<p><p>Uppsatsen ser ett problem i dagens svenska elitfotboll och frågar sig ur ett organisationsteoretiskt perspektiv vilka organisatoriska utmaningar svensk elitfotboll står inför. Uppsatsen bygger på en kvalitativ metod med djupintervjuer där framstående personer med olika bakgrund inom den svenska elitfotbollen ger sin syn på svensk fotbolls problem och utmaningar ur ett organisatoriskt perspektiv. Ur ett teoretiskt perspektiv ställer uppsatsen upp med sport management, organisationskultur och New Public Management för att förklara utmaningarna svensk elitfotboll står inför. Utmaningarna består av det folkrörelsearv och amatörideal som den svenskelitfotboll dras med vilken hämmar en förändring mot ett mer företagsinspirerat och professionellt styrande av elitfotbollen.</p></p>

<p>Denna studie handlar om individen i organisationen och författaren vill med denna uppsats belysa organisationsaktörers roll och betydelse för organisationsutvecklingar. Genom en kvalitativ undersökning och sociologisk ansats undersöktes hur anställda på Hyresgästföreningen upplevde organisationens nationella utvecklingsprojekt <em>Uppdrag M</em> som startades som en metod för att modernisera samt öka organisationens legitimitet, representativitet och styrka. Studien sökte även undersöka hur personalen upplevde projektformen samt vilka hinder de såg stå i vägen för en framgångsrik projektutveckling.</p><p>Resultatet analyserades med hjälp av teoretiska perspektiv från organisationssociologin. Analysen av materialet visar att intervjupersonerna hade ett paradoxalt förhållningssätt till projektet och dess målsättningar. De såg positivt på att folkrörelsen ville bryta gamla mönster och traditioner, samtidigt förhöll de sig både skeptiska och ifrågasättande. Intervjupersonerna kunde även urskilja flera hinder och brister för en lyckad organisationsutveckling.</p><p>Intervjupersonernas upplevelser av projektet och dess målsättningar tolkas sammantaget ha bidragit bland annat till en saknad känsla av delaktighet, otydligheter kring projektet och ibland även brist på förtroende. Detta kan ha påverkat inte bara deras acceptans av utvecklingsprojektet utan även hur de valde att ta sig an förändringsprocesserna. Författarens slutsats är därför att organisationsaktörer har en stor roll och betydelse för huruvida ett utvecklingsprojekt förblir endast ett projekt eller ifall det leder till några genomgripande förändringar.</p>

This essay is about the circumstances of the sport association Orgryte Idrottssallskap (OIS) in the years 1943–1960. The purpose is to find out if the association can be called a democratic people's movement project by studying how the boards relationship to different groups like women, different social classes and political groups looked like and thereby problematizing how the association's relation to democratic integration and democratic ruling. The method used when studying the board’s meeting protocols from the years 1943–1960 is characterized as qualitative reading with hermeneutically inspired elements. The method is suitable for answering questions about Orgryte IS's relation to democratic integration and democratic ruling. The survey has shown that the association was not ruled democratically in the years 1943– 1960 and that the association had different approaches to different groups. Furthermore, the study has shown that economic conditions affected the association's opportunities to practice sports as well as the opportunities to have a democratic content. The study of the board’s meetings protocol has shown that the Second World War affected the associations work.

The purpose of this master&apos;s thesis is to describe and analyse the origin and development of the library of Workers´ Educational Association in the community of Oskarström. This library is special because the organisation run it much longer than usual, until 1977, and to find an answer to why, we have the following questions: Why does the library of Workers´ Educational Association start their activity in Oskarström, and how does it develop, in relation to premises, librarians, financing, the stock of books and the numbers of books out on loan? What is the reason that the library in Oskarström is municipalized as late as 1977? The methods we use are hermeneutics and evaluation of the sources. The library is founded in 1914 and become important for the workers. Important sources of income are the subventions given by the state, municipality and other associations. The library acts as a public library during all its time. After the final reforms of the municipalities in Sweden, the new municipality Halmstad take over the library in 1974. The reason why the organisation runs it until 1977 is because the municipality wants to build new premises for the library, and these are not finished until that year. / Uppsatsnivå: D

The aim of this master's thesis is to better understand the Swedish labour movement's independent libraries in the city of Malmö from the 1880's to the libraries' integration into the municipal library system, starting in 1927. In order to analyze and contextualize the workers' libraries I have used Habermas' theory of the public sphere together with Fraser's critique of Habermas as well as Gramsci's notion of hegemony. The study shows that the workers' libraries played an important role in the formation of class consciousness in Malmö. The libraries made discussion and circulation of information possible, and were parts of an independent subaltern counterpublic. The worker's libraries are also, like the municipal libraries, characterised by an ambition to disciplin andcultivate their users. In time, as a part of what Habermas calls the structural transformation of the public sphere, this subaltern counterpublic was integrated into the state. This is part of a larger process, where the municipalities are transformed into the “outermost branch” of the state. As part of this development the counterpublic expands to include larger groups, until it loses its character as an independent counterpublic: the counterpublic turns from addressing people in the notion of “working class” to people as the (national) population as a whole. In an attempt to improve its negotiation position, the workers' library in Malmö adopted an ideal of respectability (skötsamhet) and in exchange for economic funding agreed on abandoning its “agitational” activities. The library, as part of thesedevelopments, loses its independent political function.

The thesis deals with the role and development of Public libraries with a focus on the political debate between 1899 and 1912. Public libraries today have a role as a socially important institution and are thus an important part of our society. In order to understand and gain clarity about today's Public library debate and the Public libraries' institutional role and legitimacy, the debate that prompted the development of Public libraries around the turn of the century in 1900 needs to be examined and elucidated. The thesis will deal with the background to the political library debate that took place between 1899 and 1912, how the arguments put forward for the library's development and role in society were and what parallels can be drawn to a contemporary context. The empiric consists mainly of political documents from the Parliament debate and these are analyzed on the basis of an institutional theoretical approach through a qualitative content analysis. Valfrid Palmgren's investigation and report, which was presented in 1911-1912, became important for the development of the Public library and may thus conclude the historical context. The result of the thesis shows a Public library development that follows the prevailing social development in a society where the people's voices through popular movement work, popular education and commitment worked towards democratic goals. The Public libraries came to be important for both the development of that time and have so also today through their today institutional role in society.
