Thématique persécutrice et narcissisme chez des patients du cancer au Cameroun / Theme of persecution and narcissism at cancer patients in Cameroon

Plusieurs patients du cancer au Cameroun pensent que leur état résulte d’une attaque de sorcellerie. Les auteurs en contexte africain attribuent cette thématique persécutrice au caractère collectiviste de la société qui fait de l’individu, en cas de maladie, la scène d’expression d’un conflit interpersonnel et communautaire. Nous tentons de montrer qu’au-delà de cet enjeu groupal, le vécu de persécution et son expression remplissent une fonction narcissique au niveau individuel. Le thème de la persécution chez la plupart de ces patients constitue un déni de la maladie, un moyen d’inhibition de l’angoisse de mort afférent à celle-ci, une expression du sentiment de toute puissance et d’immortalité caractéristique du narcissisme. Ainsi, il s’accompagne d’une hypertrophie du moi du sujet, lequel se croît envié par une personne de la génération parentale dans une lutte œdipienne mais parfois aussi de la même génération. Il s’agirait en réalité d’une forte réaction au vécu de catastrophe narcissique suscitée par le cancer.Le vécu et l’expression du thème de la persécution est aussi la recherche d’une protection contre la détresse liée au cancer par une fuite dans l’imaginaire observée chez les malades parfois même en milieu occidental. Ce qui favorise une richesse imaginaire en contradiction avec l’idée de démentalisation des malades somatiques soutenue par l’école psychosomatique de Paris notamment. Mais les patients sont débordés par cet imaginaire, ce qui leur ôte l’aptitude de l’élaboration mentale, et ne débouche pas sur une mentalisation et une symbolisation langagière. Par ailleurs, le vécu et l’expression du thème de la persécution s’est révélé être un moyen d’affirmation subjective pour des sujets aux prises avec des alliances narcissiques aliénantes. / Several cancer patients in Cameroon think that their sickness is the outcome of a witchcraft attack. Authors in the African context ascribe the theme of persecution to the collectivist character of the society that make the individual, in case of illness, the scene of expression of an interpersonal and community conflict. We try to show that beyond that goupal stakes, the experience and the feeling of persecution fulfils a narcissistic function at the individual level. The theme of persecution among most of these patients is a denial of the sickness, a mean of inhibition of anguish of death related to it, an expression of the feeling of omnipotence and immortality proper to narcissism. Thus, it is accompanied of an ego hypertrophy, which believes to be envied by a person of the parental generation in an Oedipian fight, but at times also with somebody of the same generation. It would be in reality a strong reaction to an experience of catastrophe provoked by cancer. The feeling and expression of the theme of persecution is also a search for a protection against the distress related to cancer by a escape in the imaginary observed among the patients even in the western milieu. This favors an imaginary affluence in contradiction with the idea of deficit of mentalising of somatic patients supported by Ecole psychosomatique de Paris. But these patients are overwhelmed by this imaginary richness, and this deprives them from the mental elaboration ability, and doesn’t lead to a mentalising and language symbolization. Moreover, the feeling and expression of the theme of persecution is also a mean of subjective affirmation for subjects confronted to alienating narcissistic alliances.

This work also makes a discussion if the psychoanalytical theory is compatible with religion. This study also includes the influence of two important interlocutors , the preacher Oskar Pfister and the writer Romain Rolland. And to finalize, the work briefly presents some relevant considerations of Winnicott. The study concludes that Freud s own scientific account became restricted by his prejudicial view of religion / Considerando a enorme influencia que as concepções de Freud sobre a religião teve sobre os psicanalistas e psicólogos, o objetivo deste trabalho é retomar e apresentar os principais textos de Freud que tratam do tema , e proporcionar um mapa de estudo sobre suas idéias, procurando, sempre que possível, discriminar as importantes contribuições de Freud das posições demasiadamente influenciadas por sua militância anti religião. Também discute a questão de se o arcabouço psicanalítico seria incompatível com a religião. La culpabilité maternelle face au traumatisme de la naissance prématurée : sens, fonctions et effets psychopathologiques sur l'enfant / .

