignement supérieur et, par conséquent, une surcharge de travail qui reflète la santé physique et mentale des professionnels qui travaillent dans ce domaine. Théoriquement, cette recherche est fondée sur des hypothèses que parlent de la santé mentale et le travail dans les établissements d'enseignement supérieur privé d'enseignement. Elle est basé théorique et méthodologiquement dans la clinique de la psychodynamique du travail. La méthode qualitative a été utilisée, avec la réalisation d'entrevues individuelles semi-dirigées avec dix-huit professeurs des établissements d'enseignement supérieur privé. L'analyse des résultats a été mis au point avec des hypothèses de la psychodynamique du travail, mettant en évidence des très large journée de travail qui, souvent, envahit la vie à l'extérieur du travail, mettant en évidence leur frais généraux activités demandé, qui, en conséquence, compromet la santé physique et psychologique des enseignants. Pour éviter des souffrances et des maladies psychiques, les enseignants interrogés font usage des stratégies de promotion de la santé, parmi lesquels ont été mis en évidence les stratégies défensives qui favorisent le maintien de l'Organisation du travail et les stratégies qui stimulent la continuité du travail d'enseignement. De cette façon, il a été possible d'identifier ce qui a été le plus gros changement demander: conquête d'un espace pour discuter de questions relatives au travail; la distribution obligatoire de la journée de travail pour être compatible avec le temps de préparation de classes et d'activités scolaires; moins d'heures à travailler dans la salle de classe, afin de permettre le développement d'activités et notamment l'extension de la recherche et la qualification. On peut donc voir que le travail peut être reconnu par leur potentiel constitutive de l'émancipation, de la subjectivité et de l'identité, mais d'autre part lorsqu'il résume la vie des travailleurs, mais s'il n'y aucune expérimentation au-delà du travail, il devient aliénant et causant des souffrances. Cependant travail dans cette étude n'est pas seulement comprise comme le lieu de production de souffrance santé/maladies, mais surtout, l'espace de vie et de socialisation, où la subjectivité est appelée constament de se (re) configurer. Pour un changement dans ce contexte, il est nécessaire d'aller au delà de l'espace physique des IES et d'amener cette discussion sur la souffrance dans le travail de l'enseignement dans d'autres sphères, afin de faire une question d'intérêt public et ainsi construire des stratégies efficaces des politiques pour le bénefice de la santé des professeurs d'université. / Esta pesquisa propõe-se a investigar temáticas referentes à saúde mental e o trabalho de docentes universitários, especificamente relacionadas às vivências de prazer e sofrimento no trabalho de professores universitários em Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) privadas. No atual contexto brasileiro, percebe-se uma considerável expansão de Instituições de Ensino Superior e, consequentemente, uma sobrecarga de trabalho o que repercute na saúde física e mental dos profissionais que atuam neste âmbito. Teoricamente esta pesquisa está sedimentada em pressupostos que inter-relacionam a saúde mental e o trabalho docente em IES privadas. Fundamenta-se teórica e metodologicamente na Clínica da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho. Utilizou-se o método qualitativo, com a realização de entrevistas individuais semi-estruturadas com dezoito professores universitários de IES privadas. A análise dos resultados foi desenvolvida a partir dos pressupostos da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, evidenciando uma extensiva jornada de atividades que, com frequência, invade a vida fora do trabalho, revelando a sobrecarga de atividades que lhes é solicitada cotidianamente, o que, como consequência, compromete a saúde física e psíquica dos professores. Para evitar o sofrimento e adoecimento psíquico os docentes entrevistados fazem uso de estratégias que promovam a saúde, dentre elas foram evidenciadas as estratégias defensivas que favorecem a manutenção da organização do trabalho, sendo estas consideradas alienadoras, e as estratégias que estimulam a continuidade do trabalho docente. Dessa forma foi possível identificar as maiores solicitações de mudança neste contexto, sendo elas: conquista de um espaço para discutir as questões do trabalho; a obrigatoriedade da distribuição na jornada de trabalho compatível com o tempo de preparação de aulas e atividades acadêmicas; menor carga horária direcionada ao trabalho em sala de aula, para permitir o desenvolvimento de atividades ligadas a extensão e, especialmente, à pesquisa e à qualificação. Sendo assim, percebe-se que o trabalho pode ser reconhecido por seu potencial emancipador, constituinte da subjetividade e da identidade, mas por outro lado, quando ele resume a vida dos trabalhadores, não havendo experimentações fora, o trabalho torna-se alienante e causador de sofrimento. Entretanto, o trabalho, neste estudo não é entendido apenas como o lugar da produção de sofrimento saúde/adoecimentos, mas sim, e principalmente, o espaço do viver e do conviver, em que a subjetividade é convocada constantemente a se (re) configurar. Para que haja transformação neste contexto é necessário transcender o espaço físico das IES e levar esta discussão sobre o sofrimento no trabalho docente para outras esferas, com o intuito de tornar este problema público, e assim, construir