Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / A presente pesquisa sobre o gozo na clínica com mulheres devastadas teve como foco o lugar ocupado pelo gozo em seu aspecto mortífero, de excesso e falta de medida, que se manifesta no âmbito das parcerias amorosas. Partindo das experiências relatadas por algumas analisandas, que as descrevem como "sair do corpo", "ficar louca", "descontrolada" ou "fora de si", e das formulações psicanalíticas a respeito do gozo feminino, buscou-se discutir a questão a partir dos referenciais propostos por Freud e Lacan no que diz respeito à constituição da feminilidade e do feminino, tais como a catástrofe e a devastação na ligação com a mãe e com o parceiro, a forma erotomaníaca de amar, além das duas formas de gozo nas mulheres. Entre os temas abordados nesta dissertação destacam-se as operações da castração e do Complexo de Édipo, juntamente com o seu elemento central, o falo, que permitem trazer à discussão algumas consequências para as mulheres, sobretudo as posições implicadas, a saber: o falo e a mascarada. O conceito de gozo é examinado através de três ser mascarada articulações principais. Primeiramente, a tentativa de Freud, que parece a mais antiga na psicanálise, de circunscrever um gozo propriamente feminino, ligado à satisfação da pulsão pela via da zona vaginal; em segundo lugar, o pensamento de Lacan em Diretrizes para um congresso sobre a sexualidade feminina (1958), em que ele recupera a questão freudiana do congresso sobre a sexualidade feminina gozo feminino, e posteriormente no Seminário 7:a ética da psicanálise (1959-1960), desenvolvido durante o período de preparação para o referido congresso, no qual Lacan eleva o gozo ao estatuto de conceito. Como desdobramento, encontram-se algumas articulações clínicas acerca do gozo devastador nos relacionamentos amorosos, tomando como referência a personagem da Erwartung, op. 17 , de Arnold Schoenberg e as mulheres que encontramos no dia a dia da clínica. / This study on jouissance within the clinical work with devastated women focuses on female sexuality, emphasizing the place of jouissance in its deadly and unlimited aspect of excess as present in the realm of love partnerships. Based on the sayings of certain analysands, such as having "the sensation of leaving the body", "going crazy", "losing control" or "going out of mind", in addition to the formulations concerning feminine jouissance, this paper discusses the issue according to the Freudian and Lacanian fundamentals of the constitution of femininity and the feminine, such as catastrophe and devastation in the girl's relationship with her mother and with her love partner,the erotomaniacal form of feminine love, and the two jouissances women can experience. Among the subjects covered in this dissertation are the operation of castration and of the Oedipus complex along with its core element, the phallus, and the feminine positions known as being the phallus and the masquerade. The concept of jouissance is examined through a threefold discussion: first, Freud's attempt to circumscribe a feminine jouissance as the satisfaction of the drive by the means of the vaginal zone; second, Lacan's developments in Guiding remarks for a convention on feminine sexuality (1958) and, finally, his ideas introduced in Seminar 7: The ethics of psychoanalysis (1959-1960), where he develops the concept of jouissance. As far as the clinical discussion is concerned, this paper relies not only on the analysands' sayings but also on the text of the female character from Arnold Schoenberg's opera Erwartung, op. 17.

O presente trabalho procura examinar a experiência psicanalítica através das consultas terapêuticas de Winnicott, levando-se em conta sua realização em instituições públicas de saúde brasileiras e buscando uma leitura não-ortodoxa da construção do dispositivo psicanalítico. Para isto, propõe-se, em um primeiro momento, o estudo sobre a questão do afeto e da intensidade na experiência analítica a partir das teorizações iniciais sobre transferência na obra freudiana. Em seguida discute-se a contribuição ferencziana com relação à noção de tato e a intensidade própria de sua prática clínica, priorizando-se a fase final de sua obra, momento em que o foco de seu trabalho dirigia-se mais agudamente às questões referentes ao lugar do analista, aos sentimentos contra-transferenciais e à elasticidade da técnica. Num terceiro momento, propõe-se um exame das idéias de Winnicott a respeito do manejo e o uso do objeto e as suas implicações na teorização sobre a transferência. Finalmente, pretende-se pensar o campo de afetação que se dá na clínica psicanalítica a partir dos conceitos de introjeção em Ferenczi, o surgimento dos sensos de eu e afetos de vitalidade na teoria de Stern e a relação de tais conceitos com alguns dos pressupostos winnicottianos, para fundamentar a possibilidade de transferências produtivas nas consultas terapêuticas. / This paper seeks to examine the psychoanalytic experience through Winnicotts therapeutic consultations, taking into consideration their being held in Brazilian public health institutions, and aiming at a non-orthodox interpretation of the construction of the psychoanalytic device. To that effect, it firstly proposes the study of the issue of affection and intensity in the analytic experience, in light of the initial theorization about transference in Freuds work. Secondly, Ferenczis contribution regarding the notion of touch and the intensity characteristic of his clinical conduct are discussed, giving priority to the final stages of his work, when his focus was most sharply directed to issues related to the analysts place, to countertransferential feelings, and to the elasticity of the technique. Thirdly, a study is proposed of Winnicotts ideas about the handling and use of the object and their implications in the theorization about transference. In the end, we intend to consider the field of affectation which occurs in the psychoanalytic clinic, in light of Ferenczis introjection concepts, the development of the senses of self and vitality affects in Sterns theory, and the relation of those concepts to some of Winnicotts postulates, in order to substantiate the possibility of productive transferences in therapeutic consultations.

