A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar um pequeno conjunto de vestidos denominados alta-costura, presente na coleção Vestuário do Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand (MASP) e que foram adquiridos na direção artística de Pietro Maria Bardi (1947 - 1990) e na presidência de Júlio Neves (1994-2008). Tais vestidos, catalogados como advindos das casas Dior e Lanvin, foram incorporados à coleção Vestuário entre os anos de 1951 a 1956 e posteriormente, nos anos de 2002 e 2003. Desse modo, pretende-se analisar o processo de musealização desses vestidos, numa perspectiva histórico-social, além de problematizar a historicidade do colecionismo de vestuário e moda nos anos de aquisição dos objetos, considerando a produção de documentação museológica como um processo curatorial importante na análise empreendida. / The present research aims to analyze a small set of dresses called high fashion, present in the Costume collection of the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) and which were acquired in the artistic direction of Pietro Maria Bardi (1947 - 1990) and in the presidency of Júlio Neves (1994-2008). These dresses, cataloged as coming from the houses Dior and Lanvin, were incorporated into the Costume collection between the years 1951 to 1956 and later, in the years of 2002 and 2003. In this way, it is intended to analyze the process of musealization of these dresses, from a perspective historical-social, in addition to problematizing the historicity of collecting clothing and fashion in the years of acquisition of objects, considering the production of museological documentation as an important curatorial process in the analysis undertaken.

It is stated in the preschools curriculum that all preschool teachers should document every child's progress while at the same time respecting their physical and personal integrity while documenting. The purpose of the study is to investigate the possibilities of preschool teachers to take ethical standpoints while documenting. We have investigated what the purpose is with documentation and who the documentation is for, how preschool teachers describe their way of documenting and whether they take ethical positions while documenting and if so which ones. The method of this study is qualitative and our empirical material consist of six interviews with six preschool teachers on five different preschools. We have used the theoretical framework of the concepts child perspective and children's perspective, as well as realistic visual norms and relativistic visual norms in order to analyze our empirical material. We have concluded that the preschool teachers rarely make the children aware that they are being documented. Partly due to their unwillingness to disrupt the children's activities and thereby lose out on making children's progress visible, which is the entire purpose of documentation. Partly because they so rarely encountered children who have clearly shown that they do not want to be documented, which the preschool teachers believe is a result of the modern society and children being accustomed to be photographed and filmed. In our final conclusion our research demonstrates that it becomes difficult for preschool teachers to meet both curriculum goals simultaneously, to document each child's progress and to respect children's physical and personal integrity.

Memória e oralidade de artistas de rua em São Paulo: uma proposta de tratamento documentário / Memory and orality of street performers (buskers) in São Paulo: a proposal for a documentary treatment.

A partir da fundamentação da documentação e dos recursos de história oral esta pesquisa apresenta uma proposta de método documentário para artes performáticas de rua. Cinco artistas atuantes na cidade de São Paulo foram selecionados para documentarem suas memórias sobre o tema de artes de rua, e tiveram sua execução artística gravada no formato audiovisual. O método consiste em três etapas qualitativas de captação e tratamento documentário utilizando-se das tecnologias digitais, a saber, a pré-entrevista gravada em áudio, o registro da atuação in loco dos artistas na rua e finalmente uma entrevista roteirizada pelas etapas anteriores gravada em vídeo em um estúdio. O referencial teórico baseia-se nos estudos de memória de Ecléa Bosi e no conceito de Hibridização Cultural de Nestor Garcia Canclini. Concluímos a importância da memória dos artistas para a história das cidades, como também constatamos os desafios conceituais e práticos enfrentados ao se pensar a documentação de artistas de rua na contemporaneidade. / From the basis of documentation and oral history resources this research proposes a documentary method for performing arts street. Five artists working in the city of São Paulo were selected to document their memories about street art theme, and had their artistic performance recorded in audiovisual format. The method consists of three qualitative steps capture and documentary treatment using digital technology, namely the recorded pre-audio interview, the record of action in place of artists in the street and finally an interview scripted by the previous steps recorded in video in a studio. The theoretical framework is based on Ecléa Bosi memory studies and the concept of Cultural Hybridization Néstor García Canclini. We conclude the importance of memory of artists to the history of cities, but also found the conceptual challenges and faced practical when considering the documentation of street performers in contemporary times.

