Suzanne Lilar : configurations d'une image auctoriale

Cristea, Carmen 09 1900 (has links)
This thesis investigates the difficult positioning of identity in Belgian writer Suzanne Lilar's literary trajectory. The conflict between the writer's art and her need to project an image consistent with her environment is reflected not only in the set-pieces of her literary works, but also in her essays and paratext, and in the way her works were received by the press of the day. The first part of the analysis describes Lilar's position in Belgian literary circles, whose proximity to the mainstream was always threatened by assimilation, and within feminist writings. The second part analyzes the storylines in her fictional and more biographical works. The parallel viewpoints in these works demonstrate that Lilar's aesthetic approach, which is based on the need to legitimize her enterprise, is based mainly on multiple perspectives and forms of expression. The duplication of the plot line in her stories, the mise en abyme of the author's voice, and the constant rewriting illustrate her need to make a place for herself in the literary landscape, but also her mistrust of literary writing. The third part of this research analyzes the ethos and position Lilar constructs through her essays and paratext, upon which she bases her literary and social legitimacy. The final part of the thesis reports on how Lilar's work was received in its day. The image of Lilar propounded by the media positioned her within the literary establishment and also within her own chosen social stratum. The press of the time viewed her as she variously presented herself. This corroborates the hypothesis that Lilar had trouble in fully assuming her role as a writer. Her presentation of herself as being out of step with society − in the trompe-l'oeil manner of her poetics − appears to have been the only way for Lilar to shoulder the displacement essential to her creative work.

Marchetti, Greta Nascimento 27 November 2015 (has links)

The acts of telling and describing a story or a happening are configured as linguistic operations performed by an individual since early ages, which results in an event reconstruction or in capturing an own experience moment. When arguing, commenting or positioning about a topic, someone passes judgement on the subject under discussion to persuade the listener. This requires knowledge of the subject that will address and a critical position taken hereafter it. Recent studies have shown that children as young as 4 or 5 years old dominate the oral dissertation discursive form already well developed, which gives them a satisfactory communication, although far from written language formal lines. However, dissertative-argumentative texts are often teaching objects, specifically in the final years of elementary school and high school, aiming to build an academic and scientific speech, known as a product of student education process, within the formal bases. Thus, given the complexity involving the action of arguing and the construction of an argumentative written speech, this study focuses on essay and opinion piece genres, in addition to examining argumentation issues, involving genre structure, as well as assessment resources, in view of persuading that is inherent in arguments. The research, which presents a critical nature, with the support of Functional Systemic Grammar, aims to answer the following questions: (a) How is characterized the structure of the essays and opinion pieces which were analyzed? (b) How is the argument built in these texts? (c) Which persuasive resources are used in argumentative process? (b) Como é tecida a argumentação nesses textos? (c) Que recursos persuasivos são usados no processo argumentativo?

Processos teatrais na periferia: no contexto do Hip Hop / Processos teatrais na periferia: no contexto do Hip Hop

Gerson Araujo Rodrigues 09 December 2009 (has links)
The present study deals the development of cultural actions for young people of periphery through theater processes. The initial questioning was to develop such processes using Hip Hop movement characteristics based on the hypothesis that this link facilitates the access to the youngers universe. The methodological procedures adopted for this purpose are grounded in the concepts of didactic piece of Bertolt Brecht and the theater game of Viola Spolin using themes from the Hip Hop as models for action during practice with theater game. The observed results show that the junction between theater processes and the Hip Hop movement provides an interesting tool for the development of cultural actions, as has been observed to create the propitious environments for the exchange of experiences between young people for they could reflect together on the context in which they live and their relationship to society.

Research-intervention had a qualitative methodological approach and theoretical framework based on Textual Linguistics. Part of the theoretical framework of base: Antunes(2016, 2009, 2003), Beth Marcuschi (2010),Geraldi (2002, 1997, 1991), Kato (2003), Koch (2016,2002),Marcuschi (2003), Passarelli (2012,2004), PCN (1998), Rodrigues (2000); among others. From a work plan, consisting of additional steps, we develop actions in the classroom, which sought to improve some skills writers of the students. We promote the systematic teaching of a text argumentative, opinion piece, contemplating the underlying writing process steps, which are: planning, writing the first version, revision and rewriting of a text. To this end, we offer 14 thematic workshops focused reading and rereading of texts, the study of linguistic and discursive aspects of the genre, writing and rewriting of an article. The texts were monitored along the search to identify the main difficulties presented by students in relation to the writing of the genre and, also, to evaluate if those difficulties were minimized from the activities developed in class. We, with research, verify that the teaching of writing of a particular genre is most effective when it occurs within an international perspective, contextualized and procedure. In the end, compare the first version of the articles with the rewritten version, whose results showed that after implementation of the activities there was improved performance of students in writing, especially in respect to textual coherence in the title role, in thematic continuity and general sense of the text / Estrat?gias para a escrita do g?nero artigo de opini?o na escola: uma proposta metodol?gica ? resultado de uma interven??o pedag?gica realizada em uma turma de 9? ano do Ensino Fundamental II de uma escola p?blica de grande porte da cidade de Feira de Santana ? No. of bitstreams: 1 Igor Gasparini.pdf: 1781173 bytes, checksum: 4b0d7c7a2b4e6ae815252d0b68cbfee0 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-12-14 / The main focus of this study is the cultural journalism crisis, that homogenizes culture and entertainment with severe consequences to the relation between spectator and artistic production. The goal is to investigate the cultural journalism in the analogical and digital medias, facing the emergent digital platforms developed by artists (Movimento 7x7, Discoreografia, and others). The aim is to check if the specific places dedicated to the dance communication are able to attract/cultivate/maintain the public interests, in a moment in which the segmentation is imposed as a form of coexistence. To investigate the relation between the individual with the art piece, the research is based on the Teoria Corpomídia (KATZ and GREINER, 2012). The communication piece‐spectator is worked considering the perspective proposed by MARTÍN‐BARBERO (2009), where the cultural journalism becomes a mediation; and the viewer is seen as an emancipated spectator, according to RANCIÈRE (2010). The studies of SCOTT TIMBERG (2015) about the artistic class, and the ones of PASCAL GIELEN (2013) about the creativity as a fundamentalism are also part of the theoretical foundation. The hypothesis is that the cultural journalism specialized in dance has already initiated a reinvention process, in order to face the increased silence on traditional medias. The methodology was concentrated in literature review, the analysis of a selected corpus and interviews with some of the agents of this context, namely, journalists, artists and curators of public cultural places / O tema principal da pesquisa é a crise que atinge o jornalismo cultural, homogeneizando cultura e entretenimento, com graves consequências para a relação do espectador com a produção artística.

