Har övergången från det förmoderna samhället till det moderna bara inneburit positiva framsteg? Uppsatsen fokuserar framförallt på sociologiska författare som gör gällande att moderniteten bland annat har resulterat i att individer i större utsträckning än tidigare upplever en meningsförlust. En del av dessa författare anser att bristen på mening indirekt kan relateras till den tilltagande arbetsdelningen. Arbetsdelningen ger nämligen upphov till strukturella såväl som kulturella förändringar, och dessa förändringar ger i sin tur upphov till olika former av upplevd meningsförlust. De områden som påverkas av arbetsdelningen och som behandlas i denna uppsats är rollernas differentiering, gemenskapernas urvattning, kunskapernas fragmentering, samt relativismens och pluralismens effekter på det som tidigare ansetts vara givet och självklart.Roller och gemenskap är strukturella fenomen, medan kunskap och relativism är fenomen på det kulturella planet. I tidigare samhällen har kulturen givit legitimitet åt strukturen. Detta innebar bland annat att religion och tradition tilldelade alla individer en plats och förklarade varför världen ser ut som den gör. Problemet i det moderna samhället tycks vara att den moderna kulturen inte bara misslyckas med att legitimera den nya strukturen, utan att den dessutom bidrar till att underblåsa känslan av meningslöshet.

In this essay, we have chosen to focus on a wonder regarding where Swedish company management is headed. With that said, we are interested in seeing some form of future prospect, which we can never really take for granted since the future has not yet occurred. With that said, we have chosen to relate to the future in a specific way. Mainly through Johan Asplund and his tankefigursmodell. Through this work, we answer various wounderings, such as "What does Swedish business management mean?", "What does Swedish business management look like?" and "What is said in relation to future Swedish company management, and what does it mean?". We have chosen to approach our main wonder through an Asplundisk approach with focus on aspect vision, meaning statements, fixation images and tankefigurer. We address our wonder in the theoretical field by looking at Swedish business management from three aspects in time; the past, the present and the future. We address the empirical field by looking at two aspects. First, we look to Swedish recruitment companies to form an idea of what type of people they are looking for in leading positions for the future. Secondly, by looking at OMX30's annual reports, we listen to “the CEO: have the floor”, to interpret how they view future Swedish company management. We come to the conclusion that there is a movement happening regarding Swedish company management that takes place over time. The movement takes us from the tankefigur of the past “Tänkare eller Görare” to the tankefigur of the future “Tänkande Görare”. We note that it seems like the present constructs the idea of the future man in a rather tricky way and that there are tensions between what is said and what is done, in relation to the future. Wonders that we acknowledge in our conclusion are for example; Are sustainability aspects a facade and are the conversations about complexity and uncertainty perhaps not as new and future as we seem to think? Has it become a convention in relation to Swedish company management to speak in certain terms? What is typically Swedish and does this differ from the outside world? Through this work our contribution is, in our opinion, twofold. On the one hand, we have a contribution that lies in the fact that through our wondering approach we interpret the tankefigur of the future, its overarching discourses and corresponding basis and look at the meaning of what we can see. Secondly, the contribution lies in the approach itself. The way we choose to write this essay might differ from the convergence and can thus create wonders and revelations for someone else, which might be enlightening or eye opening. / I denna uppsats har vi valt att fokusera på en undran om vart svensk företagsledning är på väg. Med det sagt är vi intresserade av att se någon form av framtidsutsikt. Vi är dock medvetna om att vi inte kan ta framtiden för givet eller konstatera den som självklar, eftersom den ännu inte har inträffat. Med det sagt har vi valt att förhålla oss till framtiden på ett specifikt sätt. Främst genom Johan Asplund och hans tankefigursmodell. Genom detta arbete svarar vi på olika undringar, såsom "Vad betyder svensk företagsledning?", "Hur ser svensk företagsledning ut?" och "Vad talas det om i förhållande till framtida svensk företagsledning och vad betyder det?". Vi har valt att närma oss vår huvudsakliga undran genom ett Asplundiskt synsätt med fokus på aspektseende, betydelseangivelse, fixeringsbilder och tankefigurer. Vi tar upp vår undran inom det teoretiska området genom att undersöka svensk företagsledning ur tre aspekter; dåtiden, nuet och framtiden. Vi tar upp svensk företagsledning i relation till vår empiriska undersökning genom att se till två aspekter. Först vänder vi oss till svenska rekryteringsföretag för att bilda oss en