The recent production regarding psychoanalytic literature points out advances and impasses about the expansion of the psychoanalytic clinic in public health care contexts. Thus, the following study has as its aim to investigate the clinical experience carried out by analysts in Psychosocial Health Care Centers (CAPS), taking into consideration the diversity of configurations involved on the analytic situation in such institution. Semistructured interviews were carried out and analyzed considering the establishment of some markers, which distinguished two groups that allowed approaching the theoretical and clinical articulation that substantiates such practice. From the analysis of narratives two markers stood out symptom and ethics which are seen as conceptual frameworks to endorse the invention character, as recommended concerning the analytical experience in such context. / A produção recente da literatura psicanalítica demarca os avanços e os impasses que cercam a expansão da clínica psicanalítica nos contextos públicos de saúde. Nessa perspectiva, o presente estudo tem por objetivo investigar a experiência clínica conduzida por analistas nos Centros de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS), levando em consideração a diversidade de configurações que envolvem a situação analítica nesse espaço institucional. Para tanto, entrevistas semi-estruturadas foram conduzidas e posteriormente analisadas a partir do estabelecimento de alguns indicadores que distinguiram dois grupos que permitiram abordar a articulação teórica e clínica que fundamenta essa prática. Com a análise das narrativas surgiram dois indicadoressintoma e ética- que se colocam como balizadores conceituais para respaldar o caráter de invenção, preconizado para a experiência analítica nesse contexto.

Esta pesquisa problematiza a situação psicanalítica de supervisão de tratamentos com base na experiência da pesquisadora em sua prática numa clínica-escola ligada a uma universidade pública. Para a consecução da proposta, foi delimitada a noção de ‘situação psicanalítica’ considerando existir uma pontualidade relativa a esta noção no âmbito da pesquisa. Consoante esta pontualidade, foi realizada uma reflexão e uma apresentação do método da pesquisa psicanalítica. Nessa perspectiva, a autora apresenta três eixos considerados os nortes da pesquisa: a questão da transferência na situação psicanalítica de supervisão; os efeitos da situação psicanalítica de supervisão na direção de tratamentos e a situação psicanalítica de supervisão numa experiência ‘extra-muros’. Os três eixos são discutidos através de ensaios metapsicológicos, forma de reflexão que se insere na pontualidade inerente ao método de pesquisa psicanalítica. A investigação contribui para as pesquisas psicanalíticas sobre a situação de supervisão de tratamentos, ocorra essa em uma clínica-escola ou em uma instituição de transmissão da psicanálise. A contribuição principal da pesquisa é a abordagem psicanalítica do processo de supervisão, isto é, a leitura da transferência e das formações do inconsciente na situação de supervisão. / This research paper examines the psychoanalytical treatment supervision situation based on the researcher’s practice background at a Public University’s Clinics - School of Psychological Treatment. In order to achieve the proposal’s purpose, the “psychoanalytical situation” notion was delimited taking into consideration the existence of a unique aspect regarding such concept in the scope of the research. In accordance to this specific facet, some thoughts on the subject and the psychoanalytical research method are presented. From this perspective, the author presents three research guiding coordinates: the transference phenomena in the psychoanalytical situation of supervision; the effect of the psychoanalytical situation of supervision on treatment direction and the psychoanalytical situation of supervision in an `extra-walls' experience. The three coordinates are discussed in metapsychological essays, considered to be the inherent reasoning form to such particular aspect of the psychoanalytical research method. This investigation makes contributions to psychoanalytical research on treatment supervision situation, considering its setting at a Clinics-school facility or at a Psychoanalysis transmission institution. The research’s main contribution is the psychoanalytical approach of the supervision process, namely the analysis of the transference phenomena and the unconscious formations in the supervision situation.

