We try to answer, in our work, basically three questions: what moves the athlete when practicing a sport? Which are the meanings and motivations for the practice of sports? At what measure the athlete s experience gains an educational character? Sport is debated in this work as an extension of the living, as long as it tries to understand the meanings inherent to sport itself as well as to the sportive experience as a kind of education. In support of our argument, we give a theoretic and philosophical approach to our thesis, based on thinkers like Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Walter Benjamin, Marcel Mauss and Friedrich Schiller. For this purpose, we get support on the phenomenology of the French philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty. Our reference is the living world of the athlete and his experience as a field of the sensible. Our point of departure is the analysis of the narratives of sport experiences, including five aesthetic elements; time and space of the body in the sports courts; the look on the sportive context; the contact with the adversary; victory and defeat; the technical gesture. Besides it, we worked out an aesthetic evaluation of the movies Olympia and Invictus , what let us discuss three thematic categories: sensibility, emotions and the play paradox. Subsequently, we point sport as an optimizer of the sensible education, present on the body s processes, like the body in movement. It was also made clear along this paper that we tried to accomplish an analysis on sports centered in the athlete s body as an outfit of the senses to things related to the sensible, whose aesthetic experience overpasses any deterministic conception that should sum up the sportive world to mercantilization, discipline practices and mechanicism. This approach franchises gateways to a Physical Education which, containing sports as one of its support, let pupils enjoy the pleasure of constructing common objectives, incorporating the capacity of replicating, re-making and playing as a field of possibilities offered by an education characterized as being moving, sensible and fitful to a body in movement / Este trabalho trata do esporte como possibilidade de viv?ncia do sens?vel e defende a tese de que a pr?tica esportiva ? uma experi?ncia est?tica e educativa, em que se opera o sens?vel pelas sensa??es reverberadas no corpo do atleta, na dimens?o do vivido. Buscamos responder nesta pesquisa as seguintes quest?es: O que sensibiliza o atleta na viv?ncia do esporte? Iniciamos a reflex?o com a narrativa de experi?ncias esportivas, a partir de cinco elementos est?ticos: tempoespa?o do corpo em quadra, o olhar no contexto esportivo, o contato com o advers?rio, a vit?ria e a derrota e o gesto t?cnico. Junto a isso, fizemos uma aprecia??o est?tica dos filmes Olympia e Invictus , por meio dos quais discutimos tr?s categorias tem?ticas: a sensibilidade, as emo??es e o paradoxo do jogo. Posteriormente, apresentamos o esporte como potencializador de uma educa??o sens?vel, manifesta nos processos corporais, do corpo em movimento. This article provides an approach to teaching this unit using the sport education model (SEM) of instruction, which has traditionally been presented as a model for team and dual sports. The application of the SEM to this individual sport provides teachers with an opportunity to provide their students with an authentic, engaging and festive environment in which to learn a sport that has been around for centuries.

Apibrėžti veiklos audito sampratą, atskleidžiant jos kompleksiškumą ir identifikuoti turinį. 2. Identifikuoti veiklos audito etapus ir atskleisti kriterijų ypatumus viešųjų institucijų vertinimo kontekste. 3. Pristatyti Lietuvos sporto sistemos valdymą ir atskleisti SMĮ kaip viešųjų paslaugų tiekėją. 4. Atlikti SMĮ uždavinių atitikties veiklos rezultatams vertinimą. SMĮ yra sporto sistemos dalis. O problema formulado quer saber se o voleibol pode ser ensinado e avaliado com base no ensino desenvolvimental proporcionando ações mentais importantes para o desenvolvimento do jogo e para a vida dos alunos. O objetivo geral da investigação foi a aplicação dos pressupostos da teoria do ensino desenvolvimental na aprendizagem esportiva, em particular a possibilidade da auto-avaliação dinâmica no voleibol. A metodologia utilizada buscou a aplicação dos pressupostos da teoria do ensino desenvolvimental de Vasili V. Davídov (1930 1998), da teoria históricocultural de Lev Vygotsky (1896 1934) e da teoria da atividade de Alexei Leontiev (1903 1979) em atividades de iniciação ao voleibol para 22 estudantes com idades de 12 e 13 anos, matriculados numa escola pública estadual da cidade de Trindade (GO), por meio de um experimento didático formativo. A pesquisa consistiu na adoção de uma metodologia de auto-avaliação dinâmica, por parte dos alunos, como instrumento potencialmente formativo, ao associar o desempenho na execução de gestos técnicos do voleibol ao desenvolvimento de ações mentais por meio da formação de conceitos. A referida metodologia fundamentou-se no fato de que para a teoria de Davídov a apropriação da experiência humana social e historicamente desenvolvida, por meio da formação de conceitos de um determinado campo de conhecimento e da participação ativa do aluno no processo de aprendizagem, possibilita mudanças qualitativas nos alunos, reorganizando e enriquecendo sua atividade própria. Desse modo, buscou-se verificar, ao longo do experimento, o desenvolvimento dos alunos na apropriação, formação e generalização de conceitos, como base para a formação de ações mentais; a atuação dos procedimentos de auto-avaliação dinâmica no desenvolvimento ou reorganização de ações mentais; e, por fim, a análise das alterações nos conhecimentos e habilidades dos alunos na execução de gestos técnicos do voleibol. A análise dos dados mostrou que o ensino esportivo do voleibol pode ser desenvolvido pelos pressupostos da teoria do ensino desenvolvimental e que os procedimentos autoavaliativos dinâmicos constituem um processo potencialmente formativo das capacidades próprias de raciocínio e de desempenho de habilidades motoras dos alunos. Constatou-se, também, que a atuação dos motivos de professores e alunos na atividade de aprendizagem bem como dos fatores socioculturais envolvidos na situação de aprendizagem, exercem influência significativa nos resultados.