Cette thèse de doctorat propose, à partir d’une lecture psychanalytique, d’aborder le sentiment de culpabilité maternelle face au traumatisme de la naissance prématurée de l’enfant. Il s’agira, à partir de quatre études de cas, de questionner le sens, la fonction et les effets de ce sentiment sur l’enfant. La première hypothèse propose d’envisager ce sentiment dans sa dimension paradoxale de « lien malgré-tout », « à ce prix-là » c’est-à-dire offrant une possibilité de subjectivation, d’appropriation subjective du devenir mère et du lien à l’enfant, mais aussi présentant le risque de la désubjectivation pour la mère et l’enfant, la culpabilité devient alors persécutoire et ouvre la voie à la possibilité d’un lien « trop proche », en proie à l’incestualité. La seconde hypothèse envisage le risque d’un défaut de liaison, en lien avec le sentiment de culpabilité, des sentiments d’amour et de haine dans le lien à l’enfant, aboutissant à un échec de la structuration de l’ambivalence maternelle. Enfin, une troisième hypothèse questionne les effets de ce sentiment maternel de culpabilité sur l’enfant, en postulant l’idée d’une recherche par l’enfant d’un lien « coûte-que-coûte », aboutissant à une modalité masochiste dans le lien mère/enfant. / This doctoral thesis proposes, from a psychoanalytic reading, to analyse the feeling of maternal guilt following the traumatism of a child born premature. It will be based on four studied cases and it will question the meaning, function and effects of this feeling on the child. The first hypothesis proposes to consider this feeling in its paradoxical dimension: "link in spite of everything", "at that price", i.e. offering a possibility of subjectivation, of the mother’s subjective appropriation of becoming a mother and her bond to the child. It proposes also to present the risk of desubjectivation for the mother and the child, then, guilt becomes persecutory and paves the way to the possibility of a “too close” bond, to be prey to incestuity. The second hypothesis contemplates the risk of a lack of bond on the same level, linked to the feeling of guilt, feelings of love and hatred in the bond to the child, leading to a failure in the structuring of the maternal ambivalence. Finally, a third hypothesis questions the effects of this feeling maternal of guilt on the child, giving the idea of a child's search for a bond “whatever it costs”, leading to a masochistic mother / child bond.

Neste trabalho pretendemos demonstrar que a utilização da impunidade como suposto motivador criminal - seja como conceito, seja como conteúdo -, é equivocada na medida em que aquela não passa de um defeito funcional advindo do descompasso entre o programa criminalizador primário e a criminalização secundária, ainda que intermediada pela criminalização terciária (midiática). A consequência dessa paralaxe seria a migração léxica não só do verbete impunidade para o verbete impunização, senão a consideração de que essa não passa de um apontar de dedo político, útil ao sistema penal que, descaradamente, utiliza-se daquela desafinação para manter ou aumentar o seu poder punitivo. Para tanto, utilizamo-nos do método indiciário, haja vista não nos ser possível decifrar todas as causas e consequências que envolvem o discurso da impunidade criminógena, embora isso não nos tenha impedido de concluir que a seletividade inerente ao sistema penal, equivocadamente nomeada de impunidade, serve, em última medida, quando bem utilizada, como corretivo da voracidade do poder punitivo. Corretivo que, todavia, para exercer todo seu poder curativo, não pode continuar se valendo da própria seletividade, senão de uma redução do próprio poder punitivo. / The intention with this work is to manifest that the use of impunity as a presumed criminal motivator be it as an idea, be it as a content, is mistaken insofar as it is just a functional fault coming from the mismatch between the primary criminalizing program and the secondary one, despite mediated by the third (media repercussion). The implication of this parallax would be a lexical migration on not only the entry from impunity to impunization, but also the thought that the concept is merely a misuse of political intervention, useful to the criminal justice system, which, shamelessly, harnesses the maladjustment to keep or increase its punitive power. For this purpose, the evidentiary method was utilized in this work, as proved the impossibility to deciphering all the causes and consequences involving the discourse of illegitimate impunity. Although this does not prevent us from finding that the inherent selectivity to the criminal justice system, mistakenly called impunity, serves, as a latter measure, when it is effectively applied, as a method for correction for the voracity of the punitive power. In order to exert all of its curative power, this correction should not take advantage of its own selectivity, but a reduction of its own punitive power.

