Mezigenerační učení ve výchově dětí předškolního věku / Intergenerational Learning in Education of Preschool Children

The thesis is focused on the intergenerational learning in families of preschool children. The first, theoretical part, discusses the ongoing intergenerational learning in families and possibilities of intergenerational programs outside the family. The second, practical part, examines whether and how progress the intergenerational learning in families with preschool children and deals with the parentʼs attitudes toward intergenerational program in kindergarten. Research is carried out via survey in families of children, structured interviews with parents and observation and interviews with children in kindergarten. One part of the thesis is to create the design and implementation of a project focused on intergenerational learning in cooperation of kindergarten and senior citizen home and subsequent reflection process, which arises during intergenerational activities between children and seniors from non-family environment.

The work of collecting data was developed, mainly, by eight meetings where artistic works were done using several kinds of plastic material for express in different languages. By the observations made by the participants reports of the living experiences, results were detained it points the idea that doing art has a dinamyzer element of actions that allows the evaluation of the moment of life and the personal relation and then understand your being. The collected material were analyzed and some points were relevant: the intergeneration relationship, many times, is more harmonic than we thought it would be; the grandparents, are open to new ways of learning, instead of we thought to do; the careful art therapeutic look can be an useful tool, to be used daily by the teachers on their work / Este estudo trata da relação intergeracional entre avós-idosos e seus netosadolescentes, tendo como objetivo geral, tanto, compreender, por meio do fazer arteterapêutico, como se promove o relacionamento intergeracional, e examinar aspectos do relacionamento intergeracional como expressão do ser humano. Procurar trazer de forma tangível e palpável as observações sobre os comportamentos que ocorrem dentro das oficinas artísticas terapêuticas, realizadas com cinco adolescentes de uma escola de ensino fundamental da cidade de São Paulo e seus três avós. O trabalho de coleta de dados foi desenvolvido principalmente a partir de oito encontros nos quais foram realizados trabalhos artísticos utilizando vários tipos de materiais plásticos em diferentes linguagens expressivas. Pelas observações feitas e relatos dos participantes a respeito das vivencias e experiências, obtemos resultados que enfatizam a idéia de que o fazer artístico é portador de elementos dinamizadores de ações que permitem ao sujeito aquilatar não só seu momento de vida como seu relacionamento pessoal. A partir daí resignificar sua existência. Após análise do material coletado, levantamos alguns pontos relevantes: o relacionamento intergeracional, muitas vezes, se dá de forma mais harmônica do que supúnhamos ao iniciar a pesquisa. Os idosos, em grande parte, estão abertos a novos aprendizados ao contrário do que pensávamos, e o fazer e o olhar cuidadoso arteterapêutico podem ser ferramenta a ser utilizada cotidianamente pelos professores em seu trabalho

The thesis is structured in three interdependent studies. The first study, already published, corresponds to a systematic review of literature on grandparents raising grandchildren within a period of ten years (2004/2014). The results showed that, although the number of studies on the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren has increased in recent decades, researches regarding guardian grandparents are recent and still scarce, especially when investigating the relationship of grandparents with other development contexts, such as the school of their grandchildren. In order to accomplish the ensuing empirical studies, Ecological Insertion was used as the methodological strategy. Participants were selected intentionally, over an approach to a primary school of the state public school network in the city of Recife/Pernambuco. Diversified instruments were used over a period of eight months, total time of insertion of the researcher in the field. The first five months corresponded to the period of attachment of the researcher to the context, in which naturalistic observations were initiated. In the last three months sociodemographic questionnaires were applied and semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants. The second study analyzes the relationship between guardian grandparents and their grandchildren from a bioecological perspective. Six guardian grandparents and eight grandchildren who answered sociodemographic questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were included in the study. From the Thematic Content Analysis, the following themes were discussed: grandparents’ parenting; joint activities that involve grandparents and grandchildren. The results showed that grandparents’ parenting is a relational process that is developed over time and involves individual and contextual dimensions. On the other hand, the analysis of joint activities revealed that guardian grandparents and grandchildren are primary dyads that influence and learn from each other in sports, leisure and cultural activities, corroborating with studies that affirm that such activities favor the creation and maintenance of the bond between grandparents and grandchildren. The importance of the intergenerational approach was discussed through intergenerational programs aimed at favoring coeducational processes that benefit grandparents and grandchildren. The third study analyzes the family and school mesosystem