Weinreich (1953; 2006), Grosjean (1982), Wei (2000), Braggio (1998; 2005), Carvalho
(1989). Este estudo está dividido em quatro capítulos. No capítulo 1 são apresentados
os aspectos sócio-históricos e linguísticos do povo Krahô. No capítulo 2, discutimos
acerca do contato de línguas, Educação Intercultural e as concepções metodológicas
que dão sustentação a este estudo. A pesquisa etnográfica baseia-se nas concepções
teóricas de Angrosino (2009), Beaud & Weber (2007) e Erickson (1984). No capítulo
3, analisamos aspectos referentes à diversidade linguística e ao bilinguismo. No
capítulo 4, apresentamos a tipologia, a descrição e as análises dos empréstimos
linguísticos de L2 em L1. As classificações dos itens lexicais neológicos formados por
empréstimo usadas por Albuquerque (2009), Carvalho (1989), Haugen apud
Weinreich (1953) e Mesquita (2009) serão largamente utilizadas neste trabalho.
empréstimos i) lexicais, ii) não-lexicais, iii) semânticos e iv) por “loan blends”. Pudemos
The language contact is a phenomenon that stablishes several consequences in the
languages involved, among which we highlight the codeswitching and borrowings. In
this paper, we describe and analyze the phonological and morphological processes
existing in existing lexias and expressions that represent the derivatives loanwords
from Portuguese to Krahô language, belonging to the language family Jê and Macro-
Jê language Trunk (RODRIGUES, 2002). This study is vinculated to OBEDUC /
CAPES / UFT and is part of Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras da UFT. Aiming
to reflect on the didactic and pedagogical conceptions involving the teaching and
learning of the mother tongue at Indigenous School April 19, we investigated the types
of loans and analyze their descriptions as regards the process Indigenous Bilingual
Education, Intercultural, Differentiated and Specific based on the contributions of
Albuquerque (1999, 2007) Romaine (1995, 2000), Weinreich (1953, 2006), Grosjean
(1982), Wei (2000), Braggio (1998, 2005), Carvalho (1989). This study is divided into
four chapters. In chapter 1 are presented the socio-historical and linguistic aspects of
Krahô people. In the capter two we discuss about the language contact, Intercultural
Educacion and about the methodological conceptions that support this study.
Ethnographic research is based on theoretical conceptions of Angrosino (2009), Beaud
e Weber (2007) and Erickson (1984). In Chapter 3 we analyze aspects related to
linguistic diversity and bilingualism. In Chapter 4 presents a typology, the description
and analysis of borrowings from L2 into L1. The ratings of neological lexical items used
by Albuquerque (2009), Carvalho (1989), Haugen cited Weinreich (1953) and
Mesquita (2009) will be used extensively in this work. These authors study languages
in contact and asymmetric situation and analyse the incorporation of the new words
from source language to receptor language. Based on the theorical conceptions of
these authors, into language Krahô we find borrowings i) lexical, ii) non-lexical, iii)
semantic and iv) for "loan blends". We was found that, at school and society, there is
a very strong fetch in favor of maintaining linguistic L1, hence, this paper is a
contribution to strengthen of the language and culture Krahô as well as Krahô School
Education in bilingual and intercultural perspective.

Previous issue date: 2009-10-22 / This study investigated in a sample of 823 public high school students the influence of
two intergroup feelings collective guilt and shame , the levels of identification of
non-indigenous to the brazilian nation and the role of contact between indigenous and
non-indigenous in the existence of prejudice against indigenous. The collective guilt
focuses on the effect of harmful acts, that is, the person feels he/she is responsible for
what happened. On the other hand the collective shame implies protection of self-image
and therefore the individual perpetrator of harmful acts tend to avoid the damaging
event. The results indicate that the prejudice of non-indigenous against indigenous is
high and there is a positive correlation between non-contact situation with prejudice. On
the other hand, there is a negative correlation between guilt and prejudice and between
identity and prejudice. Finally there were higher prejudice, guilt and shame in noncontact
situation. These results are discussed emphasizing both the social relevance of
this work and its implications for relations between indigenous and non-indigenous
people in Brazil.
A culpa

2014 - 2016"Quispe Torobeo, Wilfredo 05 September 2017 (has links)
The present thesis will show the most notable limiting factors for the
native communities of the Lower Urubamba, Echarate district to access
documentation and identity. The research was done with reference to the
implementation of the National Plan for Identity Restitution 2005-2009.
The research is predominantly qualitative, because we are interested in
knowing what you think and what the attitudes are, of Reniec officials, local
authorities and population. Likewise, we worked under the approaches of
rights, gender and interculturality; Which will improve the social dynamics of
communities, the empowerment of women, the improvement of child
rearing, and the development of native communities; Having as a means
the recognition of their right to their own identity.
The most important problems of the right to documentation and identity
ultimately respond to the cultural non-relevance of the documentation
proposal in relation to the socio-cultural and economic reality of the native
communities. Some of the most significant limitations have been the lack of
permanence of the Reniec personnel when they carry out campaigns, to
which is added the remoteness of the communities with respect to the
capital of the district to which they belong. For this reason, for
documentation purposes, they could be related to the nearest provincial
and regional establishments, thus overcoming the territorial limits as the
education and health sector has been doing.
Some of the most important alternatives of this research are the
indispensable political will that must have the local and regional authorities,
the financial support, the intersectoral work, the cultural adequacy that
implies the information and participation of the own settlers; As well as the
presence of traveling teams on a quarterly basis. In places such as the
native communities of Echarate could begin the transfer of the civil registry
office of the municipality, to the community through the local creation of a
Reniec office (which was stipulated for the whole country more than five
years ago) Transfer that was normed and still this: has not been
implemented. / Tesis