Dentro do enquadre da pesquisa em psicoterapia, este trabalho investigou em que medida o uso de narrativas no contexto de psicoterapia de orientação psicanalítica pode tornar-se um instrumento de intervenção e análise para adolescentes que fazem sintoma na aprendizagem da linguagem escrita-alfabetização. Participou desta pesquisa um adolescente institucionalizado de treze anos, selecionado na clínica escola da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, e que apresentava recorrentes dificuldades de alfabetização. Os critérios de inclusão de participação foram: três repetições da primeira série; não apresentação de desvios de ordem neurológica, intelectual ou psicolingüística; e intervenções psicopedagógicas que resultaram sem sucesso. Os dados para este trabalho foram provenientes do tratamento psicoterápico que teve a duração de um ano, perfazendo um total de quarenta e quatro sessões individuais. As sessões foram gravadas e transcritas literalmente ao longo do processo clínico. O material utilizado para a análise provém das sessenta e sete produções escritas e orais em forma de músicas e raps, realizadas conjuntamente com a pesquisadora-terapeuta no período deste ano de psicoterapia. Deste total, foram selecionados um conjunto de nove narrativas que foram compostas em formato de músicas e raps, tendo como critério de seleção o tempo total do tratamento dividido por meses. A cada dois meses selecionou-se duas composições que foram consideradas exemplos destes períodos, devido à maior recorrência de cada uma delas.Os dados foram submetidos a duas análises, realizadas com o mesmo conjunto de composições. A primeira análise indicou que as composições musicais estruturam-se como narrativas, segundo os princípios de sucessão e transformação, propostos por Tzvetan Todorov. A especificidade encontrada no contexto psicoterápico diz respeito à característica repetição. A segunda análise do discurso narrativo considera a questão da Voz do narrador, a partir de Genette. O resultado desta análise mostrou o processo de construção de um sujeito-autor de suas produções como efeito da narratividade do paciente no contexto psicoterápico, ao direcionar sua narração ao seu interlocutor, o terapeuta. Os resultados, ao possibilitarem a análise do processo de construção da autoria, permitem concluir que o uso de textos narrativos em contexto psicoterápico constitui-se como um instrumento eficaz de intervenção no sintoma da não-aprendizagem. / Within the psychotherapy research framework, this study investigated how the use of narratives in the psychoanalytic oriented psychotherapy context may become an instrument of intervention and analysis for adolescents who show symptoms in writing and reading. Participated in this research an institutionalized thirteen year-old adolescent, selected from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul school clinic, and who displayed recurrent reading problems. Inclusion criteria for participation were: three times first-grade repetitions; no presentation of any neurological, intellectual or psycholinguistic disorders; pedagogic interventions without success. Data of this work were drawn from one-year psychotherapy, totalizing forty-four individual sessions. The clinical sessions were tape-recorded and fully transcribed. The material used in the analysis came from sixty-seven oral and written productions. These were music and raps composed together with the research-therapist during the one-year psychotherapy. From this total number, a group of nine narratives, composed in music and rap formats, was selected. The treatment total time was divided by month, resulting that at each two months two compositions were selected as examples, inasmuch the recurrence of each of them. The same compositions were submitted to two different analyses. The first analysis showed that these particular compositions are structured as narratives, as proposed by Tzvetan Todorov. The specificity found in the psychotherapic context relates to repetition. The second analysis considered the question of the narrator’s Voice, as set up by Genette. Results of this second analysis showed the process of construction of a subject-author of his productions as an effect of the patient’s narrativity in the psychotherapic context , in the course of narrating to his interlocutor, the therapist. The results made possible the analysis of the process of construction of an author. Thus, these results permit to conclude that the use of narrative texts in the psychoanalytic oriented psychotherapy context is an efficient instrument for intervention in cases where the learning symptom is shown.