estratégias que implementem de forma eficaz políticas que viabilizem a saúde dos professores universitários. / This research proposes to investigate topics related to mental health and the work of university professors, more specifically related to the experiences of pleasure and pain in the work of university professors in private higher education institutions (HEI). In the current context, there is a considerable expansion of higher education institutions and consequently an work overload which affects the physical and mental health of people who work in this field. Theoretically this research is rooted in assumptions that interact to mental health and the teaching work in private HEI. It is based on theoretical and methodological in the Clinic of Psychodynamics of Work. The qualitative method was used, with the realization of individual semi-structured interviews with eighteen university professors of private HEI. The analysis of the results was developed from the assumptions of the psychodynamics of work, showing an extensive workday, which often, invades the life outside of work, showing the overload of the required daily activities, which results in impaired physical and mental health of teachers. To avoid suffering and psychic illness, the interviewed teachers make use of strategies that promote health, among them were evidenced the defensive strategies that favor the maintenance of work organization, which were more alienated, and strategies that encourage the continuity of teaching. This way it was possible to identify which were the largest change requests in this context, as follows: conquest of space to discuss the issues of work; distribution of workday compatible with the time of preparation of classes and academic activities; lower classroom workload directed to work in the classroom, to allow the development ofactivities related to extension and particularly research and qualification. Thus it is seen that the work can be recognized by its potential emancipator, constituent of subjectivity and identity, but on the other hand when he summarizes the life of the workers, there is no experimentation outside it, the work becomes alienating and causing suffering. However, work in this study is not only understood as the place of production of suffering health/diseases, but more importantly, the living space and socialization, where subjectivity is constantly referred to (re) configure. For any processing in this context it is necessary to transcend the physical space of the HEI and lead this discussion on suffering in the teaching work to other spheres, with the aim of making this public problem and thus build strategies that implement effectively policies that make possible the health of university professors.

The research objects are the pedagogy course of private sector with profit ends in the city of Goiânia and a comparative study of the pedagogy course from two institutions: Catholic University of Goiás and Faculdades Alves Faria. The study is done through documental research (oral and written sources) in a broader sense, with the perspective of social and historical context, analyzing its macrostructure and respecting its historical particularities and specificities. The research shows the way private higher education with profit ends, that offers pedagogy course in a context of expansion, organizes itself to take part of the competitive market of education in Goiania. The analyses identifies a process of expansion in the higher education sector, especially in the late nineties, with the establishment of new institutions and pedagogy course as well as increase of vacancies. The flux and reflux phenomenon emerges as a response to this expansion boom, which changes the competitive logic of the market. This phenomenon is observed through the number of vacancies, demand, enrolments and the number of graduated students. / Este estudo objetiva analisar, no contexto das políticas educacionais no Brasil, a expansão do ensino superior privado com fins lucrativos e como se instalou o processo de expansão dos cursos de Pedagogia no âmbito nacional, regional e local. Elegeu-se como objeto de pesquisa e análise os cursos de Pedagogia do setor privado com fins lucrativos no município de Goiânia, fazendo-se um estudo comparativo do curso de Pedagogia de duas instituições: Universidade Católica de Goiás e Faculdades Alves Faria. Aborda-se o objeto de estudo por meio de pesquisa documental, no sentido amplo do uso de fontes orais e escritas, na perspectiva de contextualização sócio-histórica, analisando seus determinantes macroestruturais, com a compreensão das determinações que fazem parte do município de Goiânia, com suas particularidades e especificidades históricas. A pesquisa destaca a forma como as IES privadas com fins lucrativos, que ofertam o curso de Pedagogia em um contexto de expansão do ensino superior privado, estruturam sua participação na disputa estabelecida em Goiânia no campo do Ensino Superior. A análise efetivada identifica um processo de expansão, sobretudo na segunda metade dos anos 90, com a criação de novas IES, abertura de novos cursos de Pedagogia, aumento de vagas, concorrência acirrada e, como resposta ao boom expansionista identificado, detecta o fenômeno do refluxo, que muda a lógica concorrencial no mercado em disputa. Ressaltando as especificidades inerentes as IES pesquisadas, o estudo identifica, nessas instituições, o fluxo e o refluxo evidenciados por meio do número de vagas, demandas, matrículas e egressos.

