Formação de professores em serviço : contradições na prática pedagógica

A presente pesquisa, um estudo de caso de natureza qualitativa e dialética, teve como objetivo geral conhecer, interpretar, explicar e compreender as contradições existentes no processo de formação de professores leigos realizado pela FURG em SVP e como essas contradições se apresentam na prática pedagógica das alunas-professoras leigas; e sob a luz dos resultados da pesquisa poder apontar algumas sugestões de saberes que sejam capazes de contribuir na elaboração de novas propostas pedagógica para a formação de professores em serviço, na construção de seus currículos, podendo oferecer condições adequadas de produzir conhecimentos incontestáveis às alunas-professoras leigas – transformando radicalmente a realidade em que vivem e concomitantemente poder mudar suas vidas. O estudo foi realizado tendo como corpus empírico os Trabalhos de Conclusão de Curso das quarenta e sete professoras leigas que concluíram o Curso de Pedagogia – Anos Iniciais. A tese principal, de que há contradição no processo de formação dos professores leigos estudado, foi confirmada pelas dificuldades e impedimentos que as alunas-professoras leigas descreveram em seus relatos críticos (TCC) para desenvolveram uma prática pedagógica coerente com a perspectiva emancipadora das teorias trabalhadas no curso. Sugere-se para a organização, sistematização e execução de outros cursos semelhantes, aproximarem o máximo possível a teoria da prática, tanto nas questões pedagógicas do ensinar e do aprender, como principalmente na “ação-reflexão-ação” do cotidiano da universidade/escola, de modo que ambas venham a se constituir em uma unidade. A pesquisa, para a formação de um professor pesquisador, mesmo que em serviço, assume um dos pilares práticos da produção de saberes críticos para a transformação radical da sociedade e da educação vigente, pois os conhecimentos produzidos nessa prática são verdadeiros se forem verificados na prática, na produção, no experimento, na revolução social. / The current research, which was based on a dialectic and qualitative study, had a general aim of perceiving, interpreting, explaining and understanding the existing contradictions in the process of majoring laic teachers carried by FURG in SVP. It also aimed to show how those contradictions appear during the educational practice of the laic teachersto- be. According to the results of the research, some suggestions of knowledge can be pointed out, which might contribute to the issuance of new educational proposals to the formation of teachers that are working and also on the building up of their curriculum. It can also provide proper conditions to bring unquestionable knowledge to the laic teachers-to-be – therefore changing the reality which they live in and being able to concomitantly change their lives. The study was carried out having as empirical corpus the End of Course Papers of the forty seven laic teachers which majored in Education – Elementary School. The main thesis, i.e., that there is a contradiction in the process of majoring laic teachers, was confirmed by the difficulties and obstacles described in the critic reports (End of Course Papers) by the laic teachers-to-be, in order to develop an educational practice coherent to the emancipating perspective of the theories studied during the course. It is suggested the organization, the systematization and the devising of other similar courses, in order to approach as close as possible, theory to practice. This proximity of theory and practice should be held on educational matters of teaching and learning as well as mainly on the “action-reflectionaction” of the daily routine in the university/school, so that both become one unit. For the formation of a researching teacher, even when working, the research assumes one of the practical foundations to the production of critic knowledge to a radical change in society and current educational system, once the knowledge acquired in that practice is true if it is checked in practice, in production, in experiment, in the social revolution.

To comply with the proposed, we make a brief foray into the history of PHC in the State of Paraná, understanding that education is immersed and reflects social contradictions. We sought to analyze the documents issued by the Municipal Department of Education of Cascavel, in order to verify the movement and participation of the teachers of this teaching network in the production of the Curriculum. We present the Curriculum, its characteristics and specificities and analyze its fidelity and contradictions with the assumed perspective. We have also brought the municipal legislations that cite and determine that the work to be carried out in the municipal public school of Cascavel should be in line with the Cascavel Curriculum, with the career plan, the Municipal Education System law and the Municipal Plan of Education. We conclude, by means of documentar and biblical analysis, that in order to implement a Curriculum in the perspective of PHC, it is necessary to understand the method that supports this pedagogical theory, in this case, historical-dialectical materialism and from that interpret reality and its movement in the totality of relations. / O objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi historicizar o processo de produção do Currículo para Rede Pública Municipal de Ensino de Cascavel/Paraná no período de 2005 a 2008 e de sua implantação de 2008 a 2015, e verificar em que medida esse documento está alicerçado no aporte que anuncia, ou seja, na Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica (PHC). Para cumprir com o proposto, realizarmos uma breve incursão pela história da Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica no Estado do Paraná, compreendendo que a educação está imersa e reflete as contradições sociais. Buscamos analisar os documentos emitidos pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Cascavel, a fim de verificar o movimento e participação dos professores dessa rede de ensino na produção do Currículo. Apresentamos o Currículo, suas características e especificidades e analisamos sua fidelidade e contradições com a perspectiva assumida. Trouxemos também as legislações municipais que citam e determinam que o trabalho a ser realizado na rede pública municipal de ensino de Cascavel deve estar em consonância com o Currículo de Cascavel, com o plano de carreira, a lei do Sistema Municipal de Ensino e o Plano Municipal de Educação. Concluímos, por meio de análise documental e bibliográfica que para se efetivar um Currículo na perspectiva da Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica, é necessário compreender o método que dá suporte a esta teoria pedagógica, no caso, o materialismo histórico-dialético e a partir desse interpretar a realidade e seu movimento na totalidade das relações.

