[pt] O presente trabalho retoma de forma sistemática, o percurso que marcou a caminhada do Povo de Deus nas Arquidioceses de Mariana e de Montes Claros, com ênfase no período pós-conciliar. A partir deste objetivo, revisitamos a história da formação do catolicismo nestas duas Igrejas locais do estado de Minas Gerais, o que nos permite perceber como a Igreja Católica se consolidou na região mineradora e no Norte de Minas. De posse destes dados históricos lidos á luz da teologia da recepção, voltamos o nosso olhar sobre Segundo Sínodo de Mariana e para a Terceira Assembleia diocesana de Pastoral de Montes Claros. A partir destes eventos diocesanos podemos verificar como o Vaticano II foi recebido por estas dioceses cerca de vinte e cinco anos depois da promulgação dos textos do Concílio. / [en] The present work systematically takes up the path that marked the journey of the People of God in the Archdioceses of Mariana and Montes Claros, with emphasis on the post-conciliar period. From this objective, we revisit the history of the formation of Catholicism in these two local Churches of the State of Minas Gerais, which allows us to perceive how the Catholic Church consolidated in the mining region and in the north of Minas. With this historical data read in the light of theology of reception, we turn our gaze to the Second Synod of Mariana and to the Third Diocesan Pastoral Assembly of Montes Claros. From these diocesan events we can see how Vatican II was received by these dioceses about twenty-five years after the promulgation of the texts of the Council.

[pt] Esta tese foi desenvolvida com o objetivo de analisar a caminhada histórica da atuação das Sociedades Bíblicas no Brasil, sob a ótica da difusão das Escrituras Sagradas. Para melhor contextualizar a temática, a análise teve início no tempo da transmissão oral da Palavra de Deus, antes de qualquer registro por escrito, e se desenvolveu pelos diversos contextos em que as Escrituras acompanharam o povo de Deus na história, tanto na realidade do povo de Israel quanto na perspectiva da igreja cristã. O trabalho de difusão das Escrituras, realizado pelas Sociedades Bíblicas no Brasil, constituiu o objeto principal do estudo. Analisou-se como se deu o processo de chegada e o desenvolvimento do trabalho das Sociedades Bíblicas em quase duzentos anos de atividades no país. De forma especifica, discorreu-se sobre o trabalho realizado pela Sociedade Bíblica do Brasil (SBB) desde a sua fundação, em 1948. Esse trabalho foi analisado a partir do ciclo de vida da Bíblia, método utilizado para a SBB tornar a Bíblia disponível, acessível e relevante na sociedade e na igreja. O trabalho foi desenvolvido sob as bases de uma pesquisa histórica. Sua área de concentração foi estabelecida na teologia sistemática-pastoral. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa foi realizada por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica, contemplada por historiadores e biblistas que são referenciais em relação a temática proposta. Foram também utilizadas pesquisas em documentos oficiais disponibilizados pela SBB. No último capítulo foram utilizados além da descrição histórica, uma análise de conteúdo com base nas atividades desenvolvidas pela SBB por meio do ciclo de vida da Bíblia. Os resultados evidenciaram que o trabalho de difusão das Escrituras, desenvolvido pelas Sociedades Bíblicas no Brasil, em especial a SBB, tem contribuído de forma significativa com a igreja e a realidade da sociedade brasileira em diversos aspectos sociais e espirituais. / [en] This thesis has been developed with aim of analyzing the the historical journey of the Biblical Societies in Brazil, from the point of view of the diffusion of the Holy Scriptures. In order to better contextualize the theme, the analyze had its beginning during the time of the oral transmission of the Word of God, before any written record, and it developed through several contexts in which the Scriptures followed God s people in history, both in the reality of the people of Israel and in the perspective of the Christian church. The work of spreading the Scriptures, held by the Bible Societies in Brazil, was established as the main object of study. It was analyzed how the process of arrival and development of the Bible Societies work in almost two hundred years of activities in the country. In a specific way, it was analyzed the work held by the Brazilian Bible Society (SBB) since its foundation in 1948. This work was analyzed starting from the life cycle of the Bible, a method used by the BBS to make the Bible available, accessible, and relevant in the society and in the church. The study was conducted on the basis of a historical research. Its area of concentration was established in the pastoral systematic theology. Methodologically, the research was made through a bibliographical review, overseen by historians and bible scholars, who are referential in relation to the proposed theme. Researches were also made in official documents provided by the BBS. In the last chapter, besides the historical description, it was used an analysis of content based on the activities developed by the BBS through the life cycle of the Bible. The results showed that the work of spreading the Scriptures, developed by the Bible Society in Brazil, especially the BBS, has contributed in a meaningful way to the church and to the Brazilian society in several social and spiritual aspects.

