Due to the importance of the problem and the relatively recent developments in these fields of knowledge (early 20th century), as well as the visible relations between them and the process of inductive inference, it has been opened a field of relatively unexplored and promising possibilities. The key point of the study consists in modeling the information acquisition process using concepts of set theory, followed by a treatment using probability theory. Throughout the study it was identified as a major obstacle to the probabilistic justification, both: the problem of defining the concept of probability and that of rationality, as well as the subtle connection between the two. This finding called for a greater care in choosing the criterion of rationality to be considered in order to facilitate the treatment of the problem through such specific situations, but without losing their original characteristics so that the conclusions can be extended to classic cases such as the question about the continuity of the sunrise / O seguinte trabalho consiste na interpreta??o e an?lise do problema da indu??o sob uma vis?o fundamentada em teoria de conjuntos e teoria de probabilidades como base para a solu??o de suas implica??es filos?ficas negativas relativas aos sistemas de l?gica indutiva de maneira geral. Devido ? import?ncia do problema e aos desenvolvimentos recentes nos referidos campos de conhecimento (in?cio do s?culo 20), bem como ?s rela??es vis?veis entre eles e o processo de infer?ncia indutivo, tem-se aberto um campo de possibilidades relativamente inexplorado e promissor. O ponto-chave para o estudo consiste na modelagem do processo de aquisi??o de informa??o usando conceitos de teoria de conjuntos, seguido por um tratamento usando teoria de probabilidades. Ao longo do estudo foi poss?vel identificar, como obst?culos principais ? justifica??o probabil?stica, tanto o problema da defini??o do conceito de probabilidade quanto do de racionalidade, al?m da sutil conex?o entre ambos. For primates, the social environment constituted one of the greatest selective pressure for the development of their cognition. When we consider gender differences, we see that sexual selection also operates through different selective pressures for men and women not only in physical terms but in terms of cognitive skills. Among these, the primary cognitive abilities - that emerge naturally - and secondary - that rely on an artificial environment for learning - develop differently for each sex, making them suitable for specific tasks in different capacities. Previous studies utilized the Wason Selection Test a conditional logic tool - to measure, among several other things, the ability to recognize violation of rules in abstract contexts and social contexts. Subjects generally had better performance in the latter, however, in these studies possible differences motivated by learning in formal logic or genre were not considered. Our study investigated these two variables, as well as the time spent to solve each task. Furthermore, we used an index to take into account the rights and wrongs of the participants in tasks. We realized that although learning in formal logic does not bring significant differences in solving tests, the gender differences are strongly observed when we consider the social contexts and abstract. Women perform better in social tasks. This can be explained due to different sexual selective pressures for this gender in terms of one-on-one relationships within the group. Men are better at tasks of abstract context and this is probably due to the same reason. Their capabilities for territory defense, habitat navigation and forming coalitions depends on primary cognitive abilities that support secondary cognitive skills of abstraction. A circula??o humana pelos espa?os ? uma das possibilidades de mobilidade, que mudou desde o advento do autom?vel. Enquanto as cidades criaram espa?os para os carros, a ind?stria automotiva, que enfrentava uma p?ssima reputa??o no in?cio dos anos 20, tanto introduziu a ideia do pedestre imprudente quanto naturalizou os acidentes de tr?nsito. O uso da bicicleta n?o escapa desta l?gica, que responsabiliza os mais vulner?veis. Diante deste cen?rio, o objetivo geral deste estudo ? investigar a rela??o dos usu?rios de bicicleta com os aspectos ambientais e normativos do tr?nsito urbano. O presente trabalho possui car?ter explorat?rio e aplicou diferentes t?cnicas de produ??o de dados devido ? complexidade do objeto, em duas etapas: 1) mapeamento comportamental centrado no lugar; 2) o mapeamento comportamental centrado na pessoa e a entrevista com base em v?deos. Os dados revelaram algumas das formas de rela??o: uso obrigat?rio ou opcional do capacete, discursos sobre o c?digo de tr?nsito, linguagem corporal durante o ciclismo e os comportamentos que n?o seguiram os padr?es. Os resultados