Informationsklassificering : ett styrdokument för klassificering av informationssystemLarsson, Nicklas, Hallén, Kim January 2010 (has links)
Hantering av information blir allt viktigare i dagens informationssamhälle då information är en av de värdefullaste tillgångarna för verksamheter. Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att skapa ett styrdokument för IT-administratörer som hjälper dem vid klassificering av informationssystem. Styrdokumentet har som uppgift att kontrollera att informationssystem lever upp till verksamheternas krav som finns på konfidentialitet, integritet, tillgänglighet och spårbarhet. Styrdokumentets vetenskapliga värde har verifierats genom att utvalda IT-administratörer undersökt och utvärderat styrdokumentet. Resultatet visar att styrdokumentet kan användas som ett hjälpmedel. Det är lättförståeligt, lämpar sig för mindre tekniska personer och kan även i vissa fall effektivisera klassificeringsprocessen. Slutsatsen är att behovet av denna typ av styrdokument för klassificering av informationssystem behövs inom verksamheter. / Information management is increasingly important in today’s information society as information is one of the most valuable assets for businesses. The purpose of this paper was to create a steering document for IT administrators and to help them when classifying information systems. The steering document is responsible for verifying that information systems meet businesses requirements of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and traceability. The scientific value of the steering document has been verified by selected IT administrators, who have investigated and evaluated it. The results show that the steering document may be used as a guideline for information system classification. It is easily understandable, suitable for less technical people, and may in some cases make the classification process even more efficient. The conclusion is that this type of steering document for information system classification is needed within businesses.

Internet of Things gör det möjligt att skapa “smarta miljöer” där information kan utbytas mellan olika typer av enheter. Denna teknik kan leda till effektivisering och automatisering på en mängd olika sätt, till exempel i våra hem och för affärsverksamheter. Ett område där intresset för denna teknik är stort är inom industrin, där området benämns som Industry 4.0. Där förväntas tekniken bland annat kunna användas för att effektivisera och förutse underhåll av maskiner, en inriktning som kallas e-maintenance. Denna nya teknik medför anpassning och utveckling av nya affärsmodeller och olika typer av informationssystem baserade på dessa. För att värde ska kunna skapas för verksamheter vid användande av en informationshanteringsplattform bör värdeskapande faktorer utforskas. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka, utifrån aspekter ur DeLone och McLeans (2003) Information System Success Model, hur värde kan skapas för ett fallföretag vid användning av en informationshanteringsplattform kopplad till sensorer i verksamheten genom Internet of things. Studien har genomförts med en abduktiv forskningsstrategi och en kvalitativ ansats. En fallstudie har genomförts på ett kundföretag till Sigma Technology, som studien görs i samarbete med. Utifrån ett urval av de anställda på fallföretaget har uppfattningar kring värdeskapande faktorer undersökts, genom enskilda semi- strukturerade intervjuer. Intervjuerna har analyserats och jämförts med Delone och McLeans (2003) Information Systems Success Model för att finna samband eller avvikelser. I studien framkom det att de framstående variablerna för värdeskapande är enkelhet, informationsstruktur, tillgänglighet och pålitlighet. Dessa faktorer ansåg respondenterna vara särskilt viktiga vid utformning av en informationshanteringsplattform. Resultatet visar även att studien till stor del stämmer överens med det teoretiska ramverket och de beroendeförhållanden Information System Success Model presenterar. Faktorer som respondenterna inte ansåg vara lika betydande för värdeskapande och som därmed avvek från modellen är dimensionen servicekvalitet. Baserat på studiens resultat presenteras förslaget att vidareutveckla modellen med den nya dimensionen interaktionskvalité, eftersom att analysen av de värdeskapande faktorerna beskriver detta behov. / Internet of Things enables the creation of “smart environments”, where it is possible to exchange information between objects. This can lead to increased efficiency and automatization in different ways, for example in our homes and for business operations. An area where the interest for this technology is immense is in the industrial sector, and is referred to as Industry 4.0. For this area, the adoption of this technology is expected to, for example, improve efficiency and to predict maintenance, an approach known as e-maintenance. This new technology implies modification and development of business models and enables different types of information systems based on these. To be able to generate value for businesses when using an information management platform, variables that create value should be investigated. The purpose of this study is to examine value-adding variables, with aspects from Delone & McLean’s Information System Success Model (2003), for a specific business case by using an information management platform through Internet of Things and sensors in their operations. This study has been carried out as a case study with one of Sigma Technology’s clients, which this study was made in collaboration with. This study was carried out with an abductive research approach and a qualitative method. To examine the opinions of the company’s employees, individual, semi-structured interview was conducted. The interviews was analyzed and compared with Delone & McLean's Information Systems Success Model, to identify resemblance or divergence. The findings in this study show that the significant variables for value to be created are simplicity, information structure, accessibility and reliability. These factors are considered to be especially important, according to the respondents. Findings also show that the study is mostly consistent with the theoretical model, however, some variance has been discovered and some modifications of the model are presented. A dimension that the respondents did not consider equally important for value creation, and thus deviated from the theoretical framework, is service quality. Based on the significant factors presented in the study, the proposal is to further develop the model by adding an additional dimension, interaction quality, for the reason that the analysis of the value creating factors in this study describes this need.

