Apotekskunders informationsunderlag för att hålla reda på ordinerad läkemedelsbehandling / Pharmacy customers' means of support for surveying prescribed drug treatment

Hämäläinen, Sanna January 2018 (has links)
Totalt inkluderade 167 apotekskunder. / Background If patients have access to an adequate and updated list of prescribed drugs it will lead to reduced risk of medication error and thus to better quality of life at the individual level, as well as reduced public spending for medical care. In drug treatment, patient compliance is extremely important, as incorrect medical use can lead to severe consequences. For patients prescribed long-term treatment with drugs, compliance is estimated to be only 50% [1]. There are several different sources patients can utilize to keep updated with their prescribed drugs; The Medication List (ML) from the physicians’ electronic medical record[14]. The Prescription List (PL) with all prescriptions stored in the Swedish National Prescription Repository (NPR) accessible from any pharmacy in Sweden [19]. The Pharmacy Record List (PR) of the purchases on prescriptions made over the past 15-month period[15]. Paper prescriptions[20]. The pharmacy packaging labels[11]. Patients may also access their PL over the internet. Objective The purpose of the study was to investigate, via questionnaire interviews in pharmacies, what sources of information customers used to keep updated in their prescribed drugs. Patients with at least five or more prescription drugs (data from the NPR) were included in the survey. It was also investigated how many customers that had knowledge of and had received a printout of the PL "My stored prescription at the pharmacy" at visits in the pharmacies. It was also investigated to what extent customers had visited a public website, through personal login, to take part of their PL, and how often. Methods This survey is a follow-up of another study "Patients' information on their prescribed current treatment" published in 2012 [25]. In this study customers were recruited from 8 different pharmacies in Sweden. Customers where asked to answer questions from a questionnaire and a drug reconciliation was done. A total of 167 customers, with at least five prescribed drugs, were included. Key findings The majority, 55%, stated that they used the PL printout "My stored prescription at the pharmacy". 39% relied on instructions given on the of drug packages and the pharmacy labels with dosage instructions. 13% of the customers reported that they used the ML handed over from their physician. 8% stated that they used the website via personal login with e-ID to get to the PL ”My stored prescription at the pharmacy”. Conclusion On March 1, 2018, the government decided on the draft bill for a national pharmaceutical list. The list should provide a complete and up-to-date picture of the individual patient's drugs, regardless of who prescribed the drug and where in the country this occurred[19]. Thus, modernity development should lead to a reduced necessity of using several different sources for prescribed drugs, which can hopefully reduce the risk of errors in drug use and increase the overall patient safety.

Towards a business process model warehouse framework

Jacobs, Dina Elizabeth 31 March 2008 (has links)
This dissertation focuses on the re-use of business process reference models, available in a business process model warehouse, to enable the definition of more comprehensive business requirements. It proposes a business process model warehouse framework to promote the re-use of multiple business process reference models and the flexible visualisation of business process models. The critical success factor for such a framework is that it should contribute to minimise to some extent the causes of inadequate business requirements. The proposed framework is based on an analogy with a data warehouse framework, consisting of the following components: usage of multiple business process reference models as source models, the conceptual design of a process to extract, load and transform multiple business process reference models into a repository, a description of repository functionality for managing enterprise architecture artefacts, and motivation of flexible visualisation of business process models to ensure more comprehensive business requirements. / Computer Science (School of Computing) / M.Sc. / Salvador

Modeling of Secure Dependable (S&D) applications based on patterns for Resource-Constrained Embedded Systems (RCES) / Modélisation des applications "sécurisées et sûres" (S&D) à base de patrons pour des systèmes embarqués contraints en ressources (RCES)

Ziani, Adel 19 September 2013 (has links)
Non-functional requirements such as Security and Dependability (S&D) become more and more important as well as more and more difficult to achieve, particularly in embedded systems development. Such systems come with a large number of common characteristics, including real-time and temperature constraints, security and dependability as well as efficiency requirements. In particular, the development of Resource Constrained Embedded Systems (RCES) has to address constraints regarding memory, computational processing power and/or energy consumption. In this work, we propose a modeling environment which associates model-driven paradigm and a model-based repository, to support the design and the packaging of S&D patterns, resource models and their property models. The approach is based on a set of modeling languages coupled with a model-repository, search and instantiation engines towards specific development environments. These modeling languages allow to specify patterns, resources and a set of property models. These property models will allow to govern the use of patterns and their analysis for reuse. In addition, we propose a specification and generation process of repositories. As part of the assistance for the development of S&D applications, we have implemented a suite of tool-chain based on the Eclipse platform to support the different activities around the repository, including the analysis activities. The proposed solutions were evaluated in the TERESA project through a case study from the railway domain.

