Pedagogisk dokumentation : Ett perspektiv på lärande i förskolan

Norgren, Helene January 2010 (has links)
This study deals with pedagogical documentation. With a revised preschool curriculum, where this is a crucial aid for illustrating the learning process of children and educators, aswell as demonstrating the activities of the school, it is of the utmost relevance to further explorethis notion. The study focuses on a single municipality and explores the various ways inwhich its preschools do in reality deal with this issue in correlation with the actual visions andgoals set by that municipality. Through a series of qualitative interviews with educators aswell as with the municipality Head of Education, this study outlines how educational documentationis in fact applied in the schools in question. The gathered data has been interpretedwith a power perspective as well as with a sociocultural perspective in mind. The municipalityin question has gone to great lengths to educate all its preschool staff in pedagogical documentationin accordance with the methods of Reggio Emilia. As it turns out, the definition ofthe concept varies between schools. Furthermore, this study illustrates both flaws and benefits of this aid.

Heldygnsvård för missbrukare – en aktstudie av utfall och dokumentation

Gustavsson, Catrin, Karlsson, Sandra January 2008 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to examine the results of substance abusers after they have completed their visit in an institution/foster home. Parts of the purpose are to examine specific variables and their effects on the results as well as what the documentation looks like. From this we have formulated these following questions. (1) Generally, what have these efforts resulted in? (2) How have the social relationships been described in connection to this? (3) How has the client’s participation and motivation been described? (4) How has the collected documentation of these efforts been functioning? To answer these questions 14 files have been studied and the method has been both qualitative and quantitative. Our findings show that the result, regarding the abuse situation, has improved six months after completed treatment for six of the clients. The proportion women are considerably larger than the proportion of men with improved abuse situation. Previous research regarding social relationships and motivation has shown that these variables have significance for the result. Our findings regarding social relationships show that they were of importance for the abuse situation. The documentation in our research material has been insufficient and this has led to difficulties when trying to answer our questions. This study points out the importance of systematic methods of documenting because this is a prerequisite for the social services to be able to evaluate and to develop their activity. It seems like documenting and working with the client’s social relationships and motivation for treatment could influence the result to a more positive outcome.

Barns delaktighet och inflytande i den pedagogiska dokumentationen i förskolan / Children's participation and impact on educational documentation in pre-school

Ataman, Habibe, Bakac, Perihan January 2013 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to find out what the educators idea of educational documentations in ratio to childrens inclusion and impact in pre-school are, together with the child's own perception of the concepts of documentation. We proceeded from the following issues: What are the significance of educational work according to the teachers? What is the teachers idea of a childs impact and inclusion in educational documentation? In what way do the children have influence over, and inclusion in educational documentation? What are the childrens feelings of the documentations? In order to find answers to our questions, we used qualitative examinations consisting of seven educators and seven children from various pre-schools in Stockholm, and thereby, we have analyzed our results. As our theoretical frame, we used ourselves of Vygotskijs and Säljö's sociocultural perspective that is about "progress and learning", which is achieved by interaction and cooperation in a social context. The result shows that the aim of educational documentation is to reveal the childs development and learning, and also to involve the parents by putting up documents on the wall. It is important for children to both participate and influence both the documentation and other sections of the school where it affects the children, but this is sometimes hard to fulfill in all situations. The educators realises that to make the children participate, they simply have to rely on the child group and their interest. They also have given activities that everyone should follow. The lack of time is an obstacle for all educators, but what they all have in common is that having the participation and weight of the child would benefit the childs growth.

Får jag använda lärplattan? : En studie i förskolans verksamhet

Öijerholm, Alexandra, Jansson, Emma January 2013 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to highlight some aspects of the increased usage of tablets in preschool environments by answering the questions: what does the tablet become in the preschool environment, how much freedom does the children have over its usage. To answer these questions a series of observations were made at two different preschools. The observations were then complemented by interviews with teachers at the same preschools. This qualitative study focuses on some of the didactic questions regarding the tablets, based on a theoretical framework that is within the design-oriented perspective; which addresses the children's’ autonomy, the institutional framework and affordance. Our conclusion is that the tablet’s introduction in the preschool has helped the teachers in numerous parts of their documentation, but we can also see that the children's opportunities to make choices regarding the tablet are more limited than with any other resource on the preschool. In our results we also see that when the children get access to the tablet they receive a learning experience, which among other things, strengthens their language skills and their social interaction with each other.

