Monstruosit et identits littraires : une tude sur les littratures antillaise et qubcoise

For some nations or communities, the construction of an identity proves more subtle than for others. As far as former colonies are concerned, this construction relies notably on an acute complexity as the identity is multidimensional and fractured. Although the two cases may seem radically different, one can see a similar battle aimed towards affirming an identity in Antillean and Qubcois literature. On the one hand, there is an undeniable influence of the French school and metropolitan norms. On the other hand, there is the need to exist through the flourishing of ones own culture and language. In the case of Antillean and Qubcois literatures, this fracture tends to turn into monstrosity. In this research, I will show that monstrosity is visible on several levels: in the fragmentation of the psyche, in the variety of themes evoked in the texts and in their structure. / French Language, Literatures and Linguistics

Racial Identity Attitudes as Predictors of Cognitive Correlates of Social anxiety in African Americans

The relationship between racial identity attitudes derived from Crossis (1978) theory of Racial Identity Development, the cognitive correlates of social anxiety, and indices of psychological functioning were explored. Subjects were 101 African American college students. Preencounter, Encounter and Immersion attitudes were all positively related to increased personal distress as indicated by positive relations to fear of negative evaluation, social avoidance and distress, and negative relation to indices of healthy psychological functioning. Internalization attitudes were indicative of healthy psychological functioning as indicated by negative relations to measures of social anxiety and positive relations to indices of healthy psychological functioning. Implications for future research and service delivery to African American populations are discussed. / Master of Science

In my diploma thesis I intend to look into the issue of commitment in love relationships. I wonder how it is influenced by the nature of nowadays society enhancing individualism and flexibility. Commitments are based in merging our own identity with identity of our partner. But crucial is to balance it with our own autonomy and freedom. Commitment means putting certain restrictions to our future choices. I made sixteen semi-structured qualitative interviewes based on grounded theory and I looked for answers how they perceive commitments in love relationships, what meaningful partnership means to them and how they cope with comparing potential alternatives. The main focus of this thesis is to analyse the identity management of Czech bank. The author deals with the authentication and authorization of bank employees, the lifecycle of identities and also suggests the operational improvement of systems that relate to identity management. The aim is to show the view from every angle on identity management, highlight the problems and propose countermeasures, respectively measures to improve the identity management running.The main methods of research are analysis of documents, unstructured interview with employees and observation of systems operation. The benefit of this work is in providing author's opinion and recommendations, which can lead to an overall better running identity management in the bank.