The theoretical reference concerning the formation of teachers is based on principles of Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy (2001, 2016, 2017). Regarding pedagogical documentation, the research is based on the conception and practice by teacher Reggio Emilia, expressed by Edwards, Gandini and Forman (1999, 2016). The analysis methodology has a qualitative approach and the instruments that helped to understand the context studied were: the analysis of the documents produced by the teachers of a Municipal Education Schools in São Paulo city and the semi structured interview, applied to the teachers, with the purpose to know the understanding and value attributed to the production of pedagogical records. The data produced were analyzed upon Paulo Freire's concepts theoretical framework, expressed in a conceptual structure that presents as the center of the discussions the practice and the teacher formation from the following concepts: critical reflection on the practice, reality’s reading, experience knowledge, dialogue and transformation of reality. The findings of this study allowed me to reflect on the improvement of my work as pedagogical coordinator of the CEI Jardim Miliunas, in order to integrate valuable results of this research into the ongoing formation of teachers, based on Freirean principles, in a critical-reflective perspective. This research may offer contributions to the understanding of registration as an important contribution to the critical reflection in early childhood teachers about their practice, especially in the process of continuing education, in the context of the school, a space in which one can collectively discuss the reasons for the choices based on experiences with children, creating conditions for the transformation of teaching practice / Esta pesquisa busca investigar de que modo a documentação pedagógica pode se constituir em um instrumental valioso para subsidiar a formação continuada de professoras da primeira infância, em uma perspectiva crítico-reflexiva. O referencial teórico a respeito da formação de professoras apoia-se em princípios da Pedagogia de Paulo Freire (2001, 2016, 2017). No tocante à documentação pedagógica, a pesquisa fundamenta-se na concepção e prática de Reggio Emilia, expressas por Edwards, Gandini e Forman (1999, 2016). A metodologia de análise tem abordagem qualitativa e os instrumentos que auxiliaram na compreensão do contexto estudado foram: a análise dos documentos produzidos pelas professoras de uma creche da Rede Municipal de Ensino de São Paulo e a entrevista semiestruturada, aplicada às professoras, com o propósito de conhecer a compreensão e o valor atribuídos à produção dos registros pedagógicos. Os dados produzidos foram analisados, a partir de conceitos do referencial teórico de Paulo Freire, expressos em uma trama conceitual que apresenta como o centro das discussões a prática e a formação docente a partir dos seguintes conceitos: reflexão crítica sobre a prática, leitura da realidade, saberes de experiência feito, diálogo e transformação da realidade. Os achados deste estudo permitiram-me refletir sobre o aperfeiçoamento de meu trabalho como coordenadora pedagógica do CEI Jardim Miliunas, de modo a integrar resultados valiosos dessa investigação na formação continuada de professoras, pautada nos princípios freireanos, numa perspectiva crítico-reflexiva. Esta pesquisa poderá oferecer contribuições para a compreensão do registro como importante subsídio para a reflexão crítica do professor da primeira infância sobre a sua prática, especialmente no processo de formação continuada, no contexto da escola, espaço em que se pode discutir coletivamente o porquê das escolhas realizadas a partir das experiências vividas com as crianças, criando condições para a transformação da prática docente

Extração de termos de manuais técnicos de produtos tecnológicos: uma aplicação em Sistemas de Adaptação Textual / Term extraction from technological products instruction manuals: an application in textual adaptation systems