[pt] Tem surgido, atualmente, uma literatura ateísta que procura rechaçar as religiões monoteístas, especialmente o cristianismo, por considerá-las como obstáculo à afirmação do ser humano e ao seu desenvolvimento. Esta literatura, ao seguir o legado do ateísmo humanista de Feuerbach e dos mestres da suspeita (Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche e Sigmund Freud), pretende ser uma negação sistemática e militante da religião e do Deus Pessoal em nome de um suposto humanismo. Levando em conta esse fenômeno cultural, esta pesquisa doutoral procura estabelecer um diálogo respeitoso entre o cristianismo e o ateísmo. Ela, além de expor a crítica que o pensamento ateu, de ontem como o de hoje, elabora contra a fé cristã, acolhe essa crítica como interpelação ao cristianismo hodierno. Ademais, busca fundamentar, a partir da reflexão teológica de três autores contemporâneos (Andrés Torres Queiruga, Jon Sobrino e Carlos Domínguez Morano), a plausibilidade do cristianismo como afirmação do humano e como possibilidade de humanização dos homens e mulheres cristãos. Chega à conclusão de que a experiência cristã, resguardando fidelidade ao seu núcleo originário (Jesus de Nazaré), se apresenta como uma proposta e um caminho de humanização mais significativo que a proposta de humanismo do ateísmo. / [fr] Nous constatons qu´aujourd´hui apparaît une littérature athée qui cherche à s´opposer aux religions monothéistes, et tout spécialement au christianisme, en voulant démontrer qu´elles sont un obstacle à l´affirmation de l´être humain et à son développement. Cette littérature qui accompagne l´héritage de l´athéisme humaniste de Feuerbach et des maîtres du soupçon (Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche et Sigmund Freud), prétend nier systématiquement et de façon militante la religion et un Dieu Personnel au nom d´un supposé humanisme. Prenant en compte ce phénomène culturel, cette thèse de doctorat cherche à établir un dialogue respectueux entre le christianisme et l´athéisme. Cette recherche, en plus d´exposer la critique que la pensée athée élabore, hier comme aujourd´hui, contre la foi chrétienne, elle accueille cette critique comme une interpellation au christianisme d´aujourd´hui. Elle cherche aussi à fonder, à partir de la réflexion théologique de trois auteurs contemporains (Andrés Torres Queiruga, Jon Sobrino e Carlos Domínguez Morano), la possibilitée pour le christianisme d´être une affirmation de l´humain et la possibilitée d´humanisation des chrétiens, hommes et femmes. Nous en arrivons à la concluson que l´expérience chrétienne, fidèle à son noyau originel (Jesus de Nazaré), se présente comme proposition et chemin d´humanisation bien plus significatif que la proposition humaniste de l´athéisme.