Formålet med undersøkelsen er å beskrive og analysere, med utgagnspunkt i den tidligere kvinnelige heroinmisbrukers opplevelser, hvordan hun har erfart livet med heroinbruk og nå opplever livet uten rus. Metode: Studien er gjennomført med kvalitativ metode, narrativ kasusstudie. Syv kvinner har fortalt sine historier om prosessen fra de startet med rusbruk, ble avhengige av illegale rusmidler og veien fram mot en rusfri tilværelse. Ståstedet de har i dag som rusfrie er også beskrevet. Resultater: Et hovedtema i fortellingene er ulike relasjoners betydning for identitet og identitetsendringer. I historiene dokumenteres spesielt opplevelser av krenkelser og maktmisbruk av hjelpere innenfor sosial- og helsevesenet. Kampen for å få hjelp til å beholde relasjonen til og ansvaret for barn er sterkt preget av mistillit til barnevernet og skaper barrierer for konstruktive prosesser. Kvaliteten av hjelp eller om du får hjelp i det hele tatt synes å være avhengig av hvor du bor og hvem du møter. Relasjon til menn har vært preget av mishandling og avhengighet for å få tilgang til dop. Fedre er usynlige i historien. Overgangen til å være rusmisbruker til å bli nykter er smertefull. Livet som rusfri oppleves som meningsfylt, men hverdagslivet preges tildels av trange sosioøkonomiske rammebetingelser, psykiske og fysiske helseplager. Konklusjoner: Forståelse for rusproblematikk må knyttes til prosesser som går over tid og sees i et livsløpsperspektiv. Psykososiale støttetiltak må opprettholdes ut fra individuelle behov både når det gjelder omfang, innhold og tid. I forbindelse med oppbrudd fra rusmisbruk er kvinner spesielt avhengige av et godt utviklet nettverk. Nøkkelsituasjoner som graviditet og omsorgsoppgaver må ivaretas. Det er behov for å løfte fram kjønnperspektivet når det gjelder samfunnets inngripende over for tidligere og nåværende misbrukende kvinner og menn og deres barn. Kjønnsperspektivet når det gjelder støtte eller behandlingstiltak for kvinner, er et virksomt redskap når det gjelder å forstå, ikke bare kvinners, men også menns behov for spesifikk støtte og behandling. Når det gjelder samfunnsinnsats, er det derfor nødvendig å være lydhør for betydningen av nye maskuliniteten og femininiteten som utvikles. Det er behov for forskning som løfter fram tidligeres misbrukeres egne fortellinger om erfaringer og behov i prosessen fra å være hekta til å bli nykter. / Aim: Using the experiences of recovered, female heroine abusers, their lives as heroin users, process of rehabilitation and how they experience drug free lives will be described and analyzed. Method: The study, using qualitative methods/narrative case study, included seven women. They recounted their stories of the beginning of their drug use, their addiction to illegal drugs, their road to recovery and living a drug free life. Results: A main theme in their narratives was the significance their various relationships have for identity and identity changes. In particular, their stories document experienced violations/infringements and misuse of power of workers in the public health and social services. The battle to get help in maintaining relationships to and responsibility for their children is characterized by mistrust of the child welfare authorities; this creates barriers to constructive processes. The quality of assistance and whether one receives assistance seems to be dependent on where one lives and personal contacts. Relationships to men have been characterized by abuse and dependency on them for access to drugs. Fathers are invisible in their stories.The transition from drug abuser to drug free is painful. They experience a sense of purpose in life as a drug free person, but daily living holds its own problems such as tight socioeconomic framework conditions and mental and physical health problems. Conclusions: Understanding for drug abuse and recovery issues must be bound to long term processes and be seen in a life course perspective. Psychosocial support measures should be based on individual needs concerning scope, content and time. In regards to ending drug abuse, women are especially dependent on a developed network. Key situations must be attended to such as pregnancy and their role in care giving. Society’s interventions towards women and men who are past or current drug abusers and their children must be accomplished with a focus on a gender specific perspective. The gender perspective concerning support and treatment of/for women is of great importance in understanding both women and men’s need for specific types of support and treatment. This is especially true when society intervenes; it must be done in light of the changing roles of the masculine and the feminine in modern culture. The data collection of this research was done through individual interviews and records of collective interventions in field diaries. The assumptions of the Grounded Theory and, as an analytical proposal, the conceptions derived from the American black feminism from the intersectional perspective are used as methodological dimension. Through this theoretical contribution is proposed an understanding of the strategic forms of agency in the prison territory engendered by persons in detention in this gallery. En ce sens, la tendance misogyne du r??gime nazi ne peut ??tre comprise que par un exercice g??n??alogique. It is offered by the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS), a reference unit used to carry out social assistance as a public policy within the Basic Social Protection Program established in several Brazilian municipalities. The objective of this research is to evaluate the event management of the Global Family Protection and Assessment Service in a determined municipality of the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, as well as the actions developed and enforced by its professionals, always observing the limits, possibilities and results of those actions and their relation to the directives established between the sectors involved. A qualitative research took place, associating bibliographical and documental studies, observations and interviews with professionals of higher education (social assistant and psychologist), currently engaged within the Social Assistance Reference Center, as well as the Coordinator of the unit. The results reveal that the municipality has made efforts to execute the actions of the Global Family Protection and Assessment Service. The team is able to implement the delimited actions within the legal marks. However, the limits imposed by the reduced size of the team and lack of transportation are factors that decrease the number of people that can be reached and the quality of the work when the socio-family follow up and monitoring of the actions taken is considered. The directive used between the active sectors is incipient as it is still based on a common sense perspective in which the execution of systematic reunions must be held to share information, establish partnerships for specific actions and announce forwarding‟s. All professionals are hired under a temporary employment status and the quantity of daily activities makes a deep analysis about the actions undertaken a difficult task. / O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a política de Educação Escolar Indígena no recorte de seu processo de implementação no território Tapeba, em Caucaia/Ce. Teve como propósito de avaliação, ser uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, utilizando como método a avaliação em profundidade. Os objetivos estabelecidos foram primeiramente conhecer o histórico de implementação da política no estado do Ceará, e em específico no território Tapeba, levando em consideração o contexto de etnogênese dos povos indígenas do estado e região. Em seguida, compreender a relação que se estabelece entre Estado e população indígena, no campo das disputas políticas em torno da afirmação da identidade étnica e conquista de território. A pesquisa realizou-se em algumas etapas: num primeiro momento consistiu na definição de categorias, a luz das quais iriam ser analisados as diretrizes e execução da política no contexto local – Identidade e Territorialidade; em seguida foram analisados documentos que fundamentam legalmente a existência da política num contexto nacional e local, no caso, do Estado do Ceará; depois veio a etapa da pesquisa de campo propriamente dita, com a utilização da observação participante e entrevistas em profundidade utilizados como instrumentais. Por fim, a análise das diferentes compreensões entre Estado e lideranças Tapeba, a respeito da educação diferenciada indígena. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam para a necessidade de repensar a condução do processo de implementação, tanto no que se refere ao contexto local, como no âmbito nacional, garantindo o respeito ao princípio da equidade, fundante nas políticas que se pretendem a resolver ou minimizar a problemática da exclusão social.

