Linderholm, Johan, Thienemann, Gustav January 2014 (has links)
The following study is dedicated to investigate what kind of problems an organisation might stumble upon in the process of implementing a policy related to information security. Alongside investigating the eventual problems occurring in the implementation process of an organisation, the study also sets out to analyse how an organisation can motivate staff in order to follow the guidelines of a policy. The collection of empirical data was done using interviews. In order to seek answers to our research questions a theoretical background is presented that illustrate the need for information security after which motivational theories are applied to our collected data. To summarise the results of the study we find a gap of knowledge between the employees of the organisation. The organisational level of an employee together with the degree of participation in working with a policy seems connected to both the employee’s knowledge of a policy as well as how well the employee are motivated to learn about and follow the guidelines provided from a policy.

Kom och köp min tro! : En religionssociologisk studie om Svenska kyrkans utbud i sociala medier.

Grip, Matildha January 2017 (has links)
This study has examined the content of the Swedish Church's posts on the social network media Facebook and Instagram. The posts were published during September to November 2017, which is about 90 posts. I have also analysed if the posts could be seen as marketing in this particular media form. Rational Choice Theory has served as an overall theory in which I assumed that people make rational decisions in the choosing of their religion. Therefore, I see the content on these sites as a supply of the Swedish church religiosity that people can base their decisions on. Through an inductive approach, themes have been searched for in the posts and analysed through text condensation. The result of the study is that there are six types of published content, grief management, church operation, divinity, entertainment, religious history and informative posts about the Swedish church election that took place in September 2017. These posts can be seen as marketing because the focus in marketing has shifted from emphasis on the product to the consumer. The purpose is now to provide consumers with information that they can base their decisions on. Therefore, when people use the information on these sites in order to make a rational choice of their religion, the post can be seen as marketing of the Swedish Church, but not in cases when people read the post in other purposes.

Att digitalisera kyrkliga handlingar

Hansson, Oscar, Lind, Emil January 2011 (has links)
With this study we aim to learn more about the relationship between digitalization and the swedish church. We have interviewed two priests and two other persons – one who got married about five years ago, and one who, at the time of writing, is getting married in a few weeks. In addition to the interviews we found some earlier research that were relevant to us, which we read and compared to the empirics we got from the interviews. In our study we have taken qualitative research into practice since we want our interviewees to really share their points of view on the organisation’s usage of digital media. We developed a prototype which we used to approach the problems and get knowledge about them. The lo-fi prototype was a website were couples could reserve a date for a wedding at a specific church, as well as plan and frame up their wedding. We found out that there are no perceived need today to digitize the process of reserve and plan a wedding, even if our prototype would ease some aspects of the process. The main reason for this is the importance of meeting in real life, which digitaliation tend to leave out.

Pettersson, Miriam, Natasja, Dedaj January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this essay is to describe some dimensions of the psychosocial work environment for priests and deacons in the Church of Sweden. The essay aims to describe the essay occurrence of a spiritual dimension wich can work as additional support in the psychosocial work environment. With a starting-point in Karasek & Theorell’s (1990) demand-control-support theory, Hochschilds theory (1983) in emotional labor and Collins (2004) theory in emotional energy has this essay searched for the answer in to what extent demand, control, emotional work and stress occurs in the Church of Sweden, and to what extent priests and deacons experience emotional energy and social and spiritual guidance. This was made by quantitative method, 95 paper surveys were answered by priests and deacons. The result of the study shows that there is a reasonable demand level and a high extent of control in the Church of Sweden. It occurred that the emotional work occurre in a high extent and the informants in the survey experienced a low stresslevel. Furthermore the existent of social support was high and there were a high grade of private social support. The informants also experienced an emotional energy and a spiritual guidance in a high grade. The conclusion of the essay was that in the Church of Sweden the social work environment was good for the informants in this survey. Social support and the spiritual guidance contribute the informants to be less responsive to stress-issues

The verger and the sacred heritage : a qualitative study in Växjö diocese

Sjömålen, Ellen January 2016 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to investigate how the church verger relates to the cultural heritage in their churches and how the churches are affected by their cultural heritage. I also wanted to investigate the problem in preserving a heritage that doubles as a living religious room. Finally, I wanted to know how the verger's work is influenced by the dual responsibility towards the parish and county government. In the study the vergers were interviewed about their workplace and work situation. I also interviewed the antiquarian in Växjö diocese. I then analyzed the results by using Svante Beckman’s concept categories and value typology of cultural heritage. I drew the conclusion that the church instills a feeling based on historical values. I also concluded that the verger’s knowledge and care of the church protects the cultural heritage values. This knowledge is in itself a cultural heritage that needs to be nurtured and protected. Finally, my study found that the county government and the heritage law do not cater to the needs of parishes today. The requirements demanded by the county government have become yet another stress factor in the verger’s everyday.