from the perspective of guardian grandparents, grandchildren and teachers. Six grandparents, eight grandchildren and eight teachers participated in this study. Semi-guided interviews (with a script for each group), field diary and sociodemographic questionnaire were used as instruments. In the analysis of the results, the sociodemographic data and the records of the observations were articulated to the contents brought by the participants in the interviews. All interviews were transcribed in full and analyzed according to the steps in Thematic Content Analysis. The following themes were discussed: the relationship between guardian grandparents and school; the ease and difficulties in that relationship; the information and communication between the family and the school contexts; and the joint activities involving family and school. In all these dimensions the obstacles and the possibilities for the expansion of the potential for development of the family and school mesosystem were analyzed. It was evidenced that important aspects to expand the potential for development of the family and school contexts were put into action with the presence of guardian grandparents in the school context by establishing a direct communication with the teachers, expecting the collaboration of the school in the development of their grandchildren, and suggesting actions and interventions. These results confirmed the growing importance of grandparents for family, school, and society as they play the role of guardians of their grandchildren. / O presente estudo fundamenta-se na Teoria Bioecológica do Desenvolvimento Humano para investigar a relação entre avós guardiões, netos e escola no cenário atual, em que várias mudanças sociais repercutem nos papéis assumidos por avós ao criarem os netos, assim como no relacionamento que estabelecem entre si e com outros contextos de desenvolvimento. A tese está estruturada em três estudos interdependentes. O primeiro estudo, já publicado, corresponde a uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre os avós que criam netos considerando o período de dez anos (2004/2014). Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que, embora os estudos sobre o relacionamento entre avós e netos tenham aumentado nas últimas décadas, as pesquisas sobre os avós guardiões são recentes e ainda escassas, sobretudo quando se investigou a relação desses avós com outros contextos de desenvolvimento, como a escola dos netos. Para realização dos estudos empíricos subsequentes, utilizou-se a Inserção ecológica como estratégia metodológica. Os participantes foram selecionados de forma intencional, a partir de abordagem a uma escola de ensino fundamental da rede pública estadual, na cidade do Recife/Pernambuco. Foram utilizados instrumentos diversificados ao longo de oito meses, tempo total de inserção da pesquisadora no campo. Os cinco primeiros meses corresponderam ao período de vinculação da pesquisadora ao contexto, no qual foram iniciadas observações naturalísticas. Nos três últimos meses foram aplicados questionários sociodemográficos e realizadas as entrevistas semidirigidas com os participantes. O segundo estudo analisa o relacionamento entre avós guardiões e seus netos, numa perspectiva bioecológica. Foram participantes seis avós guardiões e oito netos que responderam a questionários sociodemográficos e entrevistas semidirigidas. A partir da Análise de Conteúdo Temática foram discutidos os temas: Parentalização dos avós; Atividades conjuntas entre avós e netos. Como resultados, obteve-se que a parentalização dos avós trata-se de um processo relacional, que ocorre ao longo do tempo e envolve dimensões individuais e contextuais. Por sua vez, a análise das atividades conjuntas, revelou que avós guardiões e netos constituem díades primárias que se influenciam mutuamente e se coeducam em atividades esportivas, de lazer e culturais, corroborando com os estudos que afirmam que tais atividades favorecem a construção e manutenção de laços afetivos estáveis entre avós e netos. Discutiu-se sobre a importância da aproximação entre as gerações através de programas intergeracionais que visam favorecer processos coeducativos que beneficiam avós e netos. O terceiro estudo analisa o mesossistema família e escola na perspectiva dos avós guardiões, netos e professores. Participaram desta pesquisa seis avós, oito netos e oito professores. Foram utilizados como instrumentos: entrevistas semidirigidas (com um roteiro próprio para cada grupo), diário de campo e questionário sociodemográfico. Na análise dos resultados os dados sociodemográficos e os registros das observações foram articulados aos temas desenvolvidos pelos participantes nas entrevistas. Todas as entrevistas foram transcritas na íntegra e analisadas de acordo com as etapas da Análise de Conteúdo Temática. Foram discutidos os seguintes temas: Relacionamento entre os avós guardiões e a escola; Facilidades e dificuldades encontradas nessa relação; Avaliação das informações e da comunicação trocadas entre os contextos familiar e escolar; assim como as Atividades conjuntas realizadas entre família e escola. Em todas essas dimensões analisaram-se os entraves e as possibilidades para a ampliação do potencial desenvolvimental do mesossistema família e escola. Evidenciou-se que aspectos importantes para ampliar o potencial desenvolvimental dos contextos familiar e escolar foram postos em ação com a presença dos avós guardiões no contexto escolar, estabelecendo uma comunicação direta com os professores, com expectativas de contar com a colaboração da escola em prol do desenvolvimento dos netos, sugerindo ações e intervenções em diversos formatos. Tais resultados confirmaram a importância crescente dos avós para a família, para a escola e para a sociedade, ao assumirem o papel de guardiões de seus netos.