In this work, it was attempted to improve techniques used in the MZs generation process. First, the influence of data normalization techniques in the clustering process was studied using the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm data proposed in the literature. It was also evaluated the use of the producer s experience as a new variable for the generation of the MZs and a piece of software was developed for the purpose of capturing this variable and managing agricultural data. The experiments were carried out with data obtained between the years of 2011 and 2016 from four commercial agricultural areas, located in the State of Paraná, where corn and soybean had been grown. With the experiments concluded, it was possible to assert that the technique of normalization of data influences the process of grouping when more than one variable is used with different scales of values and that the technique that presented better results was the normalization by amplitude. The proposed variable "farmer s experience" showed good results in the generation of the MZs and, with such, it was possible to generate management areas with different productive potential between the classes and thus, it can be used as a new variable to be used combined with the variables of stable soil conditions. Based on the positive results generated by the variable experience of the producer in three agricultural areas, a piece of software was developed that allows the insertion of this variable by the producer. The software called AgData-Mobile also allows the management of field data, allowing the producer to insert data of all the operations performed in each field and to keep a record of their areas. In addition this tool stands out for being free and for using clod storage / O processo de geração de zonas de manejo (ZMs) compreende várias etapas, entre elas a escolha das variáveis a serem utilizadas no processo de agrupamento, a escolha do melhor interpolador, o uso de um método de normalização de dados e a escolha de um algoritmo adequado para o processo de agrupamento, além de índices de avaliação adequados. Neste trabalho, buscou-se melhorar técnicas utilizadas no processo de geração de ZMs e, para isso, primeiro foi estudada a influência de técnicas de normalização de dados no processo de agrupamento utilizando o algoritmo Fuzzy C-Means, em que foram avaliadas as três principais técnicas de normalização de dados propostas na literatura. Avaliou-se também a utilização da experiência do produtor como uma nova variável para a geração das ZMs, e foi desenvolvido um software para fins de definição dessa variável e para gerenciamento de dados agrícolas. Os experimentos foram realizados com dados obtidos entre os anos de 2011 e 2016 de quatro áreas agrícolas comerciais, localizadas no estado do Paraná, nas quais se cultivaram milho e soja. Com os experimentos realizados foi possível concluir que a técnica de normalização de dados exerce influência no processo de agrupamento quando é utilizada mais de uma variável com diferentes escalas de valores e que a técnica que apresentou melhores resultados foi a de normalização pela amplitude dos dados. A variável proposta "experiência do produtor" apresentou bons resultados na geração das ZMs. Fazendo uso dessa variável foi possível gerar zonas de manejo com potencial produtivo distinto entre as classes e, sendo assim, pode ser utilizada como uma nova variável a ser utilizada juntamente com as variáveis estáveis do solo. Com base nos bons resultados obtidos pela variável experiência do produtor em três áreas agrícolas, foi desenvolvido um software que permite a inserção dessa variável pelo produtor. O software chamado AgData-Mobile permite, ainda, realizar o gerenciamento de dados de campo, possibilitando que o produtor insira dados de todas as operações realizadas em cada talhão e mantenha um registro de suas áreas. Além disso, tal ferramenta se destaca por ser de uso gratuito e pelo armazenamento de dados em nuvem

Le sentiment religieux dans La Comédie Humaine d'Honoré de Balzac. Foi, ironie et ironisation / The religious feeling in the Balzac’s Comédie humaine. Faith, Irony and Ironisation

