Balthazar, Gregory da Silva January 2018 (has links)
This thesis covers the potential of the dialogue between feminisms and the visual arts to gender subjectivities. During the development of this study, we have been observing that the field of Education has worked with image almost singularly as an instrument of a will to knowledge that normatively educates the bodies; otherwise, this thesis proposes to think the image as a fertile locus to an ethical education of the eye. Based on Michel Foucault, Georges Didi-Huberman and Judith Butler, we aim to problematize how some contemporary artistic practices call into question the ways in which gender is understood, lived and thought within a normative ontoepistemology of the human. For that, the ideas launched in this work are established on the analysis of three contemporary artists - Yasumasa Morimura, Maria Lídia Magliani and Judy Chicago -, because we believe that feminisms call us to transform and create ethically our subjectivities.

« MOUV », un parcours de marche urbaine pour co-construire le vivre ensemble en ville de Nice / "MOUV", an urban walking trail to co-develop the being together in the city of Nice

Passel, Sébastien 10 July 2015 (has links)
The project “Optimal Walk in the Green City” – called “MOUV” in French – has the aim to offer an innovative methodology responding to a being-together need, taking into account the ideational and material interactions generated by the city. Putting forward a principle of citizen participation which promotes shared knowledge of the territory, MOUV aims to develop a collective project placing actors at the heart of their lived spaces evolution. The purpose of this project is to include the daily mobility (by urban walking practices) as part of a common founder territorial construction, generating well-being for city dwellers, which brings us inevitably to a project made by the social and cognitive mechanisms transcribed in public spaces.Based on tools and methods pooling interdisciplinary skills of the project team, thirteen sessions of focus groups and social help patrols have been conducted with a diversified panel living within the same perimeter, in the city-center of Nice. In this dialectic of social and spatial, through the development of a collective learning from cartographic workshops based on an adaptation of Maslow's theory, people can define and appropriate rules and common values over the needs which spatialize their wellbeing, demonstrating a collective responsibility taken on the public spaces of their territory.

Will the conflict concerning the Human Terrain System continue?

Lilliestråle, Märtha January 2011 (has links)
Human Terrain System has been describes as: “Not since World War II has a military consulting been endorsed so publicly; not since Vietnam had it been condemned so fiercely.” The purpose of this essay is to describe what the controversy and the critique presented against HTS consists off and to see if there is a beginning to a solution in some way. HTS is embedding socials scientists within military deployed units and it is argued to violate the ethic codes of research. Pauline Kusiak has presented a solution to the conflict. By analysing the arguments in the public debate between the anthropologists against and HTS’s advocates the purpose is to answer if the U.S. Military recognise the tensions between anthropology methods and their embedding in HTS? To measure ‘recognition’ the model of ‘The Feedback Stair’ is used. The answer is that the tension is not recognised and it supports the hypothesis that the U.S. Military are not at the first step one the solution presented by Kusiak to diminish ‘the civilian-military gap.

Dilemata práce s klientem s důrazem na problematiku kompetencí sociálních pracovníků / The dilemmas of the work with a client with the emphasis on the problems of the social worker´s competency.

DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Zuzana January 2009 (has links)
This work paies that, dilemmas of the work a client and problems of social workers. Through studies available resources and fulfilment qualitative research has been that social workers must most often decide under the pressure of circumstances and importance of the situation; must prioritize either the quality of services or the number of clients; must be able to select the correct variant in the event of intervention or non-intervention in a client{\crq}s situation; know how much help they can give so that they do not control the client; and be able to manage moral conflicts. Social workers most often rely on their knowledge and experience, professional judgment and conscientiousness. . It is also important that a social worker can confide in a senior worker and have an opportunity to discuss with them all required matters. Gained experience provides workers with a dispassionate point of view for decision-making.

