Fri lek eller aktivitet? : En studie om elevers och pedagogers syn på fritidshemmets två fundament

Syftet med vår studie är att, utifrån elevers och pedagogers perspektiv, jämföra synen på fritidshemmets två fundament; fri lek och pedagogstyrda aktiviteter. Bakgrunden till vår studie är ur vilken historia fritidshemspedagogiken vuxit fram med fokus på det fria barnet, men också dagens ökade fokus på undervisning med det nya läroplanstillägget. Vi använder oss av kvalitativa och kvantitativa metoder i form av intervjuer och enkäter. Studiens insamlade data har sedan analyserats ur ett sociokulturellt perspektiv, mer specifikt med hjälp av Lev S Vygotskijs lekteorier. Resultatet visar att elever och pedagoger är överens om att aktiviteter är mest populära och att det är utifrån dessa fritidsverksamheten definieras. Resultatet visar också att den fria leken är viktig, men att den dels är svår att definiera samt att den fungerar mer som ett komplement till de pedagogstyrda aktiviteterna. Den slutsats som presenteras i studien är att det som vi på förhand såg som varandras motsatser istället har en beroendeställning till varandra. Pedagogstyrda aktiviteter definierar fritidshemmets verksamhet och ger elever som pedagoger en tydlighet, struktur och trygghet. I den fria leken ges fantasi, kreativitet och lustfylldhet utrymme och symboliserar på så sätt fritidshemmets själ. Det handlar med andra ord inte om att bygga verksamheten på det ena eller det andra, utan att de kompletterar varandra på så sätt att eleverna har en valmöjlighet. / The purpose with our study is to compare from pupils and pedagogues point of view, the two foundations of leisure time; free play and pedagogue lead activities. The background to our study is found in the history of leisure time and its focus on the free child, but also with the increasing demands of a more didactic context in the Swedish curriculum. We use both qualitative and quantitative methods in forms of interviews and surveys. The collected data in our study is analysed from a sociocultural perspective, more specific with Lev S Vygotskijs play theory. Our result shows that pupils and pedagogues agree that activities are more popular than free play, and it is with the help of activities leisure time is defined. The result also shows that free play is important, but difficult to define and more used as a complement to activities. The conclusion that is presented in the study is that what we thought would be contrary to each other instead is dependent of each other. Activities define leisure time and provide a sense of clarity, structure and security. The free play includes values such as fantasy, creativity and amusement and symbolizes the soul of leisure time. In other words, leisure time cannot be built on either activities or free play but on collaboration between both. That collaboration gives pupils a possibility to choose.

Michaela Klimešová Annotation This thesis strives to grasp pitfalls of overuse of multimedia technologies by children of elementary and secondary schools in Czech Republic. The practical part is based on quantitative questionnaire and its statistical evaluation in program R. Key words Game addition, non-substance addiction, behavioral addiction, leisure time, school results Resumé The questionnaire in this thesis has around 30 questions regarding time of school children spent on digital devices - PC's, smart phones, etc. Further shortly DD. The data set has 156 children from last years of elementary schools and 157 children from first years of high schools (so called gymnázium in Czech Republic). The results consistently show that the more time a child spends on digital devices the worse has grades in mathematics and Czech language (the two main subjects). So the naive expectations of parents - the more PC, the more knowledge - is utterly misleading. The questionnaire cannot measure negative impact of time on DD up to two hours a day. Möjligheter och hinder för att uppnå en arbetslivsbalans : Individers upplevelser gällande avvägning mellan arbete, fritid och återhämtning

För att vara produktiv på sin arbetsplats bör rum för återhämtning finnas där arbete och fritid finner en balans. Denna balans kan vara komplex att finna då krav ställs på individen både på och utanför arbetet och det kan upplevas som ett pussel att få vardagsbitarna att gå ihop. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka upplevelser hos individer i varierande arbetssituationer, hur de uppfattade sin egen balans mellan arbetsliv och fritid samt om det fanns något stöd från arbetsgivare till anställdas fritidsintressen och återhämtning och hur det vidare samverkade med de anställdas prestationer och hälsosituation enligt dem själva. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med fem deltagare och innehållet analyserades med tematisk induktiv analys. Resultatet visade på att återhämtning, motivation och stöd spelade en betydande roll för balans mellan arbete och fritid samt att arbete och fritid hade en samverkan på varandra där förståelse, tillit, respekt, identitet och motivation ansågs ha en inverkan på produktiviteten i arbetet och återhämtning på fritiden. Det diskuterades om arbetstagares vilja att uppfattas som en individ, stressen om att vara tidsflexibel och vikten av stöd på och utanför arbetet i strävan efter en hälsosam situation. Diskussionen berörde även huruvida arbetslivsbalans uppfattades som individuellt och berodde av situation och person. / In order to be productive in the workplace, room for recovery should be made where work and leisure find a balance. This balance can be complex to find when the demands on the individual, both on and off the job are required and it can be experienced as a stressful puzzle to get everyday pieces to go together. The purpose of this study was to examine experiences of  individuals in varying work situations, how they perceived their own balance between work and leisure, and furthermore if it existed support from the employer, related to the employees' leisure activities and recovery and how that in its turn co-existed with employee performance and health status according to themselves. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with five participants and the content was analysed through thematic inductive analysis. The result indicated that recovery, motivation and support played a significant role in the balance between work and leisure. It also indicated that work and leisure had an effect on each other where understanding, trust, respect, identity and motivation was considered to have an impact on productivity at work and likewise recovery during leisure hours. The discussion touched the employee's desire to be perceived as an individual, the stress of being time-flexible and the importance of support on and off the job in the pursuit of a healthy situation. The discussion included whether work-life balance was perceived as individual and highlighted that it depended on the unique situation and person.

