We sought to investigate the paradigm of Education in Countryside of pedagogy course offered by PROA??O II, answering the question: What theoretical and practical elements in PROA??O effectively promote a paradigm shift in the field of education? A Content Analysis, combined with historical and dialectical materialism was taken as a methodological principle. Corpus were selected as the Educational Project, the Program of Education in Countryside discipline, in addition to semi-structured interviews applied to peasant - teachers in the municipality of Ilheus, the course coordinators in UESC and municipal coordinators of Education in Countryside. The category of contradiction between chance-reality pointed to countriside education as a social phenomenon, the perception of their actual states and its possibilities. The data analysis allowed us to infer that the socio- political character of this educational approach is the materialization of a popular education and rupture of the structure of capitalist society, however, within the possibilities of implementation of its proposed action, there are constraints that shield its strength of action . Thus, the challenge posed for policymakers is to realize, in the capitalist model elements to overcome and subsequent implementation of a socialist pedagogy, either in specific courses for educators in the field or pedagogy courses responsible for in-service training teachers working in primary education the working class, the countryside and the city.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Disserta??o Manoel Gon?alves dos Santos Vers?o Final.pdf: 3050461 bytes, checksum: 4a2831ab42eedd17b9bce6f70522d13e (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-03-12 / The quality of teacher education is currently too questioned and discussed by researchers from Brazil and the world, in view of the importance that is attributed to education in this social scenario characterized by the expansion of globalization and the globalization of capital. In this discussion about the teacher qualification, the theme of the relationship between theory and practice has gained relevance, considering the formative potential of this binomial is coated, as well as by the dichotomous perspective with which the same has historically been conducted in curriculum settings and training practices. Taking this scenario as motivation, the investigation stems from the following question: What are the implications of the curricular and pedagogical organization of the course in pedagogy of UEFS in the process of appropriation of the relation theory and practice realized by the students of this course? While theoretical and epistemological orientation, this research is based on principles of historical- dialectic materialism. It is a qualitative research, whose l?cus is the course of pedagogy of the Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana/Bahia, and the subjects are 47 students attending the seventh or the eighth semester. The data derive from the application of a questionnaire and documentary analysis of pedagogical political project of course. The theoretical-conceptual framework includes a historical foray that explains the process of structuring the concepts of theory and practice in the history of knowledge, and some eployment of relations arising from these concepts in the configuration and interpretation of reality. Also includes a historical and critical- political analysis of the influence of the interests of the dominant social classes, based in the dominion and expansion of capital, of the Brazilian State, and how these interests have been reverberating in teacher education. Seeking to problematize the reality of our empirical field regarding the theme on screen, as well as trying to demarcate formative principles aligned to theoretical ballast that guides the research, were used as interlocutors, among others, the following authors: Adolfo Sanchez Vasquez, Dermeval Saviani, Luis Carlos de Freitas, Leda Sheibe, Selma Garrido Pimenta and Iria Brzezinski. The results allow to infer that the implications in question have an impact on the training politic and on the technical training of future teachers, understood as complementary dimensions. In the first dimension, taking as a higher ideal of training overcome capitalist mode of production, it was noted that the proposal of the course a countersignature emancipatory direction, but does not define explicitly which joins training history project, if one legitimating of the dictates of capital, or its opposite. It is understandable that such vagueness can be competing for its students to share, as the data show, a vision of the social function of school entered in the capital's landmarks, as well as a concept of relationship between theory and practice circumscribed preponderantly on training model constituted consisting of technical rationality and practical rationality, both hallmarks of teaching practice which does not enhance the ideological and political nuance of education, although noticed signs of a building movement of a vision based on the epistemology of praxis. Regarding the repercussions on the technical dimension, while meeting process to know how to do, the findings indicate a positive perception from the students about the knowledge studied for the expansion of their vision about the reality of the craft in which they will operate. However, their voices reveal, primarily, the existence of a dichotomy of the bargain theory and practice on the course, pointing to problems related to pedagogical work and teaching, and indicating the need for the course thinking, institutionalize and operationalize a collective and interdisciplinary work in such a way, enforcing what assumes its pedagogical political project, to promote effective appropriation of the relationship between theory and practice by students and therefore a better political and technical instrumentalization of these future professionals of basic education.