The quantitative study attempted to examine the barriers and challenges of grandparents raising grandchildren. The primary focus is to explore the problems and concerns to determine what are the specific needs of these redefined families. The researcher employed a questionnaire with some closed and open-ended questions, pertaining to the problems and concerns of custodial grandparents. Twenty-five grandparents in San Bernardino County were interviewed to obtain data regarding this issue. The findings of the study revealed that grandparents and grandchildren both are in need of internal and external resources to enhance, empower and support their inner ability to adjust and cope with their new and often traumatic family transitions.

En France, les politiques de conciliation travail-famille reposent principalement sur le développement de modes de garde institutionnels. Les grands-parents continuent pourtant d’occuper une place importante dans les arrangements quotidiens des familles. Comment expliquer leur implication dans la garde des jeunes enfants ? En alliant sociologies de la famille et de l’articulation des temps sociaux, et en croisant méthodes qualitatives et quantitatives, cette thèse s’intéresse aux bricolages des parents au quotidien pour articuler vies familiale et professionnelle, à travers l’étude du cas limite qu’est le recours à l’aide des grands-parents. Cette thèse met l’emphase sur deux logiques. 1) S’il existe une norme de bonne grand-parentalité qui règle la façon dont les grands-parents s’impliquent dans la garde de leurs petits-enfants, celle-ci émane des catégories sociales supérieures et n’est pas intériorisée de façon homogène dans tous les milieux sociaux. Les stratégies éducatives des parents et les attentes vis-à-vis des grands-parents diffèrent selon l’origine sociale. 2) Les contextes professionnels, familiaux et institutionnels jouent comme des contraintes et des opportunités qui influent sur les arrangements quotidiens des parents et les conduisent à infléchir leurs stratégies éducatives quant à l’implication des grands-parents. L’analyse de l’articulation de ces logiques permet d’identifier quatre types de garde grand-parentale : dépannage, routine, intensif et loisirs. Cette thèse montre enfin la corrélation entre développement des enfants et garde grand-parentale, invitant à penser cet objet comme un ensemble diversifié de pratiques vectrices d’inégalités sociales. / In France, work-family policies rely mainly on the development of formal childcare. Yet grandparents still have an important role in the daily arrangements of families. How can this involvement of grandparents be explained? By allying the contributions of the sociology of the family and the studies on work-family reconciliation, and based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, this thesis examines to what extent the efforts of parents to articulate professional time and family aspirations are often stopgap solutions made on a daily basis. The use of grandparental childcare is a case study for such analysis.This thesis focuses on two logics. First, while there is a norm of what is good grandparenting that determines the way grandparents should get involved in childcare, it originates from the upper-classes and is not homogeneously internalized in all social categories. Parents' educational strategies and expectations regarding grandparents differ according to their social background. Second, professional, family and institutional contexts act as constraints and opportunities that influence parents' daily arrangements and lead them to modify their educational strategies as to the degree and forms of grandparents' involvement. The analysis of the articulation of these logics makes it possible to identify four types of use of grandparents for the care of young children: temporary fix care, routine care, intensive care and leisure care. This thesis also shows how grandparent involvement affects child development. It invites us to consider grandparental childcare as a broad set of practices through which inequalities can be transmitted.