Dois livros da obra de Guimarães Rosa foram analisados: Primeiras Estórias e Tutaméia. Destes, quatro contos foram selecionados para interpretação: Desenredo, Se Eu Seria Personagem, Os Cismos e A Terceira Margem do Rio. Buscou-se apontar o conceito de ambivalência da psicanálise, como sintoma e como fator constituinte do psiquismo. Foi proposta uma reflexão acerca da relação entre psicanálise e literatura. Apontamos temas fundamentais da técnica e da teoria psicanalítica, como luto, transitoriedade e fantasia. Compreendemos como a ambivalência se apresenta nos personagens dos contos selecionados. A metodologia aplicada foi o uso do método psicanalítico para a interpretação de textos, no qual o psicanalista se coloca em uma leitura flutuante, atento às perturbações que a escrita provoca no leitor. Estudos e teorizações da psicanálise freudiana, kleiniana e winnicottiana, e de psicanalistas contemporâneos trouxeram aportes para o estudo da ambivalência e de outras temáticas importantes na análise dos contos. Conclui-se que os personagens dos contos de Guimarães Rosa conseguem retratar esta dinâmica interna do sujeito: ambivalência e constituição psíquica, o que possibilita a universalização da temática e a abertura de novas discussões, por se tratar de uma questão essencial da constituição do sujeito. A compreensão desse sujeito no mundo possibilita novas formas de ajuda a esse sujeito, que é o que fundamentalmente a psicanálise busca: entendimento, possibilidades de elaboração, modificação dos sofrimentos e sintomas. / The current study aims to universalize and generalize the theme of ambivalence by analyzing the characters of some of Rosa’s short stories from the perspective of psychoanalysis. Two novels by Guimarães Rosa were inspected: Primeiras Estórias e Tutaméia by which, four short stories were selected: Desenredo, Se Eu Seria Personagem, Os Cismos e A Terceira Margem do Rio. The goal is to understand the concept of ambivalence of psychoanalysis as a symptom and as a constituent factor of the psyche. A reflection on the relationship between psychoanalysis and literature was presented. We point out fundamental subject matters in the technique and psychoanalytic theory, such as mourning, transience and fantasy. We understood how ambivalence presented itself in the characters from the selected short stories. The methodology applied was the use of the psychoanalytic method for the interpretation of texts, in which the psychoanalyst places himself in buoyant reading, attentive to the disturbances that the writing causes the reader. Studies and theorizations of Freud, Klein and Winnicott, psychoanalysis and contemporary psychoanalysts have brought contributions to the study of ambivalence and other important themes in the analysis of short stories. It is concluded that in Guimarães Rosa´s short stories, the characters can retract internal dynamics of the subject: ambivalence and psychic constitution. This makes the universalization of the subject and the opening of new discussions possible, considering it is an essential matter in its constitution. The understanding of this subject in the world allows new forms of guidance, which is what psychoanalysis fundamentally seek: understanding, possibilities of elaboration, modification of sufferings and symptoms.

Iniciamos mostrando uma das formas de compreensão desse sentimento, privilegiada nas elaborações freudianas e abordada também na sociologia, relacionada às ideias de moralidade e de exposição da nudez, situando-se como um afeto importante na inserção do indivíduo na sociedade. Em seguida, apresentamos outra possibilidade de experimentar a vergonha, associada à patologia narcísica e a sensações de insuficiência, desvalia e inferioridade. Ainda, exibimos um caso clínico em que a queixa em relação ao sentimento em questão se faz presente. Por fim, sugerimos que, embora aparentemente distintas, todas as experiências de vergonha estejam relacionadas à exposição de falhas narcísicas aos olhos do outro. / Our objective is to study shame in the psychoanalytic theory, considering the hypothesis that it would be based on narcissistics issues. We begin by showing one of the ways to understand this feeling, which was privileged in freudian elaborations and is also approached in sociology, related to the ideas of morality and exposing nudity, situating itself as an important affection in the insertion of the individual in society. Then we present another possibility of experiencing shame, associated with narcissistic pathology and feelings of insufficiency, desvaluation, and inferiority. Furthermore, we present a clinical case in which the complaint regarding the feeling in question is present. Finally, we suggest that, although apparently distinct, all experiences of shame are related to the exposure of narcissistic failures to the eyes of the other.