From there I began to realize the gap between academia and teaching practice, which comes into being from the moment in which the teacher carries out its functions in everyday school life (Tardif, 2014). Over time there is a gap theory as it is the daily practice that directs their work in the classroom. When I took my position at Serop?dica Prefecture, was studying education for ?tnico-raciais Relations in PENESB, which made me realize that despite the existence of Law 10.639 / 03 amending LDBEN - Law of Guidelines and Bases for National Education 9394/96 on Article 26, some teachers still do not have knowledge of it and others who know her say not knowing how implement it. According to my experiences lived in everyday school life, I realized how much this is traditionalist and prioritizing a particular culture, so there is a silencing that supports prejudice and discimina??o interfering in the socialization of children in school (Chevalier, 2012). The invisibility of the Other and its culture is present in everyday school life. In view of this, we intend to find grants that lead to reflection on teacher training and the knowledge that they "mobilized" to work in the classroom. And in the specific case of this study, to investigate the formation of education professionals who have graduated in UFRRJ - Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The theme chosen to develop this work aims to contribute elements to the debate of the issues surrounding teacher training and the application of Law 10.639 / 03, taking as a starting point also my academic background.

Such polyhedra arouse interest in teachers and also the students because of its beauty and also for its conceptual struture. Therefore, the presente work aims to analyze how a classroom dedicated to diversity, and not just to students skill limitations, cognitive and contribues differently for learning each of them when the topic studied are the stellar polyhedra. We show you an interactive room is able to include students who easily exclude school due to a difficulty to perform activity with a feature that exposes its limitations. This architeture of classroom challenges educators to rethink different possiblities for analysis of teaching-learning process. In addition to curricular innovations, we believe that the results of the work bring new perspectives for the analysis of mathematical learning through the use of foldings, adjutments, animations and instutional videos / Atualmente o trabalho com poliedros estrelados no ensino m?dio n?o possui registro nas propostas oficiais nacionais. Regarding the locus of teacher formation, we started with the "regal classes" in the nineteenth century to the advent of "higher education institutes" in the twentieth century. In the twenty-first century were created in 2008 by law n? 11,892, (BRAZIL, 2008) the Federal Institutes of Science Education and Technology (IFs), the focus of our research, with the obligation to offer 20% of their vacancies to degree courses and special programs for teacher training, in order to train the teachers for basic education, establishing a new space to form new teachers throughout Brazil. The Federal Institutes are part of public policy for technical and technological professional education, which reconfigured the Federal Professional Education Network in the country. From this context, we seek to investigate how the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology are carrying out the legal requirement to train teachers, taking as the object of our research the degrees offered by these institutions in Rio de Janeiro State. The overall aim of the study is to describe the features of creation and offering of Teacher Training courses in the Federal Institutes of Rio de Janeiro State, involving some issues related to the current law, the professionals involved and the offered infrastructure for offering these courses. About the methodology we can say that it?s a research of basic nature, which addresses the problem qualitatively, with reflections on the qualifications of the faculty, difficulty opening the course, location and quality impacts among others. We used as instruments for data collection: literature review, research on official websites, the Institutes?s internal documents research, questionnaires, interviews and field notebook. From the analysis of the collected material it was found that the degree courses have been created taking into account mainly the legislation requiring IFs to offer at least 20% of vacancies for degree courses, human resources and available infrastructure. We also found that faculty responsible for pedagogical subjects mostly consists of professionals without training in education or teaching, which in our view difficult to establish a deeper debate about the pedagogical issues. However, we find the institution that some initiatives aimed at making the debate more present, both in the pedagogical projects of the courses, and in the speeches of the coordinators. We believe that the Teacher Training Courses in IFRJ are still looking for their identity because coordinators and teachers speeches are still very dissonant about pedagogical issues / A legisla??o que rege a forma??o de professores no Brasil ? marcada pela descontinuidade, tanto no que diz respeito ao locus dessa forma??o como em rela??o ?s propostas pedag?gicas surgidas e implantadas ao longo do tempo.

