This diploma thesis focuses on improving reading literacy in preschool children in cooperation between family and kindergarten. The theoretical part is devoted to the concept of a preschool child, taking into account his psychological development, the cooperation of the kindergarten with the family, family itself, reading literacy and methods of its development. Through action research, the practical part focuses on mapping parents' work with children at home using intervention activities to improve parents' understanding of book working methods and the use of reading strategies that help building a positive relationship with books and improve text comprehension, and then evaluate the impact of these activities on parents and their effort to stimulate reading in children. The proposed lessons devoted to the development of reading literacy were implemented with children in the presence of their parents and the aim was to show the possibilities of working with a book through specific activities that will help building interest in books and comprehension of the read text. Due to the implementation of five lessons, progress has been made, which can be recognized from the reflective questionnaires that were completed before and after the lessons. [pt] Esta tese examina as vinculações entre as dinâmicas do consumo e o movimen-to feminista, elegendo como objeto central de análise as alianças e tensões construí-das entre o consumo de bicicletas e a luta pelo sufrágio feminino – articulação que se deu principalmente nos EUA, durante a segunda metade do século XIX e início do século XX, período que compreende a Primeira Onda do movimento feminista. Enfa-tiza-se o entendimento do consumo moderno-contemporâneo como um fenômeno social e simbólico que será tratado, nesse texto, com aportes teóricos das Ciências Sociais. Na construção da tese pretende-se analisar as razões históricas que motiva-ram as mulheres a clamarem seus direitos civis e de que modo essas reivindicações puderam ser impulsionadas pela via do consumo – apresentando, como reforço de argumentação, alguns outros episódios profícuos dessa parceria. Nessa pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico e documental, serão investigadas, com distanciamento histórico, as mutações nas dinâmicas sociais estabelecidas pela participação efetiva das mulhe-res na cultura do consumo – mudanças traduzidas em maior participação na esfera pública, transformações no vestuário, no comportamento sexual, no acesso à ativida-de acadêmica e, em última instância, na conquista do direito ao voto. Parte-se da premissa de que o consumo, enquanto elemento central na cultura moderno-contemporânea, deve ser estudado não apenas pelo viés econômico, mas também como um importante código social, a fim de que, ao demonstrar suas lógicas, estrutu-ras e significados, torne-se possível compreender os valores, ideologias e modos que orientam as relações humanas. Em um exercício de aproximação entre a atuação polí-tica de mulheres e as suas práticas de consumo, esta tese busca destacar que o estudo das sensibilidades ligadas à temática do consumo pode desnudar ideias e estruturas fundamentais que corroboraram para a construção de um novo paradigma da cidada-nia feminina no século XX. / [en] This thesis examines the connections between the dynamics of consumption and the feminist movement, choosing as the central object of analysis the alliances and tensions built between the consumption of bicycles and the struggle for women s suffrage – an articulation that occurred mainly in the USA during the second half from the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century, a period that embraces the First Wave of the feminist movement. It is emphasized the understanding of modern-contemporary consumption as a social and symbolic phenomenon that will be treated, in these words, with theoretical contributions from the Social Sciences. In the construction of this thesis we intend to analyze the historical reasons that motivated women to claim their civil rights and how these claims could be driven by the consumption route – presenting, as a reinforcement of argumentation, some other fruitful episodes of this partnership. In this bibliographical and documentary research, the mutations in the social dynamics established by the effective participation of women in the culture of consumption will be investigated with historical distancing – looking for the changes that allowed a greater women’s participation in the public sphere, the transformations in fashion, in the sexual behavior, the academic access activity and, ultimately, the right to vote. It is assumed that consumption, as a central element in modern-contemporary culture, should be studied not only by economic bias, but also as an important social code, so that by demonstrating their logical, structures and meanings, become possible to understand the values, ideologies and ways that guide human relationships. This thesis aims to emphasize that the study of the sensitivities related to the consumption theme can expose fundamental ideas and structures that corroborated the construction of a new paradigm of female citizenship in the twentieth century.