Analisando alguns aspectos que cercaram o cotidiano das pessoas, nos seus espaços de lazer e de trabalho, foi possível apreender como a comunidade alemã incorporou práticas culturais, ao mesmo tempo, que contribuiu na formação e constituição da Colônia e da região ao inserir seus costumes e conhecimentos, transformando esse processo numa dinâmica de trocas culturais, que colaborou na construção da identidade brasileira. Se, por um lado, os espaços de sociabilidade compartilhados entre as pessoas eram os espaços que os uniam ao emergir o sentimento de pertencimento à comunidade, ao lugar que se estabeleceram, por outro, esses espaços também demarcavam as diferenças sociais que, paulatinamente foram sendo superadas ou resignificadas, na medida em que se inseriam na sociedade brasileira. Portanto, os sentimentos múltiplos que se entrecruzam na memória evidenciam uma Colônia que perdeu sua identidade alemã ao se inserir e se adequar aos costumes brasileiros. Porém, esse processo foi permeado por inúmeras dificuldades, sofrimentos e preconceitos relacionados à sua inserção, às quais foram sendo forjadas pelas múltiplas formas de sociabilidade que, não só viabilizaram essa inserção como ampliaram as redes de relações que possibilitaram às pessoas o sentimento de identificação à nova identidade / The present research has the intention of assimilating the network of sociability woven by the German immigrants and their descendent, dwellers of the Riograndense Colony in the city of Maracaí, state of São Paulo, Brazil. Analyzing some aspects of the daily routine of these people, in their work and leisure issues, made possible to assimilate how the German community incorporated the cultural practices in the meantime that contributed to the formation of the Colony and its region while introducing its habits and knowledge turning this project in to a dynamic of social exchanges that collaborated to the formation of the Brazilian identity. If in one hand the spaces of sociability shared among the people were the same spaces that gathered them in the appearing of this feeling of belonging to a community, to the place they have established, in the other hand these spaces also demarcated the social differences that were overcame and resignified while they inserted themselves into the Brazilian society. Therefore the multiple feelings that intercross in the memory show a colony that lost its German identity while introducing itself to the Brazilian habits. Nevertheless this process was permeated by countless difficulties, suffering and preconception related to its insertion forged by the multiple forms of sociability that besides making possible this insertion also amplified the relationship network that gave the people the feeling of identification to the new identity