The purpose is to demonstrate that the construction of the knowledge, by means of literary art, allows a creative and critical intellectualization through the conduction of lessons with interdisciplinary strategies. For the development of our reasoning, we support ourselves in theoretical references that prioritize the emergent scientific paradigm, as the theory of the complexity and the theory of multiple intelligences. For in such a way, we proceeded to an extensive bibliographical survey, followed by the analysis of after-tests and questionnaires filled out by the students. We evidenced that even those students who appraise the lesson as traditional, wait that the teacher leads it in an interdisciplinary form. In acknowledging these results, we defend that the proper practical research be a way in the development of a more humanistic look in Education.

Therefore, the specific objectives here are to: (I) comprehensively understand early childhood education in the context of the city; (II) apprehend the concepts of training vs. symbolic processes vs. child, present in the statements of documents on continuing education at the municipal level; (III) learn how continuing education courses for early childhood education are organized and offered; (IV) identify the topics developed in continuing education courses; (V) identify interests, selection criteria for the courses offered, expectations, and needs related by some early childhood professionals in their formative process. This is a qualitative research study involving an analysis of specific official documents on continuing education in Campinas and consideration of the guidelines for primary education in early childhood offered by the municipality, as well as an examination of continuing education courses offered between 2010 and 2014 through SME deliberations as published in the official journal of the city. The research also included fieldwork through semi-structured interviews with a group of early childhood education professionals (educational director, pedagogical advisor, early education teachers and other professionals, and one coordinator of the Department of Technical Pedagogy) involved in training in the city of Campinas. Based on the collected data, analytical categories were surveyed in order to learn which topics are covered in training courses and how these topics are associated with symbolic processes; the topics are relevant and to some extent meet the demands of early childhood education professionals. The interviewed professionals consider the continuing education programs offered by RMEC of the utmost importance, but they also point to interesting aspects to be rearranged. We expect to contribute with elements to provide an organic view of the work developed for early childhood education and for training the professionals involved in this context; we also offer a reflection on continuing education as part of early childhood education, identifying aspects that have been receiving more investment so as to establish a correlation with child development.

Final years by focusing on the case of the city of Campinas in the last five years (2010-2014). Besides, we intend to identify the similarities and differences between the guiding principles of the official documents of the SME ? Campinas (City Department of Education) about the continued formation and educational practice in the city, according to the vision of Pedagogical Advisor. It is a qualitative case study. The method includes: analysis of official documents at the municipal level and semi-structured interviews with seven peoples ? five Pedagogical Advisor, one from each NAED (Educational Action Center decentralized), and two linked coordinators to equipment continuing education in the municipality. The results indicated that, in recent years, this city has opted for formation of antagonistic formative models and both have close relations with pragmatism and neo-liberal ideology. With regard to the dialogue between the SME and the schools, in view of Pedagogical Advisor, identified mismatched and contradictory speeches that is the result of teacher's working conditions, especially for lack of teaching time to execution training activities, elapsing in an obstacle in the consolidation of continued education policy for these professionals. This study contributes to reflections on continued education in public schools. At the same time, we believe that the analysis of needs identified by Pedagogical Advisor and topics addressed in the courses and formation groups offered by SME will enable reflections on the proposals contained in official documents of this city and the educational reality.