As possibilidades de reflexão na indústria cultural / The possibilities of reflection in the cultural industry

Este trabalho parte da seguinte pergunta: É possível reflexão na indústria cultural? Hoje, a amplitude da utilização deste conceito atingiu proporções que, concentrando-se de um lado naqueles que nele veem um sentido mais positivista, como um sistema que seria integrador, e, em contrapartida, naqueles que, considerados pessimistas, concebem o sistema totalitário da indústria cultural como sinônimo do final dos tempos, mais se afundam nos dualismos que impedem a reflexão, acabando por ignorar quaisquer possibilidades de ambiguidades na sociedade e no próprio sistema. Na contramão disto e a fim de responder tal questão, este trabalho objetiva apresentar e discutir as contradições do conceito de indústria cultural, por meio dos textos dos autores frankfurtianos que o criaram, especialmente Theodor W. Adorno e Max Horkheimer, de modo a desmistificar e diminuir as distâncias dos abismos dualistas a que os estudos sobre este sistema têm sido tratados. Norteada pelos princípios da Teoria Crítica da Sociedade, esta pesquisa espera mostrar que, ao contrário do que comumente é compreendido a respeito do estudo desse conceito, este também possui as suas contradições, não podendo ser reduzido a definições que se estabelecem em blocos opostos. Se, por um lado, pode ser verdadeira a consideração da indústria cultural como apocalíptica, em virtude de seu caráter totalitário e como mediação primordial para a manutenção da ordem injusta e reificação dos indivíduos, também por outro, não menos o é a concepção de que ela carrega em si mesma os antídotos dessa totalidade na medida em que justamente os nega. Fruto da dialética do esclarecimento, a indústria cultural, como a expressão da barbárie e enquanto espírito objetivo relembraria a natureza de dominação presente na contradição desse mesmo espírito e por isso, também a verdadeira humanidade pendente inerente a essa mesma dialética, apresentando ainda resistências, tanto entre si mesma e a realidade, expressas pela negatividade das obras de arte que ainda conseguem contradizê-la, quanto inerentes a esse mesmo sistema. Dialética essa que, como se mostrará, não se atém somente aos países onde o conceito de indústria cultural fora criado ou no velho continente, mas está presente inclusive naqueles que, sob a égide do atraso como querem os que defendem uma espécie de puerilidade estabeleceria uma possível autonomia a esse sistema; no samba e até mesmo na defesa pela arte popular / This study starts from the following question: Is reflection possible in cultural industry? Today, the amplitude of this concept has reached proportions which, concentrating on the one hand on those who see in it a positivist sense, as an integrator system, and, on the other hand on those who are considered pessimistic, by conceiving the totalitarian system of the cultural industry as a synonym of the end of times, more and more sink into dualisms which prevent reflection, ignoring any possible ambiguities in society and in the system itself. Contrary of this point and in order to answer that question, this study aims to present and discuss the contradictions of the concept of cultural industry, through the texts of the authors of the Frankfurt School who created it, especially Theodor W. Adorno and Max Horkheimer, in order to demystify and reduce the distances of the dual abysses which studies of this system have been treated. Guided by the principles of the Critical Theory of Society, this research hopes to show that, on the contrary of what is commonly understood about the study of this concept, it has also its contradictions and can not be reduced to definitions which are set into opposing blocs. If, on the one hand, the consideration of the cultural industry as apocalyptic is true, because of its totalitarian character and as the essential mediation for the maintenance of the unfair order and reification of individuals, also on the other hand, it is not less as well the concept in which it carries in itself the antidotes of this totality as far as it denies it. Result of the dialectic of enlightenment, the cultural industry, as an expression of barbarity and while as an objective spirit would remind the nature of domination present in the contradiction of this same spirit, and therefore, also the true pending humanity inherent to the very same dialectic, still presenting resistances, even between itself and reality, expressed by the negativity of those arts which can still contradict it, as well as resistances inherent this very same system. Such dialectic which, as this study intends to show, does not only hold on the countries where the concept of cultural industry was created or in the old continent, but it is also present in those where, under the aegis of the delay such as those who want to advocate a kind of puerility of these countries could establish a possible autonomy of this system; in samba and even in the defense of folk art