The thesis called "The opportunities and obstacles of active leisure time from the perspective of the high school students" deals with the leisure time of selected high school students. The main aim is get information about their possibilities and obstacles in their leisure time. The theoretical part focuses on the themes leisure time and the development period of adolescence across chapters. That part does not miss the related theme of motivation, lifestyle and technology in leisure time. The practical part evaluates the questionnaire survey and examines activities high school students in their free time, and finds out their possibilities and barriers in their leisure time. Finally, I realized an analysis of leisure institutions and created an online map of leisure institutions where students can spend their time and be active. Beneficial for pedagogical practice are results of the survey which provide feedback for the school, but also for pedagogical practice in high school in general.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur fritidslärare uppfattar och tolkar fritidshemmets uppdrag, att arbeta för en socialt inkluderande och tillgänglig lärmiljö för alla elever samt hur de hanterar de etiska dilemman som kan uppstå. Studien utgår från kvalitativ intervju av fem lärare i fritidshem, vid tre olika skolor. Resultatet visar att fritidslärarna anser att det är viktigt att arbeta med inkludering men att det inte finns någon entydig tolkning av hur inkluderingsarbetet ska implementeras i det praktiska arbetet samt att förutsättningarna i de olika fritidshemmen ser mycket olika ut. Resultatet visar vidare att fritidslärarna upplever att stora barngrupper leder till att de inte räcker till för alla elever i den utsträckning de skulle vilja. Sådana situationer leder i sin tur till dilemman då de tvingades välja mellan olika elevers behov, både på individ- och gruppnivå och att prioritera vad eller vilka behov som väger tyngst för stunden.

O estudo tem como objetivo a discussão sobre a inserção das atividades de lazer no cotidiano dos usuários de serviços de Saúde Mental. A relevância do trabalho é afirmada pela demanda crescente por esse tipo de atividade, cujo acesso é restrito. As questões que se pretende responder têm sua origem em observações realizadas a partir de uma atividade chamada Copa da Inclusão, que reúne serviços da área de Saúde Mental localizados na região metropolitana de São Paulo. Constitui em um encontro de usuários, profissionais, familiares e amigos. A finalidade do evento é promover o acesso a atividades de lazer, cuja escassez ressalta a falta de oportunidade concedida a eles. O aspecto do lazer é um componente essencial na vida dos homens. Possibilita a liberação das obrigações cotidianas. A partir dessas atividades pode ocorrer um rompimento com um modo de viver repetitivo, estereotipado e alienante. Constitui um espaço onde é possível a expressão criativa e transformadora que se reflete em outros aspectos da vida. Investigamos os elementos que compõem e definem a vida cotidiana dos entrevistados. A partir desse contexto verificamos as transformações que essas práticas podem promover em suas vidas. Constatamos a forma como esse tipo de atividade pode constituir um espaço que possibilite ao usuário a compreensão do papel de doente e dos limites impostos por essa condição socialmente construída. Promove a inserção social do usuário ao reconhecer suas capacidades, necessidades e desejos. Três entrevistas foram realizadas com usuários de diferentes serviços de Saúde Mental localizados na cidade de São Paulo. A análise dos dados coletados nas entrevistas é realizada a partir da teoria da Psicologia Social formulada por Enrique Pichon-Rivière. Identificamos núcleos temáticos aos quais nos referimos: a casa, trabalho, o serviço como ponte e a visão da doença. / The study has as objective the discussion about the insertion of the leisure activities in the everyday of the Mental Health services users. The relevance of the work is affirmed by the expanding demand for this kind of activity, wich access is restricted. The presented questions have their origin in observations accomplished by an activity called Copa da Inclusão (Inclusion Cup) that gathers Mental Health services located in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. It constitutes in a meeting of users, professionals, relatives and friends. The purposeof the event is promoting the access to leisure activities wich shortage highlights the lack of oportunities provided to then. The leisure aspect is an essential component in the men´s life. It makes possible the liberation of the everyday obligations. From these activities may occur a breakup of the repetitive, stereotyped and alienated way of living. In this space is possible the creative and transformer expression that reflects in others aspects of life. We investigated the elements that compose and define the everyday life of the interviwed people. From this context we verified the transformations that these practices may promote in the their lives. We find the way that this kind of activity can constitute a space that enable for the user the comprehension of the ill role and the imposed limits by this socially built condition. Promotes the social insertion of the user when recognizes his capacities, necessities and desires. Three enterviews were achieved with users of differents services of Mental Health located in the city of São Paulo. The analysis of the data collected in the interviews is accomplished from the Social Psychology theory formulated by Enrique Pichon-Rivière. We identified thematic nucleuses wich we refer: the house, the work, the health service as a bridge and view of the disease.