We can see the increase of people using this technology, since its creation in the beginning of 1990 decade, and we can highlight the elderly users. These users find in the Web an environment in which they can develop different activities, as easily dealing with daily duties and getting information about subjects related to aging, among others. However, we verify that the Web information environments do not have an Information Architecture developed with the specific necessities of this public, making difficult the use and access, and then, making hard the digital and social inclusion of this users group. In this context, our objective is to identify elements that enable the social and digital inclusion of the elderly using the study of Information Architecture, Usability, Accessibility and Information Behavior, in the Information Science context, as well as the application of this elements in a digital repository built for the Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade – UNATI – UNESP. We consider that a digital repository that deals with subjects of interests and production of elderly and that presents inclusive elements makes possible their digital and social inclusion. We used the action-research to realize the research. The action-research makes possible for the researcher and participants the identification of problems and objectives of the research as well as the planning and execution of actions for its resolution. With advance of the Web, diverse environments of teaching and learning make possible the production and distribution of multimedia contents for the use of learners and teachers. However the contents access still is one of the main problems for the use and sharing between different applications. The document representation in Semantic Web is related to the use of metadata to describe resources. In Web-based education, diverses standards have been considered to provide sharing learning resources in distributed form. One believes that ontology use allows one better conceptualization and domain representation, making possible the formalization of the metadata schema for learning object management. One presents an Aggregation and Representation Content Model for conceptualization of a Semantic Learning Object Repository. The Aggregation Model makes use of standard LOM (Learning Object Metadata) to describe and add educational contents. The Content Representation Model is a Classification Schema based on SKOS (Simple Knowledge Organisation Systems) standard destined the specification of knowledge organisation systems in the Semantics Web. It was use OWL language (Web Ontology Language) for ontology construction and framework Jena for manipulation of the ontological model. In such a way, it argues concepts associates the educational technologies, perspectives and challenges for knowledge representation on the Web, and for the development of new generation of the Web. Research Ontology Data Models for Data and Metadata Exchange Repository

Kamenieva, Iryna January 2009 (has links)
For researches in the field of the data mining and machine learning the necessary condition is an availability of various input data set. Now researchers create the databases of such sets. Examples of the following systems are: The UCI Machine Learning Repository, Data Envelopment Analysis Dataset Repository, XMLData Repository, Frequent Itemset Mining Dataset Repository. Along with above specified statistical repositories, the whole pleiad from simple filestores to specialized repositories can be used by researchers during solution of applied tasks, researches of own algorithms and scientific problems. It would seem, a single complexity for the user will be search and direct understanding of structure of so separated storages of the information. However detailed research of such repositories leads us to comprehension of deeper problems existing in usage of data. In particular a complete mismatch and rigidity of data files structure with SDMX - Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange - standard and structure used by many European organizations, impossibility of preliminary data origination to the concrete applied task, lack of data usage history for those or other scientific and applied tasks. Now there are lots of methods of data miming, as well as quantities of data stored in various repositories. In repositories there are no methods of DM (data miming) and moreover, methods are not linked to application areas. An essential problem is subject domain link (problem domain), methods of DM and datasets for an appropriate method. Therefore in this work we consider the building problem of ontological models of DM methods, interaction description of methods of data corresponding to them from repositories and intelligent agents allowing the statistical repository user to choose the appropriate method and data corresponding to the solved task. In this work the system structure is offered, the intelligent search agent on ontological model of DM methods considering the personal inquiries of the user is realized. For implementation of an intelligent data and metadata exchange repository the agent oriented approach has been selected. The model uses the service oriented architecture. Here is used the cross platform programming language Java, multi-agent platform Jadex, database server Oracle Spatial 10g, and also the development environment for ontological models - Protégé Version 3.4.