O sistema AGM, trabalho mais influente desta área apresentado por Alchourrón, Gärdenfos e Makinson, postula critérios de racionalidade para os diferentes tipos de mudança de crenças e oferece construções explícitas para tais - a equivalência entre os postulados e operações é chamado de teroema da representação. Trabalhos recentes mostram como o paradigma AGM pode ser compatível com diferentes lógicas não-clássicas, o que é chamado de AGM-compatibilidade - este é o caso da família de lógicas paraconsistentes que analisamos, as Lógicas da Inconsistência Formal (LFIs, da sigla em inglês). A despeito da AGM-compatibilidade, ao se partir de uma nova lógica sua racionalidade subjacente deve ser entendida e sua linguagem deve ser efetivamente usada. Propomos assim novas construções que de fato capturam a intuição presente na LFIs - é o que chamamos de sistema AGMo. Com isso, possibilitamos a estas lógicas uma nova interpretação, na esteira da epistemologia formal. Em uma abordagem alternativa, ao se partir da AGM-compatibilidade os resultados AGM podem ser diretamente aplicados às LFIs - o que chamamos de sistema AGMp. Em ambas abordagens, provamos os respectivos teoremas da representação sempre que necessário / Abstract: Belief Revision studies how rational agents change their beliefs when they receive new information. The AGM system, most influential work in this area of study investigated by Alchourrón, Gärdenfos and Makinson, postulates rationality criteria for different types of belief change and provides explicit constructions for them - the equivalence between the postulates and operations is called representation theorem. Recent studies show how the AGM paradigm can be compliant with different non-classical logics, which is called the AGM-compliance - this is the case of the paraconsistent logics family we analyze in this thesis, the Logics of Formal Inconsistency (LFIs). Despite the AGM-compliance, when a new logic is taken into account its underlying rationality must be understood and its language should be used. In that way new constructions are proposed, which actually captures the intuition of LFIs - what we call the AGMo system. Thus, we provide a new interpretation for these logics, more in line with formal epistemology. In an alternative approach, by considering the AGM-compliance, we show how the AGM results can be directly applied to LFIs -- resulting the AGMp system. Principer i konflikt

Background: The principles of war have a central but debated role in modern doctrine with heritage dating back to Sun Tzu. Despite that the principles are used in several modern doctrines, there is surprisingly little research to be found on these principles. The principles of security and surprise, are both argued as being key components in amphibious operations, though can also be seen as contradictory. Method: This thesis explores the principles of war by studying the theory of security, developing a theory with a set of success factors. These factors consist of physical protection, information supremacy and reserves. Hypothetically, the presence of these factors explains the outcome of amphibious raids. The theory is examined in a qualitative text analysis on two case studies on the raids on St Nazaire and Makin Island where the success factors are tested by a deductive dihedral design. The results open for a final discussion in comparison with Jimmy Johansson’s research of the principle of surprise previously made on the same raids. Results: The results show that security, through the presence of success factors, is positively affecting the outcome of amphibious raids, though further research is necessary. Security and surprise although contradictory can work in synergy with a successful surprise element leading to increased security and information supremacy a prerequisite for surprise.

Living the theory : an enquiry into the development of a psychotherapist in training

This dissertation explores the experiences of a psychotherapist in training. Psychotherapeutic training can be described as taxing, because personal change often results from the process, and change can be difficult. This study is an action research enquiry that focused on a living theory methodology. A living theory enquiry strives to find answers to the question of how to improve the practice (in this dissertation, the practice of sychotherapy). In order to find answers to this question, the researcher embarks on a journey of reflective awareness, which highlights whether he or she is able to practise in accordance with his or her personal values. An explicit awareness of both personal and professional values is essential in a living theory enquiry. A living contradiction occurs when a person is unable to consolidate his or her personal and professional values. A living contradiction has a negative impact on a practitioner’s well-being, which may in turn influence how that person practises psychotherapy. This dissertation explores such a living contradiction which the researcher experienced during her training as a psychotherapist. A subtext of the dissertation can be described as the Narrative of a psychotherapist (in training) dealing with personal trauma. Drivkrafter för barns överträdelser i skolan : belysta ur ett struktureringsteoretiskt perspektiv

