Trabalho em equipe de saúde e de enfermagem: análise sistemática da literatura / Working in teams of health and nursing: systematic review of literature

Bianca Canoletti 09 June 2008 (has links)
The tool of work as a team is proposed to organize the work in health and nursing as a way to answer to the changes of the model of primary health care and the paradigm of attention to mental health. Recognizing its importance in the current context, took place a systematic review of literature about the work as a team in health and nursing, with the objective of identifying the production and look at it critically, according to the quantity, chronology, nationality, institution of origin and the type of search; reference theoretical and methodological adopted; results and their contributions as a basis of knowledge for the care and management of health services. The theoretical reference used was the work process based in Mendez-Gonçalvez and Mehry, and work in teams, based in Peduzzi. Methodologically, the study followed the path of systematic review, with the active search for publications in databases online through descriptors and keywords related to teamwork. Although the first search has returned a large number of publications (1837 articles), after the various procedures for selecting the relevant literature, were selected 70 publications. The results include the difficulty in researching the topic in databases, particularly given the lack of definition of terms and interdisciplinary work in teams, as well as the lack of methodological rigor and conceptual of the articles. The work in teams was designed as a group and interdisciplinary process, which says positive synergy, coordination, cooperation and collective responsibility, sharing common objectives and interaction between members, possible through communication. The elements identified to characterize the work as a team, beyond those cited in the design, include a professional autonomy, the division of labour flexibility and comprehensiveness of health care. The conclusion of the study highlights the need for deepening of theoretical and empirical research on the issue to justify its theoretical approach, and provide subsidies for the formulation of proposals to improve the practical use of the work as a team, as well as its systematic assessment

Sundesten, Johanna, Andreasson, Magdalena January 2020 (has links)
Background: Interprofessional teamwork in health care is becoming more common, and improvements has been seen in areas such as, patient safety and person-cantered care. There is limited research on how registered nurses experience interprofessional teamwork in an emergency department. Aim: To describe nurses' experiences of interprofessional teamwork in emergency departments. Method: a qualitative interview study with ten registered nurses from two emergency units. The data collection took place through individual semi-structured interviews. Ten nurses who worked with interprofessional teamwork in an emergency department were interviewed at two different hospitals. Qualitative content analysis was then used to analyse the collected data. Result: The result revealed four themes, conditions and barriers to interprofessional teamwork, increased opportunities for good nursing, the effects of closer collaboration, and the patient being part of the team. These themes were divided in further categories. The result shows that many different factors were involved in a well-functioning interprofessional team work. Factors that cannot be influenced and factors that may need to be addressed and taken into account or adjusted. Conclusion: The result showed that the nurse had mostly positive experiences of interprofessional teamwork, but there are also several factors that can influence the overall result of interprofessional teamwork for the different professions and the patients.

Förutsättningar att vårda patient med trauma nivå-1 : En kvalitativ intervjustudie av operationssjuksköterskans erfarenheter / Qualifications needed to care for trauma level-1 patients : A qualitative interview study of operation theater nurses experiences

Andersson, My, Pettersson, Annika January 2020 (has links)
Background: Trauma care is included in Swedish healthcare services. A patient in need of trauma care is treated by the severity of injuries. According to national guidelines trauma is divided into two different levels, level-1 being the most severe that often require lifesaving efforts. Operating theater nurses is one of the team members that is part of the operative care. Professional competence is required along with stress resistance in the pre- and intraoperative care. The aim: The aim of the study was to illustrate experiences of operating theater nurse´s care of patients with trauma level-1 with focus on qualifications.   Method: A qualitative method was used where the data material was analyzed with qualitative content analysis. The data is based on interviews with ten operating theater nurses from a University hospital and a regional hospital. Results: One main theme with three underlying categories emerged. Operating theater nurses participation in provided care and sense of safety is an overall theme that contains three categories which are personal and professional resources, learning resources and organizational resources, each with associated subcategories. Conclusion: Participation in the trauma care, sense of safety and a variety of learning sources was evident as qualifications for care. Structure and leadership was further conditions that emerged as important parts for collaboration that enhances the possibility for the operation theater nurse to perform trauma care level-1.