Sports club fees keep increasing among members and participants in Sweden, as an effect of proffesionalization and commersialization. When the Swedish National Sports Association abolished the amateur rules in 1967, the state and the market gained more possibilities to affect the Swedish sports movement. Sports should be a platform where children and young adults can spend time and grow as individuals as well as develop an interest for a healthy lifestyle. Nowadays, the proffesionalism and commercialism causes many young athletes to quit exercising sports. Multi-faceted sports are an essential part of keeping children in the sports movement, as well as creating a lifelong interest in sports. The purpose of this study was to investigate the club of Gimonäs Umeå IF in Sweden, to see what thoughts and experiences seemed frequent regarding club fees, also investigate if the parents are happy with the content how the fees were being used. To summarize, the parents were generally pleased with the fees being taken although some were miss content since they had preferred lower fees. The clubs, on the other hand, were disappointed with the contribution from the state and the county.

Pretendeu, ainda, examinar as perceções da professora de Educação Física e dos alunos sujeitos ao MED, em relação ao seu valor educativo. Participaram deste estudo 47 alunos (25 rapazes e 22 raparigas do 6.º ano), distribuídos por duas turmas. Uma turma participou de uma unidade do MED e a outra de uma unidade do MID, ambas com 20 aulas dedicadas ao ensino do lançamento do peso, triplo salto e corrida com barreiras. A avaliação da aprendizagem das habilidades técnico-motoras foi obtida através de testes motores; e do conhecimento, pela aplicação de um questionário. A entrevista semiestruturada foi utilizada para a análise das perceções da professora e dos alunos. Na análise dos ganhos na aprendizagem, foram aplicados os testes de Mann-Whitney e de Wilcoxon, e na análise das perceções dos atores, a análise de conteúdo. O contexto de ensino, autêntico e significativo, bem como o clima envolvente das tarefas de aprendizagem foram percebidos pela professora e alunos como determinantes no desenvolvimento destes enquanto desportistas competentes, literatos e entusiastas. Verificaram-se melhorias significativas ao nível da aprendizagem das habilidades técnico-motoras, tanto no MED como no MID. Não obstante, enquanto no MED todos os alunos, independentemente do gênero e nível de desempenho, evoluíram significativamente em todos os eventos, no MID, evidências de melhorias significativas limitaram-se aos rapazes e alunos com nível de desempenho mais elevado. No conhecimento declarativo do Atletismo, foi verificada uma evolução significativa, independentemente do género e nível de desempenho dos alunos, em ambos os modelos de ensino. / This study conducted a comparative analysis of students’ technical performance and athletics’ content knowledge in a Sport Education (SE) season and in a Direct Instruction (DI) unit taking into account students’ gender and initial skill level. Students’ and teacher’s perceptions on the educational value of SE were also examined. The participants were an experienced Physical Education teacher and two sixth-grade classes totalling 47 students (25 boys and 22 girls). Each class was randomly placed in either the SE or the DI units and participated in 20, 45-minutes lessons focused on shot-put, hurdles and triple jump. The students’ technical performance was assessed through videotaped analysis as they performed each of the events whilst a 25-items test measured their content knowledge. The participants’ perceptions were analysed from data captured during semi-structured interviews. The learning outcomes and inter-group differences were analysed through the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests, respectively. Content analysis served to analyse perceptions. The authentic and meaningful learning context in SE was deemed instrumental by the teacher and students in the pupils’ development as competent, literate, and enthusiastic sportspersons. There were significant technical improvements either in SE and DI. However, in SE all students improved techniques regardless of gender and initial skill level whereas in DI only the boys’ and higher-skilled students’ groups showed technical improvements. With regard to athletics’ content knowledge, all students sowed significant improvements in either instructional model, regardless of gender and initial skill level.

Sports combined with school have become a part of Swedish society. National Sport Education gives students at secondary school an opportunity to combine school and sports to prepare for both a post-athlete career and current elite sport career. The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge about the sports background of the girls and their motive to study National sport Education. At what extent do the girls feel they had the opportunity to combine sport and education but also how does the girls see their future in sports and if their perception of a sports career has changed during their education.All the data have been collected by a quantitative survey that we sent out to all 301 girls who are final year students at National Sport Education specialized in football in Sweden. 51 girls answered the survey. The results show that the girls overall are satisfied with their education at National Sports Education and thinks the arrangements are good. According to the girls’ thoughts, the goals and expectations of the Swedish Football Association are considered a few of them are achieved. What can be understood after this survey is that girls have great ambitions overall and want to invest more in their football career. Most girls want to continue playing football in some way after high school, with a combination of jobs or studies to have something to fall back on after completing their sports career.
