No. of bitstreams: 1 Bernardo Gasparotto.pdf: 1252076 bytes, checksum: 30ee9e02841cc8298727a2453b383ec4 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-02-28 / Basing itself upon the assumptions of Compared Literature, the present research aims to demonstrate that the dialogical relations established between the Spanish and the Hispano-American literature, when referred to the productions that handle with the theme of the discovery of America, after the publication of Vigilia del Almirante (1992), by the Paraguayan writer Augusto Roa Bastos. Such work reveals itself as a sort of synthesis of the Hispano-American vision about the theme, working like a parting of the waters when it comes to the production of historical novels, being produced from it, in the context of the discovery poetics, only mediation contemporary historical novels. This happens also in Spain, that for the first time, within this context, presents a work that deals with a distinct perspective from the one traditionally adopted by Spanish authors, promoting the dialogue with the Hispano- American literature. This is the novel Carta del fin del mundo (1998), by Jose Manuel Fajardo, a narrative that presents a discourse that seeks to reveal a new aspect of the meeting between both worlds under the perspective of the colonized. Parting from both works mentioned as corpus, the objective is, first of all, to destacate the apologetic discourse present in the Spanish productions, to, afterwards, approach the Hispano-American production of the theme initiated in the 70's decade of the 20th century to show that the modality of the new historical novel, synthesized in the work of Roa Bastos (1992), ended up influencing the productions about the discovery in European lands, that began to question not only the figure of Christopher Columbus, but also the whole discovery enterprise, establishing the dialogue with the Hispano-American tradition. It will also be taken in consideration that the work by Fajardo (1998) does not characterize itself as an isolated manifestation of the Spanish literature, once one can also observed the publication of the trilogy La pérdida del paraíso (2002), by Jose Luis Muñoz that presents the same mediation tendencies, in the terms proposed by Fleck (2008). / Apoiando-se nos pressupostos da literatura comparada, a presente pesquisa busca demonstrar que relações dialógicas se estabeleceram entre a literatura espanhola e a hispano-americana, no que se refere às produções voltadas à temática do descobrimento da América, após a publicação de Vigilia del Almirante (1992), do escritor paraguaio Augusto Roa Bastos. Tal obra revela-se como uma espécie de síntese da visão hispano-americana sobre o tema, atuando como um divisor de águas em relação à produção de romances históricos, sendo que a partir dele produziram-se, no contexto da poética do descobrimento, quase somente romances históricos contemporâneos de mediação. Isso ocorre inclusive na Espanha, que pela primeira vez, dentro deste contexto, apresenta uma obra que trabalha com uma perspectiva distinta da tradicionalmente adotada pelos literatos espanhóis, promovendo o diálogo com a literatura hispano-americana. Trata-se do romance Carta del fin del mundo (1998), de Jose Manuel Fajardo, uma narrativa que apresenta um discurso que busca revelar uma nova faceta do encontro entre os dois mundos sob a perspectiva do colonizador. Partindo das duas obras mencionadas como corpus, objetiva-se, primeiramente, destacar o discurso apologético presente nas produções espanholas, para, em seguida, ao abordar a produção hispanoamericana da temática iniciada na década de 70, do século XX mostrar que a modalidade do novo romance histórico, sintetizada na obra de Roa Bastos (1992), acabou influenciando as produções sobre o descobrimento em terras europeias, que passaram a questionar não somente a figura de Cristóvão Colombo, mas de toda empresa descobridora, possibilitando o diálogo com a tradição hispano-americana. Leva-se em consideração, ainda, que a obra de Fajardo (1998) não se caracteriza como uma manifestação isolada na literatura espanhola, uma vez que se dispõe também da trilogia La pérdida del paraíso (2002), de Jose Luis Muñoz, que apresenta a mesma tendência de mediação, nos termos propostos por Fleck (2008).

Strengthening of reinforced columns confining by modern composite materials is effective method, allows quickly realized strengthening, without increase dimension of strengthening columns. Just like using reinforcing bars, is the mainly assumption for this method the multi-axis state tension and deducing confining pressure, which will increase strength of concrete. Improved of properties of confining concrete can be determined by using relationships, but there are considerably differences. This diploma theses, dealing with strengthening of circular reinforced columns confinement by external FRP fabric, compared approaches to design of reinforced concrete by confining and using the results of an analytical and numerical study to describe problem of confining concrete and compare factors influencing the final properties of the wrapped concrete.