Le présent travail s’attache à montrer comment, dans l’œuvre balzacienne, la représentation de la foi, pensée comme un sentiment religieux, est fondée sur un principe actif de retournement que nous appelons ironisation. Distincte de l’ironie et fondamentalement non humoresque, l’ironisation construit une problématique de la valeur qui, dans la société du premier XIXe siècle confrontée au désordre et à l’instabilité du sens, semble être la seule forme apte à traduire les fluctuations du réel et à donner à lire la non-coïncidence entre l’ordre du sujet et l’ordre du monde. Dynamique narrative, esthétique et poétique, l’ironisation consiste en une force de déplacement et de déstabilisation, en un nouveau mode critique qui installe la réversibilité des interprétations au cœur des récits, réfute toute hiérarchisation des axiologies contraires et engage une vision du monde où la vérité ne se fonde plus sur une transcendance, celle de Dieu, du sens ou du vrai. Assumant la solitude radicale dans laquelle elle laisse le lecteur, l’ironisation brouille les repères, renverse constamment les significations et refuse toute tentative d’unification systématique : elle constitue ainsi une véritable prise de contact avec le réel et interroge la croyance en déterminant une troisième voie qui échappe à la dialectique stérile nihilisme/spiritualisme.Si Balzac invente toute une théologie originale et personnelle qu’il développe et exemplifie notamment dans Le Livre mystique, et s’il ménage dans ses romans des scènes récurrentes qui voient les personnages confrontés à l’apparition du sacré, il cherche néanmoins à représenter le sentiment religieux dans l’Histoire et à intégrer sa pensée du spirituel au sein d’un dispositif général fondé sur un projet matérialiste et une poétique de type « réaliste ». Cette double postulation se traduit par l’ironisation qui, en procédant à une mise en tension des opposés, le religieux et le matérialisme, le doute et la spiritualité, donne naissance à une unité radicalement polyphonique qui invite à repenser la représentation de la foi dans le monde contemporain à la lumière de catégories nouvelles. Rendant indécidable un sens univoque et faisant cohabiter des réalités incompatibles, le geste d’ironisation détermine alors un nouveau rapport au temps et interroge le phénomène religieux ainsi que le devenir de l’individu moderne et de l’Histoire. / The present work endeavours to demonstrate in Balzac’s Comédie humaine just how the representation of faith, considered as a religious feeling, is based upon an active principle of reversal that we will call « ironisation ». Distinct from irony and inherently non-comical, « ironisation » is bound to the issue of value and seems to be, in the early 19th-century society faced with disorder and the instability of meaning, the only form able to convey the unsteadiness of the real and to manifest the rift between the order of the subject and the order of the world. As a narrative, an aesthetic and a poetic dynamic, « ironisation » consists in a displacing and unsettling force, in a new critical mode which puts the reversibility of interpretations at the heart of stories, denies every axiological hierarchy and entails a worldview where truth isn’t tied to transcendence anymore, be it the transcendence of God, of meaning or of truth. Accepting the radical aloneness to which it condemns the reader, « ironisation » troubles our standards, constantly overturns significations and refuses all attempts at systematic unity: as such, it is a true confrontation with reality and it undermines beliefs while forming a third way escaping from the fruitless dialectic between nihilism and spiritualism.If Balzac invents his very personal and original theology, which he expands and exemplifies especially in Le Livre mystique, and if he makes room in his novels for recurring scenes where characters are faced with the appearance of the sacred, he nevertheless tries to represent the religious felling within the bounds of history and to situate his ideas about the spiritual inside of a general framework based upon a materialist project and « realist » poetics. These two premises lead to « ironisation » which, by creating tension between pairs of opposites, the religious and the materialistic, doubt and spirituality, gives birth to a resolutely polyphonic unity, inviting us to rethink the representation of faith in the contemporary world in light of new categories. Since it makes meaning undecidable and forces conflicting realities to cohabit, the gesture of « ironisation » shapes a new relation to time and questions the religious phenomenon as well as the becoming of the modern individual and history.

Les technologies de l'interaction personne-machine se centrent de plus en plus sur l'humain. Le statut informatif des expressions présentes massivement en dehors des tours de parole, dans les micro-événements visibles ou audibles, inscrit le sujet dans une communication permanente du Feeling of Thinking (états physiologiques, mentaux, émotionnels, intentionnels et attitudinaux). Ce travail a été mené sur un corpus induit émotionnellement et restreignant l'interaction personne-machine au minima langagier. Une méthodologie empirique, sur des principes éthologiques, a d'abord été construite pour annoter les micro-gestes audibles et visibles de 6 sujets. Une analyse perceptive a ensuite mesuré la pertinence communicative de certaines icônes gestuelles. Puis a été menée une étude des occurrences des micro-gestes dans l'organisation temporelle de la tâche et des tours de parole, traçant ainsi le comportement des sujets. Enfin a été proposée une qualification impressionniste des nombreux sons vocaux non lexicaux qui ponctuent les performances (bruits de bouche, grunts, bursts, fillers, interjections).

Olfactory Metacognition : A Metamemory Perspective on Odor Naming

<p>Although many aspects of odor naming have received attention during the years, the participants' own cognitions (metamemory) about their naming attempts have not. (i) We showed that feeling of knowing (FOK) judgments accompanying odor naming failures are predictive of later recognition (Study I) or retrieval (Study III) of the missing name, but to a lesser degree than equivalent judgments about names of persons. “Tip of the nose” (TON) experiences do predict later odor name recall (Study I), but are otherwise poorly related to any partial activation of other information associated with the odor. (ii) We evaluated two theories proposed to explain the underlying basis of FOK judgments. Correlational analysis showed that FOK judgments about odor names are related to the perceived familiarity of the cue triggering the FOK (cue familiarity theory; Study III). FOK judgments are based on the amount of available information about the sought-for memory (accessibility theory; Study I and III). (iii) We demonstrated that the participants are overconfident in their odor naming attempts (Study I and II). This may to some degree be due to the arousing properties of the odors (Study II), suggesting that emotional variables should be taken into account when researching metamemory. (iv) Our inability to correctly name odors are typically not due to an uniquely poor association between odors and their proper names, but rather due to failures to identify the odors (Study III), that is, failures to retrieve “what it is”. It was also found that TOT experiences are unusual for odor names and more so than for person names. (v) We discuss potential differences between olfactory metamemory and metamemory for other modalities. The TON experience differs from the tip of the tongue (TOT) experience and the predictive validity is lower for metamemory judgments about odor names compared to other modalities.</p>