demonstraram que os ambientes do tr?nsito fazem com que os ciclistas adotem movimentos que, por vezes, v?o de encontro ao C?digo de Tr?nsito Brasileiro. / Although usually associated with means of transport, mobility is a fundamental characteristic of human life and may be expressed in many ways. Human movement through spaces is one of the possible ways of mobility, which changed since the advent of the automobile. While cities made room for cars, the automobile industry, facing a bad reputation in the early 1920s, both introduced the idea of reckless pedestrian and naturalized traffic accidents. The use of bicycle does not escape such logic, which blames the most vulnerable individuals. Given this scenario, the general objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between bicycle users and the environmental and normative aspects of urban traffic. The present work has an exploratory character and applied different techniques of data production due to the complexity of the object, in two stages: 1) place-centered behavioral mapping; 2) person-centered behavioral mapping and interview based on video recordings. The data revealed some forms of relationship: compulsory or optional use of helmet, discourses about the traffic code, body language during cycling and behaviors that do not follow the standards. The results demonstrated that the traffic environments make cyclists adopt movements that sometimes oppose the Brazilian Traffic Code.

Para esta finalidade, as armadilhas luminosas do tipo Center for Disease Control s?o as mais utilizadas. Adapta??es vem sendo desenvolvidas visando maior atratividade dos flebotom?neos e, consequentemente, maior n?mero de insetos capturados nas armadilhas. A percep??o de diferentes comprimentos de onda do espectro vis?vel pelo flebotom?neos ainda n?o est? completamente elucidada. O estudo pautou-se na investiga??o da fauna de flebotom?neos de uma zona de prote??o ambiental na zona norte de Natal e seu entorno, observando tamb?m a atratividade de cada esp?cie em rela??o ao espectro vis?vel emitido por tr?s l?mpadas diferentes: LED azul, LED vermelho e controle incandescente. As capturas dos flebotom?neos ocorreram durante 1 ano, com a frequ?ncia de 3 dias consecutivos por m?s, nos ec?topos de mata e peridomic?lio; Diariamente as armadilhas eram trocadas de posi??o. A fauna de flebotom?neos capturados revelou sete esp?cies divididas em cinco g?neros. O teste H? de Kruskal-Wallis revelou uma influ?ncia significante entre o espectro luminoso emitido pela l?mpada da armadilha e a abund?ncia de insetos capturados. O teste do modelo linear generalizado demonstrou uma influ?ncia significante entre os conjuntos ?rea-sexo e cor-?rea com o n?mero de flebotom?neos coletados. As armadilhas que utilizam LED azul apresentaram uma maior efic?cia na captura dos flebotom?neos, apresentando valores quase duas vezes maior que a l?mpada incandescente. As l?mpadas com tecnologia LED substituem favoravelmente a atra??o e captura das esp?cies de flebotom?neos, aumentando a efic?cia na diversidade e abund?ncia. / Deforestation has directly impacted the biology and bionomy of leishmaniasis vectors. Entomological surveillance, as a measure recommended by the WHO for the establishment of control actions and monitoring of Leishmania transmission, requires the capture of sandflies in different ecotopes. For this purpose, light traps of the Center for Disease Control type are the most commonly used. Adaptations have been developed to enhance the attractiveness of sand flies and, consequently, capture more insects in the traps. The perception of different wavelengths of the spectrum visible by sand flies is not yet fully elucidated. The study was based on the investigation of phlebotomine sand fly fauna of an environmental protection zone in the north of Natal city and its surroundings, also observing the attractiveness of each species in relation to the visible spectrum emitted by three different lamps: blue LED, red LED and glow control. Phlebotomine catches occurred for one year, with a frequency of three consecutive days per month, in forest and peridomicillary ecotopes; Traps were changed every day. The fauna of captured sand flies revealed seven species divided into five genera. The Kruskal-Wallis H' test revealed a noteworthy difference between the light spectrum emitted by the trap lamp and the abundance of captured insects. The test of the generalized linear model demonstrated a significant influence between the area-sex and color-area sets with the number of sandflies collected. Traps using blue LED showed a greater efficiency in the capture of sand flies, presenting values almost twice as great as the incandescent lamp. Lamps with LED technology favorably replace the attraction and capture of phlebotomine sandflies species, increasing the effectiveness in diversity and abundance.