This master´s thesis deals with the proposal of DC low voltage network at a voltage level of 1000 V DC in Praskolesy u Mrakotina village. Direct distribution will be realized only at the terminal, which will power the village. Next part of this thesis is theoretical and its main focus is description of both DC and AC distribution systems. The proposed DC grid will use existing distribution grid. The thesis further describes the problems of long terminals in low voltage distribution systems and electrical installation in buildings. The result of this work is a comparison of the losses between AC and the proposed DC system. The last part deals with economical evaluation and technical solution for the proposed network variant, including their advantages and disadvantages.

Nyckeln i att utveckla ett bra flerspelar-spel ligger i spelets möjlighet till samarbete. Det är därför viktigt att veta hur olika spelsätt skiljer sig åt ur ett samarbetsperspektiv. Tidigare forskning har endast studerat samarbete för en given spelstil, till exempel spelare som möter andra spelare eller spelare som möter datorstyrda spelare, och har inte gjort någon direkt jämförelse mellan dessa. Bristen kring detta område har inspirerat till den aktuella undersökningen, som ämnat att undersöka eventuella skillnader på samarbete i spelet World of Warcraft. Det har utförts ett antal experiment, där deltagare fått möjligheten att spela World of Warcraft i slumpmässiga grupper. Dessa experiment har observerats för att analysera olika utslag som uppstått i samarbetet gentemot bestämda bedömningskriterier. Undersökningen har visat på stora skillnader i samarbete och har även visat vikten av social kompetens när det kommer till att interagera med sina medspelare. / The key to developing a good multiplayer game lies in the possibilities for cooperation. Therefore it is important to know how different playstyles differ from a collaborative perspective. Previous research has only studied cooperation within a given playstyle, such as player versus player or player versus environment and has not made a direct comparison between different playstyles. The lack of information about this topic is the inspiration for this study, which examines the difference in collaboration between the aforementioned playstyles in the game World of Warcraft. A number of experiments were carried out in which randomized groups of participants played the game World of Warcraft. The results of these experiments have been analyzed according to specific criteria and show large differences in cooperation as well as the importance of players’ social skills when interacting with other members of a team.

V této diplomové práci bylo zkoumáno téma kalibrace zařízení a sekcí ve vztahu k aerodynamickému tunelu na brněnském institutu leteckého inženýrství. Přístroje používané v aerodynamickém tunelu jsou kalibrovány a jsou popsány a provedeny kalibrace sekcí na testovací sekci. Kalibrační listy a šablony sestav jsou vytvořeny za účelem zjednodušení budoucích procesů. Nově kalibrovaná sestava se používá k provádění měření síly a probuzení na modelovém voze, která jsou porovnána s předkalibrací měření, aby dále ilustrovala užitečnost kalibrací.