As tecnologias de informação e comunicação têm sido as molas propulsoras do atual processo de globalização, promovendo a difusão da informação, bem como a instantaneidade dos eventos em múltiplos lugares, conectando-os, reduzindo o tempo dos fluxos de comunicação, informação e serviços, através de seu caráter ubíquo. Deste modo, existem os territórios, mas as distâncias que os separam são ignoradas, podendo ser transponíveis em lapsos de tempo, a telemática proporciona desta feita uma conexão vertical entre eles. A presente pesquisa, portanto, faz uma abordagem sobre o uso e disseminação das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TICs) através da Educação a Distância (EaD), implantada no Estado do Amazonas em 2007, direcionada principalmente ao alunos do ensino médio. Propõe-se elucidar os motivos pelos quais o governo do Estado tem fomentado esta modalidade de ensino, e sua dinâmica no território, ao conectar verticalmente os espaços geográficos nele contidos. E seus efeitos culturais, ao fazer a interligação de estudantes, que moram em localidades isoladas no interior do Amazonas, com o mundo, através da internet. Através deste estudo foi possível também confrontar a infraestrutura de transportes e comunicação existentes nos núcleos urbanos e zonas rurais com as TICs instaladas a partir do advento da EaD, constituindo-se em novos conteúdos a estes lugares. Como também suas relações com lugares de elevadas densidades tecnológicas de comunicação, os quais já podem ser considerados de meios-técnico-científicos-informacionais. Bem como, analisar criticamente o processo de democratização da educação, por meio deste sistema educacional, aos alunos que até então não tinham acesso ao ensino médio. / Information technology and communication have been the drivers of the globalization process, promoting dissemination of information, as well as the immediacy of events in multiple locations, connecting them, reducing the time flow of communication, information and services through of its ubiquitous character. Thus, there are territories, but the distances that separate them are ignored and can be transposed in time-lapse, this time telematics provides a vertical connection between them. This research therefore makes an approach on the use and dissemination of information and communication technologies (ICTs) through Distance Education (DE), introduced in the State of Amazonas in 2007, targeted primarily to high school students. It is proposed to elucidate the reasons why the state government has encouraged this type of teaching, and their dynamics in the territory by connecting them vertically geographic areas therein. And its cultural effects, to make the interconnection of students who live in isolated locations within the Amazon, with the world through the internet. Through this study it was possible also to confront the transport and communication infrastructure in existing urban and rural areas with ICT installed from the advent of distance learning, providing new content on these sites. As well as its relations with places of high densities of communication technology, which can already be considered a technical-scientific-media-informational. As well, critically analyze the process of democratization of education, through this educational system, students who previously had no access to secondary education.

A atuação interprofissional em saúde tem-se constituído em um elemento importante para produção das ações de saúde, frente à complexidade do processo saúde-doença. Um desafio do trabalho em saúde é o de buscar o comprometimento dos trabalhadores, na perspectiva de produzir cuidado integral. Diante do contexto atual, em que as experiências do cuidado sob o eixo da integralidade para os doentes em situações clínicas críticas ainda são incipientes, esta investigação estabelece como objeto de estudo a atuação interprofissional no atendimento das necessidades de saúde dos doentes em situações clínicas e cirúrgicas críticas. Assim, o presente estudo elege por objetivo geral: produzir análise crítica, segundo Habermas, da atuação interprofissional no contexto da terapia intensiva na perspectiva da integralidade do cuidado em saúde. Para tanto, passamos por momentos de compreender a atuação dos profissionais que compõem a equipe de saúde; de interpretar as possibilidades e dificuldades da interação entre os diferentes profissionais de saúde e, de compreender as potencialidades e fragilidades da articulação interprofissional. Escolhemos as situações de admissão, alta, visita clínica aos doentes internados na terapia intensiva como eventos potenciais para apreensão da prática interprofissional. O presente estudo insere-se na abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa e consiste, ainda, em estudo descritivo elegendo o estudo de caso como modalidade de investigação. A Unidade de Terapia Intensiva do Hospital de Clínicas I de Marília foi escolhida como campo empírico. Os sujeitos da pesquisa são médicos, enfermeiros, fisioterapeutas e nutricionistas que atuaram nos eventos observados. A captação do material empírico consistiu em observação do cenário e entrevistas semi-estruturadas juntos aos trabalhadores de saúde. Para tratamento do material empírico utilizamos a técnica de interpretação de sentidos. A análise permitiu identificar dois