Estabelecemos como par?metro as tecnologias emergentes, para perceber qual o grau de distanciamento/aproxima??o entre o acesso a essas tecnologias e a pr?tica dos docentes. Elegemos como objetivo dessa tese, verificar em que medida os professores utilizam as tecnologias emergentes e, a partir desse diagn?stico, elaboramos um modelo de plataforma que propicie forma??o permanente e colaborativa que, no formato de rede social, possa auxiliar os professores a intercambiar informa??es acerca dos conhecimentos produzidos em sua pr?tica. Utilizamos como referentes te?rico-metodol?gicos a pesquisa quali-quanti, a qual possibilitou a an?lise de dados estat?sticos, assim como a leitura qualitativa do contexto da pesquisa. Do ponto de vista te?rico, utilizamos a revis?o bibliogr?fica. Para discutir a forma??o docente, lan?amos m?o dos estudos, fundamentalmente, de Ramalho, N??ez e Gauthier (2003), Perrenoud (2000) e Marcelo Garcia (2001); os escritos de Pedr? (2010) para pensarmos o conceito de inova??o e, sobre as tecnologias nos apoiamos em Pretto (2011), Moran et al (2012) e Buzato (2010). Realizamos uma revis?o documental, tendo por lastro, o marco legal, especialmente, a partir da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educa??o Nacional n. 9394/1996, os Par?metros Curriculares Nacionais, as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais e o atual Plano Nacional de Educa??o, al?m da legisla??o espec?fica voltada para as TDICs, que fundamentam as pol?ticas p?blicas na ?rea. Ainda utilizamos como t?cnica de pesquisa, o estado da arte, cujo levantamento pautou-se na compila??o das principais pesquisas emp?ricas realizadas com professores brasileiros acerca da utiliza??o das TDICs em sua pr?tica pedag?gica. Sobre as tecnologias emergentes, consultamos as principais publica??es internacionais, com vistas a compor um quadro atualizado. Como resultado, foi poss?vel verificar que os professores n?o utilizam de forma satisfat?ria as tecnologias digitais na sua pr?tica, mas est?o constantemente conectados; s?o motivados pelos pares, alunos, documentos oficiais e pela coordena??o pedag?gica; h? pol?ticas de fomento ? inser??o das TDICs em sala de aula e que a literatura cient?fica sobre tecnologias emergentes na educa??o ainda ? muito recente, sem especifica??es das tecnologias, suas aplica??es educacionais e crit?rios objetivos de avalia??o. Para dirimir algumas dessas dificuldades explicitamos a Abordagem Tecnol?gica Tridimensional para Inova??o no Ensino ? TTATI, modelo de forma??o permanente, aberto e colaborativo que busca melhorar o acesso e utiliza??o das TDICs, em especial as tecnologias emergentes, na pr?tica docente e, em ?ltima inst?ncia, a melhoria da qualidade da educa??o. / Digital information and communication technologies - TDICs have been taking up more and more space in human relations. This fact has fed the production in this area causing new technologies to emerge and new ways of adding them to the daily life of people. The educational field, historically, has been incorporating social changes in a more gradual way. This work sought to understand how the TDICs have been inserted in the school context, especially in the pedagogical practice of teachers. We established as a parameter the emerging technologies, in order to understand the degree of distance / approximation between access to these technologies and the practice of teachers. We chose the objective of this work, to verify the extent to which teachers use the emerging technologies and, from this diagnosis, we elaborate a platform model that provides permanent and collaborative training that, in the social network format, can help teachers to exchange information about knowledge produced in their practice. We used as qualitative-methodological references the quali-quanti research, which enabled the analysis of statistical data, as well as the qualitative reading of the context of the research. From the theoretical point of view, we used the bibliographic review. In order to discuss teacher education, we have used the studies, mainly by Ramalho, N??ez and Gauthier (2003), Perrenoud (2000) and Marcelo Garcia (2001); (Morro et al., 2012) and Buzato (2010). In this paper, we present a case study of the concept of innovation. We carried out a documentary review, taking into account the legal framework, especially, based on the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education n. 9394/1996, the