uppfattning om vilken typ av personer de söker till ledande positioner inför framtiden. För det andra, genom att titta på OMX30:s årsredovisningar, lyssnar vi på ”VD:n: har ordet”, för att tolka hur de ser på framtida svensk företagsledning. Vi kommer fram till att det sker en rörelse kring svensk företagsledning som sker över tid. Rörelsen tar oss från dåtidens tankfigur "Tänkare eller Görare" till framtidens tankfigur "Tänkande Görare". Vi noterar att det verkar som om nutiden konstruerar idén om den framtida människan på ett ganska knepigt sätt och att det finns spänningar mellan det som sägs och det som görs, i förhållande till framtiden. Undringar som vi uppmärksammar i vår reflektion och slutsats är bland annat; Är hållbarhetsaspekter en fasad och är samtalen om komplexitet och osäkerhet kanske inte så nya och framtida som vi verkar tro? Har det blivit en norm, förhållande till svensk företagsledning, att tala i vissa termer? Vad är typiskt svenskt och skiljer sig detta typiska från omvärlden? Genom detta arbete är vårt bidrag, enligt vår mening, tvåsidigt. För det första har vi ett bidrag i tolkandet av framtidens tankefigur, dess övergripande diskurser och motsvarande bas samt vårt undrande förhållningssätt när det kommer till innebörden av det vi kan se. För det andra ligger bidraget i själva tillvägagångssättet. Vi väljer att skriva den här uppsatsen på ett sätt som kan skilja sig från normen gällande uppsatsskrivande. Detta hoppas vi kan skapa undringar och nyfikenhet hos någon annan, vilket kan vara upplysande eller ögonöppnande.

2030 marks the 100-year anniversary of The Stockholm Exhibition 1930 and what is often described as an important breakthrough of modernism in Sweden. The “special exhibition” Svea Rike - with the task of strengthening the national identity- has not been given the same attention as other exhibition halls in The Stockholm Exhibition in architectural history. Svea Rike was not part of the initial plans of The Stockholm Exhibition 1930 and is therefore missing in the early and most published plans and models of the exhibition. Exterior and interior photographs of the special exhibition disclose parts of Svea Rike but it’s never entirely uncovered.  In the Svea Rike pavilion at The Stockholm Exhibition 1930 the development of Sweden was shown in a full picture and near the entrance, Herman Lundborg, Head of the State Institute for Racial Biology in Uppsala presented his work on typical racial descriptions and the significance of heritage through photographs, sculptures, and illustration. To see the building Svea Rike is also to see how race and modernity are interconnected and central in the history. Through careful research into archives and collections, examining drawings, photographs, objects, correspondence and other texts, this project aims to find out what the building Svea Rike looked like. Through reading, investigating, approximating, drawing, and model, information is overlapped and a reconstruction of Svea Rike offers a way to see the Stockholm Exhibition from the building Svea Rike.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur brukare påverkas av att det finns hundar i form av djurassisterade insatser i den kommunala, dagliga LSSverksamheten i Dalarnas län. Det är en kvalitativ studie som inleddes genom en kvantitativ kartläggning rörande förekomsten av hundar eller andra djur i alla kommunala LSS-verksamheter i Dalarna. Den begränsas till personalens perspektiv på effekten av hundassisterade insatser gällande målgruppen och resultaten baseras på halvstrukturerade intervjuer med personal från samtliga kommunala dagverksamheter i Dalarna, där brukare erbjuds hundassisterade insatser. Resultaten har analyserats med hjälp av tidigare forskning, KASAM och social responsivitet. De visar hur och att den hundassisterade insatsen främjar psykiskt och fysiskt välbefinnande samt motiverar verksamhetens brukare till att utveckla fysiska, psykiska och sociala färdigheter. Jag fann belägg för att människor mår bra av att umgås med hundar och att brukare drar fördel av hundassisterade insatser – på många olika sätt. / The aim of the present study was to investigate how users are influenced by animal-assisted interventions with dogs in municipal day-care centres (developing centres or working places for persons with autism and/or intellectual disabilities) in Dalarna County. This is a qualitative study, initiated through a quantitative mapping concerning the presence of dogs or other animals in all municipal LSS day-care centres in Dalarna. Its limited to the staff perspective on the impact of dog-assisted interventions on the target group, and results are based on semistructured interviews with staff from all municipal day-care centres in Dalarna, where users are offered dog-assisted interventions. The results where analysed through previous research, KASAM and social responsiveness. They show that the dog-assisted interventions promote mental/physical wellbeing and motivate the users of the day-care centres to develop physical, mental and social skills. I found evidence that users benefit from animal-assisted interventions with dogs – in many ways.

