Vaikų saugumo internete užtikrinimo įgūdžių sertifikavimo programos tyrimas / Research of the certification programme on skills of ensuring children safety using internet

Lukoševičius, Mantas 25 November 2010 (has links)
• Sukurti... [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The main purpose of the paper is to develop a certification programme on Skills ensuring children safety using Internet. In order to acheve this goal, five tasks were formed: • Explore current ECDL certification programmes aiming to specialized programmes. • Explore the standards of new ECDL programmes developement. • Develop the e-Guardian programme syllabus which would be as much hardware platform and software independent as possible. • Develop the e-Guardian certification programme questions test base for automotive testing. • Place the e-Guardian certification programme questions test base on the ECDL-Lithuania testing system. • Examine ECDL Foundation quality management requirements of the e-Guardian syllabus and AQTB. To achieve these tasks such research methods as nonfiction analysis and summation, expert and user surveys, observation, experiments, statistical analysis were used. The theoretical part explores ECDL certification programmes, ECDL programme development standards, e-Guardian programme part among the ECDL Foundation products. The methods for developing ECDL programmes are described in second part. The guardian ad litem is like a spider in a web : A qualitative study on the guardian ad litems role  and their relation to unaccompanied minors, from the perspective of the guardian ad litem.

Vitija, Albana, Hassan, Dilan January 2014 (has links)
This study is about a guardian ad litem mission, role and relation to unaccompanied children. On the basis of qualitative interviews the study aims to understand the trustees’ role and relation to unaccompanied children. We chose to interview nine trustees to achieve a better insight of the trustees roll. We analyzed the interviews and tried to gain a better knowledge about a guardian ad litem mission, role and relationship to unaccompanied children with role theory and concepts off pastoral power and trust. Our results demonstrate that the guardian ad litem task is complex. Their mission in the legislation is not clearly defined but it covers the general welfare of the child. Complying with unaccompanied children to various meetings with government agencies such as immigration office, tax office, social services, and help with their finances. As a conclusion we now understand that to be a guardian ad litem to unaccompanied children requires a great deal of effort and commitment. They have to actively be able to engage themselves into the role of a guardian ad litem. A guardian ad litem is like a parent for these children helping and guiding those to the new society.

Former President of a Former Colony : How The Guardian reported on the final events leading to Robert Mugabe’s resignation

Lindholm, Henric January 2018 (has links)
During the month of November 2017, the President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe was taken into custody by Zimbabwe’s military. This was a move in order to shift the governmental power after which Mugabe after almost 40 years as President of Zimbabwe resigned from his post.   The thesis contains a Ccritical Ddiscourse Aanalysis of articles published by one of the world’s great newspapers during this shift of power. The newspaper analysed is the British newspaper ‘The Guardian’. The analysis studied which characters and major topics are represented in the articles and how they are represented to see what fits inside The Guardian’s news reporting on the final events in the shift of power in Zimbabwe. In order to find these discursive attributes, pictures linked to the articles were analysed, the context in which the events happened as well as the discourse used in the articles from a perspective of orientalism, post-colonialism and ideology. Other theoretical aspects used are framing, representation and critical Critical Ddiscourse Sstudies.   The empirical case in this research project involves three articles collected from T‘the Guardian ’ reaching from the reporting of Mugabe’s firing of his vice President, Emmerson Mnangagwa to the reporting of Robert Mugabe resigning as President of Zimbabwe.   The interest in this study is springing from the normative approach of news media to provide an objective story to the readers while providing the whole picture. With this mission many different challenges come along of orientalist and post-colonial character, as ‘the Guardian’The Guardian is a British newspaper and Zimbabwe being a former British colony.   The results concluded an absence of post-colonial and orientalist representations in the news frames regarding Zimbabwe and its population, the most ideologically charged instances rather revolved around Robert and Grace Mugabe.