No Brasil, cerca de 68% da população é classificada como leitores com baixos níveis de alfabetização, isto é, possuem o nível de alfabetização rudimentar (21%) ou básico (47%), segundo dados do INAF (2009). O projeto PorSimples utilizou as duas abordagens de Adaptação Textual, a Simplificação e a Elaboração, para ajudar leitores com baixo nível de alfabetização a compreender documentos disponíveis na Web em português do Brasil, principalmente textos jornalísticos. Esta pesquisa de mestrado também se dedicou às duas abordagens acima, mas o foco foi o gênero de textos instrucionais. Em tarefas que exigem o uso de documentação técnica, a qualidade da documentação é um ponto crítico, pois caso a documentação seja imprecisa, incompleta ou muito complexa, o custo da tarefa ou até mesmo o risco de acidentes aumenta muito. Manuais de instrução possuem duas relações procedimentais básicas: a relação gera generation (quando uma ação gera automaticamente uma ação ), e a relação habilita enablement (quando a realização de uma ação permite a realização da ação , mas o agente precisa fazer algo a mais para garantir que irá ocorrer). O projeto aqui descrito, intitulado NorMan, estudou como as relações procedimentais gera e habilita são realizadas em manuais de instruções, dando base para a criação do sistema NorMan Extractor, que implementa um método de extração de termos dedicado ao gênero de textos instrucionais, especificamente aos manuais técnicos. Também foi proposta a adaptação do sistema de autoria de textos simplificados criado no projeto PorSimples o SIMPLIFICA para atender o gênero de textos instrucional. O SIMPLIFICA adaptado usa a lista de candidatos a termo, gerada pelo sistema NorMan Extractor, com duas funções: (a) para auxiliar na identificação de palavras que não devem ser simplificadas pelo método de simplificação léxica baseado em sinônimos, e (b) para gerar uma elaboração léxica para facilitar o entendimento do texto / In Brazil, 68% of the population can be classified as low-literacy readers, i.e., people at the rudimentary (21%) and basic (47%) literacy levels, according to the National Indicator of Functional Literacy (INAF, 2009). The PorSimples project used the two approaches of Textual Adaptation, Simplification and Elaboration, to help readers with low-literacy levels to understand Brazilian Portuguese documents on the Web, mainly newspaper articles. In this research we also used the two approaches above, but the focus was the genre of instructional texts. In tasks requiring the use of technical documentation, the quality of documentation is a critical point, because if the documentation is inaccurate, incomplete or too complex, the cost of the task or even the risk of accidents is greatly increased. Instructions manuals have two basic procedural relationships: the relation generation (by performing one of the actions (), the other () will automatically occur), and the relation enablement (when enables , then the agent needs to do something more than to guarantee that will be done). The project presented here, entitled NorMan, investigated the realization of the relationships between procedural actions in instruction manuals, providing the basis for creating an automatic term extraction method devoted to the genre of instructional texts, specifically technical manuals. We also proposed an adaptation of the authoring system of simplified texts created in the project PorSimples - the SIMPLIFICA - to deals with the genre of instrumental texts. The new SIMPLIFICA uses the list of term candidates, generated by the proposed method, with two functions: (a) to assist in the identification of words that should not be simplified by the lexical simplification method based on synonyms, and (b) to generate a lexical elaboration to facilitate the comprehension of the text

The textile industry is an important foundation of Ecuadors economy because of its contribution through the generation of jobs for unskilled labor and tight integration with other industry such as the agricultural industry, livestock, plastics and chemistry. Within this sector is sub sector Apparel, which is taken as a reference and represents 27 percent of production in the Textile Industry. The project aims to develop a methodology to transform small and medium companies to lean manufacturing Enterprises. It seeks to define and evaluate administrative, production and service processes in a textile company which manufactures garment apparel, define problems in these processes, raise improvement plans and recommendations for themselves and determine a simulation model to search for the feasibility of the proposed improvement model designed. Some of the most important problems identified in the companies in this sector are the following: the high number of errors in production processes described informally by officials; a poor system for inventory control of raw materials; work in processes, finished products, production processes, and a disorganized workplace-office.