National Curricular Parameters, the National Curricular Guidelines and the current National Education Plan, in addition to the specific legislation focused on the TDICs, which underpin public policies in the area. We still use the state of the art as a research technique, whose survey was based on the compilation of the main empirical research carried out with Brazilian teachers about the use of TDICs in their pedagogical practice. On emerging technologies, we consult the main international publications, with a view to compiling an updated table. As a result it was possible to verify that teachers do not use digital technologies in their practice satisfactorily, but are constantly connected; are motivated by peers, pupils, official documents and pedagogical coordination; there are policies to promote the insertion of TDICs in the classroom and that the scientific literature on emerging technologies in education is still very recent, with no specifications of the technologies, their educational applications and objective evaluation criteria. In addition, the main factors that hamper its use gravitate around the lack of infrastructural conditions to use the technologies in the classroom; difficulty in accessing a greater diversity of technological resources, with adequate infrastructure and competence to carry out this didactic mediation, and curricular matrices of initial and continuing training courses that privilege other skills to the detriment of teaching with digital technologies. In order to solve some of these difficulties, we explain the Three - Dimensional Technological Approach to Innovation in Teaching - TTATI, a model of permanent, open and collaborative training that seeks to improve the access and use of TDICs, especially emerging technologies, teaching practice and, ultimately, improving the quality of education.

Discutiremos alguns aspectos associados ? ado??o de inova??es tecnol?gicas no setor da constru??o civil como estrat?gia do Mercado imobili?rio. A problem?tica desta pesquisa concentra-se em ampliar a compreens?o do uso das inova??es tecnol?gicas na produ??o imobili?ria como um reflexo das mudan?as nos sistemas construtivos e materiais. Pretende-se estudar ent?o a evolu??o no uso de inova??es tecnol?gicas relacionadas com os processos construtivos enquanto diferencial nas estrat?gias utilizadas pelos promotores imobili?rios no munic?pio de Natal entre 1990 e 2010. / In the present the technological innovations must be seen as a competitive strategy of the organizations in the sector of the civil construction. The diffusion of new technologies in this sector is very similar to the applied one in to too many industrial sectors, however, in case of the civil construction, still there happens certain degree of resistance of the wrapped parts. We will discuss some aspects associated to the adoption of technological innovations in the sector of the civil construction like strategy of the offer of the property Market. The problematics of this inquiry is concentrated in enlarging the understanding of the use of the technological innovations in the property production like a reflex of the changes in the constructive and material systems. Leaving from the empirical case and using the established base there is claimed to test the hypothesis of which the process of introduction of technological innovations in the market of the construction follows the logic of increase in value of the property undertakings privileging the undertakings of high standard and located in the most valued districts, with the adoption of materials and the most current and efficient constructive processes. It intends to study then the evolution in the use of technological innovations connected with the constructive processes while differential in the strategies used by the property promoters in the local authority of Natal / RN between 1990 and 2010. For so much there was taken like base the database lifted by QUEIROZ (2012), selecting a representative sample through the stratification of the elements inside the outlined universe, which turned in 83 vertical residential property undertakings investigated, distributed in four administrative regions of the local authority. Entretanto, in?meras cr?ticas s?o feitas aos estudos, notadamente pela aus?ncia de controle do n?vel de QI dos participantes. Adicionalmente, identifica-se pol?mica em termos das rela??es existentes entre os d?ficits no