eixos temáticos: o cuidado em saúde centrado nas necessidades individuais e a relação com a atuação profissional, atribuindo a atuação profissional o sentido biomédico, fragmentado do cuidado e centrado na tarefa; as possibilidades na transformação do cuidado em saúde na perspectiva da integralidade do cuidado e do agir comunicativo evidenciam que a ação instrumental está relacionada à interação multiprofissional enquanto a ação comunicativa se associa à interprofissionalidade. Finalizamos esse estudo com uma reflexão sobre a prática do enfermeiro, a qual evidencia a importância da articulação de ações de saúde quanto à integridade da pele do doente acamado. / The health inter-professional performance has been an important element for the production of health actions, face to the complex health-disease process. A challenge on the health work is to seek the workers commitment, on the perspective to produce an integral care. On the present context, where the care experiences under the integrality axle for the patients in critical clinical situations are still incipient, this investigation sets as the study subject the inter-professional action on the attendance of the patients health care needs in critical clinical or surgical situations. Thus, this study has as general objective: to produce, according to Habermas, critical analysis of the inter-professional performance on the intensive therapy context on the perspective of the health cares integrality. For this, we have gone through moments to comprehend the performance of the professionals that make part of the health team; to interpret the possibilities and difficulties to interact between the different health professionals, and to comprehend the potentialities and weaknesses of the inter-professional articulation. We have chosen the situations of admission, discharge, and clinical visit to the patients on the Intensive Care Unit as potential events for apprehension of the inter-professional practice. This study is inserted on the qualitative research approach and consists of a descriptive study, electing the case study as the investigation modality. The Intensive Care Unit in the Hospital das Clínicas I in Marilia has been chosen as empiric field. The research subjects are physicians, nurses, physiotherapists and nutritionists that have acted as observed events. The empiric material caption has been observation of the scenery and semi-structured interviews to the health professionals. For treatment of the empirical material, we have used the sense interpretations technique. The analysis has allowed us to identify two thematic axles: the health care directed to the individual needs and the relation to the professional performance, giving the biomedical point of view, fragmented on the care and focused on the task; the possibilities on the transformation of the health care under the perspective of the care integrality and the communicative act show that the instrumental action is related to the multi-professional interaction while the communicative action is related to the inter-professionality. We have finished this study by reflecting on the nurse practice, which shows the importance of the articulation of health actions regarding the skin integrality of the patient on bed.

A Dissertação de Mestrado Pinturas de paisagem amazônica e a construção de um imaginário da cultura popular trata de documentar e analisar as pinturas populares que representam a floresta amazônica, produzidas nos séculos xx e xxi, utilizadas na comunicação visual e na decoração dos interiores e das fachadas de estabelecimentos comerciais e residenciais, localizados no centro de Manaus, capital do Amazonas. É possível encontrar diversos significados nessas pinturas, que se destacam em meio à poluição visual e à agitação da cidade. Evocando reiteradamente o repertório imagético da Amazônia, misturam a mitologia local com ícones universais das cidades contemporâneas, além de incorporarem elementos da estética brega que impera na região Norte do país. As pinturas de paisagem amazônica - termo utilizado pelos próprios pintores para descrever seu ofício - provocam reflexões sobre a produção atual das artes gráficas populares brasileiras e, mais especificamente, sobre como essa expressão pictórica sobrevive e prolifera em Manaus. / The Masters thesis Amazonic landscape paintings and the construction of an imaginary popular culture, is an attempt to document and analize everyday paintings that represent the Amazon Forest and were produced in the 20th and 21st centuries for visual communication and decoration of interiors and façades of commercial and residential buildings, located in downtown Manaus, capital of Amazonas State, Brazil. It is possible to find various meanings in these paintings that shine amidst the visual polution and chaos of the city. Repeatedly evoking the repertoire of Amazonian imagery, they fuse local mythology with universal icons common to modern cities and tacky elements of the regional esthetic that dominates Northern Brazil. The amazonian landscape paintings - a term used by the painters themselves to describe their trade, how provoke us to reflect on the current production of popular graphic art in Brazil and more specifically, over how this form of pictorial expression survives and proliferates in Manaus.

