According to Humberto Maturana, within the history of biology, at times, the individual is given more prominence than the species; at others, the species is given more than the individual. Maturana.s theoretical proposition of simultaneously legitimizing both the species and the individual, which is at the root of the autopoiesis concept, is what I intend to investigate, by studying the ideas that lay the groundwork for his theory: the Biology of Cognition. By uncovering the conceptual foundations of the Biology of Cognition, I shall, therefore, explore the two operational domains of existence of living organisms: the first domain of the internal structural dynamic, of the identity of the being that knows and where autopoiesis occurs; and the second domain of the relational dynamic, where we effectively exist as living beings in the fulfillment of our living within recursive interactions. The treatment of the second domain can, thus, specify that which constitutes the possibility of dialoguing with the author, since we shall be dealing with the dynamic of human beings, who live immersed in language / Mestrado / Teoria Sociológica / Mestre em Sociologia

Les deux consciences : de l'étant-humain à l'Être et retour / The two consciousnesses : from human beings to Being and return

Graftieaux, Jean-Pierre 02 June 2009 (has links)
The fact of being conscious, awake and therefore in a watchful state implies a relation, which is ethical in that it reveals its ability to become aware of otherness. From then on it follows that self consciousness is also consciousness of the other. This consciousness – an interface between Being and human beings is in fact some moral consciousness whose internal structure cannot be based on remorse, which is withdrawal into oneself turned towards interiority, but based on the act of ek-xsistere which is turned towards others. In whose name should such consciousness necessarily be questioned? In what manner does it reveal its ability to come out of the self? Being as carrying the ontological discourse of anxiety invites consciousness to open up to human beings. The intrusion of anxiety in our consciousness enjoins it to be authentic, that is of having to be for others, an obligation shown and inscribed in our duty. “I am conscious” means that I am present, a presence which is no coincidence and sends us back via Being to our responsibility for human beings. To the god of philosophers, the one that gives Being, responds a consciousness whose efficiency is not from divine essence but strictly from human one. This consciousness refers to a common aim regarding the relation between patient and medical doctor, that of not making it a relation of objects, and which answers the existential interrogation of human finitude: why is there some Being

Orientador: Marcia de Paula Leite / Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-07T20:28:27Z (GMT). This thesis investigates how the familiar farmers, are busy with the creation of the associate familiar agro industries associative in the West of Santa Catarina; a politic answer to face the crisis by the familiar agriculture since the second half of 70's; is re-elaborating its life and work experiences from implanting these new enterprises. The thesis tries to observe how the politics ideals, were presented in the origin of these enterprises, remaining in the workers imaginary and in their daily work. The problem that oriented the investigation course can be proposed like this: How the farmers are involved in the creation and operation of the associative familiar agro industries linked to UCAF (União Central das Agroindústrias Familiares do Oeste Catarinense) are they re-elaborating their life and work experiences from implanting these production units? The hipotese in this work is that the strong politic motivation present in the origin of these enterprises was one of the factors that has influenced strongly in the organization trajectory and work conduction in the daily agro industries, as well as the way to interpret its meaning. However, the decisions of the workers involved in the organization of the enterprises and the way that these enterprises are perceived by these workers, are also influenced by other factors in na objective order (economic situation, materials needs, presence and the mediator's performance etc.) and by the subjective order factors (representations about the future, objective and personal interests, politics ideals, social insertion expectancy, personal elaborations about the work insertion, etc.) The research work was organized in three main moments. In the first moment, it was developed an exploratory study directed to the experiences characterizations existing in the West of Santa Catarina that, nowadays, they can be joined to the concept of supportive economy. In the second moment, it came true a general characterization of the associative familiar agro industries linked to UCAF (União Central das Agroindústrias Familiares do Oeste Catarinense), that act in the pork meat process, with the intention to join an amount of information about the enterprises of this production chain, analyzing its common characteristics and its economic and social impact to the people involved. The third moment came directed to the deep study of two pork meat production chain enterprises, characterized in the second moment, defined by the intentional choose. The results obtained confirm the work hipotese and elucidate the way how the new life and work experiences are being elaborated by the people involved in each enterprise, in an specific historical process, in what they interact objective and subjective conditions, beyond the cultural patrimony of this population / Doutorado / Educação, Sociedade, Politica e Cultura / Mestre em Educação

