1	Makt och konflikter vid inköp av affärssystem : En fallstudie om maktfördelningen inom en projektgrupp Linderholm, Christian, Henriksson, Olof January 2015 (has links) Studien undersöker maktfördelningen i en projektgrupp, tillsatt för att köpa in ett affärssystem. Syftet med studien är att studera hur och varför makt delas i en projektgrupp, samt hur användandet av makt kan leda till konflikter inom projektgruppen. För att besvara syftet ställs tre frågeställningar (1) Hur formas maktfördelningen inom en projektgrupp? (2) Hur används makt och hur påverkar den konflikter inom projektgruppen? (3) Hur påverkas maktfördelningen av konflikter? För att besvara frågeställningarna används teorier om inköpsprocessen för affärssystem, beslut i projektgrupper, olika typer av makt samt teorier om konflikter. Den insamlade empirin består av semistrukturerade intervjuer med samtliga inom en projektgrupp och interna dokument rörande inköpet. Resultatet visar att maktfördelningen påverkas av kontexten och resurser i form av kunskap och erfarenhet, men också av en aktörs formella makt inom företaget. När en aktör använder sin makt uppstår enligt studien konflikter som kan vara både positiva och negativa för projektets resultat. Aktörer med informell makt riskerar att tappa makt vid konflikter, men studien har även visat att makten kan förskjutas till den med bäst lämpade resurser. 2	Ombytta roller – en fånge tar makten : Talakter, implikationer och maktspel i filmen Bron över floden Kwai Eriksson, Jerker January 2023 (has links) Bron över floden Kwai är en klassisk och prisbelönt film från 1957 av regissören David Lean. Det som filmen kanske är mest känd för är maktspelet mellan den japanske överste Saito och den brittiske överste Nicholson vilket gestaltas på ett tydligt sätt utan att vara övertydligt. Ordet makt yttras inte alls under filmens gång men ändå är det tydligt att det är en mycket viktig del av berättelsen. Saito har fått ett kompani brittiska fångar skickat till sig långt ut i djungeln för att bygga en bro, vilket britterna accepterar. När han däremot kräver att även de brittiska officerarna ska delta i arbetet motsätter sig överste Nicholson med hänvisning till Genèvekonventionen. Maktkampen mellan de båda överstarna tar sin början när Saito bestämmer sig för att betvinga Nicholson och dennes envisa krav att följa konventionen. När kraftmätningen når sin kulmen sker detta genom dialog. Nicholson vägrar att ge efter för Saitos krav och under berättelsens gång övergår överste Saitos makt långsamt till den tillfångatagne Nicholson. 3	En kvinnas superhjältedräkt : En studie om symboliken i kvinnligt användande av högklackade skor på arbetsplatsen Söderström, Helene January 2018 (has links) The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to examine why some women choose to wear high heels in their work environment, even though the shoes are uncomfortable according to some. The study also questions why women think other women choose to wear high heels, why they wear heels themselves and how the shoes effect the impression of the women by their surroundings. The methods used during the study were qualitative interviews of five women and literature studies. The material collected from the interviews were processed and analyzed from a feministic and a discourse perspective with a focus on communication through clothing and societies power systems between groups and norms. The study shows that the impression of the woman changes, depending on whether she wears high heels or not. The overall opinion among the interview respondents is that they like the impression the high heels give, but still choose not to use them due to different reasons. The majority of the respondents participating in the study express that they think it can be beneficial to use high heels and that there is a clear connection between societies’ power systems and the shoes. In the respondents’ work environments, the norm says that the women in the higher positions are those who primarily use high heels and that the staff lower down in the hierarchy prefer not to use high heels as it might annoy their bosses. Women who choose to wear high heels reflect both power and good self-esteem. 4	Tystnaden: Makten, rösten och talet : En analys av tystnaden som kontrollinstrument i Vegetarianen och brun flicka drömmer / Silence: Power, voice and speech : An analysis of silence as an instrument for control in The Vegetarian and brown girl dreaming Guldbacke Lund, Linnéa January 2018 (has links) Silence, voice and power are the main themes in this essay. The purpose is to analyze how the silence is used as an instrument for control, and how it can be used strategically to take power, but also as a resistance against the power. The novel The Vegetarian by Han Kang and the autobiography novel on verse, brown girl dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson are the core of this essay. This essay focuses on how the characters break the silence, and how they use the silence strategically to find their voice in a society that systematically works to keep women, children and men silent. The silence works in specific ways in all kinds of situations, to explore the complexity of the power dimensions a comparative analysis allows the themes to emerge and enlighten each other’s diversity. With help from Rebecca Solnit in Alla frågors moder, Audre Lorde in Your silence will not protect you and Michel Foucault’s Diskursens ordning, among other voices, the essay aims to search for how the silence can work as a strategy and what it means to speak. The essay shows how the oppressing silence is broken in brown girl dreaming, and how the voice becomes the power, but also how the silence was used in the African-American Civil Rights Movement as an act of resistance. The essays also analyze the female main character in The Vegetarian, who makes a journey from an oppressed woman where the patriarchal men violate her silence and forcing her to speak, to an existence where silence, life and growth thrives.