Scalable download protocols

Carlsson, Niklas 15 December 2006
Scalable on-demand content delivery systems, designed to effectively handle increasing request rates, typically use service aggregation or content replication techniques. Service aggregation relies on one-to-many communication techniques, such as multicast, to efficiently deliver content from a single sender to multiple receivers. With replication, multiple geographically distributed replicas of the service or content share the load of processing client requests and enable delivery from a nearby server.
Previous scalable protocols for downloading large, popular files from a single server include batching and cyclic multicast. Analytic lower bounds developed in this thesis show that neither of these protocols consistently yields performance close to optimal. New hybrid protocols are proposed that achieve within 20% of the optimal delay in homogeneous systems, as well as within 25% of the optimal maximum client delay in all heterogeneous scenarios considered.
In systems utilizing both service aggregation and replication, well-designed policies determining which replica serves each request must balance the objectives of achieving high locality of service, and high efficiency of service aggregation. By comparing classes of policies, using both analysis and simulations, this thesis shows that there are significant performance advantages in using current system state information (rather than only proximities and average loads) and in deferring selection decisions when possible. Most of these performance gains can be achieved using only local (rather than global) request information.
Finally, this thesis proposes adaptations of already proposed peer-assisted download techniques to support a streaming (rather than download) service, enabling playback to begin well before the entire media file is received. These protocols split each file into pieces, which can be downloaded from multiple sources, including other clients downloading the same file. Using simulations, a candidate protocol is presented and evaluated. The protocol includes both a piece selection technique that effectively mediates the conflict between achieving high piece diversity and the in-order requirements of media file playback, as well as a simple on-line rule for deciding when playback can safely commence.

Verslo sistemų modelio analizė, panaudojant agregatinę schemą ir loginį programavimą / Analysis of business systems REA model using aggregate schema and logic programming

Janušauskaitė, Živilė 06 June 2006 (has links)
This work presents business process analysis methodology which consists of presentation of the business processes created on the ground of the Resource Event Agent model by means of Piece–Linear Aggregate approach. The aggregate specification is analyzing using first order predicate logic while checking correctness by resolution method using logic programming based language Prolog. The work is concluded with concrete example of analysis of Resource Event Agent model based business process using the aggregate approach. The novelty of this work PLA (Piece-Linear Aggregate) model and the software tools, created on the ground of PLA (Piece-Linear Aggregate), are used the first time for business processes analysis that is defined using REA formalism. The use of such integrated models allows performing the automated analysis of general and individual properties (completeness, deadlock freeness, termination or cyclic behavior, boundedness) of defined business processes. The main results are achieved: • The methodology, that consists of presentation of the business processes created on the ground of the Resource Event Agent model by means of Piece–Linear Aggregate approach. • Verification and validation of general and individual properties by using PLA and PROLOG language approach designed system that executes the analysis of aggregate specification. • Implementing internal accounting controls as constraints in relational algebra, SQL and PROLOG language. • Concrete... Paskirstytųjų objektinių duomenų bazių transakcijų valdymo protokolo tyrimas / Analysis of transaction management protocol for distributed object-oriented databases

Savickis, Donatas 30 May 2005 (has links)
GLOBDATA is a project that aims to design and implement a middleware tool offering the abstraction of a global object database repository. This tool, called COPLA, supports transactional access to geographically distributed persistent objects independent of their location. Additionally, it supports replication of data according to different consistency criteria. For this purpose, COPLA implements a number of consistency protocols offering different tradeoffs between performance and fault-tolerance. This paper presents the analysis of one of two strong consistency protocols for the GLOBDATA system, the voting protocol. A protocol relies heavily on the use of atomic translation primitive as a building block to serialize conflicting transactions. The paper presents an in-depth description of the conceptual model using UML-based analysis of the protocol which later is used to define the PLA (piece-linear aggregates) model of the system, a discrete event-based simulation of the processes. As a result of the work, the PLA model is ready to be used to validate, verify and simulate various behavioral and performance characteristics of the model using mathematical proof techniques.