The goal of this thesis is to summarize the mthods of systém thinking, and to analyze the benefits of using these methods while developing and using the information system on that basis. Part of the thesis targets is the creation of models for analysis of an organisation, projection and follow-up cration of na IS. The thesis also gives the views of IS use -- there it shows models for human resources and the views of services. The benefits of this thesis is the description of the methods of systém thinking, the application disciplines and their use while creating and using the IS. Other benefit should be the possibility to quicken the IS production and to lower external effects on the process of IS creation. In the domain of IS operation, the possibility of fuction modelling and the possibility of IT department simulation will be shown. In the first part of the work the topics of system thinking is defined -- from its definition to division o the problematics. In the same part there is also shown the impact of worldview and the application desciplines are defined -- such as systém analysis, systém dynamics and systém engineering. In the second part of the thesis, the reader can find the definition and analysis of the IS production -- mostly from the view of organization, for which the IS is designed. In the last part the readers may find the view of systems thinking and its benefits in the area of IS operation -- concretely the model, that shows and decribes the possibility of simulation and follow-up optimisation in the organization.

Nowadays information is considered as an essential company source, which is crucial for attaining a competitive advantage. The competitive advantage can be achieved by the acquisition of the relevant information, which is a prerequisite for knowledge creation. Acquired knowledge gives businesses an opportunity to improve their position against competitors quickly by finding the information required for the decision making. Hence the aim of this thesis is to examine the problem of acquisition of the relevant information, where this problem relates to the practice in a leasing company. In order to find the relevant information, the leasing company must precisely define its information needs so that it can obtain the relevant information more efficiently, in particular by using current information management tools. At present, information management is strongly affected by contemporary trends, such as Big Data, mobility, Cloud Computing, social media etc. As a consequence of these trends, volume of electronically processed information increases every day. Due to information oversaturation, information users may face the difficult information search problem. Using both modern information management tools and exactly defined information needs, the company shall obtain the relevant information in less time, or more information in the same time compared to the other firms. This might allow the company to make decisions more rapidly. In addition, information management tools are likely to uncover new contexts, of which the company was not aware.

Diploma thesis focuses on cybernetics and information literacy with emphasis on the human element in these topics. The first part describes cybernetics with its two basic terms, which are information and management, as a theoretical resource for subsequent detection of information, resp. internet literacy among students of high scholls and universities. The practical part includes creation of questionnaire, articulation of hypotheses for factual and perceived level of information literacy and subsequent interpretation results of the questionnaire. Addressing the respondents was held by deputy director of one prague high school, through social networks and also by direct addressing. This part reports the information about the level of information literacy with sense of constraints that results contains. Explanatory power of the results of the questionnaire survey is mentioned in the conclusion of this thesis.

