Arte e vida: ambientações clínicas e estéticas da existência / Art and life: clinical settings and aesthetics of existence

Canguçu, Daniela Figueiredo 26 October 2012 (has links)
The writing of this dissertation was based on the privilege of the circumstantial meeting among distinct theoretical fields in an attempt of articulation of theory and concepts, in view of the event and the experience. For this purpose, the task kept on the approach or the fusion between art and life in which the statements of dadaism and surrealism have made expressive contributions. The clinical experiences, considered settings, were exposed on narrative form that is the method on which this research was based. Inspired on authors from psychoanalysis, philosophy, arts, and literature, some of them have become constant supports for this research Freud, Lacan, Guattari, Foucault, Benjamin and Lyotard, besides artists and writers. The issues proposed or developed on this dissertation were problematized from an interdisciplinary perspective that surmises connections between the clinical environments and an aesthetics of existence.

I opposition mot traditionen : En konstsociologisk studie om etableringen av Elmgreen & Dragset och upprätthållandet av en avantgarde-position / In opposition to the tradition : An art sociological study about the establishment of Elmgreen & Dragset and the upholding of an avantgarde position

Dahlberg Jigander, Josephine January 2015 (has links)

Básnická tvorba Ludvíka Kundery / Poetry of Ludvík Kundera

Hubená, Ester January 2017 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the poetry of Ludvík Kundera. It introduces his work in chronological order and within the contemporary literary-historical framework. The analysis and the interpretation of his early poems often refer to the war period. Language and its potentiality are a main concern in Kundera's other work. His poetry is defined in the context of avant-garde modern art: surrealism, dadaism and expressionism. The thesis researches the impact of Brecht's poetics on Kundera, too. It also introduces the persona of the artist, who significantly contributed to forming the Czech literary field during the second half of the 20th century. Kundera's poetry relates to Czech and foreign artists and their works. The poems rise from ordinary occasions, as well as showing the poet's intertextual approach. Experimentation, wordplay, lyrical humour and irony are an inherent part of Ludvík Kundera's work.

MARCEL DUCHAMP: IMPRESSÕES EM CONSERVA / Marcel Duchamp: Impressions Canned

Pavan, Margot 21 November 1996 (has links)
This work selects specific texts of Marcel Duchamp: theoretical texts in which Duchamp reflects about the art world. This texts are lectures that Marcel Duchamp gave at universities, letters and catalogs for the exhibitions that he organized and whose texts Duchamp signed. This material is essential to understand how a so radical artist understood art as he struggled to propagate his views. Duchamp played an important role in introducing European art to the United States by working as curator for a long period. It\'s amazing to read his texts presenting Picasso, Calder or Matisse. Or even defending the reasons why every artist should attend the university. These are texts that every art student or art lover should read. This material was selected and translated from the originals published on the books Duchamp du Signe - écrits (Paris, Flammarion, 1975) and The Writings of Marcel Duchamp (New York, Da Capo Preess, 1989), organized by Michel Sanouillet with the collaboration of Elmer Peterson (both contain the same texts, the first one in French, the second one in English). This selection covers 25% to 30% of these books. I left out of my selection all the notes that are part of the own works of Duchamp and have an intense poetic character, often using sophisticated puns. Besides the translation of theoretical texts, my work have two more parts. An afterword, which is a view of Duchamp\'s works illuminated only by the texts which are translated at the first part and an Appendix - which is the part I like best. This appendix is a joke on Duchamp. I propose a Ready-made to define a profile of his work cutting from the texts he wrote about other artists only traces that are strongly present in his own work. It´s almost a psychoanalytic reading that indicates how we see in others what we have in us.

Punkestetik : Provokation, revolution eller D.I.Y.?

Eneroth, Joacim January 2013 (has links)

Arx, Pauline von 19 December 2014 (has links)
Francis Picabia (1879 – 1953), well-known French painter of the beginning of the twentieth century, was also an experimentalist poet of the avant-garde milieu, who wrote throughout his entire life. Part of his writings have been edited, but many unpublished works can still be found in archives. The Dada period of his poetry is perhaps best known, more particularly for his drawing-poems, but I have discovered during my research that his late writings contain many unrevealed aspects. Particularly after he met the editor Pierre André Benoit (PAB) in 1948, a new important period began in Picabia’s poetic output, during which he published his writings from 1939 to 1951. This intense collaboration took place mainly at a distance, through the exchange of frequent letters, soon turning into a sincere friendship. These publications, most of which are one-of-a-kind books, are printed personally by PAB on his printing press, and are often illustrated by the artist or by the editor himself.Surprisingly, Picabia’s late poetry is strongly marked by Friedrich Nietzsche’s writings, in particular by The Gay Science (1882). The “borrowings” are so evident, that they call for a specific, new interpretation: thus, this peculiar creative process can be seen as a phenomenon of appropriation, or “intertextual rewriting”. This process of “copying”, was applied by the artist indistinctively to his art and poetry and can function as a possible solutionfor the classification of his controversial poems.