dom?nio da linguagem, a atividade epileptiforme e um conjunto de vari?veis cl?nicas intervenientes. Buscando contribuir para a compreens?o de tais rela??es, o objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a mem?ria operacional e a consci?ncia fonol?gica em crian?as diagnosticadas com Epilepsia Rol?ndica (ER). Foram avaliadas 42 crian?as com idades entre 6 e 13 anos. Destas, vinte e uma crian?as diagnosticadas com ER, segundo a classifica??o da Liga Internacional Contra a Epilepsia ? ILAE, constitu?ram o grupo experimental e; 21 crian?as sem ER, recrutadas de base de dados j? existente, pareadas em rela??o ?s do grupo experimental em fun??o do sexo, idade, escolaridade e n?vel socioecon?mico compuseram o grupo controle. O processo avaliativo contemplou anamnese com pais/respons?veis e protocolo composto por instrumentos, a saber, Teste das Matrizes Progressivas Coloridas de Raven, Teste das Matrizes Progressivas Escala Geral de Raven, subteste D?gitos da Escala Wechsler de Intelig?ncia para crian?as (WISC IV), Teste Blocos de Corsi, Teste de Flu?ncia Verbal e Consci?ncia fonol?gica ? instrumento de avalia??o sequencial (CONFIAS). Os resultados evidenciam diferen?as significativas entre os desempenhos de crian?as com ER e crian?as h?gidas nos testes que avaliaram a mem?ria operacional e consci?ncia fonol?gica, sinalizando melhor desempenho em crian?as com desenvolvimento t?pico. Ademais, foram identificadas correla??es significativas positivas e altas entre a mem?ria operacional e a consci?ncia fonol?gica no subgrupo cl?nico da ER. Os achados indicam que n?o h? influ?ncia significativa de vari?veis cl?nicas sobre os desempenhos de crian?as diagnosticadas com ER nos testes de mem?ria operacional e consci?ncia fonol?gica. De maneira geral, sugere-se que o comprometimento em ambas as fun??es cognitivas pode estar associado ao preju?zo no dom?nio da linguagem em crian?as com ER, assim como pontua-se que o desenvolvimento da mem?ria operacional e da consci?ncia fonol?gica se interrelacionam. / Association among cognitive alterations, language deficits and rolandic epilepsy (RE) diagnosis has been increasing in a constant basis. Nevertheless, a consistent criticism related to the absence of a due IQ level control of participants is addressed to these studies. Another source of criticism is related to the debate concerning possible existing relationship among deficits in language domain, epilectiform activity and a set of intervening clinical variables. This study aimed at investigating operational memory and phonological consciousness in children diagnosed as presenting rolandic epilepsy (RE), in order to clarify the relationship among above-mentioned aspects. 42 participants with ages varying from six to thirteen years were evaluated. Twenty-one participants, diagnosed as presenting rolandic epilepsy, according to ILAE ? International League Against Epilepsy diagnosis criteria, constituted the experimental group; the other twenty-one participants had not this RE diagnosis, constituting thereby the control group. Both experimental and control groups were paired concerning sex, age, school level and socio-economic familiar background. Evaluating process was constituted by anamneses inquiry addressed to parents/caretakers, and protocol composed by the following proofs: Raven Color Progressive Matrices Test, Raven General Scale Progressive Matrices Test, Sub-test Digits from Wechsler Intelligence Scale ? children version (WISC-IV), Corsi Blocs Test, Verbal Fluency and Phonological Consciousness Test - Instrument of Sequential Evaluation (CONFIAS). Results showed significant differences between RE and non-RE participants performance in tests evaluating operational memory and phonological consciousness, signaling better performance in children with typical development. On the other hand, highly significant positive correlations were detected between operational memory and phonological consciousness inside clinical subgroup RE. These findings indicate the absence of significant influence of clinical variables over performance in RE children in operational memory and phonological consciousness tests. In general terms, it is suggested here that handicaps in these cognitive functions could be associated to damages in language domain in RE children. Additionally, these findings allow the proposition of interrelation between development of operational memory and phonological consciousness.