The escalating numbers of sexually transmitted infections among the youth require grandparents as carers to talk openly. The main purpose of the study was to support grandparents in their communication about sexual matters to the youth. In-depth phenomenological focus group interviews were conducted. Data analysis revealed three themes: grandparents' experience of communication, emotional experience, and the experience of political and social influence. The study developed guidelines for grandparents. The limitations of the study involve the research sample, which was not truly representative of the whole population of East London. The study recommends that all stakeholders be involved in supporting grandparents in their communicating sexual matters to the youth. A obrigação alimentar dos avós : leitura dos limites constitucionais - da liberalidade afetiva à obrigação legal

Cette étude vise à démontrer les limites de la responsabilité alimentaire des grands-parents, car la charge qui leur est imposée par l’ordonnancement juridique brésilien les oblige au-delà des limites constitutionnelles. Le système judiciaire brésilien impose aux grands-parents des sacrifices et des privations indus, auxquels ils ne sont pas tenus, surtout quand, de l’autre côté, il y a un enfant ou un adolescent dont ce sont les parents qui ont le devoir de les nourrir. Le meilleur intérêt de l’enfant doit être considéré et interprété avec pondération, notamment quand il se heurte à un meilleur intérêt des grands-parents. Il faut établir une distinction entre l’obligation des parents et celle des ascendants ; la première concerne la responsabilité découlant du pouvoir familial tandis que la deuxième se situe dans le contexte de la parenté. Aux parents revient une responsabilité illimitée, et non aux grands-parents ; il revient aux parents d’assurer l’entretien de leurs enfants, alors qu’aux grands-parents ne peut être assignée que la responsabilité de nourriture, et encore, à titre subsidiaire. L’obligation alimentaire entre parents et enfants n’implique pas la réciprocité: il s’agit d’une obligation unilatérale ; entre grands-parents et petits-enfants, au contraire, la réciprocité est prévue par la loi, les grands-parents devront subvenir aux besoins de leurs petits-enfants, une fois leurs propres besoins satisfaits. Entre parents et enfants, se posent d’abord les intérêts des enfants ; entre grands-parents et petit-enfants, d’abord les besoins des grands-parents. O sistema judiciário brasileiro atribui aos avós sacrifícios e privações indevidos, a que não estão obrigados, principalmente quando, do lado oposto, se encontra uma criança ou adolescente, cujos pais é que detêm o dever de os alimentar. O melhor interesse da criança deve ser lido e interpretado com ponderação, notadamente quando colide com o melhor interesse dos avós. É preciso estabelecer a distinção entre a obrigação parental e a obrigação avoenga: esta se situa no âmbito do parentesco, enquanto aquela diz com a responsabilidade decorrente do poder familiar. Aos pais cabe responsabilidade ilimitada, e não aos avós; os pais devem prover os alimentos naturais e civis de seus filhos, ao passo que aos avós somente pode ser atribuída a responsabilidade dos alimentos naturais, e ainda assim, em caráter subsidiário. A obrigação alimentar entre pais e filhos não implica reciprocidade: trata-se de uma obrigação unilateral; entre avós e netos, ao contrário, existe a reciprocidade prevista em lei, e deverão os avós complementar as necessidades dos netos somente depois de supridas as suas próprias. Entre pais e filhos, em primeiro lugar, põem-se os interesses do filho; entre avós e netos, em primeiro lugar, estão as necessidades dos avós. Determinar de forma diversa desrespeita os preceitos constitucionais, atentando contra os mais elementares direitos dos progenitores, ferindo sua dignidade. Demonstrar a distinção entre a obrigação legal e a liberalidade afetiva, à luz da constituição, e situar o papel dos avós nesse contexto é o que se propõe este estudo. / The present thesis aims at analyzing the limits of child support by grandparents as the Brazilian Judicial System imposes them an obligation beyond constitutional boundaries. Furthermore, the Brazilian Judiciary inflicts on them sacrifices, ordeals and privations which ought to be imputed to parents. Moreover, it is necessary to distinguish between parenting and grandparenting obligation – the latter is related to family ties, and the first to family power; therefore, parents have an unlimited responsibility, contrary to grandparents, whose responsibility should be regarded as subsidiary. In view of that, the best interest of the child has to be interpreted with ponderation, mainly when it collides with the best interest of the grandparents; nonetheless, parental child support is a unilateral obligation which does not require reciprocity. Regardless of the fact grandparent child support reciprocity is