The present work has been developed within the group of studies and research about Imaginary, Education and Memory (GEPIEM). It is situated in the Research Line Written Culture, Languages and Learning of Post-Graduate Program of the Federal University of Pelotas, and approaches the issue of institutionalization of children in Brazil, under the perspective of women who were in “Felisbina Leivas’ Asylum”, located in Jaguarão/RS. The research discusses the life history of the children’s egresses of institution, based on studies by JOSSO and the ‘Imaginary’, from the perspective of MACHADO DA SILVA. The objective of this work is to reconstruct, by imagination, narratives of women that spend parts of their childhood or youth in that religion asylum institution. The research seeks analyze and understand linked marks from the time that they have been stayed in the Home, taking as corpus analysis of their life histories. The biographical narratives were used as the main methodological tool to understand how the founding images, from the imagination, drive/influence living thing (a person who lives at the present time) of these women, besides to show the educational processes. The route methodological occurred in three instances: the first was operationalized by visits in the orphanage, with egresses, where have been recorded, photographic or not, images from a trigger question: 'Register images that marked you positively or negatively'. In the second, I change their biographical narratives in stories, what I call 'make history' (textualization). After transcription and textualization of narratives, I began a process of transcreation, with which I tried to bring the reader to the world of sensations caused by contact with the protagonists of the research. The third, and last, occurred so that verifies and checks two focuses: foundational images and educational practices. The empirical study showed that learning and incorporation of the rules was done by the interaction; work for maintenance and cleaning of the Home was part of the routine of girls; the school was present in their daily lives and is strongly valued; cope deal with the family’s absence is also need. The founding pictures identified in the three narratives are strongly associated with the role and image of mother, and the overvaluation of the presence of this figure, the perception of abandonment or the recognition of the importance to devote love to their sons and daughters. The fundamental appointed the empirical research, was that even with all the reverses of negative experiences at Home, this was established as a place of protection, which provided security for whom there had guarded his life.

Kairós: o momento da partida na história de vida de mulheres olímpicas brasileiras / Kairos: the moment of departure in the life story of brazilian olympic women

Amato, Júlia Frias 02 March 2018 (has links)
In Brazil, many children have the opportunity to learn about different sports. This contact often awakens an attraction for it practice and it\'s given a great importance that makes them choose sport over others activities common to other people of the same age, such as child\'s plays, family and school contact. "Le privé est politique !" : sociologie des mémoires féministes en France / “The personal is political !” : sociology of feminist memories in France

Charpenel, Marion 09 October 2014 (has links)
This thesis investigates the ways feminist activists evoke the past in present-day France. Drawing on Halbwach’s sociology of memory and on collective action theory, this work aims to shed light on how shared visions of the past can arise from a social movement as open and plural as the feminist one. Based on biographical and projective interviews, on ethnographic fieldwork and on written archives, this thesis endeavours to demonstrate that there are three main conditions that allow for the existence of a feminist collective memory. First, owing to a consensus within this space about the need to make women more visible in history, a feminist “duty to remember” gives political reasons for the activists to regularly enact the past through collective action. Second, at a meso level, feminist groups may agree on certain representations of the past depending on current political debates and on internal power relationships. However, these convergences are so context-sensitive that it prevents them from constructing a feminist “official history”. Finally, at a micro level, the personal stories of each militant are expressed in comparable accounts and narrative forms. It is the statement "the personal is political" that allows for a common interpretation of the past, hinging on the assertion of oneself as an autonomous subject. Indeed, since the 1970s, feminist movements have developed collective practices that have encouraged activists to regularly tell their biographical story within feminist “spaces of the speakable”. The thesis demonstrates that it is this process of mutual framing of biographical accounts that leads to the homogenization of the activists’ memories.

Globos namuose gyvenančių paauglių tapatumo išgyvenimas: biografinio pasakojimo interpretacinė analizė / Adolescents who live in foster care institutions identity experience: biographical narrative interpretative analysis

Zbarauskaitė, Asta 04 February 2010 (has links)
Nowadays identity is defined as rooted in emotion, emerging in relationship and developing as dynamic, self-organizing system. And identity formation is a intrapsychic changes during adolescence: separation individuation process, experience integration and establishment of ego continuity. It is necessary to use new methods for identity evaluation in order to understand it’s development in relational context. Qualitative research: biographical narrative interpretative analysis, was made to understand identity formation in adolescence who live in foster care. Method: six, 15-16 years old teenagers (3 girls, 3 boys) participated in research. Biographical narrative interpretative method was used to collect and interpret data, additional methods: document analysis and traumatic events questionnaire. Results: data analysis revealed three types of identity experience: identity experience based on inner conflict: fight as way to survive; identity experience based on idealization and devaluation: fantasy– the way which helps to deal with reality and identity experience based on fragmentation: isolated subjectivity. It is hypothesized that different types of told life stories are connected with different dynamic of identity experience in adolescence. It is confirmed importance of close and long lasting relationship in a process of coping with traumatic experience.