Člověk jako zoon politikon a filosofie jako výchova člověka (Býti na světě lidsky prostřednictvím zkušenosti s řečí) / Human being as zoon politikon and philosophy as education of man (Being in the world human trough experience with language)

Timingeriu, Filip January 2017 (has links)
This thesis aims - based on my detailed analysis of the first one of the three Heidegger's lectures on The Nature of Language (Das Wesen der Sprache 1957/58) in which he deals with the possibility of undergoing the experience of speech with the support of the onto-logical starting point, which is overcome by meaning-compliant thinking (besinnlicher Nachdenken) into a poetic experience with a word and with its relation to the entity and non-entity of a thing from the poem by Stefan Georg titled The Word (Das Wort) - to contemplate on the assumptions and limits of the apprehension of the philosophically-educative questioning as the nurture towards thinking, which should inevitably be preceded by the knowledge about what it means to be or not to be brought up in thinking. KEYWORDS education, human being, language, experience, poetry, thinking, Heidegger

kropp som kropp. Tankar och resonemang kring kroppsliga perspektiv i skolan

moritz, eva January 2008 (has links)
It was the purpose of the present study to explore thoughts and lines of reasonings concerning body perspectives in school. Based on students at a secondary school and on analyses of the curricula of the school, I reason about how we see the human being and the importance of it in school. In the introduction I start out from observations and highlight the body as a communicative channel leading up to the issue of students’ basic view of man as integrated or devided in body and soul. A study of twelve interviews of students shows that thoughts about the two perspectives had not been identified until now but that a great deal of interest existed for discussion on this subject. The definition of the basic outlook as dualistic or phenomenological is not clarified in the curriculum which means there is a scope of interpretation. The study makes clear that neither the students nor the curriculum have a well-reasoned and common starting-point. The study is about an overall view and highlights the different views and thoughts about the development of school. It is an holistic approach and an attempt to grasp body perspectives like body language, human deversity, experience, the way we use the spoken language, the complexity of our reason and actions. Perspectives that may affect our own view on the human being where our consciousness has a central role.

Heideggerova daseinsanalýza / Daseinsanalysis of Heideggers

Kavková, Monika January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis tries to outline the daseinsanalysis as such, so that the readers can be better understood. I describe the basic terms that are necessary for daseinsanalysis and without which it would not be understandable to a wider audience. In the first chapters I deal with the history of daseinsanalysis, where the reader is also acquainted with the names associated with this discipline. Then I describe the development in Czech republic and its principles. As the daseinsanalysis is linked to psychology, I do not forget this aspect and the connection with psychotherapy. I devote my phenomenology to the chapter itself, as it is essential for the daseinanalysis to be deepened. I am writing about the principles, development and essence of this philosophical discipline. In the following chapters, I then deal with the interpretation of the time that has been and still is the essence and basic pillar of daseinsanalysis. I describe it from the point of view of Heidegger and also from the philosophical point of view. I also explain concepts such as temporality and succession for better orientation in time. In my work I also distinguish cyclic and linear time and familiarize them with it and its essence. The following chapters are devoted to Martin Heidegger himself. I try to interpret his attitudes, philosophy...

Iron availability in the presence of b-carotene and the effect of interferents in food mixtures.