Hur barn förhåller sig till regler har belysts i forskning som visat att barnen lägger stor vikt vid moralrelaterade regler. Hur barnen accepterar konventionella regler beror på vilken funktion regeln upplevs fylla. Det som saknas i forskningen är ett dynamiskt perspektiv som tar hänsyn till interagerande aktörers ömsesidiga inflytande över varandra när förutsättningarna förändras och hur detta i sin tur skapar nya förutsättningar. För att belysa detta utgår studien från Giddens struktureringsteori som stipulerar att människors sociala handlingar både formar och formas av de strukturella förutsättningarna till skillnad från ett mer strukturalistiskt perspektiv där aktörerna ses som underkastade den struktur som de verkar inom. Struktureringsteorin möjliggör också för underordnade aktörer att utöva kontroll över de med mera makt. Datainsamlingen har genomförts genom deltagande observationer på en skola. Observationsobjektet har varit incidenter där eleverna agerat på ett sätt som inte är förenligt med verksamhetens konventioner. Fokus har legat på elevernas utnyttjande av resurser i form av material och lokaler. Resultatet visar att inbyggda motsättningar i de strukturella förutsättningarna öppnar en möjlighet för eleverna att ta kontroll över de resurser som personalen försöker reglera. När personalen försöker återta kontrollen resulterar det i oavsiktliga konsekvenser på grund av faktorer som inte uppmärksammats vilket i regel förskjuter problematiken och upprätthåller det olovliga resursutnyttjandet. / How children relate to rules has been highlighted in research in which children attach great importance to moral-related rules. How children accept conventional rules depends on what function the rule is perceived to fulfill. What is missing from the research is a dynamic perspective that considers how interacting actors influence each other when conditions change and how this in turn creates new conditions. To illuminate this, the study is based on Gidden's theory of structuration which stipulates that people's social actions both shape and are shaped by the structural conditions as opposed to a more structuralist perspective where the actors are seen as subjects to the structure in which they operate. The theory of structuration also enables subordinate actors to exercise control over those with more power. The data collection was carried out through participant observations at one school. The object of observation has been incidents where the students acted in a manner incompatible with the conventions of the school. The focus has been on students' utilization of resources in the form of materials and premises. The result shows that built-in contradictions in the structural conditions open opportunities for students to take control of the resources that the staff is trying to regulate. When staff try to regain control, it results in unintended consequences due to factors that have not been recognized, which usually offsets the problem and maintains the unwanted utilization of resources.

This master's thesis addresses TED, the global phenomenon dedicated to spreading revolutionary ideas worldwide. The aim of this thesis is to find and show correlations between interesting ideas from TED talks - under the tags 'education' and 'teaching', and their potential implementations among the Czech society. Through monographic method I investigate the most significant attributes/trends of the current crisis of the educational systems worldwide and their impact on a teacher - their role as a whole and the perception and acceptance of the goals of their work. These issues are addressed in a discourse about the changes in educational systems in 21st century worldwide and in the Czech Republic. It also explores the interconnections between problems in education and the state of society, its values and philosophical superstructures. One of the sections shows reader a compilation of categorize analyses of individual talks from TED based on their topic and content. The final part revolves around the most common topics from the talks that have direct connection to the current state of the Czech educational system which have been identified through educational research. Rozpor a biomoc. Diskurzívna regulácuia zahaľovania moslimiek v Českej republike / Differend and Biopower. Discursive Regulation of Covering Muslim Women in Czech republic

The diploma thesis combines the theoretical concepts of postmodernism and biopower, that are subsequently applied to the particular issue of covering Muslim women living in the Czech Republic. This problem includes the religious, gender, media, social and philosophical level. Each of them is supported by key authors who are experts in this issue. Michel Foucault's concept of biopower, that covers both social and individual bodies through power discourse, interferes with the clothing, that gender attribute, like the Muslim veil, is based on the ideas of Judith Butler. The priority is the ambivalent conception by Jean-François Lyotard, as a kind of conflict, the outlet of which is pluralistic debate. The aim of the thesis is to find a tolerant solution of the current erratic situation in the collision of European and Middle Eastern cultures in the Czech Republic, like wearing the Muslim veil, as the expression of Islam in public with applying Lyotard's demanding ethics of accepting pluralism as an alterity.
