Dans la ville brésilienne, les habitats populaires tels que le cortiço ou la pensão, sont très peu étudiés dans le champ de la géographie, en partie en raison du topo autour de la favela. Cette thèse cherche à combler ce creux dans les travaux scientifiques sur l’habitat, en partant du discours de ses résidents. Le cortiço peut se définir comme un habitat populaire collectif, multifamilial et locatif, dont le développement se fait dans les quartiers anciens, dits « centraux » des villes brésiliennes. Il est une solution de logement antérieure à la favela et occupe toujours une place importante dans le paysage urbain.Dans cette thèse, nous avons choisi d’étudier la place du cortiço dans trois contextes métropolitains différents : celui de São Paulo, de Salvador de Bahia et de Belém do Pará. Cela nous permet d’aborder la réalité urbaine du cortiço dans sa diversité. De plus, nous adoptons une approche par l’échelle du micro, en entrant dans les cortiços et dans les quartos pour y rencontrer les habitants et y recueillir leurs propos. La place du cortiço - dans la ville et pour ses habitants - nous permet de développer également les problématiques liées au droit à la ville et au maintien d’une fonction résidentielle populaire en centre-ville. / In the Brazilian city, popular housing such as cortiço or pensão are poorly studied in the academic geography field, because of the focus around the favela. This dissertation aims to fill this lack in scientific studies on housing. The cortiço could be defined as a popular, collective, multifamiliar, rented housing whose development happens in old neighborhoods, called “centrals” of Brazilian cities. It is a housing solution older than the favela, still having an important place in the urban landscape nowadays. In this dissertation, I chose to study the place of the cortiço in three different metropolitan contexts: São Paulo, Salvador de Bahia and Belém do Pará. This allows us to address the cortiço’s urban reality in its diversity. Also, we take an approach by the micro level, entering in the cortiços and in the quartos in order to meet the dwellers and gathering their discourses. The place of the cortiço – in the city and for its inhabitants – allows us to also develop the questions of the right to the city and the permanence of popular residential function in city cores.

Jung is a psychological technique that allows contact with unconscious contents through imagination and intention, seeking self-knowledge and to produce more constructive agreements with the unconscious. These psychic contents manifest themselves in the form of symbols, that can be interacted in a conscious way. Considering the presence of few studies in the national literature on this theme and new applications of it, a qualitative research methodology was adopted, aiming to evaluate a new proposal for the application of the active imagination technique through the elaboration of semi-structured scripts, focused into the themes of the Persona and the Inner Hero (archetypal expressions of all human beings according to Analytical Psychology), and it´s application by a psychotherapist in a semi-directed way, in seven participants, between 18 and 35 years, without previous psychotherapy as a requirement. The objectives are to present a proposal for a semi-directed form of applying the active imagination through such scripts, included here the elaboration of the scripts, the design of the semi-directed form of application, the application of the scripts followed by semi-structured interviews, and the evaluation of the applicability of the proposal, analyzing the factors involved in the experience. The factors chosen were difficulties in understanding the scripts (words and order of descriptions), the question of control, concentration and relaxation, intermediate scenario, delimitation of the manifestation of unconscious contents, relations between the manifest symbols and the theme of the script in the daily routine of the participants, and reflections on the elaboration of instructions for the psychologist applying the scripts. The results indicate that all participants were able to express symbols associated with the themes of each script. Improvements to the initial instructions and aspects of the scripts themselves were suggested. The conclusion is that the semi-structured scripts of imagination and the semi-directed form of applying them were effective in bringing up, to the conscious awareness, psychological contents associated with the themes of the Persona and the Inner Hero through symbols. More research needs to be done with this form of using the imagination, focusing on other themes and specific forms of suffering, as well as about the possibilities of the active imagination to allow the overcoming of suffering through new relationships with unconscious contents. In addition, more studies need to be carried out in the use of the technique in other contexts of the psychologist work, such as human resources, school, among others. It is highlighted that a greater appreciation of the active imagination is a return to Jung´s original intentions / A técnica da imaginação ativa de C. G. Jung é uma técnica psicológica que permite o contato com os conteúdos inconscientes via imaginação e intenção, visando melhorar o autoconhecimento e produzir acordos mais construtivos com o inconsciente. Esses conteúdos psíquicos manifestam-se em forma de símbolos, com os quais se pode interagir de