Poland: The Historical Underdog and Contemporary Protector of Ukraine : A Narrative Analysis on Ontological Security and Crisis in the Case of Poland

Gråby, Isabel January 2023 (has links)
In recent years, more research has been conducted to explain state behavior in relation to crises. Poland has taken a conservative turn since 2015, distancing itself from mainstream European strategies. This is explained by self-identity needs stemming from historical experiences and envisioned futures. The escalation of the war in Ukraine at the beginning of 2022 has impacted Polish ontological security, aligning Polish political goals with those of the European Union and Ukraine, while also confirming negative perceptions of Russia as an imperialist power. By conducting a case study on Poland using narrative analysis, three biographical narratives are identified. The war in Ukraine has deepened stories of Polish heroism, victimhood, and Poland as a progressive force or leader, implying that crisis does impact ontological security in this case. The theory of ontological security can therefore be argued to highlight mechanisms that traditional security perspectives overlook, providing a more complete picture of what shapes and motivates self-identity needs and state action.

O acontecimento comunicacional e a experiência de ensino. Afeto. Arrebatamento. Subjetividades / The communicational event and the teaching experience. Affection. Ravishment. Subjectivities

Teixeira, Ana Paula de Moraes 27 May 2013 (has links)
Porém, a tessitura desta proposta é trama emaranhada. / This is an epistemological study on the communication concept, which makes use of philosophical orientations as a technical contribution. However, the fabric of this proposal is a tangled web. It is a tissue which dampens itself in the liquid of subjectivity. In conventional studies on communication, the being\'s ontological status has never had much space. One would prefer to study the \"carvings\" in communication, such as reception, mediation, processes, or media. This is the starting point of our work: engaging a communication research which \"happens\" in the being self - the communicational event. And as the notion of event developed on this thesis differs from the conception as it is understood by common sense or even by the media, this kind of study requires a different work procedure. This procedure is the Metaporo: a practical-descriptive proposal which demands a modified scientific attitude, as it takes into account affectations on the being (of the event), and, in this study, along with affectations of the being (of the research). Therefore, the researcher\'s look counts. Not in a way to subtract from the observation what is interesting, but to compose with it. But, as it is necessary to take into account the incomprehensive aspect of the event, the Metaporo wagers on its description. \"To experience something within its own body and from it extract descriptions, reports, expositions, texts, to transform what has been experienced into statements, into life experience testimonies\". And as the ground of our observation lies on teaching experiences, and because teaching experience is the being\'s resilience, our proposal, in addition to the epistemological discussion, includes autobiographical reports. Narratives that may enable a contiguity of fruition. An elastic web tissue whose first intention is to allow access to the thinking vibrations by the porosity of the text.

This research is linked to the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Mato Grosso - Campus Rondonópolis and was accomplished with the support of the Centre for Education Programme (Programa Observatório da Educação/OBEDUC). In the last decades, have grown the discussions on field education with respect to the claims of better living conditions, education, livelihood and access to the cultural goods of the Brazilian peasant population. This research aimed to investigate the policies that were centered on teachers training from and to the field as well as their performance in this life type. Close to the training, there are the teacher’s practices that are evidenced as productive, in the processes of teaching and learning in this life atmosphere of educational work. Included in the survey experienced teachers and novice teachers graduates who work in the country school, in order to better observe how are assisted in their work by the policies and training for rural education. The subject that mobilized this research is: how beginning teachers who work or have worked in schools in the country analyze education policies a and teaching career and its impact on their daily practice. To develop research, we have appropriated the qualitative approach to the (self) biographical method, adopting the narratives as instruments for data collection. The research was developed in two public schools in the State of Mato Grosso with three subjects. The results showed that existing policies after LDB 9394/96 have turned to the country, although they do not perform yet into affirmative action policies in the analysis of the subjects and teachers who work in this space.