Esta tese tem como objetivo investigar os limites constitucionais ao emprego de normas tributárias extrafiscais, contribuindo, de maneira original, com o desenvolvimento de métodos que possibilitem que estes instrumentos sejam controlados de modo mais preciso pelo Poder Judiciário. Para a consecução deste objetivo central, trabalhou-se a partir de quatro blocos de investigação. Primeiro, a pesquisa centrou-se em discutir a importância de segregação das normas tributárias entre fiscais e extrafiscais, analisando as diversas propostas de métodos para a separação entre estas. Ao final, a tese sugere que as normas tributárias extrafiscais devem ser identificadas a partir das suas finalidades, conforme venha a ser interpretado pelo aplicador da norma. Superada a questão, passa-se à investigação dos fundamentos constitucionais que legitimam o emprego das normas tributárias extrafiscais, quando se debate em que sentido normativo se pode falar em neutralidade tributária. Em um terceiro módulo de investigação, as normas tributárias extrafiscais são contrapostas às limitações constitucionais ao poder de tributar, ao conflito entre competência regulatória e competência tributária, ao conceito constitucional de tributo, bem como aos limites ínsitos às espécies tributárias previstas pela Constituição Federal. Por fim, apresenta-se um modelo de protocolo decisório que pode ser utilizado para fins de controlabilidade das normas tributárias extrafiscais pelo Poder Judiciário, colocando-se em destaque os princípios da igualdade e da proporcionalidade. / The main goal of this thesis is to investigate the constitutional limits on the use of non-fiscal purpose tax laws, contributing, with originality, to the development of methods that allow a more precise control of these instruments by the Judiciary Branch. To achieve such goal, the thesis was divided into four parts. The first part focuses in discussing the importance of segregation of tax laws in two groups: fiscal and non-fiscal, and analyzes the numerous methods proposed for such classification. The thesis suggests that non-fiscal purpose tax laws must be identified by their purpose, as interpreted by those responsible for applying the law. The second part investigates the constitutional basis that legitimates the use of non-fiscal purpose tax laws and discusses to what normative extent one can speak of tax neutrality. In the third part, the non-fiscal purpose tax laws are compared to the constitutional limits on taxation, to the conflict between regulatory competence and fiscal competence, to the constitutional concept of tax, as well as to the limits involving the tax species provided by the Federal Constitution. Finally, a model of decision making protocol is presented for use a mean of control by the Judiciary Branch of the non-fiscal purpose tax, highlighting the principles of equality and proportionality.

L’étude présente l’histoire de la classe du participe à travers un corpus de grammaires del’espagnol, du français, de l’italien et du portugais parues entre le XVe et le XVIIIe siècle.La démarche comparative s’appuie sur le principe méthodologique de la mise en série d’une centaine d’ouvrages regroupés et confrontés selon des paramètres variables : la chronologie, le thème ou la tradition grammaticale de la langue-objet.La première partie aborde la question de la catégorisation en linguistique et s’interroge sur la nature des formes non finies du verbe, tout particulièrement du participe et de son emploi dans les formes verbales analytiques. La deuxième partie traite de l’histoire du participe sous un angle général. Ainsi, après avoir donné un aperçu des aspects problématiques qui intéressent les grammairiens grecs et latins, l’analyse se centre sur le traitement de la classe dans les grammaires des langues romanes. La troisième partie s’attache à étudier les approches et les concepts dont se servent les grammairiens de la Renaissance pour traiter les temps composés ainsi que la façon dont ils décrivent et (re)catégorisent les formes participiales de ces temps verbaux. / The study investigates the history of the word-class of participle through a close study of a corpus of French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian grammars which were published between the 15th and 18th centuries. The comparative approach is based on the methodological principle of “series of texts”, by grouping and collating a hundred works according to several variable parameters: the chronology, the theme or the grammatical tradition of the language in question.The first part of the study deals with the linguistic categorization and questions the nature of the non-finite verbal forms, especially the participle and its use in an analytical verbal form. The second part deals with the history of the participle from a more general point of view. Thus, after an overview of the problematic aspects of Greek and Latin grammarians, the analysis focuses on the treatment of the word-class in the grammars of the Romance languages. The third part focuses on the approaches and concepts used by the Renaissance grammarians to deal with compound tenses and on how they described and (re)-categorized the participle forms of these verbal tenses. / El estudio presenta la historia de la clase del participio a través de un corpus de gramáticas de español, francés, italiano y portugués publicadas entre los siglos XV y XVIII. El enfoque comparativo se basa en el principio metodológico de la constitución de series textuales, que nos permite agrupar y cotejar un centenar de textos en función de parámetros variables: la cronología, el tema o la tradición gramatical de la lengua objeto.La primera parte aborda el asunto de la categorización en lingüística e indaga la naturaleza de las formas no finitas del verbo, especialmente la del participio y su utilización en las formas analíticas del verbo. La segunda parte propone una aproximacióna la historia del participio desde una perspectiva más general. Así pues, tras una cala en los aspectos problemáticos relacionados con el participio tratados por los gramáticos griegos y latinos, el análisis se centra en el tratamiento de la clase en las gramáticas de las lenguas romances. La tercera parte investiga sobre los enfoques y los conceptos que emplean los gramáticos del Renacimiento para tratar los tiempos compuestos, y sobre el modo en que describen y (re)categorizan las formas participiales de esos tiempos verbales.