[pt] A missão do Espírito Santo possui aspectos que com o avanço da teologia ganharam maior atenção pelos teólogos e as diversas tradições cristãs. Jurgen Moltmann, entre um grande número de teólogos, desenvolve uma reflexão original e complexa sobre o Espírito Santo, começando em sua famosa Teologia da Esperança e tendo como ápice a produção do livro O Espírito da vida, obra dedicada exclusivamente à reflexão sobre o Espírito Santo. Ele produzirá uma Pneumatologia que será orientada pela sua concepção de Escatologia cristã e pelos textos do bíblicos do Apóstolo Paulo. Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo principal fazer uma abordagem sobre como Jurgen Moltmann apresenta a relação entre o Espírito Santo e a Esperança Cristã, tendo como ponto de partida os acenos teológicos que ele desenvolveu na Teologia da Esperança, seu primeiro livro. Nossa abordagem se dividirá em três diferentes etapas. Em um primeiro momento, iremos nos dedicar a apresentar os principais textos produzidos por teólogos ao refletirem sobre o Espirito Santo. Em seguida, este trabalho vai fazer uma apresentação dos principais aspectos da Pneumatologia moltmanianna através de suas principais obras. O último passo, então, é discorrer sobre como Jurgen Moltmann compreende a relação entre Espírito Santo e a Esperança Cristã. Após a pesquisa, concluímos que nosso autor produz uma Pneumatologia que deve ser lida a partir da Escatologia que ele fomenta em sua Teologia da Esperança. O Espírito Santo é compreendido como o poder vivificante de Deus que faz com que homens e mulheres possam experimentar as promessas do futuro, parcialmente, ainda no presente. Ele garante que elas serão cumpridas e impulsiona a Igreja, que vive na esperança de uma realização plena do que foi prometido, a caminhar dentro da história sinalizando o Reino vindouro por meio de suas ações. / [en] The mission of the Holy Spirit has aspects that with the advancement of theology have gained more attention by theologians and the diverse Christian traditions. Jurgen Moltmann, among a large number of theologians, develops an original and complex reflection on the Holy Spirit, beginning with his famous Theology of Hope and having as its apex the production of the book The Spirit of Life, a work that he dedicates exclusively To reflection on the Holy Spirit. He will produce a Pneumatology that will be guided by his conception of Christian eschatology and by the biblical texts of the Apostle Paul. This research has as main objective to make an approach on how Jurgen Moltmann presents / displays the relation between the Holy Spirit and the Christian Hope taking as starting point the theological nods that it builds in the Theology of the Hope. Our approach will be divided into three different steps. At first, we will devote ourselves to presenting the main texts produced by theologians in reflecting on the Holy Spirit. Then this work will make a presentation of the main aspects of Pneumatologia moltmanianna through his main works. The final step is to discuss how Jurgen Moltmann understands the relationship between the Holy Spirit and Christian Hope. After the research, we conclude that our author produces a Pneumatology that must be read from the Eschatology that he promotes in his Theology of Hope. The Holy Spirit is understood as the life-giving power of God, which enables men and women to experience the promises of the future with God, partially, still in the present. He ensures that they will be fulfilled and propels the Church, which lives in this hope of a full realization of what has been promised, to walk within history by signaling the coming Kingdom through its actions.

[pt] A pergunta acerca das imagens de Deus questiona vários pressupostos da fé e da tradição. A compreensão de Revelação talvez seja a primeira e mais importante. Daí decorre um itinerário que esse trabalho quer abordar apontando algumas consequências para a fé e a vivência dessa fé. Não é mais possível alimentar um discurso fantasioso como justificação ou legitimação de um agir egoísta. Não se nos atermos à transformação necessária na imagem de Deus, que não castiga, interfere ou escolhe apenas alguns. A superação dos limites de um deus externo e interventor gera uma postura nova naquele que crê. Essa pesquisa segue esse caminho, de libertação dos conceitos acerca de Deus apontando como consequências o diálogo, com Deus e com o outro, a autonomia e liberdade do ser humano e a responsabilidade que disso advém em relação ao mundo e à realidade criada. Para tanto este trabalho confronta diversos autores sobre os assuntos tratados, concedendo, contudo à reflexão de Andrés Torres Queiruga um espaço maior. / [en] The question about the images of God challenges several pillars of faith and tradition. Perhaps the undestanding of Revelation is the first and most important one. Considering that, an itinerary arises, and this work intends to follow it, pointing few consequences for the faith and for the experience of this faith. There is no possibility anymore to strenghten a fantastic speech as justification or legitimization for a selfish acting. Not if we focus on the necessary transformation of the God s image, that doesn t punish, doesn t interfere, doesn t select only a few ones. Overcoming the limits of an external and intervenor god generates a new attitude from that one who has faith. This research, follows this path for to release the concepts about God, by pointing as consequences the dialogue with God and with each other, the human autonomy, freedom and the responsabily that comes from that, about the worl and all reality created by God. For that purpose, this dissertation compares and analyses different authors about the subjects matters, granting a large space to reflection of Andrés Torres Queiruga.