Current Issues Surrounding the Quality of Construction Documents

The quality of construction documents is perceived to have decreased over the last few years according to professionals in the construction industry. Many feel that this decrease is due to the use of computer technology. This thesis strove to answer the question "Have construction documents improved with the introduction of computers or have they simply added to an already existing problem?" Through literature research, a survey, and follow-up interviews, the study concluded that communication was the main problem surrounding the quality of construction documents. Computers were also implicated as part of the problem yet also as a way to solve it in the future.

Feature-Oriented Specification of Hardware Bus Protocols

Hardware engineers frequently create formal specification documents as part of the verification process. Doing so is a time-consuming and error-prone process, as the primary documents for communications and standards use a mixture of prose, diagrams and tables. We would like this process to be partially automated, in which the engineer's role would be to refine a machine-generated skeleton of a specification's formal model. We have created a preliminary intermediate language which allows specifications to be captured using formal semantics, and allows an engineer to easily find, understand, and modify critical portions of the specification. We have converted most of ARM's AMBA AHB specification to our language; our representation is able to follow the structure of the original document.

De hundra aspekterna av lyssnandet i en förskola i Reggio Emilia : Hur lyssnandet upplevs och utförs i praktiken - en fenomenologisk studie

The aim of the study is to investigate how “listening” takes placein apreschool in Reggio Emilia, a city in northern Italy. This is a phenomenological study that investigates “listening” as a phenomenon based on children ́sand pedagogues ́ experiences. Three pedagogues and eleven children was interviewed in order to get knowledge about three main aspects: how “listening” is interpreted by pedagogues and children and put in practice in a Reggio Emilia pedagogy-also known as “the pedagogy of listening”; if children experience that they are being listened to and whether they have an influence in the preschool ́s activities; and whether the Reggio Emilia pedagogy affects the relationship between pedagogues and children. The findings show that “listening” is a complex concept that includes a variety of meanings that result in many different interpretations on how to put it in to practice. As described in other studies there is a risk of making children objects of adult research, thus affecting a genuine relationship between pedagogues and children. In these studies, the Reggio Emilia pedagogy is described as a method with fixed and rigid techniques of listening. According to the results in this study this seems to be avoidable by considering the Reggio Emilia pedagogy as an approach that is adaptable to different children groups, as well asactively involving children in their own documentation process. The results also demonstrate that children donot feel that they area part of the decision making when it comes to the preschool ́s activities. This is due to the fact that children’s interests are subject to interpretation by the pedagogues, who then often redirect them towards more desirable contents according to their own intentions. Also, the preschool environment is seen as a “third pedagogue” as it communicates to the children which activities and interactions are considered possible in a certain space.

How to manage complexity within Gefa International AB with a focus on documentation and supply chain

Due to the high competitive nature of the fashion industry, it is essential for businesses to have precise and update information regarding its orders from every part of the supply chain. However, in nowadays conditions, when manufacturing process is outsourced worldwide, but lead times tend always to become shorter complexity of the supply chain has increased significantly that makes very complicated to ensure good visibility, communication, and coordination through the chain. The aim of this thesis is to find the way of managing complexity within Gefa International AB, located in Sweden, by improving its documentation and reorganizing the supply chain. By analyzing the company’s organization three main problems have been identified as: lack of the technical department, presence of intermediaries between the focal firm Gefa and manufacturers, and finally the current modification of the computer system Pisa that does not allow using developed set of documentation in the appropriate way. Two suggested solution should solve these problems and improve performance of the company. First, it is proposed to exclude intermediaries from the supply chain and to add one more work place in the company for the technical assistance. Second, it is necessary to adapt current computer system to the developed set of documentation. These solutions require additional expenses. However, preliminary calculations show that it could be covered by the economies on the middlemen’s interest. / Program: Applied Textile Management
