Rör inte välfärden! : - Hur invandringens diskurs har förändrats sedan 1965

Lind, Jessica, Gamboa, Sabina January 2016 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to analyze how the discourse of immigrants and immigration has changed since 1965 and expose what mechanism control the discourse. The time periods that we choose to analyze were: 1965-1975, 1985-1995 and 2010-2016. These three eras were chosen based on the historical premise of Swedish immigration which concerns labor, refugee and family immigration. To shed light on this issue we used a mixed method of content analysis, more particularly, discourse analysis and argumentationsanalysis for the processing of our empirical data. Our empirical collection consisted of articles from the Swedish daily newspaper Dagens nyheter and the tabloid Aftonbladet. For our analysis we selected four different debate articles for each time period, newspaper or tabloid concerning immigrants and immigration. Altogether 24 articles were analyzed. To understand the discourse of immigrants and immigration we used the classic theorists Foucault and Marx in the formation of our theoretical perspective. Based on our empirical data we found that the welfare state were closely connected to the discourse and that the discourse of immigration and immigrants could be understood through a dynamic model. The model shows the balance of power between an establishment and an opposition. The establishment, opposition and welfare are the mechanisms that do not only control the discourse but also causes the discourse to change.

Produktivkrafternas historiska utveckling

Eriksson, Tom January 2015 (has links)

Upphovsrätten i det generella intellektets era / Copyright in the era of the general intellect

Larsson, Rikard, Lund, Arwid January 2008 (has links)
This text examines the ideological positions, as they appear in texts of central importance, of four Swedish protagonists – Antipiratbyrån, Konstnärliga och litterära yrkesutövares samarbetsnämnd, Creative Commons i Sverige and Piratbyrån – in copyright issues. The critical analysis is focusing on three themes – economy, culture and civic rights and responsibilities – and poses the questions of how the ideology of the protagonists relates to the changing processes between culture and economy in the society of today, and which interest of classes, understood in Marxist terms, they favour. Before defining the theory and method of the inquiry the authors give their understanding of the changing processes between economy and culture. The current situation is understood in the light of historical materialism and the authors assert that the society has entered the era that Karl Marx gave the name of the general intellect. The annexation of the culture by the capitalistic logic is nevertheless counterbalanced by a production of culture among peers in gifteconomies based on the human playdrive. Ideology is understood as the worldview of an individual or social group that relates to the interests that their social life generates. The ideology has a manifest and a latent part and you can discover these through textanalysis, reading between lines, and by examining the use of naturalisation and universalisation in the text. Finally, the ideologies of the protagonists are compared and put in relation to the contemporary era of the general intellect and the protagonists ideological positions are criticised by the authors.

Sandberg, Tommy January 2012 (has links)

Lund, Arwid January 2015 (has links)
This study is about voluntary productive activities in digital networks and on digital platforms that often are described as pleasurable. The aim of the study is to relate the peer producers’ perceptions of their activities on a micro level in terms of play, game, work and labour, to their views on Wikipedia’s relation to capitalism on a macro level, to compare the identified ideological formations on both levels and how they relate to each other, and finally compare the identified ideological formations with contemporary Marxist theory on cognitive capitalism. The intention is to perform a critical evaluation of the economic role of peer production in society.Qualitative and semi-structured interviews with eight Wikipedians active within the Swedish language version of Wikipedia constitute the empirical base of the study together with one public lecture by a Wikipedian on the encyclopaedia and a selection of pages in the encyclopaedia that are text analysed. The transcribed interviews have been analysed using a version of ideological analysis as it has been developed by the Gothenburg School. The views on the peer producing activities on the micro level has been analysed in a dialectical way but is also grounded in a specific field model.Six ideological formations are identified in the empirical material. On the micro level: the peripheral, bottom-up- and top-down-formation, on the macro level: the Californian alikeness ideology, communism of capital and capitalism of communism. Communism of capital has two sides to it: one stresses the synergies and the other the conflicts between the two phenomena. The formations on the macro level conform broadly to contemporary Marxist theory, but there are important differences as well. The study results in a hypothesis that the critical side of communism of capital and the peripheral and bottom-up-formation could help to further a more sustainable capitalism of communism, and counteract a deeper integration of the top-down-formation with Californian alikeness ideology. The latter is the main risk of capitalist co-optation of the peer production that is underway as the manifestly dominant formations on the macro level are Californian alikeness ideology and communism of capital. / <p>©<strong> </strong>2015 Arwid Lund, used under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 3.0 license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/</p><p></p>