Syfte: Byggprojekt har blivit allt mer komplexa i tur med att kraven på kvalitet, miljö och hållbarhet har ökat. Med utvecklingen har även BIM-modeller blivit en stor del av byggprojekten. Kraven och komplexiteten gör att mängden information är väldigt stor i projekten. Det gör att modellerna blir tunga och svårarbetade. En delprocess som bidrar till komplexiteten och mängden information är projekteringen av dörrmiljöer. På grund av att modellerna växer kommer lösningar som ska underlätta informationshantering kopplad till modellerna. En sådan lösning är databaser som kopplas till modellen. Studiens avser därför att undersöka om en databas-tjänst kopplad till en modell kan effektivisera projekteringen av dörrmiljöer. Metod: För att uppnå målet och besvara studiens frågeställningar har ett kvalitativt arbetssätt nyttjats. En litteraturstudie gjordes för att samla fakta till problembeskrivning och teoretiskt ramverk. Empirin är baserad på sex semi-strukturerade intervjuer samt en observation och ett test av tjänsten BIMEYE. Utifrån empirin, frågeställningarna och valda teorier har sedan en analys utformats. Resultat:Resultatet visar att projektering av dörrmiljöer bygger på att alla krav identifieras i början av ett projekt och att kunniga projektmedlemmar krävs under dörrprojekteringen, för att kunna identifiera funktionerna på de komplexa dörrmiljöerna. För att tydligare redovisa dörrarna och deras funktioner föredrog respondenterna dörrmiljökort där varje dörr redovisas var för sig. Problem med informationssamordning och att information försvinner, kan lösas genom att samla informationen i en databas så att informationen lagras på en plats. Där kan den göras tillgänglig för bearbetning av alla involverade i projektet. Studien visar att molnbaserade databaser kopplade till BIM-modeller kan effektivisera informationshanteringen under projekteringsarbetet, då den är källan till information för flera olika verktyg. Konsekvenser: Dörrmiljöer kommer att förbli komplexa och innehålla en stor mängd funktioner. För att underlätta och effektivisera arbetsprocessen kan molntjänsten BIMEYE eller liknande tjänst användas. En sådan tjänst bidrar till en säkrare informationshantering och kommer minska antalet missar vid granskning. Vid en övergång till ett databasbaserat arbetssätt rekommenderas utifrån studiens resultat att de anställda utbildas och att en standardiserad arbetsgång tas fram. Begränsningar: Arbetet begränsades till att studera projekteringsprocessen för dörrmiljöer. Det är därför osäkert huruvida studiens resultat går att applicera på andra delprocesser under projekteringen. Studien har också avgränsats från andra molntjänster än BIMEYE vilket kan göra att resultatet inte är tillämpbart för andra liknande tjänster. Dessutom kan det inte uteslutas att resultatet inte är applicerbart för programvarorna ArchiCad och Simplebim eftersom studien har fokuserat på Revit och dess koppling till BIMEYE. / Purpose: Construction projects have become more and more complex, with increasing demands on quality, environment, and sustainability. With the development, BIM models have become a major part of the construction projects. The requirements and complexity create large amounts of information in the projects. This makes the models heavy and hard to work with. One subprocess that contributes to the complexity and amount of information is the design of door environments. Because the models are growing, solutions will be designed to facilitate information management linked to the models. One such solution is databases that are linked to the model. The study therefore intends to investigate whether a database service linked to a model can make the design of door environments more effective. Method: To achieve the goal and answer the study's questions, a qualitative approach has been used. A literature study was done to gather facts for problem description and theoretical framework. The empiricism is based on six semi-structured interviews as well as an observation and a test of BIMEYE. Based on the empiricism, the questions and the selected theories, an analysis has been designed. Findings: The result shows that the design of door environments is based on the fact that all requirements are identified at the beginning of a project and that knowledgeable project members are required during door design, in order to identify the functions of the complex door environments. To give a clearer presentation of the doors and their functions, the respondents preferred door environment drawings where each door is presented separately. Problems with coordination of information and information that disappear can be solved by gathering the information in a database so that the information is stored in one place. There it can be made available for processing by everyone involved in the project. The study shows that cloud-based databases linked to BIM models can streamline information management during the design work, as it is the source of information for several different tools. Implications: Door environments will remain complex and contain a large number of functions. To facilitate and streamline the work process, the cloud service BIMEYE or a similar service can be used. Such a service contributes to a more secure information management and will reduce the number of misses during review. When transitioning to a database-based way of working, it is recommended, based on the study's results, that the employees get trained and that a standardized workflow is developed. Limitations: The work was limited to studying the design process for door environments. It is therefore uncertain whether the results of the study can be applied to other sub-processes during the design phase. The study has also been delimited from cloud services other than BIMEYE which may make the result not applicable to other similar services. Furthermore, it cannot be ruled out that the result is not applicable to ArchiCad and Simplebim because the study has focused on Revit and its connection to BIMEYE.

This diploma thesis deals with problems of development of chatbots. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concept of the conversational interface in general and analyzes available technologies for its development. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of a particular chatbot, whose goal is to be a virtual assistant in the process of selecting and purchasing goods. This is accomplished by connecting the chatbot to the product information management system using OData web services. One of the biggest problems was to determine the order of questions asked about product properties. For the implementation was used decision tree theory.