[pt] A ecoteologia é um campo bastante recente da reflexão teológica. Nele se encontra a ética ambiental com seus diferentes modelos e tendências que nem sempre são pautados por uma visão integrada da realidade. O ser humano e a natureza não são realidades justapostas e antagônicas, mas são componentes distintos da comunidade biótica que se organiza segundo uma dinâmica relacional e integradora. Superando dualismos e visões reducionistas, uma ética ambiental de inspiração cristã deve integrar compromisso ecológico e justiça social, preservação do ambiente natural e respeito ao ambiente humano. Esta é a abordagem central de nossa dissertação que acentua a necessidade de um modelo de ética que, seguindo uma dinâmica de integração-inclusão, expresse a visão relacional e integradora da fé bíblico-cristã na criação e a sintonia com o novo paradigma ecológico. A nossa pesquisa consiste no estudo do Projeto de Voluntariado Ecológico do Camorim que buscou o desenvolvimento sustentável da região, baseado na identidade cultural local. À luz de pressupostos antropológicos, éticos e teológicos, procuramos identificar nesse Projeto os indicadores de um modelo de ética compatível com a perspectiva relacional e integradora da fé cristã. / [en] Ecotheology is a new field of the theological reflexion. Environmental ethics, whose models and approaches do not always have an integrated vision of reality, belongs to this field. Human beings and Environment are not separated and mutually opposed realities. On the contrary, one cannot be studied apart from the other, for they are distinct parts of the same biotic community that is organized in a relational and integrated dynamical structure. In order to overcome dualisms and reductionist viewpoints, an Environmental Ethic from a Christian perspective must integrate ecological commitment and social justice, that is, preservation of the natural world and respect for the human environment. This is the central approach of our thesis. We stress the urgency of an ethical awareness that, following a dynamics of integration and inclusion, presents a mutually interacting perspective of the biblical and Christian faith on Creation which, at the same time, is in harmony with the new ecological paradigm. Our research studies the Camorim Ecological Volunteers Project which sought a model of sustainable development for the local community, based on its cultural identity. In the light of anthropological, ethical, and theological assumptions, we seek in this Project to identify the elements of an Environmental Ethic based on relational and integrative perspectives of the Christian faith.