Risk to Maintenance-Dependent Species from Orthodoxy in Species-Based Land-Use Regulation

Novick, Adam 06 1900 (has links)
270 pages / I theorize and offer some evidence that humans inadvertently risk exacerbating the loss of maintenance-dependent species on private land by using species-based land-use regulation to seek other benefits. Drawing evidence primarily from the US, I argue that such regulation poses a risk to maintenance-dependent species, that humans routinely disregard this risk, and that this disregard widely serves to defend the power of individuals and organizations to use such regulation to seek other benefits. I suggest this implies that with constraints on public funding, humans might improve the survival of some species by clarifying the purpose of such regulation and considering openly refraining from such regulation for some species. I also suggest such change might depend on articulating the issue as whether the survival of a species could ever depend on individuals having a right to conserve or maintain it without selectively incurring harm from regulation intended to save it.

Arbetsmoral som val : En innehållsanalys av intervjuer med fem arbetsgivare om deras syn på den icke-arbetande / Work ethic as a choice : A content analysis of five employers about their view onthe non-worker

Mannsdorff Djurberg, Christoffer January 2018 (has links)
Employers can be viewed as a center of a so called work ideology. This ideology is at least as old as the ancient greeks and effects how we view people who work, and people who for different reasons do not work. Work ethic as a choice is a content analysis of interviews with five employers regarding work and leisure. This study shows that the interviewed employers speak about labour as something everybody must, and will at some point in life, do. People who are on sick leave are to be respected, and all decisions regarding the persons use of their time should be decided by their doctor. No one should get money without first contributing to society by working in a wage paying job. Work is however something healthy and makes people feel good, mostly because of the social context and the feeling of being part of something; of contributing. The work ideology is highly present in the interviewees language and differs between them in accordance with difference in class and economic, social and cultural capital. / Arbetsberoendet

L'éducation du patient adulte entre normalisation et normativité / Adult patient education between normalization and normativity

Walker, Philippe 30 June 2016 (has links)
Education of adult patients : between normalization and normativity. The development of patient education attempts to address the relentless progression of diabetes and other chronic diseases. The objective of this thesis is to examine therelationships between medical standards for patients and caregivers. It aims to understand what underlies the development of this practice with medicine that is progressing in its scientific approach. Then pedagogy becomes a prescription to find health standards. There placement of a medical standard with an educational standard brings into question the educational process between normalization and normativity. Normalization exposes thepatient to the rules that come from science-based medicine while normativity invites the patient to find their own standards in order to live with their illness. The ethical approach makes it possible to question the prescribed autonomy and invites us to share ourweaknesses in order to better share our knowledge. Courage seems to be at the core of the deliberation to adapt an educational approach to each individual situation to enable patient education to be therapeutic.

The structure, syntax and style of this text disclosure that we are not in front of laws but in front of parenesis. If so asking about your Sitz im Leben, date and contents is very important. The searching for social process that created the conflicts indirectly indicate between free men owner of land and out of the state of poverty and free men owner of land but near of loses it because the debt in natura as well. To verify sociological plausibility of Exodus 23,1-9 we inquiry through social history what kind of society was Israel in time of tribalism and after in monarchy and what kind of social consequences each social system of these promote in ancient Israel. In this way, we intend to know historical-sociological background that create our text.(AU) / Êxodo 23,1-9 se insere no universo jurídico do antigo Israel não como lei a maneira das formulações em estilo casuístico e apodítico, mas como instrução ética.

Putting the relation between the ethic and the religious, Kierkegaard with the use of the pseudonyms shows several conceptions. It was searched, then, to identify if and until what point one can think, starting from certain writings of Kierkegaard, on a conciliatory mention, notably, between the ethical and religious stages. To complete this analysis, they were surveyed secondarily the critical and studious authors who could support a confirmation or an information of the antagonism between the referred stages. In other words, it was wanted to clear if there was a total exclusion or if it could be thought about conciliation coming from some essential relation, intrinsic between the ethical and religious spheres.