forma consciente. Considerando-se a presença de poucos estudos na literatura nacional sobre essa temática e suas novas aplicações, adotou-se uma metodologia de pesquisa qualitativa, em que se busca avaliar uma nova proposta de aplicação da técnica de imaginação ativa por meio da elaboração de roteiros semiestruturados de imaginação, com temáticas da persona e do herói interior (expressões arquetípicas de todos os seres humanos segundo a psicologia analítica), e sua aplicação de forma semidirigida por psicólogo, em sete participantes entre 18 e 35 anos, sem que tenha ocorrido psicoterapia prévia como requisito. Os objetivos são apresentar uma proposta de procedimento semidirigido para realização de imaginação ativa via tais roteiros, incluída aqui a elaboração dos roteiros, o delineamento do procedimento semidirigido, a aplicação em conjunto com entrevistas semiestruturadas e a avaliação da aplicabilidade dos roteiros, analisando os fatores envolvidos na experiência. Os fatores escolhidos foram eventuais dificuldades de compreender os roteiros (palavras e ordenamentos das descrições), a questão do controle, concentração e relaxamento, cenário intermediário, delimitação da manifestação de conteúdos inconscientes, relações entre os símbolos manifestos e o tema do roteiro no cotidiano dos participantes e reflexões sobre a elaboração de instruções para o psicólogo aplicador dos roteiros. Os resultados indicam que todos os participantes conseguiram manifestar símbolos associados aos temas de cada roteiro. Aprimoramentos das instruções iniciais e de aspectos dos roteiros em si foram sugeridos. Conclui-se que os roteiros semiestruturados de imaginação e o procedimento semidirigido utilizado em sua aplicação foram efetivos em trazer à tona, para a consciência, conteúdos psicológicos associados aos temas da persona e do herói interior via símbolos. Mais pesquisas precisam ser realizadas com essa forma de utilizar a imaginação, com o foco em outras temáticas e formas específicas de sofrimento, assim como fazendo uso das possibilidades da imaginação ativa em permitir a superação de sofrimentos através de novas relações com conteúdos inconscientes. Além disso, mais estudos precisam ser realizados no uso da técnica em outros contextos de atuação do psicólogo, como recursos humanos, escolas, entre outros. Avant d'être libéré dans la fente synaptique, le glutamate est accumulé dans les vésicules présynaptiques par les transporteurs vésiculaires du glutamate (VGLUTs). Il existe 3 types de VGLUTs. VGLUT3 possède une distribution anatomique et des fonctions atypiques. Au sein du système nerveux central, VGLUT3 est exprimé dans des neurones glutamatergiques mais aussi non glutamatergiques, dans lesquels il assure les fonctions de co-transmission ou de synergie vésiculaire. On le retrouve notamment dans certains neurones sérotoninergiques du raphé. Au sein de l'oreille interne, VGLUT3 est l'unique VGLUT décrit dans les cellules ciliées internes (CCI). La sérotonine joue un rôle essentiel dans le contrôle respiratoire néonatal. En étudiant la respiration de souriceaux n'exprimant plus le VGLUT3, nous avons démontré le rôle de VGLUT3 dans l'adaptation au stress hypoxique néonatal. Une mutation de VGLUT3 a été mise en évidence dans une surdité humaine très proche cliniquement de la presbyacousie et appelée DFNA25. En étudiant le phénotype auditif de souris exprimant cette mutation, nous avons prouvé l'implication de cette mutation dans l'atteinte des CCI à l'origine de la surdité DFNA25. L'étude des processus biochimiques mis en jeu nous a permis d'envisager un rôle indirect de VGLUT3 dans l'activation de la mort autophagique, via la protéine Becline 1 et une possible interaction au sein de la voie de la Culline 3. L'ensemble de ce travail nous a permis de mettre en évidence un rôle de VGLUT3 dans l'adaptation aux conditions extrêmes telles que le développement néonatal ou le processus de vieillissement. Il ouvre de nouvelles perspectives sur les diverses fonctions des VGLUTs. / Before its release into synaptic cleft, glutamate is accumulated in presynaptic vesicles by vesicular glutamate transporters (VGLUTs). There are 3 types of VGLUTs. VGLUT3 presents atypical functions and anatomical distribution. In the central nervous system, VGLUT3 is expressed in glutamatergic and non glutamatergic neurons, in which it performs the co-transmission and the vesicular synergy. Particularly, we can observe VGLUT3 in serotoninergic neurons of raphe. In the inner ear, VGLUT3 is the unique VGLUT described in the inner hair cells (IHCs). Serotonin plays a key role in the neonatal respiratory control. By exploring the respiration of VGLUT3 knock out mice pumps, we have demonstrated the role of VGLUT3 in the response to neonatal hypoxic stress. One VGLUT3 mutation has been described in a human deafness clinically very close to presbycusis, the DFNA25 deafness. By studying the auditory phenotype of mice expressing this VGLUT3 mutation, we have proved the implication of this mutation in the IHCs impairment at the origin of DFNA25 deafness. Biochemical analysis have helped us to consider an indirect role of VGLUT3 in the autophagic death. Beclin 1 and a possible interaction between VGLUT3 and the Cullin3 pathways could be implicated. All of our results allowed us to highlight a role of VGLUT3 in the adaptation to extreme conditions like neonatal development or aging process. They open new perspectives on the various functions of VGLUTs.