lawful, grandparents should ensure the needs of the child only after providing for their own. Notwithstanding, parents are the ones to secure for the best interest of their children; consequently, in a relationship involving grandparents and grandchildren, the best interest of the grandparents are to come first - the contrary would not only be unconstitutional, but would also hurt their dignity. Finally, it is also the aim of this paper to establish the difference between legal obligation and liberality at the light of the Constitution. / El presente estudio pretende demostrar los límites de la responsabilidad alimentaria de los abuelos y abuelas, pues el encargo que les da el ordenamiento brasilero los obliga allá de los límites constitucionales. El sistema jurídico brasileño hace que los abuelos y abuelas tengan sacrificios y privaciones indebidas, a los cuales no están obligados, principalmente cuando en el otro lado se encuentra un niño, una niña o un adolescente cuyos padres y madres tienen el deber de los alimentar. El mejor interés del niño y de la niña, debe ser leído e interpretado con ponderación, principalmente cuando se encuentra con el mejor interés de los abuelos y abuelas. Es necesario que se establezca la distinción entre la obligación de los padres y madres y la obligación de los abuelos y abuelas; esa está ubicada en el ámbito del parentesco, mientras la otra deviene del ejercicio de la responsabilidad parental. A los padres y madres les compete la responsabilidad sin límites, y no a los abuelos o abuelas; los primeros deben dar sustento a los hijos e hijas y darles los alimentos naturales y civiles, al paso que a los abuelos y abuelas solamente se les puede atribuir la responsabilidad de los alimentos naturales, en carácter subsidiario. La obligación alimentar entre los padres y madres y los hijos e hijas no implica reciprocidad, pues es una obligación unilateral, al paso que entre abuelos y abuelas y nietos y nietas, al contrario, existe reciprocidad establecida en ley y los abuelos deben, sí, complementar las necesidades de sus nietos y nietas, pero solamente después que sus propias necesidades están ya satisfechas. Entre padres y madres e hijos e hijas, en primero lugar se ponen los intereses de éstos últimos, pero entre abuelos y abuelas y nietos y nietas, primeramente están ubicadas las necesidades de las personas adultas mayores. Hacerlo de forma diversa es irrespeto a los preceptos constitucionales, y atenta con los más elementares derechos de los progenitores, hiriendo de muerte su dignidad. Demostrar la distinción entre la obligación legal y la liberalidad afectiva, bajo de la luz de la Constitución Política, y ubicar el rol de los abuelos y abuelas en ese contexto, es lo que se propone en este estudio.

Le système judiciaire brésilien impose aux grands-parents des sacrifices et des privations indus, auxquels ils ne sont pas tenus, surtout quand, de l’autre côté, il y a un enfant ou un adolescent dont ce sont les parents qui ont le devoir de les nourrir. Le meilleur intérêt de l’enfant doit être considéré et interprété avec pondération, notamment quand il se heurte à un meilleur intérêt des grands-parents. Il faut établir une distinction entre l’obligation des parents et celle des ascendants ; la première concerne la responsabilité découlant du pouvoir familial tandis que la deuxième se situe dans le contexte de la parenté. Aux parents revient une responsabilité illimitée, et non aux grands-parents ; il revient aux parents d’assurer l’entretien de leurs enfants, alors qu’aux grands-parents ne peut être assignée que la responsabilité de nourriture, et encore, à titre subsidiaire. L’obligation alimentaire entre parents et enfants n’implique pas la réciprocité: il s’agit d’une obligation unilatérale ; entre grands-parents et petits-enfants, au contraire, la réciprocité est prévue par la loi, les grands-parents devront subvenir aux besoins de leurs petits-enfants, une fois leurs propres besoins satisfaits. Entre parents et enfants, se posent d’abord les intérêts des enfants ; entre grands-parents et petit-enfants, d’abord les besoins des grands-parents. Une détermination différente n’est pas conforme aux préceptes constitutionnels, et porte atteinte aux droits les plus élémentaires des ascendants, en blessant leur dignité. Etablir la distinction entre obligation légale et libéralité affective, à la lumière de la constitution, c’est le but de cette thèse. / O presente estudo visa a demonstrar os limites da responsabilidade alimentar dos avós, pois o ônus que lhes é imposto no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro os obriga além dos limites constitucionais. O sistema judiciário brasileiro atribui aos avós sacrifícios e privações indevidos, a que não estão obrigados, principalmente quando, do lado oposto, se encontra uma criança ou adolescente, cujos pais é que detêm o dever de os alimentar. O melhor interesse da criança deve ser lido e interpretado