Amabili, Rita 03 1900 (has links)
The objective of this dissertation is to analyze a praxis, mine, using praxeology techniques, in an attempt at reaffirming the validity of my work as an author serving faith. As a matter of fact, the writing of Saffia, femme de Smyrne, which started after about fifteen years of an active professional life as a writer, lead me to believe that this historical novel and its presentation are tools adapted for the transmission of the Gospel. My research begins with a general presentation of the work of fiction, Saffia, femme de Smyrne, as well as the ensuing conferences. I then put into words the observation of the secondary discourse composed of readers’ opinions or impressions. My interpretation and/or hypothesis arise from my problematisation defined by the praxeological question Why do I do what I do and through the five development functions. The part relating to the transmission of the Gospel is evaluated through readings in theology which highlight the studies of authors such as Jean-Guy Nadeau, Pierre Vadeboncœur, and Norbert Greinacher, while that referring to the social sciences is studied using works of specialists such as Gérard Delteil, Régis Debray, Félix Moser and Antoine Compagnon. Supported by these different studies, I am in a better position to define what fiction can bring to the transmission of the Gospel based on studies of fiction in theology by authors such as Paul Ricœur and Joseph Moingt. I conclude with a reflection on the transmission method of Saffia, femme de Smyrne and, I hope, with an explanation, namely, of why I continue using fiction to transmit the Gospel. A short story makes it possible for me to apply my study and, thereby, to open my reflection in a praxis.

[en] THE PURPOSE OF JESUS PARABLES: AN EXEGETICAL STUDY OF MK 4,10-12 / [pt] O PROPÓSITO DAS PARÁBOLAS DE JESUS: UM ESTUDO EXEGÉTICO DE MC 4,10-12

DINIS MANUEL NHANGA MONA 10 October 2017 (has links)
[en] The purpose of Jesus parables, an exegetical study of Mk 4,10-12. This research survey the purpose of the use of parables in Jesus teachings, namely, what is or which are the reasons that led Jesus to use parables in his teachings. To achieve the goals outlined, this research combined narrative analysis and rhetorical analysis methodology, considering of historical elements of the text. Thereby the exegesis reached a result, bring up another interpretation possibility of theory about Jesus teaching by parables as it apear in Mk 4, 10-12. The research conclud that in current setting there is the possibility to acknowledge that the refered section of text does not state that Jesus taught by parables with the purpose of hardering hearts of his listeners, and to rise difficulties upon him in acessing of the things of the kingdom of God. Instead this exegesis conclude that Jesus used parables in his teachings with purpose to make easy the understanding process of all his listeners, bring up to the understanding the things of the kingdom of God through a language that was familiar and natural to his listeners.

Tiago Samuel Lopes de Carvalho 11 October 2013 (has links)
Language is not only a means through which human beings express their thought. It also is not simply a virtual code ready and available outside of the formation context. Any one of these comprehensions, each in its own way, does not consider the speakers and the situations of use as determiners of the facts and rules of the language. Language is essentially dialogic and should be understood as a form or process of inter-action, in which the users interact as social subjects. It is not the work of one individual, but the social and historical work of that individual and of others. And it is constituted for the others and with the others. That is why it is affirmed that the interactions occur within an enormous social, historical and ideological context and, in these limits, language suffers interferences. This concept demands a differentiated reading of the biblical text, that is, an approach which takes in the historical, social and dialogic aspect of the text. Thus, what is being proposed is a biblical reading through the sociological method, a reading from the four sides. This method is based on the presupposition that there exist four sides or aspects which determine the social life of a people. It is a methodology orientated toward a simplified reading with didactic goals, which presents the totality of the social dynamism in four great aspects or dimensions of the social reality, that is: economic, social, political and ideological. Based on the dialogic concept of the text, on the theory of genres, on the historical-cultural aspect with data obtained from an exegetical analysis and, especially, on the sociological aspect of the parable of the Good Samaritan, this paper carries out a sociological reading of the text of Luke 10:25-37 to reach the goal of the parable of the Good Samaritan. With this reading various social voices were identified which permeate the text as was also identified a peculiar proposal of a Christian model which seeks the protagonist of the Christian love instead of being concerned with the object and the limit of this compassion.

Being the rst of these sets presented by the axioms of Peano (1858 - 1932) and the latter results of Dedekind cuts (1831 - 1916) on the set of rational numbers. The passage the set of natural numbers to the integers and for these the rational is done by equivalence classes. From a historical perspective, in order to do that mathematics could advance, had to migrate from a sense of \reality" to an abstract concept of number not subject to the amount of idea. Since the beginning of this formal-logical construction of number systems it is necessary to use the concept of correspondences between any two non-empty sets. 改變之起始:巴特勒《比喻》系列之希望、烏托邦主義和生存 / Seeds of change: hope, utopianism and survival in Butler’s parable series

Yu, Chin Yun Unknown Date (has links)
Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents depict a postapocalyptic dystopian world, extrapolated from the problems of present day society to provide us with a warning of our conceivable future. They raise awareness of current social problems, while maintaining a locus of hope and providing possible alternatives for social change. In the contemporary genre of “critical dystopias,” the Parable series merges together with the genre of postapocalyptic fiction to demonstrate a dialectical relationship between hope, utopianism and survival. The importance of survival is emphasized in the Parables through the belief system of Earthseed and its core idea of “God is Change,” and can be further distinguished into two levels—immediate survival and lasting survival, which also exist in a dialectical relationship with each other. The aim of this thesis is to discuss how the concepts of hope, utopianism and survival interact in the Parables, and what this unique dialectical relationship reflects about contemporary literary utopias and the present. This thesis is divided into five chapters: Chapter One defines utopia through the function of social change; Chapter Two provides a brief overview of the development of the literary utopian genre and establishes the Parables as critical dystopias, a form that enables and constitutes the dialectical relationship of hope, utopianism and survival; Chapter Three and Four contain the textual analysis of how the dialectical relationship between hope, utopianism and survival functions in the Parables, with Chapter Three focusing on Parable of the Sower and immediate survival, and Chapter Four focusing on Parable of the Talents and lasting survival; finally, Chapter Five concludes with how the Parables relate to our present social conditions, and how understanding the dialectical relationship between hope, utopianism and survival may assist humanity’s effort to avert a major crisis.
