Fiorelli, Erika Cristina Mashorca. January 2011 (has links)
In an attempt to correct the deficiencies brought to light in these educational evaluations, above all with respect to reading and writing, the project Full-Time School was implemented in the state of São Paulo public school system in December 2005. The schools that adopted the curricular proposal of Full-Time Schools began to offer, in addition to the subjects of the basic curriculum, curricular workshops based on proposals of dynamic and diversified activities linked to the school's teaching plans and pedagogical project. One of the workshops offered is the "Reading Time" workshop, which seeks to prioritize reader qualifications by using methodological procedures that favor new learning opportunities and expand the students' reading scope in a pleasant manner. The present work through case study proposes to investigate the implementation of the "Reading Time Workshop", within the context of the Full-Time School proposal, in order to diagnose the workshop's contributions to readers' qualifications. Search results point to the need to restructure the curriculum of undergraduate courses in Public and Private Universities for teacher training and practice to be developed in school full time and also in continuing education / Mestre

Liana Timm : vida de artista e artista da vida / When the computer becomes a workshop of artistic creation. Liana Timm : life as an artist and artist of life

Thomazoni, Andresa Ribeiro January 2014 (has links)
The present thesis was developed in the Computer in Education Postgraduate Program, as part of the "Digital interfaces in education, art, language and cognition" line of research. This is an interdisciplinary research that sought to weave a dialogue between art and technology. More specifically, an investigation was carried out regarding the digital image, comprising it as produced by a machinic assemblage between the computer considered as a workshop and the body-artist. From this landscape, the research on digital image sought to explore the possibilities of indeterminacy in the image, ie, its creation and invention possibilities, a kind of digging done to show the pixel as the smallest element of the image. Methodologically, it was done a cartography, picking up the pieces of digital images made by Brazilian artist, Liana Timm. We took Liana as an aesthetic character and her works as the trigger of the problematization about the digital images produced in a creationist clash with the computer-workshop. We seek, therefore, to open up other spaces to discuss the digital image and its possible connections as well as to firm the computer as a potency to foment machinisms producers of difference and invention.

Waste sorting : A proposed social design workshop to improve behaviour and management of recycling.

Ravn, Albertina January 2018 (has links)
This study and design concept explores the need for a change of the behaviour and recycling knowledge in Nybro Municipality, situated in Eastern Sweden.  The main aim of this study is to provide support for discussion and act as an inspiration for the future development of projects with participatory citizenship. Additionally, to invigorate the need for a sustainable and circular waste management to reach sustainable development.  The theoretical framework set up for this study focus on sustainable development, citizens’ behaviour and knowledge of recycling. The explorative research stage of the project is performed through several methods, including interviews with current waste management companies and Nybro Municipality’s Sustainability Department. Furthermore, a survey of the citizens of Nybro municipality, to investigate the behaviour and knowledge about recycling. Correspondingly, relevant secondary research and compulsory review of the context, waste management and circular economy in Sweden, but also the behaviour within recycling of the system users - citizens, is being examined. The project focuses on sorting and analysing the data and findings by using methods of several different visual thinking tools.  The outcome of the project is a proposal of a design concept to facilitate the recycling of waste for the citizens as the users. Moreover, to emphasize the need and importance of recycling our everyday waste materials. This project is not a solution-based project, but more widely to provide a basis for discussion and inspire.  The goal is to find a way that encourages citizens to recycle waste from products purchased in their daily living. A social design workshop, focusing on circular waste management and recycling behaviour, together with the citizens living in Nybro municipality, will be proposed and co-designed with the municipality’s sustainability department of Nybro Municipality.