Considering that hospitalization implies in the emotional breaking of the ill subject because he/she is faced with vulnerability and abandonment before death and illness, the aim of this work is to make emerge the psychoanalytical body in the hospital through analysis of the psychic of the subject. We performed a reading of the ill-subject in current times, reflecting upon the contemporary knowledge and institutional postures that cross between themselves for the construction and social-cultural representation of the sick and hospitalized body. From the premises of the necessity of controlling the body it is reaffirmed by culture as well as by the institutions, caretakers and assented by the post modern man in search of perfection that mortifies, imposes a mold, that atrophies the feeling of doubt, hesitation, suffering and that even though we observe that this tentative to resist the encounter with doubt by paralyzing subjectivity processes, the actual body, as an announcement, seeks to remember the existence of the pulsional body disclosing the founding insatiability, revealing the suffering that is peculiar to humans, so then as to be born the being is conditions of analysis ,in identity crisis, emerging the subject of speech, the subject of desire. This is the place of the analyst and the analyzed: face to face with the psychoanalytical body. Psychoanalysis has in this work, the role of paraphrasing, a methodological instrument that looks beyond the socialcultural announcement. Psychoanalysis puts itself as an investigator of the logic of the production of meanings- which emerge or are already made up in an institution that treats the urgencies of the body: the public hospital, in the XXI century. The pulsional body is considered here as that one which produces and on which is produces representational fields in which are inserted subjects and is presumed that these fields are governed by specific logic because they are unconscious- and that they determine their relations: be them organic, institutional and subjective, being the subjects are dialectally also made up by them; as the body, at the same time, is the source and aim of the impulses. Two clinical cases studies were analyzed having as an essential operator, the psychoanalytical method which revealed from the transferential relationship of the posture interrogator-interpretant and analytical listening, the ascension of the subject of the unconscious- the subject of desire, psychoanalytic by excellence, reliving interventions that legitimately occupy the trade to which are destined: care for the psychoanalytical body through therapeutic function. / Considerando que o processo de hospitalização implica uma desestruturação emocional do sujeito doente por fazê-lo deparar-se com sua vulnerabilidade e desamparo diante da morte e do adoecer, o objetivo deste trabalho é ver-fazer emergir o corpo psicanalítico na instituição hospitalar pela análise do sujeito psíquico. Realizamos uma leitura do sujeito-doente na atualidade, refletindo sobre os saberes contemporâneos e as posturas institucionais que se entrecruzam para a construção e a representação sócio-cultural do corpo adoecido e hospitalizado, partindo da premissa de que a necessidade de se controlar o corpo é reafirmada tanto pela cultura, quanto pelas instituições de cuidados com o corpo e assentida pelo homem pós-moderno, na busca de uma condição de perfeição que mortifica, que impõe um molde, que atrofia o sentimento de dúvida, de hesitação, de sofrimento e que, embora constatemos que essa tentativa de resistir ao encontro com a dúvida por meio de paralisação dos processos de subjetivação, o próprio corpo, como enunciação, procura retomar, procura relembrar a existência do corpo de pulsões, denunciando-lhe sua insaciabilidade fundante e revelando o sofrimento que é peculiar ao homem, para então nascer o ser em condição de análise , em crise identitária, emergindo o sujeito da falta, o sujeito do desejo. Eis aí o lugar do analista e do analisando: frente ao corpo psicanalítico. A psicanálise tem, neste trabalho, função de paráfrase, de instrumento metodológico que olha para além do enunciado sócio-cultural; posta-se como investigador da lógica de produção de sentidos emergentes ou os já constituídos, numa instituição que trata das urgências do corpo: o hospital, público, no século XXI. O corpo pulsional é considerado, aqui, como aquele que produz e sob o qual se produzem campos de representações nos quais se inserem os sujeitos e presume-se que sejam estes campos, regidos por lógicas específicas porque inconscientes é que determinam suas relações: sejam orgânicas, institucionais e subjetivas, sendo que os sujeitos são dialeticamente também constituídos por elas; visto que o corpo é, ao mesmo tempo, fonte e finalidade das pulsões. Dois casos clínicos foram analisados tendo como operador essencial o método psicanalítico que revelou, a partir da relação transferencial, da postura interroganteinterpretante e da escuta analítica, a ascensão do sujeito do inconsciente o sujeito do desejo, psicanalítico por excelência, revivificando intervenções que se ocupam legitimamente do ofício às quais se destinam: cuidados para com o corpo psicanalítico mediante função terapêutica. / Mestre em Psicologia Aplicada