[pt] O feminismo, como movimento político e cultural de emancipação e libertação das mulheres, na sua pluralidade de realizações, emerge como lugar de nova inculturação. A experiência salvífica, interpretada na perspectiva cultural do feminismo, provoca mudanças em todas as dimensões da prática e da linguagem da fé. A Teologia Feminista, como uma expressão dessa inculturação, não só critica o passado e o presente da Igreja patriarcal, como também colabora para recuperar hoje os mananciais de vida plena da tradição cristã, influindo para o desenvolvimento de uma nova configuração histórica do cristianismo. Os caminhos bíblicos da Sabedoria, reapropriados numa perspectiva feminista, são marcos teológicos referenciais de uma vida cristã mais integradora, centrada em relações mais igualitárias e recíprocas. Também se tornam fonte de nova linguagem religiosa e teológica. Inspiram o uso de imagens femininas de Deus de forma equivalente, em relação às imagens masculinas, partindo de uma nova visão da experiência humana das mulheres. O novo paradigma lingüístico se torna uma mediação histórica necessária para uma compreensão menos inadequada da presença salvífica de Deus, que suscita e afirma caminhos de plena humanização de mulheres e homens, e de um mundo mais igualitário. No atual contexto de reforço de uma instituição eclesial centrada no clero masculino hierárquico, o processo de inculturação no contexto do feminismo colabora para manter na Igreja uma experiência da fé, que visibilize Cristo entre nós gerando comunidades cristãs e sociedades mais inclusivas. / [en] Feminism as a political and cultural movement of emancipation and women freedom emerges as a place of new inculturation. The salvific experience, when interpreted on cultural perspective, evokes changes in all dimension of faith practice and language. As an expression of this inculturation the feminist theology not only criticizes the past and of the patriarchal church. It also cooperates to recover the source of full life of Christian tradition influencing on the development of a new historical configuration of christianism. The wisdom set forth by the biblical message from a feminist perspective, suggests theological concepts that promote a Christian life that is centered on relationships that are bases on mutual respect and equality. This message becomes a way to communicate religious and theological new language. It inspires feminine images of God that represent the counterpart of the male images of God, but that are based on the experience of the women. This new linguistic paradigm becomes a historic mediation to increase the understanding of God`s salvifc experience that causes and confirms ways of complete humanization of men and women and of a more equalitarian world. In this present religious context where church hierarchy is centered on a male hierarchy, the inculturation process on the feminism context cooperates to expand the experience of faith within the church and generates Christian communities that are including as they present Christ to the world.

[pt] O Deus de Jesus Cristo nos convoca sempre a optar pelas vítimas deste mundo. Nosso trabalho acadêmico concentra-se na esperança das mesmas e na promessa de resgatá-las como chave de leitura hermenêutica teológica. Aspira-se reconhecer que na Teologia de Jon Sobrino existe uma urgente necessidade do zelo teológico centrado no Mistério da presença misericordiosa de Deus na história. Neste sentido, amplia-se o olhar para os novos rostos de vítimas na realidade Latino- Americana e Caribenha que emergem da Globalização. E com a convicção de que fazer teologia a partir de testemunhas enriquece e aprofunda a teologia de textos, o ensejo é registrar e aclamar o rosto humano de Deus nas vítimas, enfocando a ética, a mística e a profecia à luz da teologia de Jon Sobrino. / [en] The God of Jesus Christ calls upon us to opt for the victims of this world. Our essay focuses on the hope of these victims and on the promise of rescuing them as the key of theological hermeneutic reading. We aspire to acknowledge that in Jon Sobrino’s theology there is an urgent need for the theological concern, centered in the Mystery of God’s merciful presence throughout history. With that in mind, attention given to the new victims brought up by globalization in the reality of Latin America and Caribbean must be amplified. Our aim is to register and proclaim the human face of God in the victims, focusing on ethics, mystique and in the prophecy in the light of Jon Sobrino’s theology, with the conviction that making theology from witnesses enriches and deepens the text’s theology.