An assessment of the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education in Botswana private higher education institutions

The present study assessed the effectiveness of Entrepreneurship Education (EE) in Private Higher Education institutions in Botswana. The assessment of the effectiveness of EE serves as a context of finding ways of addressing challenges and proposing a model for implementing effective EE in Botswana Private Higher Education Institutions. The study adopted a positivism paradigm. A quantitative approach was employed. A survey design was used in the empirical study and a self-constructed questionnaire was used to collect data. Two hundred and forty-nine students exposed to EE and fifty-two commercial college/university lecturers participated in the study. The Social Science Statistical Package (SPSS) version 22 was applied to analyse the data. Chi-square tests were calculated. Ratios were calculated to show the ratings of each item. This study revealed that EE’s curriculum structure such as objectives, content, implementation, and assessment affected its effectiveness. The study also revealed that Botswana Private Higher Education Institutions did not have material resources to effectively EE. The current study also established that even though stakeholders had positive attitudes towards EE, entrepreneurial culture in Gaborone was weak. Findings of the study also revealed that there was no comprehensive EE policy for its effective implementation in tertiary institutions. The present study recommended that the implementation of EE would be improved through the restructuring of the curriculum, the provision of resources and the need to formulate mandatory policies and legislation for its implementation. / Psychology of Education / D. Managing a private higher education institution within the current higher regulatory context in South Africa

The South Africa higher education environment has been regulated through the enactment of policies promulgated by the governments of the day since the establishment of South African higher education. Even in the early days, the higher education sector comprised both public and private higher education institutions. Since South Africa’s democratic election in 1994, the higher education environment has been altered by the current government by means of policy enactment. Limited research has been conducted on the impact of the current regulatory context on the management of a private higher education institution. Therefore, the focus of this study was to determine how a private higher education institution within the current higher regulatory context in South Africa is managed. A qualitative research methodology was used to study the phenomenon. For this purpose, a case study, an accredited and registered private higher education institution was identified and individual interviews conducted with its six managers. The study adhered to ethical principles and techniques to enhance the validity/trustworthiness of the findings. The study found that the current regulatory enactment that was initiated under the new democratic government elected in 1994 had far-reaching implications for the private higher education sector. As a consequence, management structures, policies and procedures, quality assurance processes and procedures and management functions were altered. However, some of the regulatory criteria still have an impact on the management functions as private providers still struggle for full recognition by the government. / Educational Studies / M. Ed. A model for effective curriculum implementation in accredited private higher education institutions in Botswana

The purpose of the study was to propose a model (framework) for effective implementation of curricula in accredited Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) operating in a highly regulated higher education environment in Botswana. The study used a mixed methods research approach that employed concurrent triangulation design. A structured questionnaire and a semi-structured interview guide were used to collect data on the views of both 306 lecturers and 12 academic middle managers (AMMs) respectively, on how the curriculum is implemented in the accredited PHEIs. Data analysis was done using statistical tables, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Mann Whitney U-Test, regression analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation modelling (SEM). Results of the study showed that characteristics of the external environment, lecturer, institution as well as characteristics and conception of the curriculum were all statistically, significantly