Le but de cette thèse est d'étudier les trois problèmes suivantes : 1) On s'intéresse à la stabilité des cônes normaux et des sous-différentiels via deux types de convergence d'ensembles et de fonctions : La convergence au sens de Mosco et celle d'Attouch-Wets. Les résultats obtenus peuvent être vus comme une extension du théorème d'Attouch aux fonctions non nécessairement convexes sur des espaces de Banach localement uniformément convexes. 2) Pour une bornologie β donnée sur un espace de Banach X, on étudie la validité de la formule suivante (…). Ici Tβ(C; x) et Tc(C; x) désignent le β -cône tangent et le cône tangent de Clarke à C en x. On montre que si, X x X est ∂β-« trusted » alors cette formule est valable pour tout ensemble fermé non vide C ⊂ X et x ∈ C. On montre aussi que la propriété Kadec-Klee n'est plus exigée lorsque l'ensemble de Chebyshev est représenté comme une union d'ensembles convexes fermés. / The aim of this thesis is to study the following three problems: 1) We are concerned with the behavior of normal cones and subdifferentials with respect to two types of convergence of sets and functions: Mosco and Attouch-Wets convergences. Our analysis is devoted to proximal, Fréchet, and Mordukhovich limiting normal cones and subdifferentials. The results obtained can be seen as extensions of Attouch theorem to the context of non-convex functions on locally uniformly convex Banach space. 2) For a given bornology β on a Banach space X we are interested in the validity of the following "lim inf" formula (…).Here Tβ(C; x) and Tc(C; x) denote the β-tangent cone and the Clarke tangent cone to C at x. We proved that it holds true for every closed set C ⊂ X and any x ∈ C, provided that the space X x X is ∂β-trusted. The trustworthiness includes spaces with an equivalent β-differentiable norm or more generally with a Lipschitz β-differentiable bump function. As a consequence, we show that for the Fréchet bornology, this "lim inf" formula characterizes in fact the Asplund property of X. 3) We investigate the convexity of Chebyshev sets. It is well known that in a smooth reflexive Banach space with the Kadec-Klee property every weakly closed Chebyshev subset is convex. We prove that the condition of the weak closedness can be replaced by the local weak closedness, that is, for any x ∈ C there is ∈ > 0 such that C ∩ B(x, ε) is weakly closed. We also prove that the Kadec-Klee property is not required when the Chebyshev set is represented by a finite union of closed convex sets.

This thesis explores the architecture, interior design and furniture design of Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999), a pioneering Swedish Modernist who emigrated to the United States in 1940 and became part of the design movement California Modern in Los Angeles. Despite a productive and acclaimed career, her work was more or less forgotten until rediscovered in the early 2000’s.In this thesis, Greta Magnusson Grossman’s broader context is understood through literature studies of the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition, the introduction of Swedish Modern at the 1939 New York World’s Fair, the postwar design movement California Modern, and the International Competition for Low-Cost Furniture Design organized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1948. Similar needs for well designed, low cost housing and furniture in the two countries are found.To further examine the work of Magnusson Grossman, her 1949 residence at Waynecrest Drive in Los Angeles is visually analyzed and compared with contemporary Case Study House #8 by American design couple Charles and Ray Eames from 1949, and Swedish furniture designer and architect Bruno Mathsson’s Exhibition Hall from 1950. Several correlations between the three environments are identified, and confirms Greta Magnusson Grossman’s progressive contributions in the fields of architecture, interiors and furniture design.