Como forma de superar essas desvantagens, este trabalho apresenta uma metodologia de avalia??o da seca hidrol?gica, a qual determina o volume de ?gua abaixo da demanda requerida para diferentes intervalos de tempo, de onde se pode caracterizar a seca em fun??o de sua dura??o, severidade e magnitude, baseando-se no m?todo do N?vel Limite. Para tanto, foram estudadas as secas ocorridas entre 1997 e 2015 em dois reservat?rios de diferentes capacidades da bacia hidrogr?fica do Rio Piranhas-A?u. De forma complementar, foi utilizado o m?todo de avalia??o de seca hidrol?gica desenvolvido por Ara?jo & Bronstert (2015) a fim de comparar as caracter?sticas dos eventos de seca identificados por diferentes m?todos para os mesmos reservat?rios. Pelas duas metodologias, os resultados mostraram que o reservat?rio com maior capacidade de acumula??o ? mais eficiente e, assim, menos suscept?vel ? seca do que o de menor porte. Nessa perspectiva, sugere-se que as duas metodologias apresentadas neste trabalho possam ser utilizadas simultaneamente pelos gestores de recursos h?dricos, a fim de possibilitar uma an?lise mais abrangente dos eventos de seca ocorridos na bacia. / The proper assessment of hydrologic drought to assist the monitoring of a possible water deficit may be crucial in the adoption of anti-drought attitudes, especially in the semiarid region, where this phenomenon is most frequent. However, traditional methodologies uses standardized drought indices, which do not express its severity in terms of the volume deficit and neither consider water demand as a component of its calculation. In order to overcome these disadvantages, this work presents evaluation methodology of hydrological drought, which determines the volume of water below its demand. It can be characterized in function of its duration, severity and magnitude, based on Threshold Level Method. For this purpose, the droughts that occurred between 1997 and 2015 were studied in two reservoirs of different capacities of the Piranhas-A?u River basin. Complementarily, it was used the method of valuation of hydrological drought developed by Ara?jo and Bronstert (2016) to compare the characteristics of drought events identified by different methods to the same reservoirs. For both methods, the results showed that the reservoir with higher storage capacity is more efficient and thus less susceptible to drought than the smaller. It was found that basic difference between the two approaches is the time analysis of drought events: while the Threshold Level Method is possible to study what occurred in the past to diagnose and make a planning of the use of water in future, the Ara?jo and Bronstert (2016) method enables the assessment of current conditions to anticipate the start of a hydrologic drought. In this perspective, it is suggested that the two methodologies presented in this paper can be used simultaneously by managers of water resources in order to enable a more comprehensive analysis of drought events in the basin.

Saramago (1922-2010), which is demarcated how became known the saramaguiano style. From the Marxist literary criticism, the novel analysis as a literary genre and the novel relationship with the ideological world he inhabits, it is shown that the ideological subversion is present in the narrative not only in the semantic level, but also as a structural element novelistic discourse of Jos? Saramago (form), sharpening the genre as a weapon and humanizing instrument. To introduce the debate on Marxist literary criticism and its theoretical and methodological assumptions are exploited studies of Leon Trotsky, Mikhail Bakhtin, Terry Eagleton, Raymond Williams and Antonio Candido. Delimits the concept of ideology to be explored the theoretical foundation through the readings of Raymond Williams, Marilena Chaui, Alfredo Bosi, Mikhail Bakhtin, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. The novel as a literary genre is approached from the perspectives of Mikhail Bakhtin, Georg Lukacs, Theodor Adorno and Julio Cort?zar. The saramaguiano novel is located inside the Portuguese literary system from the critical analysis of Carlos Reis.