and positively related to effective curriculum implementation in accredited PHEIs and hence acted as predictors of effective curriculum implementation in these institutions. The study also showed that factors in the above predictor variables which included heavy workloads, lack of training on pedagogical issues, limited opportunities for staff development in some of the PHEIs, limited teaching resources as well as a highly regulated higher education environment were major challenges affecting effective curriculum implementation in the PHEIS. It emerged from the study that a 1% improvement on each of the predictor variables could lead to improvements in the way curriculum is currently implemented in these institutions. Data is ontleed met behulp van statistiese tabelle, Analise van Variansie (ANOVA), die Mann Whitney U-Test, regressieontleding, korrelasieontleding en strukturele vergelykingsmodellering (SEM). Die resultate van die studie het getoon dat eienskappe van die eksterne omgewing; van die dosent; van die instelling, sowel as eienskappe en beskouings van die kurrikulum, almal positiewe, beduidende en statistiese verwantskappe met doeltreffende kurrikulumimplementering in geakkrediteerde PHEIs het, en dus as voorspellers van doeltreffende kurrikulumimplementering in hierdie instellings opgetree het. Die studie het ook getoon dat faktore in die bogenoemde voorspellerveranderlikes – insluitende aansienlike werkslas, gebrek aan opleiding oor pedagogiese kwessies, beperkte geleenthede vir personeelontwikkeling in sommige van die PHEIs, beperkte onderrighulpbronne, sowel as ʼn hoogs gereguleerde hoëronderwysomgewing – groot uitdagings was wat doeltreffende kurrikulumimplementering in die PHEIs beïnvloed het. Dit het uit die studie geblyk dat ʼn 1%-verbetering in elk van die voorspellerveranderlikes verbeteringe kan teweegbring in die manier waarop die kurrikulum in hierdie instellings geïmplementeer word. O Objeto de Estudo dessa Dissertação é a Faculdade Nossa Cidade - FNC. IES situada no município de Carapicuíba, SP. O Objetivo Geral da Dissertação foi o de descrever em profundidade o diagnóstico situacional da FNC em dois períodos distintos no tempo, quanto aos esforços de comunicação para a divulgação do processo seletivo 2012 e 2013. Como Objetivos Específicos, a Dissertação buscou analisar de maneira sistemática os dados coletados, avaliar o retorno dos investimentos em comunicação da IES e propor orientações para o desenvolvimento da Campanha de Comunicação Mercadológica da FNC para a venda dos cursos oferecidos. Foram utilizados como Procedimentos Metodológicos a Pesquisa Exploratória com a utilização de Estudo de Caso, dividido em duas Fases, a saber: Fase 1- Delimitação das teorias que sustentam o arcabouço teórico sobre Educação Superior no Brasil e a atual educação superior como \"negócio rentável\", além da delimitação teórica sobre Gestão Mercadológica para empresas de Serviços, Retorno de Investimentos em Comunicação, e Planejamento de Comunicação. Fase 2 - Pesquisas Primárias (entrevistas com o corpo diretivo da IES, com os docentes e com os discentes ingressantes e concluintes), e Pesquisas Secundárias - análise dos registros das campanhas do processo seletivo 2012 e 2013, e a análise dos resultados do Relatório da Comissão Própria de Avaliação (CPA - 2014). De acordo com o diagnóstico apresentado a FNC apresenta significativos pontos fortes institucionais, pedagógicos, financeiros, de marketing e de gestão e organização. Os pontos a melhorar são de conhecimento da alta direção e têm recebido atenção por parte da direção pedagógica, que responde pela IES junto ao MEC. O enquadramento e classificação dos cursos oferecidos pela FNC na Matriz BCG foram confirmados pelo cálculo do MCP de cada um dos cursos na avaliação do período 2012-2014. Para a análise GE, após a realização dos cálculos de notas ponderadas para a atratividade de mercado e para o posicionamento do negócio em seu mercado, a FNC foi enquadrada como um negócio de alta atratividade de mercado e alto posicionamento do negócio em seu mercado. O diagnóstico demonstrou, ainda, que a FNC realiza ações para o atendimento dos 14 objetivos da comunicação e essas ações são reconhecidas pela comunidade acadêmica. A análise do retorno de investimento em comunicação indicou que a FNC apresenta viabilidade econômica, financeira e patrimonial sólidas. Como orientações ao Planejamento da Comunicação o texto indica que a FNC precisa administrar de maneira consciente suas promessas de serviço; deve manter canal aberto de informações junto aos candidatos à matrícula na IES e, sobretudo, junto ao corpo docente e corpo discente