Communication Networks and Team Workload in a Command and Control Synthetic Task Environment

January 2020 (has links)
abstract: Despite the prevalence of teams in complex sociotechnical systems, current approaches to understanding workload tend to focus on the individual operator. However, research suggests that team workload has emergent properties and is not necessarily equivalent to the aggregate of individual workload. Assessment of communications provides a means of examining aspects of team workload in highly interdependent teams. This thesis set out to explore how communications are associated with team workload and performance under high task demand in all-human and human–autonomy teams in a command and control task. A social network analysis approach was used to analyze the communications of 30 different teams, each with three members operating in a command and control task environment of over a series of five missions. Teams were assigned to conditions differentiated by their composition with either a naïve participant, a trained confederate, or a synthetic agent in the pilot role. Social network analysis measures of centralization and intensity were used to assess differences in communications between team types and under different levels of demand, and relationships between communication measures, performance, and workload distributions were also examined. Results indicated that indegree centralization was greater in the all-human control teams than in the other team types, but degree centrality standard deviation and intensity were greatest in teams with a highly trained experimenter pilot. In all three team types, the intensity of communications and degree centrality standard deviation appeared to decrease during the high demand mission, but indegree and outdegree centralization did not. Higher communication intensity was associated with more efficient target processing and more successful target photos per mission, but a clear relationship between measures of performance and decentralization of communications was not found. / Dissertation/Thesis / Masters Thesis Human Systems Engineering 2020

Faktorer som inverkar på luftvägshantering inom anestesi : En systematisk litteraturstudie / Factors that impacts airway management in anesthesia : A systematic literature review

Sundblom, Tomas, Backlund, Lina January 2021 (has links)

Exploring facilitation skills in asset-based transdisciplinary teamwork

Ferreira, Judite 17 March 2005 (has links)
Much has been researched on how to manage and participate in teams, as well as on teamwork in transdisciplinary and early intervention groups. However, no single source adequately details the skills needed to facilitate such a unique group as that of the asset-based transdisciplinary team. A limitation in the theoretical body of knowledge regarding this subject matter spurred the purpose of this study to explore the facilitation skills conducive to asset-based transdisciplinary teams. A conceptual framework was created from the researcher’s perspective of the theoretical knowledge researched and acquired. Applying an interpretative epistemology, the instrumental case study was chosen as research design to explore groups of transdisciplinary team members. Two focus group interviews were conducted, transcribed, qualitatively analysed with the supplements of field notes and coded with the help of two independent coders. Theoretical assumptions were tested, interrelations shown, categories and themes short-listed and criticisms from the participants considered. It was found that skills alone do not suffice to equip members in their facilitation of asset-based transdisciplinary teams. Attitudes of involvement, flexibility, support, transparency and trust; approaches that are asset-based, narrative, holistic and family-centred and possessing knowledge of diversity, ethics, teamwork and discipline expertise were considered paramount to the competence of a facilitator. It is recommended that in future research of facilitation, attention be given not only to the skills acquired, but also to the knowledge, attitudes and approaches needed. Combination of categories, integrating skills, attitudes, approaches and knowledge should also be investigated. It is recommended that the role of the caregiver be given greater status among health professions and that the findings of this study be applied in the pre- and in-service training of prospective health professionals and facilitators. Asset-based theory was informed by emphasising the importance of facilitation skills, and acquiring appropriate attitudes, approaches and knowledge in order to ensure successful implantation of those skills. The inclusion of role release underscored the need to facilitate networking and encourage shared leadership and the narrative approach also presented itself as a possible addition to asset-based theory. Finally, as a development of the collaborative project in Early Childhood Intervention, interpretations from focus group interviews as well as research in literature were used for the Masters degree in Early Childhood Intervention (MECI) in the Educational Psychology elective module. / Dissertation (MEd (Educational Psychology))--University of Pretoria, 2004. / Educational Psychology / unrestricted