Pari-cachoeira e Trinidad: convivência e construção da autodeterminação indígena na fronteira Brasil-Colômbia / Pari-Cachoeira and Trinidad: coexistence and construction of the self-determination indigenous in the border Brasil-ColômbiaDutra, Israel Fontes 23 April 2009 (has links)
This work focuses the contradictions and conflicts of the coexistence of Tukano de Pari Cachoeira (Brazil) and Tuyuka of Trinidad (Colombia) and construction of the selfdetermination indigenous in the border Brazil-Colombia, that even with the demarcation of the Indigenous Land Alto Rio Negro in 1998, they were interrupted by the border. This fact threatens the relationships of several shades among those two great towns, to know, the relationship relationships and circulation are harmed. Pari Cachoeira is an inhabited community for the people Tukano, of the subgroup Pãsi Põã, located in the Alto Rio Tiquié, Uaupés, Brazil. Trinidad is inhabited by the people Tuyuka, Alto Tiquié, in Gran Resguardo Indígena Del Vaupés, Department Del Vaupés, Colombia. In the scenery of the indigenous politics of the Rio Negro, Pari Cachoeira stands out for being the place where arose the Indigenous Movement of the Rio Negro, in the beginning of the decade of 70, that it culminated in the foundation of the Federation of the Indigenous Organizations of the Rio Negro (FOIRN), in 1987; and Trinidad stands out for being placed in a conflict area among Colombian Government and the Armed forces Revolutionary of Colombia (FARC), that threatens the circulation and the autonomy indigenous in Colombian territory. The work is constituted of four chapters. The first chapter presents the natives\' of the Alto Rio Negro historical context and the indigenous movement today. I conjugate bibliographical information of the academy and orals of the subject of the research. In the second chapter we turned a theoretical approach of the concepts selected for the research, based on authors of the geography and sciences that study the people and indigenous communities, sovereignty and self-determination, border and circulation and the paradox of the politics: to can and freedom, that also constitutes being indigenous. In the third chapter we emphasized the coexistence relationships among natives and no-indigenous. and mainly of Pari Cachoeira and Trinidad., in which detached the positive and negative aspects of the missionaries\' presence, military and ONGs. In the room I surrender presented the \"alive border\", the importance and the challenges of the coexistence relationships among natives of Pari Cachoeira and Trinidad, that strengthen the construction of the indigenous self-determination in the border strip, where they constantly circulate to fish, to hunt, to work at the countries, to visit their relatives, to participate in events cultural, political and sporting. With the coexistence analysis and construction of the self-determination of those people in the border strip, the objective is to call attention of the Brazilian and Colombian foreign policy, for the need to create coexistence norms and mobility in the border among the two countries In agreement with the local leaderships guaranteeing, then, the safety of those people so that if they feel free and live in agreement with their beginnings and traditions without losing the nationality of both countries. The study demonstrates that the construction of indigenous self-determination doesn\'t mean the fight for an independent State, but it constitutes the logic of freedom of managing their own interests, of the indigenous communities\' sustainability and of present family coexistence in the family relationship among the groups; and that the indigenous presence in the Amazonian and border represents an importance geopolitics for Brazil and Colombia.

A guerra indígena como guerra colonial: as representações e o lugar da belicosidade indígena e da antropofagia no Brasil Colonial (séculos XVI e XVII) / The indigenous war as colonial war: the representations and the place of the indigenous bellicosity and the anthropophagy in colonial Brazil (XVI and XVII centuries)Fujimoto, Juliana 15 December 2016 (has links)
This study is an analysis of the reorientation process of the Indian Wars in colonial Brazil undertaken by investigating the indigenous war activity in the captaincy of Bahia between the implementation of Government-General in 1549 and the Dutch invasion in Bahia 1624. Before achieving this goal we make a literature review of the major anthropological studies about Tupinamba Wars confronting these with the references given by the sources and the contemporary historiography that shows that the Indian war in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries assumed different configurations. It was established as study aims to evaluate the contributions and limits of anthropological analyzes of the Tupi war-sacrifice complex, in order to broaden the understanding of the reorientation process of the Indian war and explain the indigenous participation in wars conducted in Bahia, as well as to evaluate if the focus in missionary activity between Indians helps the understanding of this process. In the theoretical realm, we analyzed the performance of missionaries as cultural brokers for the Jesuit mission in Bahia with the contribution of the theory of cultural mediation. As a methodological guideline, we opted for the narrative-descriptive genre to transcribe the stories that address the transformation process of intertribal wars in colonial war in order to highlight the different theoretical perspectives on indigenous war. We analyzed critically the representations of wars in different sources which made possible the reconstruction of two processes: the adaptation of the Tupi war to answer the colonial war needs and the construction of a new ideology of war with emphasis on Indian bellicosity and cannibalism to justify the new demands generated in the context of colonization. It was identified as the main results of this study, the use of indigenous war practice as colonization and economic exploitation instruments, the intensification of the indigenous bellicosity in European speeches to justify the need for colonization and the reconfiguration of the wars carried out in the New World, that since the encounter overcame the intertribal rivalries and became colonial conflicts.