Inspirado em observações da práxis Arteducativa e Educomunicativa, este trabalho identifica e analisa as inter-relações teóricas da Arte/Educação, no paradigma da Abordagem Triangular do Ensino das Artes e Culturas Visuais, e a Comunicação/Educação, no paradigma da Educomunicação, com o objetivo de refletir sobre os pontos que tem em comum para apontar as possíveis contribuições que a Abordagem Triangular do Ensino das Artes e Culturas Visuais pode fazer para o aprofundamento conceitual do campo da Educomunicação. São apresentadas as estruturas/sistemas das áreas de conhecimento híbridas da Arte/Educação e Comunicação/Educação dentro de um olhar transdisciplinar e suas diferentes vertentes relacionadas aos contextos, para referência comparativa na fundamentação das características da Abordagem Triangular e da Educomunicação. This study exposes the structures/systems in hybrid knowledge areas of Art/Education as well as Communication/Education through a transdisciplinary view and their various contextualized dimensions, for comparative reference purposes, based on the grounds of the characteristics of the Triangular Approach and Educommunication. Finally, indicates the three combined actions Read-Do-Contextualize, the foundations of Triangular Teaching Approach of Arts and Visual Cultures, as a guiding process for the praxis and epistemology of Educommunication development.

Esta dissertação documenta e analisa a produção em histórias em quadrinhos, charges e cartuns de Maurício de Sousa na Folhinha de São Paulo, de setembro de 1963 a maio de 1970. A análise do conteúdo dessas produções revelou existir um discurso moralista e conservador voltado para os educadores e as crianças. No primeiro capítulo são descritos os traços narrativos e de conteúdo mais marcantes da produção em histórias em quadrinhos no decorrer de sua história. Em seguida, no segundo capítulo, um panorama geral dos editores e profissionais desse ofício no Brasil, chegando até a publicação da Folhinha de São Paulo. No terceiro capítulo são apresentadas as propostas legislativas para regulação das histórias em quadrinhos e como elas refletem uma moral que acompanha os tempos de sua produção. Finalmente no quarto capítulo temos a análise da produção de Maurício de Sousa. Nessas condições, onde a saúde encontra-se posicionada entre diversos outros sistemas, como o Econômico e o Político, uma observação transdisciplinar é obrigatória, mormente quando pretende-se apurar se o Poder Judiciário, organização central do Sistema do Direito, tem condições de deferir pedidos de medicamentos experimentais ajuizados contra do Estado, observando estritamente seu código funcional e programação, sem com isso causar a corrupção do Sistema ou problemas autopoiéticos. Para isso, elementos como complexidade, risco e contingência devem ser trabalhados, pois estão sempre presentes na tomada de decisão, e em questões envolvendo a saúde são de relevância ímpar, uma vez que há um excesso de possibilidades de decisões e os riscos e perigos poderão levar um doente a morte, de acordo com a decisão proferida ou de acordo com a forma como ela será operacionalizada. Nessa perspectiva, pode observar-se que emergiu um paradoxo deste processo decisional, o qual nem Direito, nem Saúde e nem Sistema Político descobriram uma nova forma de observação para superá-lo. De modo que, havendo um paradoxo e uma necessidade de superação ainda não atingida, é preciso uma observação de segunda ordem das decisões que estão sendo prolatadas, para que se visualize os sentidos comunicacionais que elas vem produzindo e como argumentos advindos de outros sistemas tem sido internalizados para fundamentar estas mesmas decisões. Nessa linha, o trabalho será desenvolvido com base na Teoria dos Sistemas de Niklas Luhmann e da Teoria da Autopiese de Humberto Maturana e Francisco Varela, por possibilitar uma forma diferenciada e completa de observação da sociedade e das novas improbabilidades comunicacionais. / This research supports that Law and Health are both autopoietic Social Systems and, therefore, its decisions must be limited by its code/programming. On these terms, as health is situated between several other systems, as Economy and Politics, a transdisciplinar observation is mandatory, specially when it is intended to