Milan Kundera a intertextualita / Milan Kundera and intertextualityGrušová, Mariana January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis Milan Kundera and Intertextuality deals with aspects of relations between the texts in his novels. The first part outlines the intertextuality, theory of the novel and the approaches of some literary theorists towards this issue. The second half of the thesis analyzes the intertextuality in Kundera's works in various forms, mainly based on the themes of dreams and physicality. The greatest emphasis is placed on examining the legacy of Kafka in the context of Kundera's works, particularly in the novels The Joke and The Book of Laughter and Forgetting. Výuka angličtiny žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na 2. stupni základní školy / Teaching English to Learners with Special Educational Needs at Higher Elementary SchoolsHubáčková, Iva January 2020 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the knowledge, opinions and teaching strategies of Czech higher elementary school teachers in relation to learners who have special educational needs (SEN); more specifically to students with ADHD and specific learning difficulties (SpLD). The data were drawn from interviews with two less experienced and two experienced teachers, and an anonymous online survey. The interviews were coded, emergent themes for each teacher were identified and broad thematic categories were developed; the categories were then further refined. Next, the themes for the two pairs of teachers - experienced and less experienced - were compared and contrasted in order to find shared patterns. Lastly, the four teachers were analysed jointly to find out whether the themes for the younger and the more experienced teachers differed. As for the survey, the data were analysed using qualitative, as well as quantitative methods. The qualitative methods included coding of the responses to the open- ended questions. The quantitative analysis was performed using several statistical tests. The findings show that most teachers seem to possess at least some degree of knowledge about the problems SEN students experience, and the strategies they can use to facilitate the learning process for them. Especially teachers...

The Runestone and the Ship : Places with Runestone and Stone Ship in Södermanland during late Viking Age.Svensson-Frey, Magdalena January 2022 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to get more knolwledge on a detailed level about places with runestones in close connection with a stone ship in the province of Södermanland. The knowledge touches upon questions how these places were created but also questions about why they were created through the theoretical perspective of cognitive archeology. The thesis starts with dicussing a possibly new discovery of an original stone setting for the runestone from Sannerby, Årdala parish SÖ 319, that was moved from Sannerby in the 18´th century. The thesis will argue that this original stone setting is possibly, by the author, a discovered stone ship. Further twelve places have been investigated in the landscape with or/that have had a runstone in close connection to a stone ship. One main result in the investigation is that almost all these places are in connection with a grave field and two places are also by tradition named as a local ting. These last mentioned two places have also erected flat stones while the other stone ships are built with low rounded stones. The thesis further shows how and why these places were built, on a cognitive map with symbols in three different themes. The theme of symbols of religion will show that people were much affected by the change of religion from pagan religion to Christianity, and this could express a conflict in the society. The second theme is symbols that express social hierarchy and statements of power, and it expresses high social and economic status with aristocratic farmers who could afford to travel abroad. And the possible importance of language on a high level in the material of the poetic type of runestone texts. The third and final theme is symbols that expresses the marking of a place, one's territory, and the theses suggest that some of these places were created to express the runestones sponsors right to their inheritance, even if the deceased died abroad. But because there was a conflict of religion in the society the close connection to a stone ship could possibly mean that the sponsors of the runestone maybe needed the authority of an older type of monument to prove their right to inheritance. Because not everyone in their local society would accept a Christian runestone as a legal act.

Eleven i Sen-Moderniteten : En Läroplansanalys och Didaktisk Modell / The student in late modernity: : a curriculum analysis anddidactic modelJohnsson Nuñez, Renato January 2024 (has links)
Giddens bok från 1991, Modernity and Self Identity: Self and Society in the Late Modern Age, används som teoretiska ramverket. / This thesis applies Anthony Gidden’s theory of late modernity to upper secondary school education and, in particular, its impact on the notions of the self and self-identity. It provides an answer to the didactic question “to whom?”. The intent is to understand the students at an existential level, and to understand how they are affected by the contemporary world. Giddens’ 1991 book, Modernity and Self Identity: Self and Society in the Late Modern Age, is used as the theoretical framework. This thesis has two parts. In the first, I carry out a curriculum study of Swedish upper secondary school from 1970 to 2022 and interpret the curricula through the theoretical framework of late modernity. This shows how the conditions of ‘high modernity’ are reflected in the curriculum, which justifies considering how these conditions impact on the self-identity of our students and what this means for teaching. In the second part, I develop a didactic model that can assist in our teaching as it provides clarity on the student in late modernity.

Utomhusundervisning? "Yes, You Get Fresh Air and You Learn Things" : A qualitative study about teachers´ and pupils in grade 4-6Johansson (Segervall), Camilla E M January 2004 (has links)

O desenvolvimento econômico e as Nações Unidas: uma análise da atuação do PNUD no BrasilMachado, João Guilherme Rocha 23 May 2007 (has links)

Previous issue date: 2007-05-23 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The aim of this study is to assess the task performed by the United Nations
Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations main body for development
issues, in Brazil. The method of research consists of bibliographical research,
followed by a case study, in order to strengthen the theme s empirical investigation.
The case study analyzed is the project BNDES/PNUD for Local Development
(BRA/00/031) in the Península de Itapagipe , Salvador, Bahia. The first conclusion
of this work is that the choice of the capabilities approach, developed by Amartya
Sen, is convenient for the pragmatic and consensual nature of the Programme, given
that it proposes a stronger focus on the expansion of individual choices without
questioning the current international economic order. Therefore, it allows the
maintenance of the support of not only countries which act as core resource
suppliers, but also of countries where UNDP implements its interventions.
Furthermore, the sustainable human development is a concept broad enough to let
different interventions be classified under this one paradigm. Regarding the specific
role of the UNDP in Brazil, it is clear that the nature of its approach is the government
cost-sharing/national execution. This modality was first employed in a particular
context, under special circumstances, which took under consideration the interests of
both Brazilian government and the UNDP. It is possible to reach the conclusion that
the Programme´s action in Brazil is more linked to performing the duties of a support
structure, in order to have the projects fully and effectively implemented, than to
furnish content and theoretical aspects to the interventions supported by the
Programme. In sum, the UNDP´s action is limited by the lack of success in translating
its innovative theoretical concepts and ideas into practical projects. Being successful
on this task could imply an enrichment of the projects and also create a clear
framework which characterizes the projects supported by the UNDP / O objetivo desse trabalho é entender como o Programa das Nações Unidas
do desenvolvimento, atua no Brasil.
aprofundar a investigação empírica do tema.
vigente.