A cóclea humana adulta é reconhecidamente incapaz de se regenerar de modo significativo na prática clínica após uma lesão. Tal fato se explica pela perda da capacidade de proliferação de suas células sensoriais após o período neonatal. Em diferentes espécies de mamíferos neonatos, foi demonstrada a capacidade de proliferação das células sensoriais cocleares através de ensaios de formação de esferas e da presença de marcadores para células-tronco, como o ABCG2. Neste estudo, foram utilizadas cócleas humanas adultas para ensaio de formação de esferas e para a pesquisa do marcador de células-tronco ABCG2 através de citometria de fluxo. As cócleas foram obtidas de pacientes portadores de schwannomas vestibulares submetidos a procedimento cirúrgico para ressecção do tumor via translabiríntica e doadores de órgãos em morte encefálica. Foi possível observar formação de esferas in vitro e identificar o marcador ABCG2 através de citometria de fluxo nas células dissociadas do tecido coclear / The human cochlea is, allegedly, unable to regenerate after trauma due to the loss of the proliferation capacity after the neonatal period. It has been demonstrated in different neonatal mammal species that sensorial cochlear cells retain their proliferation capacity in the neonatal period using sphere-formation assays and stem cell markers such as ABCG2. In the present work, human adult cochleas have been used for sphereformation assay and flow cytometric identification of ABCG2. Human adult cochleas have been removed either from patients undergoing vestibular schwannoma resection via translabyrinthine approach or brain-dead organ donors. According to the author s notes where he talks about the presence of food in the country s dry countryside Sertão found in his classical novel, one can realize through Riobaldo s narrative two specific cuisines: the inner cuisine and the outer cuisine. Two different cuisines, within their own characteristics, establishing relationships between people and social groups. The menu is shown during the countryside s journey done by the group and in the sharing moments with those who they meet along their way. Because it is a search in the context of the Science of Religion discipline, the cuisine itself, the cooking practices and the sharing of the meal will be focused on its religious aspect as something that transcend the materiality , constituting in this way a sacred manifestation / appearance. This paper aims to state the importance of the distinct cuisines shown by Riobaldo in his narrative and how they work in their specifities, the utilization and consumption of ingredients. Thus the building of the Brazilian cuisine will allow an understanding of the significant kind of food that created the menu while a mystic from the countryside is perceived from the gestures that are shown and from the relationships that are established while sharing the food / A presente tese pretende a partir da leitura da obra Grande sertão: veredas, de Guimarães Rosa, contribuir para a compreensão das relações entre comida e religião. A partir dos registros do autor sobre a presença da comida no sertão encontrada em seu clássico romance, identificamos, na narrativa conduzida pela personagem Riobaldo, duas cozinhas, caracteristicamente sertanejas: a cozinha de dentro e a cozinha de fora . Duas cozinhas que, em suas especificidades, organizam as relações entre sujeitos e grupos sociais. O cardápio é apresentado durante o caminho do sertão feito pelo grupo, e nos momentos de partilha com aqueles que encontram durante o percurso. Por se tratar de uma pesquisa no contexto da Ciência da Religião, a cozinha, o cozinhar e a partilha do alimento serão focalizadas em seu aspecto religioso como algo que transcende a materialidade, se constituindo como uma manifestação do sagrado. Na introdução de O Erotismo o autor anuncia estar à procura do homem em sua totalidade, volta-se contra as linhas fragmentárias para perseguir a ideia de conjunto. This thinker, whose works deal with an erotic intention stigmatized as both pornographic and disconcerting because it subverts the concepts of reality and normality, constituted our main theoretical and literary "corpus". Bataille proposes a decomposition of the paradigm of civilizing rationality thanks to the idiosyncratic and obscure rhythms that form his erotic subject, with impure and imperfect subjectivities. In this discussion, we address his vision that consists in eroticism recognized as an inner experience, not subdued to regulation or discipline. This type of experience causes a kind of not-knowing, which reproduces the configuration of wild singularities proposed by Foucault and related to what