In this perspective, we ask: how the current educational proposal of the course of pedagogy of UEFS has contributed to the training of literacy teachers? As teachers who are trained in that course feel about the task of teaching reading and writing? The proposition of the Pedagogy Program, according to the Resolution CNE / CP 01/2006, defines teaching as basis for the formation of the pedagogue, and this act primarily in childhood education and the early grades of elementary school, when the procurement processes reading and writing should be consolidated. In this sense, the objective of this work is known prospects of graduates teachers about the importance of the course of pedagogy of UEFS in their own training as literacy teachers. This qualitative study was used as methodological strategies documentary research on the norms of that course and curricular organization (national and local levels) and the semi-structured interviews with five teachers who worked in 1st year classes in 2014, discharged of the course Pedagogy of UEFS. During the research, we approach the different conceptions of literacy that permeate the history of education in Brazil and the various theoretical and methodological insights into the process of literacy looking for directly influence the pedagogical practice of literacy teacher, from theoretical as Ferreiro (2012) Soares (2002, 2004), Britto (2003), Kleiman (2007), Mortatti (2000) and Morais (2006). We also discuss some ideas about curriculum, using as support the contributions of Gimeno Sacrist?n (2000), Veiga-Neto (2002), Goodson (2007) and Silva (1999), passing then to discuss the historical construction of the curriculum of the course pedagogy in Brazil and its relation to the formation of literacy teachers, from authors like Saviani (2012), Lib?neo (2006), Pimenta (1999), Brzezinski (2012) and Scheibe (2007).Finally, we analyze the course of pedagogy of UEFS from regulatory and organizational documents, as well as interviews with teachers, subject of this research, trying to understand the place and the importance of literacy in that course, with the contribution of theoretical above, and Tardif (2011), Brito (2006), N?voa (2009), Weisz (2003), among others. The research signaled, among other things, the persistent lack of identity of course, observed since its genesis, intending, at present, form the teacher to work in early childhood education classes and the early grades of elementary school as well as the specialist to act in the school field and not educational spaces, which promotes swelling and fragmentation of the curriculum, tending to the superficiality and precarious training and; the need for a review of the course of pedagogy of UEFS (as locus of teacher who teaches reading and writing), emphasizing that literacy needs to gain more space on your curriculum, considering the urgent need to qualify the training of teachers for reading and writing education, ensuring all learners the right to enter the world of literacy consciously and competently.

In this sense, the understanding of the legal aspects and the speeches held in the academic community was central to the reflection regarding the appearance of this course in the year of 2002, indicating other possibilities for teacher education in Biological Sciences. In addition, placing EaD as a public politic and immersing in this field of analysis, the curriculum, led us to understand the asymmetric disputes of power, the disputes represented not only in the constitution of a teacher training course, but also in the field that it constitutes and legitimizes it. A qualitative research based on the curricula social historical studies - educational politics and historiography, specifically ?New History?. Written documents (matrices, curriculum syllabus, pedagogical projects, among others), and oral interviews (with different actors of the Biology Course of the CEDERJ consortium) were analyzed and were identified the elements that supported the emergence, the viability and the maintenance of the course. I was done based on the continuous dialogue between its decision-makers and articulators to build a curriculum proposal of a consortium profile, they were mobilized by the different universities that composed the CEDERJ consortium. During this study, conceptual maps were constructed. The reasoning for its use were supported in the characterization of MC as a methodology that helps in the understanding of a curricular proposal based on a consortium system, supported by articulated universities. In this way, the MC allowed the understanding of this articulation as a new way of perceiving the asymmetric relations of power. Thus, its contribution allowed this research to transit through a mesoanalytical scale in the construction of this work. In this research, one of the elements that underpinned this EaD project for teacher training was its social political context marked by partnerships and political leaderships, as well as the participation of people who occupied strategic positions, for moving now in the academic environment of the consortium universities, now in the political space of influences and decisions. This fact was important in a moment that the project of EaD did not echo in the speeches of the academics of the state of Rio de Janeiro. With respect to the curriculum proposal for the course in question it was identified that curricular changes between the generating matrix and its resulting matrix in the year of 2013, which extended the performance of the egress of the course, previously a teaching graduate, as of the resolution of the Federal Council of Biology. Now, the graduate can act in the area of Environment - thus changing the profile of the egress. It is worth highlighting of the students, the protagonists who pressed the institution for such a change. Thus, although the discourse of the articulators of the course tries to be away from the baccalaureate, avoiding to relate it to the disputes between teacher training and baccalaureate, the pressure of the graduates and the change of the profile of this approach the course of these debates.
