Previous issue date: 2016 / The present thesis is inserted in the field of Youth and Adult Education and aims to analyze from the perspective of the graduates of the Programa Brasil Alfabetizado / Fortaleza Alfabetizada, as the continuation of studies by the students of the EJA in their schooling process, in Fortaleza. The research focused on the following question: how did the Programa Brasil Alfabetizado / Fortaleza Alfabetizada motivate its students to continue their studies in the EJA? The study presented as main theorists Paulo Freire, Hugo Lovisolo, Sérgio Haddad, Moacir Gaddotti, Maria Clara Di Pierro, Eliane Dayse Pontes Furtado, discussing EJA; And contributions of the Marxist referential to the understanding of the investigated phenomenon, among which are Gramsci and Konder. Methodologically, the research is based on a qualitative approach, such as multisite studies, using procedures that allow the apprehension of the dynamics of reality, recovering as many determinations as possible, such as participant observation, semi-structured interview and questionnaire. The perspective of using these strategies of approximation with reality was to recover both the reasons that led the newly literate to continue their studies, and the representations they have about education and teaching. Thus, in this search, the life trajectories of these subjects centered, identifying and analyzing the elements that motivated them to continue studying. The research found that the reasons that led the students to continue their studies in the EJA exceeded the perspective of improving the knowledge of school, covering other aspects, among which stand out: interest in learning more, to talk and understand what you read, Keep your mind occupied, improve reading and writing skills, get a job and have access to a job, interest in learning to use the computer, the internet and being happy.

This Dissertation aims to problematize how school inclusion, as a political-educational process, becomes intensified in the current society. I discuss the way school inclusion is intertwined with social inclusion in terms of citizenship, participation, and access to different social spaces. Based on the ideas developed by Michel Foucault, I make use of the concepts of governmentality, governance, bio-power, and norm, in order to understand some practices of school and social inclusion and their strategies. The investigation was constructed from two axes: the meanings of inclusion and the governance of the subjects.
Desportos, Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (Laefa/Cefd/Ufes). As análises apontam
This work is a theoretical study on developing continuing training of physical education
teachers, with an emphasis on inclusion - specifically people with disabilities. The aim is to
understand the characteristics and potential of continuing traininggroups, strongly present
teachers, as indicators elements of (re) construction of subjectivity and the consequent impact
on pedagogical practices of teachers. It is evident, therefore, the formation of understanding
as a living and continuous activity of the building itself, as pointed out by Antonio Nóvoa,
and brings together a diversity of human dimensions in the (re)constitution of subjects,
integrating as praxis, the know how and knowledge, as stated by Marie-Christine Josso. In
contemplating the subjectivity concerning what Fernando González Rey points out, we start
from the perspective of the same as a complex system between the individual dimension and
the social dimension in a reciprocal manner and interrelated, performing in the constitution of
the subject by the group and vice versa. In this sense, we try to understand the continuing
training of those teachers impacted the subjectivity of individuals participating in the process,
about to pass in the pedagogical practice of a truly inclusive manner. Then, the research made
use of documental approach in order to produce some considerations about the theme itself. As
documental research material will be used documents — reports, interviews and narratives —
which resulted in a master's thesis and a post-doctoral report produced through the analysis of
the narratives of the teachers who participated in the Operating Training Groups (GOF) of an
extension project occurred in 2011 in Adapted Physical Education Laboratory, Center of
Physical Education Sports, Federal University of Espírito Santo (Laefa/Cefd/Ufes). The
analysis points to the establishment of an environment (re)construction subjective of teaching
in that spaces are enhanced training to recognize the subject as alive and significant source of
content and actions; who understand the reflection and dialogue as an effective means of
approaching senses and meanings historical and socially accumulated; making exchanges of
experience situations a moment of conceptual construction, procedural and attitudinal; and
that by doing the teaching the starting and finishing point of the training path, realize the need
to emphasize experiences that can support new thinking, new looks, new performance
settings.

This master's degree final paper approaches the theme of school inclusion. It investigates through qualitative approach the difficulties that arise upon including mentally challenged students registered in regular schools, and that cause them to subsequently join schools for "special children". Starting with the assumption that more and more physically or mentally challenged students are being registered in regular schools, it was tried to find out what measures are taken by regular schools that encourage or discourage a quality inclusion process for students diagnosed as being mentally ill. This study took 3 mentally challenged students who currently attend a school for children with special needs, but coming from a regular "so called" inclusive school, i.e., students with some experience in regular school life. Starting from the school background of these students, it was possible to spot the regular schools they had attended. Then it was investigated the factors contributing for their admission into special education system. Studying the focused problem enabled us to find out how the inclusion process of these students took place, as well as what caused their leaving the regular schools; this, in turn, stimulated the reflection upon new proposals and new measures, preventing the same from happening again with new students, which might again trigger the exclusion process. It was concluded that teachers do not deny to participate in the inclusion proposal; in fact, there is a fear of not knowing how to act and what to do to promote the cognitive development of these students. It was also concluded that the "so called" inclusive schools present many gaps in their practices concerning mentally challenged students, shown in the lack of teacher preparation and of material resources that teachers and included students faced. Including mentally ill students is still a challenge for regular schools, and as such, it is subject to constant reflections, constructions and reconstructions along the process. It was clearly shown the need for further discussions, studies, research and measures regarding this issue both in special and regular schools, and a continuous, systematic and specific preparation for each situation experienced by teachers, students and community.