Inovação educacional entre os Guarani Mbya da aldeia Tenonde Porã / Educational Innovation among the Guarani Mbya from Tenonde Porã villageSantos, Douglas Ladislau dos 22 March 2017 (has links)
The object of this study are the relations that the various Amerindian peoples establish with the schooling package that is offered to them, by looking at their current school educational proposals, conceived both as a right and as a public policy. Considering that each Indigenous group experiences the schooling institution in its own way, an ethnographic research was carried out as an instance of indigenous school education. The research problem proposed is: which aspects at Gwyra Pepo Guarani Indigenous State School may be considered innovative? The focalized hypothesis suggested the presence of dominant guiding principles for school practices, both Indigenous and non Indigenous, that could be reinvented, subverted, updated, strengthened. Carrying out an education that is different from, or that produces differences in regards to, the dominant principles was considered educational innovation. The result of this case study confirmed the hypothesis. It concludes that the Mbya from Tenonde Porã strive daily to produce transformative effects in some aspects of the dominant school model, managing their school in order to guarantee their rights, while working towards greater control of their relations with the surrounding society and trying to find resources for their village.

The Deep Indigenous History of the Monte Castelo Shellmound: an essay on the long duration of pottery and landscapes in the Amazonian southwestPugliese Junior, Francisco Antonio 14 May 2018 (has links)
This work presents and discusses some characteristics of the deep indigenous history of Monte Castelo, a southwestern Amazonian shellmound site, in the light of recent research on that site and the archaeology of shellmounds throughout the region. The data obtained at Monte Castelo confirm that the oldest and most persistent ceramic assemblages in the Americas are located in shellmounds, in contexts where the construction of the landscapes has lasted for millennia, marking periods of intensification in the human occupation of the Amazon Basin. Material culture, stratigraphy and chronology are presented in order to characterize the fundamental traits relating to the origin and development of ceramic technology and landscape management in the lowlands of South America. Human intervention in the landscape has long provided for the reoccupation of many of the earliest known archaeological sites. Parallel to this, several paleoenvironmental markers in the southern Amazon have evidenced variations in the climate that accompany human occupations since, at least, the Early Holocene. In the Guaporé river basin, the chronology of the sites seems to accompany trends of increased water availability and forest expansion, in a period marked by the emergence of more numerous communities and complex artifacts throughout the Middle Holocene. There, the feedback between human interventions and climate change has created a privileged place for settlements, whose striking relative continuity has given rise to some of the most important cultural and landscape changes that have spread widely throughout the Amazon and beyond for thousands of years. Seeking to bring the notion of meaningful places to the archaeology of the Amazonian shellmounds, this work proposes a way to understand them through an inclusive notion of ancestry that may be useful for contemporary indigenous peoples to recover their traditional territories.

A construção do estatuto de cidadão para os índios Grão-Pará (1808-1822) / The building of Indigenous citizenship in Grão-Pará (1808-1822)Santos, Raquel Dani Sobral 03 February 2014 (has links)
The objective of this research is the building of the Indigenous citizenship in Grão-Pará involving the statutes relating to indigenous issues defined in the parliamentary debates that occurred in the Cadiz Courts (1810-1814) and in Lisbon (1820-1822). The chronological cut of this research goes from 1808 to 1822. In this scenario, a new pact was based on the assertion that the citizen is a contracting party of the Nation and, thus, the elaboration on the the new conditions of citizenship constituted one of the main links of these experiences in the Iberian Region. From the meeting of the Cadiz Courts in the Spanish case and Lisbon in the Portuguese case on, being a constitutional citizen consisted on an opposition to the vassal of the Old Regime in both empires and, therefore, represented a break with the past. This new political culture established the beginning of a legal and administrative revolution, marked the deployment of constitutionalism and the exercise of the rights of citizens. Thus, the main objective of this study is to show that there was an expectation of obtaining the right to a citizenship by the Indians in the Province of Grão-Pará, from the dissemination of liberal ideas present in the Iberian constitutional revolutions. In this perspective, this investigation of this study verifies the dissemination of the news of Indians as citizens, defined in the Spanish Constitution of 1812, in periodicals, among the population and military troops in Grão-Pará, which were mainly composed of Tapuios, thereby, indicating a strong evidence to the tensions and social conflicts of the time.