Germano, Romilda Maria de Arruda 07 May 2002 (has links)
In the world, iron deficiency and vitamin A deficiency reach alarming numbers, affecting population with level economic-social lower as well as people in better positions. This research aims to estimate the iron availability in the presence of b-carotene in food mixtures iron’s sources (spinach, bean and egg) and b-carotene’s sources (carrot, pumpkin and cabbage), with low prices, that have resulted nine mixtures, denominated: M1= egg and pumpkin; M2= spinach and pumpkin; M3= spinach and cabbage; M4= egg and cabbage; M5= spinach and carrot; M6= egg and carrot; M7= bean and carrot; M8= bean and pumpkin and M9= bean and cabbage. In this food mixtures, after cooking, were studied proximate composition, levels of oxalic acid, phytic acid, tannin, minerals, in vitro dialyzability of iron and levels of b-carotene. The statistical analysis was determinate (Tukey 5%) by SAS System. The food mixtures M1, M4, M6 showed low levels of dietetic fiber, 1,32, 1,35, 1,54 g/100g and the bigger results to protein 6,80, 7,13, 6,59 g/100g and to crude fat 4,77, 4,79, 5,73 g/100g, respectively. The oxalic acid ranges to 0,14 from 0,27%, with bigger results in food mixtures with spinach; phytic acid ranges to 0,00 from 1,03 mg/g, with high levels in bean’s samples; the tannin ranges to 0,01 from 0,14 with high levels in spinach’s samples. b-carotene showed levels ranges to 4,62 from 26,10 mg/100g. With regard to minerals, it’s ranges to 0,19 from 1,00 g/Kg in phosphorus; to 0,82 from 1,37 g/Kg in potassium; to 0,17 from 0,92 g/Kg in calcium; to 0,03 from 0,18 g/Kg in magnesium; to 0,19 from 0,93g/Kg in sulfur; to 0,00 from 0,65 mg/Kg in cupper; to 6,87 from 14,99 mg/Kg in iron; 0,00 a 13,08 mg/Kg in manganese and to 2,88 from 7,16 mg/Kg in zinc. In vitro dialyzability of iron ranges to 3,39 from 31,11%, and the best result was M6. It’s concluded that dietetic fiber was an inhibitor in the iron’s absorption. And, food mixtures with egg, mainly M6 (egg and carrot), increased iron availability and that crude protein and crude fat were more significant in absorption’s increase than b-carotene.

Jönsson, Svarf Ingrid Elisabeth January 2019 (has links)
This thesis aims to examine which views of the human being that are manifested in the Swedish and Dutch legislation on prostitution. The theoretical framework consists of the humanist, the christian and the naturalistic views of the human being in combination with the concepts of autonomy and human dignity. The question is which views of the human being are manifested in the Swedish and Dutch legislation on prostitution? According to this thesis all three views of the human being can be traced in the legislations. The humanist view of the human being is most clearly manifested, in both the Swedish and Dutch legislation on prostitution, however their views are from different angles. Whereas the view of the Swedish legislation is that the autonomy and human dignity of the seller is violated in prostitution, the Dutch legislation on the other hand sees autonomy as the seller’s right to choose prostitution. In Dutch legislation both seller and buyer are seen as autonomous beings with ability to reason, and prostitution is seen as a trade transaction. In Swedish legislation the seller is seen as vulnerable and exposed and the buyer is seen as a criminal, and both seller and buyer are in need of change and help, in different ways.

Sixty women, aged between 19 and 77 have participated of this study. Thirty out of all of them had vitiligo (experimental group) and other 30 had different skin diseases (control group). The following instruments were used to collect data: #1 Form to characterization of sample, #2 Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI), #3 Semi-structured interview and #4 Theme drawing. The DLQI was applied in the two groups and the other instruments applied only in experimental group. The data collected were analyzed under analytical psychology and psychosomatic Jungian. The interviews speeches were analyzed, then 03 categories and 10 subcategories were determined: emotional factors (factors which caused the disease, aggravating factors of the disease); the disease purpose; living with the disease (social support, prejudice, disturbances derived from the disease, behavior towards the disease, the disease impact, exposition to the symptoms, expectations concerning the treatment and fear of kids having the disease). The results revealed a commitment to the life quality not only to the women having vitiligo but also to the women who had other skin diseases, and there was no significant statistical difference between the two groups. It was observed the association of emotional aspects in the appearance and/or aggravating condition of vitiligo as well as behavioral changes, limitations and prejudice experienced by women having the disease. The drawings pointed out certain symbolic representations of vitiligo, showing conflicts and suffering due to the disease / O presente trabalho objetivou observar as variáveis psicossociais decorrentes do vitiligo e representações simbólicas dessa doença.