da Faculdade; deve também educar seus diferentes públicos, sobretudo os alunos, uma vez que sua entrega de serviços é de característica de alta participação do cliente em todo o processo e deve, ainda, cuidar com muita atenção da comunicação interna junto aos funcionários técnico-administrativos e docentes. Tudo isso pode ajudar o processo de comunicação a fim de evitar que se gere insatisfação por parte do cliente. / The study object of this thesis is the Faculdade Nossa Cidade - FNC. IES in the municipality of Carapicuiba, SP. The Dissertation of the General Purpose was to describe in depth the situational diagnosis of FNC in two different periods in time, as the communication efforts for the dissemination of the Selection Process in 2012 and 2013. As specific objectives, the dissertation aimed to analyze systematically the data collected, evaluate the return on investments in communication IES and propose guidelines for the development of the FNC Communication Campaign for the sale of courses offered. They were used as Methodological Procedures exploratory research with the use of case study, divided into two phases, namely: Phase 1 - Delimitation of theories that support the theoretical framework on Higher Education in Brazil and the current higher education as a \"profitable business\" in addition to the theoretical definition of marketing management for service companies, Investment Return on Communication and Marketing Communication Planning. Stage 2 - Primary Research (interviews with the governing body of IES, with teachers and with students entering and graduating), and Research Secondary - analysis of records of the campaigns of the Selection Process in 2012 and 2013 and the analysis of the results of the Report Committee for Assessment (CPA - 2014). According to the diagnosis introduced to FNC presents significant institutional, pedagogical, financial strengths, marketing, and management and organization. The areas for improvement are the knowledge of senior management and have received attention from the pedagogical direction, which responds by IES with the MEC. The framework and classification of courses offered by the FNC in the BCG Analysis were confirmed by MCP calculation of each of the courses in the evaluation period 2012- 2014. For GE Analysis, after the purposes of the calculation of weighted grades for market attractiveness and the business positioning in its market, FNC was framed as a highly attractive market business and high positioning of the business in your market. The diagnosis has also shown that the FNC takes action to meet the 14 Objectives of Communication and these actions are recognized by the academic community. Analysis of the communication payback indicated that the FNC has economic feasibility, financial and solid equity. As guidelines to Communication Planning for FNC must manage consciously their service promises; it must maintain an open channel of information from the candidates for enrollment in IES and especially with the faculty and student body of the Faculty; It must also educate its stakeholders, particularly students, since its delivery of services is of high share of customer feature throughout the process and must also take care carefully of internal communication with the technical and administrative staff and teachers. All this can help the communication process in order to avoid that generate dissatisfaction by the customer.

Through field research and institutional evaluation, we sought to compare the results obtained in an evaluation process in the academic community and local, interpreting the reality of small IES-private, located in the interior of Goiás, FAIT (Alliance School), there are 07 (seven) years operates in the field of higher education, as PMIES, with an approximate capacity of 300 students enrolled. This paper compares the standards and guidelines of the National Assessment of Higher Education Institutions System - SINAES / CONAES, from the data collected and analysis by research conducted by ABMES, between the years 2013-2014, and by analysis of research authors like Ristoff and Sobrinho. The analysis began with the lifting of qualitative comparative profile, matching the CPA's (committee for assessment) internal and external of the same HEI (2013), as well as bibliographic data and documentaries, which provided the mapping references and the reality of small private institution in the city of Itaberaí. Then made up his own field research HEIs (Higher Education Institutions) in 2014, through a detailed, organized that provided the search suggestions, projects as alternative to improve the competitiveness of private