verify if Judiciary, Law Systems central organization, is able to grant experimental medicines appeals in disadvantage on State, observing strictly its funcional code and programming, but not causing any corruption of the System nor autopoietic problems. For this, elements like complexity, risk and contingency must be developed, because they must be considered in order to decide, and on issues involving health they are highly relevant, since there is an excess of possibilities of decisions and the risks and dangers could cause death to a patient, according to the decision made or according to the way it will be operationalized. From this perspective, it is possible to observe that a paradox has emerged from this decisional process, that neither Law, nor Health and nor Political System found out a new way of observation, in order to overcome it. So, as there is a paradox and the necessity of overcoming still not reached, it is needed a second-order observation about the decisions made, what will allow to visualize the comunicational meanings they has produced and how arguments originated from other systems have been internalized in order to serve as groundwork for these same decisions. On this path, this work will be developed based on Niklas Luhmanns Theory of Systems and Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varelas Theory of Autopoiesis, as these theories make possible an observation of the society and of the new comunicational improbabilities in a more proper and complete way.

Since the beginning of BBS (Bulletin Board System), around 1978, people connects to internet to communicate, talk about curiosities and fait divers, create, are listened and feel part of a community, in a democratic platform. This study aims at analyzing the communicational nature of Twitter, approaching the relationships that can be found in messages exchanges between its members. This study is organized in three parts. The first one beggins with the definition of microspace, recovering primitive ways of communication, limited by the environment, evoluting to the first mass communication invention, the telegraph. Then, this study introduces the definition of microspace related to cyberspace s concepts proposed by Lévy and approaches the individual interest on herding, as Maffesoli said. The second part is about the poetics of cyberspace, redeeming the definition of microspace, now in other media, such as the haikais (Campos). The study sails in the cyberspace, through media culture (Santaella), net s labyrinth (Leão), translations (Plaza) and it docks in social nets (Rheingold), focusing on Twitter. Throughout the collection of material, this study exposes the communication s nature and objective found in microspace. At last, the third part presents the characteristics of net communication (Flusser and Shannon), the process of knowledge and learning generated by this kind of communication (Piaget e Freire) and it proposes a discussion on broad and restrict knowledge (Morin). The conclusions of this study may contribute to the identification of the critical thought spread through the net, exposing how this thought sails in the cyberspace and is translated in new ideas and senses / O fenômeno das redes sociais não é algo novo. Desde os primórdios da BBS (Bulletin Board System), por volta de 1978, as pessoas conectam-se à rede, para se comunicar e expor ideias, tratar de fatos e curiosidades do cotidiano, criar, fazer-se ouvir e sentir-se parte de uma comunidade, em uma plataforma democrática. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a natureza comunicacional do Twitter, abordando as relações existentes nas trocas de mensagens entre seus usuários. A pesquisa organiza-se em três partes. A primeira trata da definição de microespaço, resgatando formas primitivas de comunicação, limitadas pelo meio, chegando então ao primeiro invento de comunicação de massa, o telégrafo. Em seguida, apresenta-se o conceito de microespaço em relação ao de ciberespaço proposto por Lévy e reflete-se sobre o indivíduo e o seu interesse em se agrupar, conforme proposição de Maffesoli. A segunda parte deste estudo discute as poéticas do ciberespaço, retomando a definição de microespaço, agora em outros meios de comunicação, como, por exemplo, os haikais (Campos).