cannot be assimilated by institutions and cultures. The characters in his literary narrative allow us to observe and define the erotic subject at the intersection between ecstasy and inner experience. They are convulsive bodies emerging from vertigo. Impregnated with this problem, they bring Eros sovereignty with elements of tragic eroticism and of horror that plunge the subject into the unknowable and the rationalizing inapprehensible. What we question in his mind is the challenge of thinking the abject and the excremental, that escape deterministic reasoning and release the vision of contemplative ecstasy by dispelling the significant determinants and the pedagogization that intertwine the social fabric.. The thesis will present his position deliberately at the fringe, which aimed to upset the established order in theology and science. It will reveal the orgiastic itinerary created by Bataille and characterized by economy of outlay, excess, anguish, ecstasy, eroticism, inner experience and concerns. Such a philosophical intent proposes a thought of waste, consumption and reasoning that release from the human condition / Esta tese estabelece uma leitura, no campo das ciências sociais, dos conceitos filosóficos: erotismo, êxtase, experiência interior, excesso, transgressão e ânus solar, que compõem o orgiástico sujeito erótico no pensamento e na narrativa romanescas do pensador Georges Bataille, que rompe com o paradigma civilizatório. O autor constitui nosso principal corpus teórico e literário, cujas obras, estão envolvidas numa concepção erótica estigmatizada como pornográfica e desconcertante, por subverter os conceitos de normalidade e realidade. Ele propõe uma decomposição do paradigma da racionalidade civilizatória, aos ritmos idiossincráticos e obscuros que compõem o sujeito erótico batailliano, com subjetividades impuras e imperfeitas . Nessa discussão conferimos o seu olhar constituinte de uma eroticidade, reconhecida enquanto experiência interior, não submetida à normatização e ao disciplinamento. Tal natureza de experiência, provoca uma espécie de não-saber, refletindo a configuração das singularidades selvagens, propostas em Foucault, relacionadas com aquilo ainda inassimilável pelas instituições e pelas culturas. Em sua narrativa literária, os personagens nos permitem observar e margear o sujeito erótico constituído no cruzamento entre o êxtase com a experiência interior. São corpos convulsivos que emergem da vertigem. Impregnados nessa problematicidade, trazem a soberania de Eros com elementos de um erotismo trágico e de horror, que mergulham o sujeito batailliano no incognoscível e no desentendimento racionalizante. O que interrogamos em seu pensamento é o desafio de pensar o que é abjeto e excremental, que escapa da razão determinista e liberta a visão da estaticidade contemplativa, dissipando significados determinantes e a pedagogização dos sentidos que entretece os tecidos sociais. A tese apresentará a sua posição nas margens, de modo a provocar desacomodações teológicas e cientifizantes. A cóclea humana adulta é reconhecidamente incapaz de se regenerar de modo significativo na prática clínica após uma lesão. Tal fato se explica pela perda da capacidade de proliferação de suas células sensoriais após o período neonatal. Em diferentes espécies de mamíferos neonatos, foi demonstrada a capacidade de proliferação das células sensoriais cocleares através de ensaios de formação de esferas e da presença de marcadores para células-tronco, como o ABCG2. Neste estudo, foram utilizadas cócleas humanas adultas para ensaio de formação de esferas e para a pesquisa do marcador de células-tronco ABCG2 através de citometria de fluxo. As cócleas foram obtidas de pacientes portadores de schwannomas vestibulares submetidos a procedimento cirúrgico para ressecção do tumor via translabiríntica e doadores de órgãos em morte encefálica. Foi possível observar formação de esferas in vitro e identificar o marcador ABCG2 através de citometria de fluxo nas células dissociadas do tecido coclear / The human cochlea is, allegedly, unable to regenerate after trauma due to the loss of the proliferation capacity after the neonatal period. It has been demonstrated in different neonatal mammal species that sensorial cochlear cells retain their proliferation capacity in the neonatal period using sphere-formation assays and stem cell markers such as ABCG2. In the present work, human adult cochleas have been used for sphereformation assay and flow cytometric identification of ABCG2. Human adult cochleas have been removed either from patients undergoing vestibular schwannoma resection via translabyrinthine approach or brain-dead organ donors.