Listening to the speech of children and also of all those that are silenced, here, in particular, people with mental retardation / intellectual, is a way to read the words that are hidden, concealed in the official story, but most of everything is mostly unveiled of their silences, because their speech were always filed by the academic world who authorized the scientific experts, teachers and scholars to speak in their place. When these people talk, evoke the discourse about the childhoods that goes beyond the school walls and spreads by society in general.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Digital inclusion is a dynamic process that by accessing ICTs makes possible the knowledge
appropriation on information technology and communication, so that the individual can
develop and refine skills capable of providing autonomy on digital tools and critical use of
them. Also it is essential that the digital inclusion process enables the interaction
enhancement, i.e., knowledge update (LÖBLER et al., 2011). From the Administration
viewpoint, studying the digital inclusion process becomes pertinent while according to
Fonseca and Lima (2007), the introduction of new digital and automation technologies led to
a break in workers' knowledge, creating a knowledge gap that is responsible for many
accidents, according to the authors. In the public administration perspective the importance of
exploring this theme is centered on the need for evaluation of public policies towards digital
inclusion. Regarding to research in the digital inclusion topic, Notten et al. (2008) and Löbler
et al. (2011) studies showed a gap: the digital inclusion process in the individual perception.
Therefore, the central research question of this study is: How does happen the digital
inclusion process? In order to facilitate the search for this answer, the following specific
objectives were built: (i) Describe the individual learning process regarding ICTs, (ii) Identify
factors that imply in the digital inclusion process and, (iii) Verify the individual effects of the
digital inclusion process. The method used in this study belongs to the interpretive paradigm.
It is an ethnography, which is justified because the digital inclusion process, in the dimension
of individual knowledge ownership, is a phenomenon that cannot be captured in its essence,
by the researcher, through quantitative techniques, the only way to understand it is the
observation in its reality (CAVEDON, 2008). Participant observation, semi structured
interviews and digital photos were used as data collection technique. As contribution, this
dissertation describes how does the knowledge appropriation about ICT, exposes the factors
that influence the digital inclusion and the results of this process. Also, it was possible to
verify that many behaviors are repeated, such as difficulties, anxiety, facilities, and others.
Through observations, I observed social inclusion as a result of the digital inclusion process.
In this regard Çilan et al. (2009), Griebler, Rokoski e Dalri (2010) e Ferro et al. (2011)
comprehend the digital inclusion of individuals outside the social development process as a
tool to whose main target is social inclusion. Hence, the results allow me to judge that digital
inclusion projects ethnographed were an effective tool to achieve the goal of including
socially the students, now digital and social included.
públicas voltadas a inclusão digital.
Nesse
individuais do processo de inclusão digital.

This study examines the potential of Physical Education as a discipline that promotes the school inclusion of students coming from a lower class of the EMEF Ricardo C.C. Monteiro, na outskirt school , popularly called as Caic Vale do Solas it is located in the Vale do Sol neighborhood in Araraquara, SP. As a result of the interviews done with the agents unvolved in that institution, data were collected that prove the importance of the discipline Physical Education and the SEMEAR Project as strategies of maintenance of permanence of the students in the school space and the positive consequences of that inclusion. As it is a research of sociological character, Pierre Bourdieu and cooperator's studies were used where their categories of sociological analysisguarantee the necessary theorical support for the accomplishment of this research that wants to verify the restructuring of the primary habitus of the students acquired in the family into habitus cultivated by the school so that there is acceptance of symbolic codes imposed by the school institution and legitimized by the society. So, it's implicit in this research the relevance of specific contents in this area and verified by the answers of the students well worked by the Physical Education teachers, becoming important instruments in the systematization of this process of inclusion. The conclusion is that Physical Education, obligatory discipline of the school grade, has a fundamental role in that school institution and mainly for that social class that consciously or unconsciously imputes to it (Physical Education) the longevity of the school trajectory of their children, aiming at a better quality of life.

Previous issue date: 2009-08-31 / Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais / In recent years, studies on the efficiency and practices based on policies of school inclusion have presented results often controversial. The lack of concrete data has been considered the main difficulty encountered in the accurate assessment of how this process has been occurred. The few systematic studies related to this topic have been restricted to individual testimonies and experiences, unable to assess the impact of policy on practice in schools. As a result, studies to improve the quality of education and, thus, promote access to these students, have been necessary. In this way, the actual work aimed to conduct a study using a descriptive method to promote inclusive education of students with disabilities in common schools, through the identification and description of barriers encountered by these students. To identify such barriers, data were collected from interviews with students from three different cities, using a specific instrument for this purpose ( The School-Setting Interview 3.0 SSI ), which was translated and adapted to Brazilian reality. The participants were 24 students with disabilities, between 7 to 16 years old, actually educated in regular education classes of regular teaching from three different cities (A, B and C). The results were analyzed to identify possible variation in the number and types of barriers depending on the city, gender, education level and motor impairment, in addition to access of assistance. Qualitative analysis was performed to identify and exemplify personalized barriers encountered by students in specific situation. Results showed that these cities, which were subject to the same general laws, have very different initiatives regarded to school inclusion. As the barriers faced by students, data showed that adjustments are being made in schools, although the number and variety of barriers faced by these students is still concern, and that policies of school inclusion need to be more effective. Moreover, it is concluded that, in students perception, the social barriers overcome the physical ones, since there is a greater investment in adapting the physical environment, which involves costless attitudes that could be implemented in short period of time, while the engagement against social and educational barriers, which would require more expensive and more structural alternatives, is still considerably being ignored.