com ponderação, notadamente quando colide com o melhor interesse dos avós. É preciso estabelecer a distinção entre a obrigação parental e a obrigação avoenga: esta se situa no âmbito do parentesco, enquanto aquela diz com a responsabilidade decorrente do poder familiar. Aos pais cabe responsabilidade ilimitada, e não aos avós; os pais devem prover os alimentos naturais e civis de seus filhos, ao passo que aos avós somente pode ser atribuída a responsabilidade dos alimentos naturais, e ainda assim, em caráter subsidiário. A obrigação alimentar entre pais e filhos não implica reciprocidade: trata-se de uma obrigação unilateral; entre avós e netos, ao contrário, existe a reciprocidade prevista em lei, e deverão os avós complementar as necessidades dos netos somente depois de supridas as suas próprias. Entre pais e filhos, em primeiro lugar, põem-se os interesses do filho; entre avós e netos, em primeiro lugar, estão as necessidades dos avós. Determinar de forma diversa desrespeita os preceitos constitucionais, atentando contra os mais elementares direitos dos progenitores, ferindo sua dignidade. Demonstrar a distinção entre a obrigação legal e a liberalidade afetiva, à luz da constituição, e situar o papel dos avós nesse contexto é o que se propõe este estudo. / The present thesis aims at analyzing the limits of child support by grandparents as the Brazilian Judicial System imposes them an obligation beyond constitutional boundaries. Furthermore, the Brazilian Judiciary inflicts on them sacrifices, ordeals and privations which ought to be imputed to parents. Moreover, it is necessary to distinguish between parenting and grandparenting obligation – the latter is related to family ties, and the first to family power; therefore, parents have an unlimited responsibility, contrary to grandparents, whose responsibility should be regarded as subsidiary. In view of that, the best interest of the child has to be interpreted with ponderation, mainly when it collides with the best interest of the grandparents; nonetheless, parental child support is a unilateral obligation which does not require reciprocity. Regardless of the fact grandparent child support reciprocity is lawful, grandparents should ensure the needs of the child only after providing for their own. Notwithstanding, parents are the ones to secure for the best interest of their children; consequently, in a relationship involving grandparents and grandchildren, the best interest of the grandparents are to come first - the contrary would not only be unconstitutional, but would also hurt their dignity. Finally, it is also the aim of this paper to establish the difference between legal obligation and liberality at the light of the Constitution. / El presente estudio pretende demostrar los límites de la responsabilidad alimentaria de los abuelos y abuelas, pues el encargo que les da el ordenamiento brasilero los obliga allá de los límites constitucionales. El sistema jurídico brasileño hace que los abuelos y abuelas tengan sacrificios y privaciones indebidas, a los cuales no están obligados, principalmente cuando en el otro lado se encuentra un niño, una niña o un adolescente cuyos padres y madres tienen el deber de los alimentar. El mejor interés del niño y de la niña, debe ser leído e interpretado con ponderación, principalmente cuando se encuentra con el mejor interés de los abuelos y abuelas. Es necesario que se establezca la distinción entre la obligación de los padres y madres y la obligación de los abuelos y abuelas; esa está ubicada en el ámbito del parentesco, mientras la otra deviene del ejercicio de la responsabilidad parental. A los padres y madres les compete la responsabilidad sin límites, y no a los abuelos o abuelas; los primeros deben dar sustento a los hijos e hijas y darles los alimentos naturales y civiles, al paso que a los abuelos y abuelas solamente se les puede atribuir la responsabilidad de los alimentos naturales, en carácter subsidiario. La obligación alimentar entre los padres y madres y los hijos e hijas no implica reciprocidad, pues es una obligación unilateral, al paso que entre abuelos y abuelas y nietos y nietas, al contrario, existe reciprocidad establecida en ley y los abuelos deben, sí, complementar las necesidades de sus nietos y nietas, pero solamente después que sus propias necesidades están ya satisfechas. Entre padres y madres e hijos e hijas, en primero lugar se ponen los intereses de éstos últimos, pero entre abuelos y abuelas y nietos y nietas, primeramente están ubicadas las necesidades de las personas adultas mayores. Hacerlo de forma diversa es irrespeto a los preceptos constitucionales, y atenta con los más elementares derechos de los progenitores, hiriendo de muerte su dignidad. Demostrar la distinción entre la obligación legal y la liberalidad afectiva, bajo de la luz de la Constitución Política, y ubicar el rol de los abuelos y abuelas en ese contexto, es lo que se propone en este estudio.