[pt] Refletir sobre o A Educação Metodista e seus Modelos Pastorais é um tema muito rico e amplo. Pode ser analisado e compreendido por vários olhares. Obviamente o assunto não será esgotado, mas serão destacados os aspectos mais relevantes desta discussão. Desde o início do movimento metodista na Inglaterra, no séc. XVIII, John Wesley, seu principal pioneiro, demonstrava especial atenção à educação, à vida piedosa, bem como às ações humanitárias na tentativa de alcançar e responder as necessidades do ser humano de sua época de forma integral. Sua formação acadêmica foi na conceituada Universidade de Oxford. Dedicava-se à busca do conhecimento associando-o sempre à fé cristã e à prática do amor ao próximo. O resultado da dedicação deste homem se espalhou por toda a parte através da ação missionária do Movimento Metodista onde, entre tantas coisas, fundou milhares de escolas. Nesses mais de 250 anos de educação metodista, somente nos EUA e Inglaterra foram erguidas 1.900 escolas. O ponto principal desta dissertação é a rica oportunidade de refletir sobre os rumos e a relevância da educação metodista no Brasil hoje, através de suas instituições de ensino considerando a trajetória histórica a partir de seu fundador John Wesley. / [en] Reflecting on the The Methodist Education and their Pastoral Models is a very rich and broad topic. It can be analyzed and understood by various looks. Obviously it will not be exhausted but the most relevant aspects of this discussion will be highlighted. Since the beginning of the Methodist movement in England in the century XVIII, John Wesley, its principal pioneer, showed special attention to education, godly life, as well as humanitarian actions in trying to reach and meet the needs of the human being of his time in full. His academic training was at the prestigious Oxford University. He dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge always associating it to the Christian faith and the practice of love of neighbor. The result of the dedication of this man has spread everywhere through the missionary work of the Methodist movement which, among many things, founded thousands of schools. In over 250 years of Methodist education, only in the U.S. and Britain were built 1,900 schools. The main point of this dissertation is the rich opportunity to reflect on the direction and relevance of Methodist education in Brazil today, through its educational institutions considering the historical trajectory from its founder John Wesley.

[pt] Inserida num conjunto de controvérsias a disciplina de Ensino Religioso é usualmente percebida como desnecessária ao sistema educacional brasileiro, passando por uma falta de compreensão e respeito por parte de muitos educadores e da própria sociedade. Vários motivos levam a este posicionamento, dentre eles a falta de uma identidade. A presente tese tem como objetivo propor uma identidade para o Ensino Religioso com base no olhar da Teologia, pautada no conceito cristão de pessoa. A partir dessa perspectiva, para a concretização desse objetivo, realizamos um estudo bibliográfico, como procedimentos metodológicos, para a fundamentação dos conceitos trabalhados, quais sejam: as cinco propostas curriculares existentes e utilizadas pelo sistema educacional brasileiro, as questões relativas ao estado laico, à liberdade religiosa, à relação entre religião e secularização e o conceito de pessoa para algumas Ciências e para o Cristianismo, bem como alguns conceitos relacionados à área pedagógica: educação, aluno, professor, currículo e metodologia. Os mesmos culminam em uma identidade e uma sugestão de proposta curricular para o Ensino Religioso condizente com o que a fé cristã entende por pessoa e a visão pedagógica e desafiadora da educação libertadora apresentada, que propõe uma práxis educativa dialógica, que leva em consideração àquele que é o cerne de todo processo ensino-aprendizagem: o aluno. Por fim, o trabalho busca apontar que o Ensino Religioso é um direito desse aluno, enquanto ser humano integral. Nesse sentido, o Ensino Religioso, enquanto confessional, plural e relacional pode ser uma contribuição inconteste para a Educação. / [en] Inserted in a series of controversies, Religious Education discipline is usually perceived as unnecessary to the Brazilian educational system, going through a lack of understanding and respect by many educators and society itself. Several reasons lead to this positioning, among them, the lack of identity. This thesis aims to propose an identity for Religious Education under the look of theology based on the Christian concept of person. From this perspective, to concretize this objective, we performed a bibliographic study, with methodological procedures, to substantiate the worked concepts, which are: the five existing curriculum proposals used by the Brazilian educational system, issues concerning the secular state, religious freedom, relation between religion and secularization and the concept of person for some of the Science fields and for Christianity, as well as some concepts related to the pedagogic area: education, student, teacher, curriculum and methodology. Thus, they culminate in an identity and a curriculum proposal suggestion for the Religious Education befitting with what the Christian faith meant by person and the pedagogic and challenging vision of the presented liberating education, in which proposes a dialogic educational praxis, which takes into account the one who is the core of all teaching-learning process: the student. Lastly, this work seeks to indicate that Religious Education is that student s right, while an integral human being. Therefore, Religious Education, whereas confessional, plural and relational can be an undisputable contribution to Education.