O estudo evidenciou que um dos primeiros livros textos de matem?tica, elaborado para a pr?tica do ensino prim?rio no estado do RN foi ?Exerc?cios de Numera??o?, pautado no m?todo intuitivo de autoria de Francisco Pinto de Abreu, professor e diretor da Escola Normal de Natal, no in?cio do s?culo XX. E que os programas de ensino e o material did?tico utilizado na Escola Normal de Natal tinham como par?metro os de outros estados brasileiros, principalmente os estados de S?o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Minas Gerais, pois alguns documentos revelam que o diretor Nestor Lima esteve em miss?o de estudo para conhecer e trazer estes par?metros para a constitui??o dos programas do RN. Constatamos ainda que, os programas de ensino da Escola Normal de Natal no per?odo estudado se constitu?ram em tr?s fases, o de 1916, o de 1938 e o de 1969. Evidenciamos no estudo que a pr?tica de ensino dos professorandos da Escola Normal ocorria na Escola Modelo desde a sua cria??o em 1908 at? o in?cio da d?cada de 1970, em tr?s fases que perdurava de abril a novembro no ?ltimo ano do curso, e que na pr?tica da Aritm?tica era onde os professorandos obtinham menores resultados. Constatamos que no ano de 1958 o Curso do Professor Malba Tahan na Escola Normal teve boa repercuss?o e foi considerado como um avan?o no ensino de matem?tica da ?poca. E ainda que as revistas pedag?gicas que circulavam no RN e principalmente a Revista Pedagogium editada pela Associa??o dos Professores do RN davam suporte ? forma??o continuada dos professores a partir de 1921 e nestas revistas algumas mat?rias de matem?tica foram bastante significativas para o ensino da ?poca. / The research analyzes the history of mathematics teaching on Natal Normal School, Rio Grande do Norte, between 1908 and 1970. The objective was to provide a historical background about mathematics teaching on Natal Normal School, so that he could reveal some aspects the trajectory of arithmetic, geometry and design in the curriculum of primary teacher training on Natal Normal School in this period. Supports to the concepts used by the Cultural History, Burke (2004) and Thompson (2004), Chartier (1990). It is based on the assumptions of School Culture in Julia (2001) and others, and in the history of school subjects in Chervel (1990). We used as main sources of research photographs and other documents that are part of a repertoire of School Culture. These documentary sources were mainly found in the Higher Education Institute President Kennedy files in the RN State Public Archives, the Historical and Geographical Institute of the RN, and Cascudo house. The study showed that one of the first books mathematics texts prepared for the practice of primary education in the state of RN was "Numbering Exercises", based on intuitive method by Francisco Pinto de Abreu, professor and director of the Normal School Natal at the beginning of the twentieth century. And that education programs and teaching materials used in Natal Normal School had as a parameter in other Brazilian states, especially the states of S?o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, as some documents reveal that the director Nestor Lima was in study mission to meet and bring these parameters for the establishment of RN programs. We also acknowledge that educational programs of the Normal School Natal during the study period consisted of three phases, the 1916, the 1938 and the 1969. And the main math textbooks used in the first half of the twentieth century were Elementary arithmetic Antonio Flag Trajano, Algebra School of FTD, Math Lessons Algacir Maeder, elementary algebra Antonio Flag Trajan. And in the second half of the twentieth century they were used textbooks and teaching manuals had pedagogical assumptions guided by the New School pedagogy and the Modern Mathematics Movement evidence. We show in this study that the teaching practice of the Normal School professorandos occurred in the Model School since its inception in 1908 until the early 1970s, in three phases that lingered from April to November in the last year of the course, and that in practice Arithmetic was where professorandos obtained lower results. We note that in 1958 Professor Course Malba Tahan at the Normal School had good response and was considered a breakthrough in the teaching of mathematics at the time. And although the pedagogical journals circulating in newborns and especially Pedagogium Magazine edited by the Association of Teachers RN gave support to the continuing education of teachers from 1921 and these magazines some math materials were quite significant for teaching time.