Umělecké tendence v krajině

Syrová, Hana January 2015 (has links)
The thesis deals with artistic tendencies in the landscape from the sixties to the present. The main attention is focused on historical basics of land art, land art formation in Czech republic and the difference between the American and the European approach in creation. An important issue is finding connections between land art and landscape architecture. The paper describes selected foreign and domestic authors who deal with creation of new public spaces, lying on the border between land art, sculpture and landscape architecture. The literature review also raises the question of applied land art, which uses forms of land art (the same means of expressions and principles) to achieve another objective (eg. solving problems and needs). This direction drifts the form of land art into the interdisciplinary area where the land meets the sociology, landscape architecture, history and other fields that have an impact on shaping of the landscape. Hence projects are created allowing the strengthening of the historical, economic, social and landscape features. It thus creates an opportunity where people can experience the landscape and feel sense of belonging. The practical part outlines the problems of landscape in the project area - Anenská Studánka, arising from landscape analysis.Solution to cultural problems is suggested through applied land art that helps us to talk to people about the problems of the landscape. As a form of applied art land a public exhibition of art in the landscape was chosen, which enables us to attract people to the landscape, to identify problems and landscape values, raise awareness about the history of the site and allow a common experience in the landscape. Applied land art was tested in project Hřebečsko - a region that (DID NOT) disappear(ed), which aimed to raise awareness of local people about the history and identity of the place they live in, and gradually restore the lost relationship between people and the landscape. The aim was to address mainly local people and create a space for meeting, sharing and forming new relationships through the shared experience. The benefit of this thesis is the realization of the project as the main organizer. The thesis thus brings practical experience and knowledge of organizing events (own know - how). The work can serve as a guide for organizing similar projects, which are transferable to other locations.

Tecendo imagens : operando experiências no plano do "comum"

Spohr, Fúlvia da Silva January 2011 (has links)
The main objective of this study is to report how an experience with video technology changed the way the actions were coordinated, the distinctions and emotions are produced in the group of people who work and use the mental health service, o CAPS II Cais Mental Centro/POA. The Image Workshop is a therapeutic activity, in which there are image productions, and they can be transformed into many films. The research focuses on the effects that are trigged through the problematization, concerned to a serie of video images, produced by the group that participated of the Workshop, that were discarded, as well as on the others that were used in the construction of a film. The group was not sure which images could be used in the film. At the Editing Workshop, it was suggested that the discarded images, the nonsense ones, could be used: the ones that were blurred, blur and did not fit in the construction of a video, so we concluded that it was possible to add what was considered firstly something excluded. Editing was performed by the group in the digital image editing, through the Windows Movie Maker. The process trigged many other networks for dialogue, different from the one that was constructed at the Image Workshop inicially, but we cannot consider the former more or less important than the recently produced, they were just seen as new and an opportunity to share experiencies. So, we invit the reader to follow, through the pachwork effect (a narrative resource), the operative replacement that were produced in the Workshops, in the network dialogues. Thus, through a methodological perspective of an intervention research, we present some of the replacement, produced at Editing Image Workshop. The experience that the participants of the group had with the computer, the editing and discarted images, changed the networks for dialogue, that were performed in the action and while the images were produced, so that they develop social inclusion, authorship and the construction of many other ways to deal with health/mental illness, building a new plan of sharing and also political, when many experiences were operated in a level whose experience were shared by all the participantes.

Criando laços via recursos informatizados : intervenção em saúde mental

Francisco, Deise Juliana January 2007 (has links)
The thesis is placed in the movement of the psychiatric reform in Brazil. From a partnership firmed between URI - Campus Santo Ângelo and psychosocial attention center (CAPS) was constructed project. It aims at the constitution of virtual spaces for nets and exchanges between for people in need of mental health care. In the continuation of three years group-workshops of computer with thirty people in psychic suffering had been carried through. Such process was registered in daily of formal and informal field, interviews with participants and team of the CAPS, photographs, filmings, archives of data. The thesis had as objective to map the relations human being-machine and the occured compositions of nets. One is about a qualitative research, in the intervention research. The theoretical referencial that marked out with buoys the thesis was the Philosophy of the Difference in the perspective to think the processes of subjetivation and the technology as well as the control society; articulated with ways of subjectivation and power relations based on a Foucaultian approach; and about institution. From the cartography he was possible to carried through couplings manmachine in the workshop, the displacement of the place for the participant for the one of creator. Thus, the coupling with the digital technology had a vector for the constitution of a common one, but not in the communitarian direction and yes in the “desobramento” of the production as constitution of the same workmanship. This if gave in collective works having as vector the religion, familiar subjects of interest of the participants (as search of information on diseases, treatment, prescriptions, images, cards) and relations with and team of the CAPS.