O conceito de gozo é examinado através de três ser mascarada articulações principais. Primeiramente, a tentativa de Freud, que parece a mais antiga na psicanálise, de circunscrever um gozo propriamente feminino, ligado à satisfação da pulsão pela via da zona vaginal; em segundo lugar, o pensamento de Lacan em Diretrizes para um congresso sobre a sexualidade feminina (1958), em que ele recupera a questão freudiana do congresso sobre a sexualidade feminina gozo feminino, e posteriormente no Seminário 7:a ética da psicanálise (1959-1960), desenvolvido durante o período de preparação para o referido congresso, no qual Lacan eleva o gozo ao estatuto de conceito. Como desdobramento, encontram-se algumas articulações clínicas acerca do gozo devastador nos relacionamentos amorosos, tomando como referência a personagem da Erwartung, op. 17 , de Arnold Schoenberg e as mulheres que encontramos no dia a dia da clínica. / This study on jouissance within the clinical work with devastated women focuses on female sexuality, emphasizing the place of jouissance in its deadly and unlimited aspect of excess as present in the realm of love partnerships. Based on the sayings of certain analysands, such as having "the sensation of leaving the body", "going crazy", "losing control" or "going out of mind", in addition to the formulations concerning feminine jouissance, this paper discusses the issue according to the Freudian and Lacanian fundamentals of the constitution of femininity and the feminine, such as catastrophe and devastation in the girl's relationship with her mother and with her love partner,the erotomaniacal form of feminine love, and the two jouissances women can experience. Among the subjects covered in this dissertation are the operation of castration and of the Oedipus complex along with its core element, the phallus, and the feminine positions known as being the phallus and the masquerade. The concept of jouissance is examined through a threefold discussion: first, Freud's attempt to circumscribe a feminine jouissance as the satisfaction of the drive by the means of the vaginal zone; second, Lacan's developments in Guiding remarks for a convention on feminine sexuality (1958) and, finally, his ideas introduced in Seminar 7: The ethics of psychoanalysis (1959-1960), where he develops the concept of jouissance. As far as the clinical discussion is concerned, this paper relies not only on the analysands' sayings but also on the text of the female character from Arnold Schoenberg's opera Erwartung, op. 17.

O presente trabalho procura examinar a experiência psicanalítica através das consultas terapêuticas de Winnicott, levando-se em conta sua realização em instituições públicas de saúde brasileiras e buscando uma leitura não-ortodoxa da construção do dispositivo psicanalítico. Para isto, propõe-se, em um primeiro momento, o estudo sobre a questão do afeto e da intensidade na experiência analítica a partir das teorizações iniciais sobre transferência na obra freudiana. Em seguida discute-se a contribuição ferencziana com relação à noção de tato e a intensidade própria de sua prática clínica, priorizando-se a fase final de sua obra, momento em que o foco de seu trabalho dirigia-se mais agudamente às questões referentes ao lugar do analista, aos sentimentos contra-transferenciais e à elasticidade da técnica. Num terceiro momento, propõe-se um exame das idéias de Winnicott a respeito do manejo e o uso do objeto e as suas implicações na teorização sobre a transferência. Finalmente, pretende-se pensar o campo de afetação que se dá na clínica psicanalítica a partir dos conceitos de introjeção em Ferenczi, o surgimento dos sensos de eu e afetos de vitalidade na teoria de Stern e a relação de tais conceitos com alguns dos pressupostos winnicottianos, para fundamentar a possibilidade de transferências produtivas nas consultas terapêuticas. / This paper seeks to examine the psychoanalytic experience through Winnicotts therapeutic consultations, taking into consideration their being held in Brazilian public health institutions, and aiming at a non-orthodox interpretation of the construction of the psychoanalytic device. To that effect, it firstly proposes the study of the issue of affection and intensity in the analytic experience, in light of the initial theorization about transference in Freuds work. Secondly, Ferenczis contribution regarding the notion of touch and the intensity characteristic of his clinical conduct are discussed, giving priority to the final stages of his work, when his focus was most sharply directed to issues related to the analysts place, to countertransferential feelings, and to the elasticity of the technique. Thirdly, a study is proposed of Winnicotts ideas about the handling and use of the object and their implications in the theorization about transference. In the end, we intend to consider the field of affectation which occurs in the psychoanalytic clinic, in light of Ferenczis introjection concepts, the development of the senses of self and vitality affects in Sterns theory, and the relation of those concepts to some of Winnicotts postulates, in order to substantiate the possibility of productive transferences in therapeutic consultations.