Uppföljning och utvärdering för förändring : pedagogisk dokumentation som grund för kontinuerlig verksamhetsutveckling och systematiskt kvalitetsarbete i förskolan / Assessment and evaluation for change : Pedagogical documentation as foundation for continuous development of practice and systematic quality work in early childhood education

Elfström, Ingela January 2013 (has links)
The purpose of the study is to examine, in relation to the curriculum for the Swedish preschool demands of assessment, evaluation and documentation what kind of knowledge that becomes possible through the use of pedagogical documentation, and how this knowledge answers to expectations of development of content, form and organisation of the early childhood educational context. Another purpose is to examine what a post-pragmatic perspective and an immanent idea of evaluation can imply for the two-folded task of the preschool: the societal reproduction of knowledge and the staging of possibilities for children’s own production of knowledge. Three theoretical perspectives have been used: curriculum theory, post-structural theory and an immanent philosophical perspective. Curriculum theory points out that it is essential to use and develop perspectives and methods of evaluation that relates to the goals of the preschool as tools for evaluation govern and shape both questions and analysis. The main study here is directed towards examining pedagogical documentation through an empirical study of one preschool’s use of pedagogical documentation during one year. When dealing with the empirical material my intention has been to make visible both kind of learning processes that this study interprets that the curriculum prescribes. Therefore one method used where curriculum theory and descriptions and categorisations as a part of a discursive analysis of how teachers use pedagogical documentation together with the children and in their planning-sessions. The second method consists of an immanent following up of the rhizomatic web of threads that appear and transform through the practice and where pedagogical documentation is part of the relational field of potentiality.

Barns tankar och uppfattningar om vattenloppor / Children’s thoughts and perceptions about water flues.

Berglund, Fanny January 2013 (has links)
In this study, I examine children in preschool between four and five years old. What they have in mind in a meeting with them an unknown animal, water flea. The activity where I asked the children about such as the water fleas appearance and habitat while I was filming, I have been able to do an observation in two groups that could watch these animals either by image and video or as living animals. The children got afterwards documenting his meeting with painting, I was able to get a picture of how the children understood the animals. The results show that several children in the group who got to experience the real animals could detail their experiences through their artwork. The Picture group also showed poorer perception since they had a vague idea about the water flues size and that several children misunderstood the water flues antennas for sharp and dangerous teeth.

Projektų dokumentavimo sistema „MagicDraw“ CASE įrankio pagrindu / Project documentation system based on MagicDaw UML CASE tool

Savulis, Raimondas 01 September 2011 (has links)
Programinės įrangos kūrimo projektų dokumentacijos kūrimas dažnai vykdomas neefektyviai – dokumentai kuriami lėtai, esama dokumentavimo metodika būna perteklinė, nėra vieningos dokumentacijos kūrimo strategijos. Vienas iš būdų paspartinti dokumentų ruošimo procesą – panaudoti šiame darbe suformuluotus nurodymus bei principus. Taikant sukurtus dokumentų šablonus, dokumentaciją galima generuoti tiesiai iš projektavimo įrankio. Šiuose šablonuose realizuotas papildomas funkcionalumas – projekto kūrimo ir testavimo darbų apimčių skaičiavimas bei elementų ryšių vientisumo nustatymas, o tai svarbu vertinant projekto kokybę ir planuojant kūrimo darbus. Sukūrus projektą, dokumentacija automatiškai sugeneruojama panaudojant projektavimo įrankio, pavyzdžiui, MagicDraw UML, teikiamas dokumentų generavimo priemones, todėl nereikia atskirai kurti dokumentacijos teksto redagavimo priemonėmis. Sukurtąjį dokumento šabloną galima pakartotinai panaudoti kituose projektuose. / Creation of documentation usually is inefficient - documents are being created slowly, the methodology of documentation is usually redundant, there is no common strategy for this. The paper proposes a way to boost the process of creating documentation by using documentation templates that give an opportunity to generate documentation directly from a CASE tool. The created template implements additional functionality - the estimation of a size of programming and testing tasks of a project and tracing the dependencies between project's elements. The implemented template of a document may be applied in more than one project.

Experiences of unaccompanied minors : an exploratory study conducted with refugee children

Magqibelo, Lungile. January 2010 (has links)

The main aim of this study was to explore lived experiences of unaccompanied foreign minors in South Africa from a social work perspective. An important goal was to also explore the lack of guidelines on how to assist these young people. This study was conducted in a Children&rsquo / s Shelter, which is situated in the North-Eastern outskirts of Polokwane, where a group of unaccompanied refugee children from Zimbabwe were living. This study was qualitative and explorative in nature. Non-probability sampling was used to select participants for the study. Ten children were selected, ranging from age 14 to 18 years. Semi-structured interviews with the children and a focus group discussion with five care workers were held. Thematic analysis was used. The findings of this study revealed that services by government social workers are limited compared to those from social workers employed with nongovernmental organisations. It is hoped that this study will assist government and other role players in planning, advocacy and policy development related to the issues affecting unaccompanied refugee children.