Lindvall, Mattias January 2020 (has links)
I denna uppsats behandlas Markusevangeliet 1:1-15.

Klintberger, Helena January 2018 (has links)
The purpose of this study has been to investigate the design and role of the diaconal work in todays society in relation to social changes caused by the emergence of modernity. It has been illustrated that the logic of the church is different to that prevalent in late modernity and thereby possess a different inertia and stability than other societal institutions. By not being a part of the logic of modern society, the church is not a part of the expert systems of modernity, which also differentiates the diaconal work from the care work within the rest of the welfare state. A consequence of not being a part of these expert systems, is that the role of the deacon in relation to the people who come to the agency can, to a certain extent, be that of a fellow human being rather than expert, and that a idealism may play a larger part in the work. To a certain extent, the diaconal work is however part of the expert system. The diaconal work can be said to have different roles in relation to public welfare. The study shows that the work to a large extent may be seen as alternative and complimentary, meaning that the work takes place outside the area of the welfare state, or that the same work is done, but with a different character. In parts the role of the work is that of replacing i.e. corresponding to that of the welfare state. The diaconal work also has an urgent, opinion-forming role, when it addresses public sector deficiencies. Finally, the role of the deacon in relation to the welfare state is that of a bridge, helping people in their contacts with the welfare state. Changes in the surrounding society affect what groups of people that the Church social work is directed towards and how the work is being done. Increased economic and psychological vulnerability and the increased flow of refugees has affected the social work.

Diakoni - Svenska kyrkan som välfärdsaktör

Gynning, Ida January 2020 (has links)
Social work is often associated through the exercise of public agency/authority or through treatment work, even though social work is also present in many other occupations. One of those occupations being the church of Sweden, which has a long tradition of social work. The purpose of this essay is to study what the social work is that is operated by the deacons of the church of Sweden, and also what the role is for the church of Sweden as a factor in the Swedish welfare society. The study has been made with a qualitative method, where several texts have been analysed. The results of these texts have presented an insight to the activities managed by the deacons of the church of Sweden. The findings of this study have developed into themes, which are the activities, the approach, the deacons role as ”a voice for those who can not speak for themselves”, and also challenges in the work by deacons in the perspective of structure and organisation. The results have been analysed by using a document about guidance for diaconal work produced by the Church of Sweden. The results have also been analysed by what Erik Blennberger (2016) writes about welfare, and the chapter in Svensson m. fl (2008) about roles and profession. The conclusion is that the deacons of the church of Sweden operate many activities wherein some are through the cooperation with the public sector, and some are completely within the management of the parish. Another conclusion is that the deacons take on multiple roles as social workers in the church of Sweden, where one is providing agency as “a voice for those who can not speak for themselves”. The third and last conclusion is that there are many challenges that come within the structure and organisation for the deacons, where they might feel bound and unheard. This affects the deacons and there is an exhortation to raise the voices to change and improve the work for not only the deacons as colleagues, but also for all people.

Guds dissident : En analys av Dag Sandahls kyrkokritik 1973-2018 / The Dissident of God : An Analysis of Dag Sandahl’s Critique of the Church 1973-2018

Lidström, Victor January 2020 (has links)
In this master thesis the critique of the development within the Church of Sweden, by the Swedish Lutheran minister Dag Sandahl, is examined and analysed. Sandahl is an outspoken critic, and self-described dissident, in the Church of Sweden. He is primarily known for questioning, and being an opponent to, the opening up of the priesthood to women dated 1958 in the Church of Sweden. The source material used consists of monographs with critique of the Church published by Sandahl between 1973 and 2018. The thesis concludes that Sandahl’s critique touches a broad array of themes and occurrences within the life of the Church – primarily the Church of Sweden – such as the Church’s self-understanding as a national church and not part of the Church catholic, a functionalistic view of ministry leading to the ordination of women to the priesthood, the rough treatment of the opposing minority and the politicized General Synod. It is argued that Sandahl’s critique is best understood in terms of lived ecclesiology and ecclesiology proper.