small IES and midsize, research object. And, based on field research, completed the CPA (internal) in March and April 2013, analyzed the reality of small HEIs (Higher Education Institutions) and the observation of its influence in the IDH (Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano) (Index Human Development) site. The field research addressed together: the questionnaire, application of complementary interviews by CATI methodology (by telephone) and individually, the representatives of the local community, students and alumni of FAIT (Alliance College); already Institutional Evaluation was carried out by the online system through Web Survey, students and employees FAIT (Alliance College). At first, we tried to understand the reality and the assessment of the scenario of Brazilian higher education in relation to research and the actual phase is the establishment of the small college, in the city and region, higher education institution located in the Central region west Goiano. The results achieved in small IES-FAIT, when comparing to research presented by ABMEIS (2013) suggest greater care and support the permanence of small private HEIs in the municipalities, which are installed in view of the importance of these in the IDH (Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano) (Index Human development), despite the financial difficulties they face. For it is clear the influence of PMIES (Small and Medium Higher Education Institution) to local and regional development, with a tendency to increase per capita income and economic of each region, where they are installed. / O estudo tem como propósito investigar quesitos que dificultam o crescimento das pequenas IES (Instituições de Ensino Superior). Através de uma pesquisa de campo e avaliação institucional, buscamos comparar os resultados apurados em um processo avaliativo junto à comunidade acadêmica e local, interpretando a realidade da pequena IES-privada, situada no interior de Goiás, FAIT (Faculdade Aliança), que há 07 (sete) anos atua no ramo do Ensino Superior, como PMIES, com capacidade aproximada para 300 alunos matriculados. O presente trabalho compara as normas e diretrizes do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação das Instituições de Ensino Superior – SINAES/CONAES, a partir dos dados e análises levantados, por pesquisa realizada pela ABMES, entre os anos de 2013-2014, e mediante análise das pesquisas de autores como Ristoff e Sobrinho. A análise iniciou com o levantamento do perfil comparativo qualitativa, combinando com a CPA´s (Comissão Própria de Avaliação) interna e externa da mesma IES (2013), assim como de dados bibliográficos e documentários, que proporcionaram o mapeamento e referências da realidade da pequena IES privada, no município de Itaberaí. Em seguida fez-se a pesquisa de campo da própria IES (Instituições de Ensino Superior), em 2014, através de uma análise detalhada, organizada que proporcionou a busca de sugestões, projetos como alternativos para a melhoria da competitividade da IES privada de pequeno e médio porte, objeto de pesquisa. E, com base na pesquisa de campo, completada com a CPA (interna), em março e abril de 2013, analisou-se a realidade da pequena IES (Instituições de Ensino Superior), bem como a observação de sua influência no IDH (Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano) local. A pesquisa de campo abordou em conjunto: à aplicação de questionário, aplicação de entrevistas complementares por meio da metodologia CATI (por telefone) e individualmente, a representantes da comunidade local, alunos e ex-alunos da FAIT (Faculdade Aliança); já a Avaliação Institucional foi realizada pelo sistema on-line, através de Web Survey, aos alunos e funcionários da FAIT (Faculdade Aliança). A princípio, buscou-se compreender a realidade e o cenário da avaliação da Educação Superior brasileira no que se refere à pesquisa e a real fase que constitui o estabelecimento da pequena Faculdade, no município e região, instituição de ensino superior localizada na região do Centro Oeste-Goiano. Os resultados realizados na pequena IES-FAIT, ao comparar com a pesquisa apresentada pela ABMEIS (2013) sugerem maior cuidado e apoio a permanência das pequenas IES privadas, nos municípios, que estão instaladas, tendo em vista a importância dessas no IDH (Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano), mesmo diante das dificuldades financeiras que enfrentam. Pois, é nítida a influência das PMIES (Pequena e Média Instituição de Ensino Superior) ao desenvolvimento local e regional, com tendência a aumentar a renda per capita e econômica de cada região, a onde estão instaladas.

Em certos casos é uma condição de qualidade, mas em outros, imprescindível, como ocorre na educação. Entender a educação como um encontro de serviço não significa reduzir a importância desta atividade, mas sim qualificar suas práticas dentro de parâmetros conhecidos e qualidade pré- determinada. A Educação Superior Privada domina o panorama brasileiro, com números acima do patamar de 80% dos futuros profissionais, dos quais os de negócios aparecem como a maior categoria de discentes formados todos os anos. Diferenciar a mercantilização da educação de uma educação conduzida dentro da lógica do serviço é pertinente, visto que no entendimento deste estudo, os parâmetros educacionais históricos são carregados do viés ideológico, que pode ser substituído por métricas de qualidade isentas de ideologia, trocando esta por parâmetros concretos, com vistas à maior qualidade de conteúdo possível. Com base na Teoria da Autodeterminação e motivação acadêmica dos alunos de graduação, o estudo busca identificar o ponto crucial do ensino privado no qual o estudante como consumidor é direcionado a uma realidade mais próxima da ideal para aprendizagem, que é uma face híbrida desta prerrogativa, na qual o estudante é um co-produtor no locus educacional. Por intervenção de Etnometodologia, através da aplicação da técnica de Vignettes para estudantes do ensino superior privado, identificou-se como a co-criação de valor se adapta ao setor de ensino. Os resultados destacam especialmente o papel da autodeterminação como elemento central para co-criação, através da motivação intrínseca (desejo de aprender) em sua tênue relação com motivação extrínseca (avaliação). Identifica-se também que os estudantes podem ou não estar predispostos à co-criar, o que se manifesta em três comportamentos (os que desejam interação, os que não interagem por falta de estímulo, e aqueles que não gostam do trabalho coletivo). O entendimento dos estudantes sobre valor é limitado em utilitariedade. / The co-creation of value is an imperative practice in the atmosphere of service. In certain cases, a superior quality condition, but in other, indispensable, as it happens in the education. Understand the education as a service encounter doesn't mean reduce the importance of that activity; means increase the quality of practices through evident parameters and previous guaranteed quality. The Private Higher Education dominates the Brazilian scenario, with numbers above the 80% of the future professional forges; the majorities are business students, which appear as the bigest category of graduated students per year. Differentiate the education saled of an education matched inside the service logic is pertinent, because in the understanding of this study, the traditional educational parameters are loaded by the ideological inclination, that could be changed for quality metrics that extrapolate simple ideology, changing that practice for concrete parameters based in the increasing of the academic quality content. Based on Self-Determination Theory and academic motivation of undergraduate students, this research aims the identification of the focal point in private education where the students as consumers are drived to a better learning experience, a hybrid prerogative, in that the student is understood as a co-producer in educational locus. Through Ethnomethodological intervention, based in the Vignettes technic applied to private higher education students, the co-creation of value was identified as an adequate practice. The results specially identify the importance of the self-determination as a central element in co-creation, stimulated by intrinsic motivation (the wish to learn) and the thin relation with extrinsic motivation (evaluation). This study identifies that the co-creation is not always well undertood by students, and they expressed at least three types of behavior (wish to co-create, the non interactive behavior because is not a commom practice, and the preference to not work collectively). The students understanding about the concept of value is limited to utility.

After that, the categories of the information systems, the proposal of a model of strategical information system with its functional structure and applicabilities are demonstrated, the proposal of a management information system and the importance of the evaluation systems and strategical control. Reform of higher education within the context of the knowledge economy and societal change in Egypt

This study explores models for the reform of higher education in Egypt, and warns of potential consequences arising from the adoption of models based exclusively on the requirements of the knowledge economy and which fail to take account of the public role of national universities, socio-cultural realities and local as well as global pressures. The overall aim of the research is to identify the prerequisites for higher education reform in Egypt and the characteristics of a tailor-made reform model. It explores the role of higher education in Egypt, within the context of international organisations’ reform models for less-developed countries, and identifies the remits of the knowledge economy and knowledge society as frameworks for reforming higher education. This research has sought to answer questions on current conceptions of the role of higher education in Egypt and how these are being challenged by stakeholders. An exploratory study was designed using mixed methods. The research aim and objectives are achieved through a five-stage research process. The findings showed a general discontent among students and academics with higher education, and a near unanimity on the need for reform, particularly in the areas of teaching methods, curricula and university staff. The findings demonstrated that cultural issues deeply rooted in Egyptian society are preventing reform from being effective. The reform of higher education in Egypt should not only be part of an economic development vision, but a wider strategic vision for societal and cultural reform too. Reforming higher education in Egypt is a challenge, which will require consistent methodological rigour and a transformation of the current corrupted education culture prior to implementing the proposed OECD recommendations, or at the very least concurrent with any implementation.
